Fear of Future
by Boby Hobs
Prologue:
Aragorn was walking across the echoing halls of Rivendell.
"Would I now like some..." he yelped. There were several little elves that came to his aid.

Lothlórien
"Hoom hoom," said Aragorn.
"I beg your pardon, Master," inquired Legolas.
"Hoom hoom," repeated Aragorn with no grand annoyance in his tone. Again, several little elves came to his aid. They were accompanied by Haldir who wished to make an appearance in the story. Then, Haldir vanished.
"What is ailing you my Lord," asked Legolas, needy. Upon hearing no reply, he continued, "My liege. My King. My maje... What will become of me when I linger in this bitter and cold place."
"Silence!" came Aragorn. "Speak not whilst I am in garden of pleasure."
"That's no garden you're in, if you beg me pardon for saying so," said Sam.
Then he also vanished. Frodo became greatly distracted at the loss of his...
ahem, little hobbit. He was unable to stop himself from vanishing like so many
before and after him.
"Ah."
......
Long silence ensued while Strider and those who has escaped vanishing had a silent moment in memoriam Samwise Gamgee. After an eyeblick he continued with heavy tones,
"Legolas, Samwise once told me, 'The elves are sad and gay.' Is that true?"
"Ai! ai! a moment of truth is come!" weiled Legolas. In his anguish, he took one false step and fell into the arms of Aragorn, who in turn, fell at the sudden weight in his muscular yet travel-worn arms. Little elves rushed to their aid making cute ejaculations while at it. After settling the two in more... comfortable... position the little elves went to a closet.
"Legolas," said Aragorn.
"Yes, maje," replied the said Legolas.
"You're on me."
"Always."
"No, I mean, you're on me. Get off me!"
"Yes, maje," replied Legolas and rolled over Aragorn and edge of the staircase of the hall. His unfortunate momentum was stopped by Sam, who had appeared right in time of his horrible death. Aragorn paid no attention to the noise coming from far below.
"Hoom hoom," he said, dissatisfied.

Epilogue
Once again in Rivendell, Aragorn headed to his room to rest from the weary journey. He opened his wardrobe for some fresh clothes, and discovered a huge amount of merry little elves taking residence there. Annoyed beyond reason, he threw them all out of the glassless window and in his adrenaline rush he never noticed how Merry and Pippin went with the gay elflings.
Aragorn went himself to the closet and closed the door tighly. Never again was Aragorn seen in the world of living.
