*Hello! This is a poem to Arwen from her mother, Celebrian. My friends and I play Elves, so I wrote it for my Elven 'daughter'. Hope you enjoy!*

So fair, so bright, my Evenstar,

My little Elven child,

I felt the world was right again,

Each time your fair lips smiled

For now my world is cold and dark,

Foul voices in my ears,

Across the Sea I soon shall pass,

To dwell past count of years

The Orcs, foul Orcs, they tortured me,

For many long, foul days

Until my sons came, bearing me,

Back under sun's bright rays

And so in time my wound was healed,

Thanks to my husband's art

But nevermore could I find rest,

Nor peace within my heart

But you, my little Evenstar,

Your future sings of bliss

I pray that you shall find that joy,

With nothing e'er amiss

And yet, I seem to sense a cloud,

Hanging o'er your sun

No love you'll find 'midst Elven kind,

But with a mortal one

And then the penalty of love,

Shall fall upon your head

Alas! After your lover dies,

You too will soon be dead

But do not fear that dreadful day,

For many, many years

He has not come, this mortal man,

For whom shall fall your tears

And rest assured that when you die,

No longer someone's wife,

Your lover's soul shall dwell with yours,

Forever after life

*So what did you think? Go review, and tell me! Thanks!*
