Your hands shake, it's undeniable and you finally surrender to it. But you don't understand it, you don't think you ever will, so you just except it. It's not like you to give in though, so why do you? Is it for some reason no one can know, a secret, or perhaps there is no reason at all, just the feel of his skin on yours.

But this can't be good, because it's forbidden, written in a book somewhere: Thou shall not love a man when you yourself are one, Thou will not love him with the same love that should be granted to a women. Thou shall not enjoy the feel of thy enemy kissing you, doing sinful things in the night; Thou shall not yarn for evil mortal flesh.

So you convince yourself that his pale hair is angel silver, a halo glowing atop his head. That his pale mark less skin is unearthly, his eyes the gray of knowledge. He isn't a mortal to you, anymore, so you're allowed to whisper his name into his neck as you come, mind blown apart by ecstasy.

Yet you must keep him secret, what you two are together when it is just you cannot be out there in the open. You want to keep him secret, so that he's yours and only yours, because you're selfish, and that's wrong too.

But when he smiles, you forget all the evils you're doing, the wrongs you're creating. You find yourself lost and confused, again, so you think maybe we shouldn't do this, but then his lips encase yours, and you forget, again.

You've gotten yourself stuck in a circle of wrong and right. You're doing the wrong while wanting to do the right. You want to be accepted, he isn't acceptable. You wonder what would happen if you told, would there be chaos, because there would be disgust, loathing. You would be exiled. Would he deny you himself, deceiving you, or would he join you in exile turning away from family, friends, the world he knew. So it's a game of risk you play, a game will or won't, should and shouldn't, want and wouldn't.

You've asked all the questions, not knowing all the answers, ask yourself one more. Will you take the risk, or hide like a hermit?

Will you listen... thou shall not?

Will thou fall from grace?

...Thou will?
