Hello peeps!! VG here!! This is my first one shot thing. I just wanna know
if I should write in this way cuz my other story, Forgotten Memories, was
really cruddy. Well, here goes!!
Yugi was sitting at his desk, doing regular homework from a regular school on a regular day. Boring. His life was boring!! Unless you counted that weird puzzle he never finished. That was probably the only weird thing about him. (A/N: I do not count his freaky hair!!).
"Yugi, what seems to be the matter?" Yugi's grandfather, Solomon Mutou said from the doorway.
"Hn? Nothing grandpa! I'm okay," Yugi said.
His grandpa left, and Yugi continued to sulk. "Aw, heck! I'll do my homework later.where is my puzzle..ah! Here it is!!" Yugi thought to himself.
He took out the puzzle, and spread the pieces on his Algebra book. As he started to piece the puzzle together he stopped.
"GAH!! I keep getting stuck at this part! What-oh! Look, this goes there.an' this is half of this so then this would fit there so.aha!! I get it now!!" Yugi was practically gibbering to himself because he had gotten past his slump.when he hit another one.
"NOOO!! I almost had it!! STUPID ALGEBRA!!" Yugi said angrily, punching his textbook. He put the puzzle away, and finished his homework.
"Stupid bed." Yugi fumed. He was so angry that he probably messed up his homework but he did not give a crud at the moment.
He flumped on his bed and glared around at everything.
"Pharaoh! Your attempts are futile!! Give up now, while you still can!!" A man that looked strangely familiar said. He was dressed in a flowing cloak, with gold on the shoulders. "I will never give in, you fool! Why in the name of Ra would you do this?" Yugi heard himself say. He sounded different. "For I wish to take the power of the Pharaoh and use it for my own ends!" The first man said. "And these ends would be.?" Yugi asked. "You have only used the shadow powers for the well being of our city! Why, I ask you! We could rule the world with it! But you continue to be soft, Pharaoh," The man hissed. "You know that this Shadow game will only end in a draw, just as the others did. I cannot allow you to jeopardize not only Egypt, but the world," Yugi said. He felt himself raise his arms. "Wait, what are you doing?! No! Stop! NOOOO!!" The man said as he lunged for something silvery that was materializing in the middle of the stone arena. It took shape into seven gold items. Suddenly, a weird light flowed into them. Yugi heard himself chanting softly under his breath. He felt a sinking feeling.and all was black. "ARRRRGH!!!!" Yugi sat straight up in bed, and whipped his head around, looking for the man, the arena, and the seven gold things. "I-It was just a freaky dream.whoa.OH GOD, I'M GONNA BE LATE!!" Yugi said, completely forgetting about the dream he just had. He had fallen asleep in his clothes, so all he had to do was gather his school stuff.then he noticed the half-finished puzzle. "Oh.I'll work on it later.hey wait." he thought as he peered at it strangely. He took it in his hands, and subconsciously fitted a piece into the puzzle. "How could I have not seen it.GAH!! I really gotta go! I'll finish it later," he said. The puzzle was put back into the box, and onto a shelf. One piece, with an eye engraved onto it, glinted as Yugi shot out the door.
So how was it? Cheesy? Dumb? Good? Vague? Interesting? TELL ME!! Ja ne!!
