Beep, beep, beep

John Doggett groaned at the dreadful sound of the alarm clock.

Beep, beep, beep…

Monica Reyes rolled onto her back, frowning.

Beep, beep, beep...

"Goooooooooooooood make it stop John!" Monica moaned, grabbing a pillow and buried her head under it.

Beep, beep, beep...

"Johnnnnnnnnnnnnn! Make it stop! Do something!" She whined, peeking out from under the pillow.

John only groaned and ducked his head under the cover.

"John, do something! Please~?" Monica pleaded, trying to sound like she was ready to cry.

"You make it stop," John grumbled, his voice barely understandable under the cover.

"Why? It's your house and your bed!"

"Yeah, but it's on your side Mon."

Damn, Monica thought, that's undeniable.

Still covering her head with the pillow, Monica stretched out an arm, and started to press buttons on the alarm clock.

Nope, you're not it. No, not you. Goddamn it, where's the off button?

"Why didn't you turn it off last night?" She whined while searching for the right button.

"Yeah, like I'd remember it when you were trying to kiss the life out of me."

Frustrated, she threw off the pillow, and pressed on the "off" button hard.

The beeping stopped.

Satisfied, John sighed from under the cover. "That's more like it... now get back down here."
