She looks through a veil of sorrow,

Worried for the ones under her care.

Knowing the fate of the world rests in her hands,

She creates a way for the safekeeping of her life.

Hoping that it would never happen,

Praying she would survive,

Yet knowing it might happen.

She moves along a hallway,

Yet she does not.

The gentle protectress now enslaved,

Fighting for herself.

The girl moves forward,

now lost, She holds her high.

A sacrifice she must be,

The new era of death.

Her children she sees before her,

Within she cries bitter tears.

She longs to cry out to them,

It isn't her, but another.

She hurts the silent child,

Her icy attack fast and true.

Another time now,

She is angry, the protectress fights.

The children face her,

Her misled son by her side.

She is defeated,

The dark shadow now gone.

The girl falls into sleep,

Unable to awake.

She cannot tell them of the state,

She cannot understand.

Things happen, power lost,

Girl posessed and evil found.

Great cry, and compression of time,

Children gone to fight.

Prays they will return,

Hopes that She will die,

Prepares for anything.

They return to her,

She is dead, time restored.

Forgiveness is given to both,

Memories restored.
