Rachel was intrigued when she heard a knock at the door, who could possibly
be disturbing her, she wanted them to leave so that she could think about
the situation with Joey. When she took three brisk steps towards the door
to see who was bothering her, it crossed her mind that it could not be
Monica or Chandler as they were out playing competitive games with Mike and
Phoebe, but she did not know where any of the others were. As she slowly
twisted the handle and pulled the door towards her, she looked up and into
the deep sea blue of Joey's eyes.
"Joey" She whispered not knowing what to expect.
Joey did not reply with an answer to the question he knew was racing through Rachel's mind. Instead he advanced slowly, with an anxious but eager look on his face. Joey took two steps towards Rachel looked into her eyes and then kissed her passionately with meaning. There was so much chemistry and romance between them. Rachel was surprised when Joey pulled away reluctantly ending the fantastic sensation that held them together so closely.
She smiled a sweet smile for Joey and he returned the gesture with a warm light in his eyes. He raised his hand to her face and gently swept her hair away so that he could look deep into her beautiful dark brown eyes and see the woman he has secretly loved for a painfully long time. They pressed their lips together and kissed passionately for a few seconds and then Joey slowly pushed the door closed with his foot looking for some privacy.
Rachel had never felt like this before about anyone, she was in love with Joey so much that she could not describe it to anyone. It compared with no other emotion that Rachel had experienced on any other occasion. Joey new he had done the right thing as it was a great risk to take and if it had gone wrong his whole life would have fallen to pieces because he had waited for a year for this moment and it had to be right. It felt right, it was right.
Ross and Charlie were kissing passionately in the Hotel lobby when they realised that they were in a public place and things were going to get a little more heated. They reluctantly stopped the passion to go back to Ross's apartment. When they arrived they realised that they had left their bags in the lobby.
"I left the key in my bag," Ross groaned desperately.
"So did I!" Charlie moaned.
"I'll go and see if Rachel is in her room, as she has a spare one." Ross said.
Charlie wondered why Rachel could possibly have a spare key but trusted Ross so she went along with it. They were outside room 1202 when Ross turned around. Charlie pressed her lips onto his and the passion was rekindled from five minutes previous. As the passion heated up they forgot about the key and could only think about each other. Charlie pushed Ross up against the wall in the heat of the moment but he fell through.
Charlie had actually pushed Ross onto the door of room 1202 and fallen straight through. (Joey had obviously not kicked the door closed properly). Ross and Charlie looked up to the faces of Joey and Rachel on the bed with a fruity red lipstick (Rachel's favourite Ross remembered), smeared all over Joey's face.
