It was late in the evening and everyone had fallen asleep while Harry Potter and Ron Weasley sat in front of the warm fire in the Gryffindor common room. Earlier that day the Great Feast had taken place and everyone had had their fill. Now Harry and Ron sat comfortably in their chairs at Hogwarts in their sixth year. "Harry, mind if I ask you something?"
"Sure, what's up?"
"Well, why is it that everyone thinks that Hermione and I are going out? I mean we've been friends since our first year and we're still just friends so what's the big deal?" Harry tried in vain to muffle a laugh, before Harry could control himself Ron looked over, "And what may I ask, is so impeccably funny?"
"Well," Harry started but again in vain he tried to muffle a laugh," Uh, well, let's see," Harry started losing control, "When you found out last year that Hermione was writing to Krum, you, well," Harry lost all control and burst out into uncontrolled laughter, "Ha ha ha ha ha! You seemed very well jealous! Ha, ha, ha!" Harry fell out of the chair clutching his stomach laughing on controllably. Ron abruptly stood up.
"I was not jealous! I was just, um, concerned." Harry fell into another fit of laughter. "Stop laughing!" He only rolled around on the floor laughing all the more harder. "You do remember that I am a prefect! I could give you detention you know!" He stilled laughed all the more. "You know what Harry, I'll just leave you to your giggling fit. I'm going to bed." Ron left Harry for the boys' dormitory leaving him laughing uncontrollably hard.

At that same time upstairs in the girls' dormitory Hermione and Ginny were having their own conversation.
"I just don't get it Gin, why is it that these days when a guy and a girl talk it means they're automatically dating?"
"Well," Ginny put on her best fake smile, "It's just you guys act so much like a couple so that's what people think,"
"What do you mean we act like a couple? What do we do that makes us look like were a couple?"
"Well," Ginny did her best not to go all blabby, "You fight,"
"We fight?"
"Yes, you fight, I mean couples fight like that all the time and for you two it seems to natural that way."
"So because we fight people automatically think we're a couple?"
"Well, it's just not the fighting,"
"Then what else?" Hermione had a look on her face that for once she had no idea what was going on.
"Well, you hang out a lot,"
"With Harry," Hermione quickly added, "It's not like we go to Hogsmeade together on a date,"
"True, true," Ginny yawned and stretched her arms out, "it must be late, I'm going to bed,"
"Yeah, your right, it's probably late, good night Ginny,"
"Night Hermione," Ginny sank into her pillows and shook her head softly from side to side, if only they saw what everyone else did.
