It was a warm, sunny day. A young man by the name of Harry Potter was out in the garden of his London townhouse, pulling up weeds. Exhausted, he went inside his house and into the kitchen. He had a glass of cold, fresh orange juice, and then went into the lounge room to watch television. He was bored, so he turned off the television and went outside. And that was when it all started.

As he sat on the wooden bench out the front of his house, he felt a pain in his forehead. It was a terrible, searing pain, like a knife was cutting through him. He raised his hand to the lighting-shaped scar on his forehead. It was common for him to have these pains. But this was no ordinary scar.

It was a souvenir, a memento of the terrible night he had said an eternal goodbye to his parents. He had been only one year old when the wizarding world's most feared wizard, Voldemort, had tried to kill him and his parents. Both his parents, Lily and James Potter, had died in their attempts to save themselves and each other. Voldemort had then turned on baby Harry. With the same curse that had killed hundreds and witches and wizards, including Harry's parents, Harry was blasted in the forehead.

The result of this; Harry was left with a permanent scar, and Voldemort was reduced to almost nothing. Voldemort had come back though, and had become powerful in Harry's fourth year at Hogwarts.

Harry had used to go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, although he had now finished school and was now an Auror. At the end of each year he had encountered Voldemort, and done a duel with him. Voldemort had still not defeated Harry. He was married to Hermione Granger, his best friend since he had started Hogwarts, and had two children, Sarah and Andrew. His children were twins, both three years old, and when they turned eleven were going to be sent to Hogwarts. His children looked a lot like their parents. Both had Harry's brilliant sparkling green eyes, and both had their mother's soft, light brown hair. But neither of them possessed Harry's scar. That was about the only un-genetic thing.

When Harry's scar hurt, it meant that Voldemort was feeling particularly powerful emotions. 'I wonder what he's feeling this time.' thought Harry to himself.

But despite this 'warning', Harry had no idea whatsoever about what would happen to him that night.
