WARNING: This is not only femslash, which means girls on girls, it is twincest, which means twins on twins. Anyone who keeps reading and flames me for any resulting squickage gets flamed back.
"Camryn, what are you doing?"
"What does it look like I'm doing, Alexandra?"
"What's with the sudden fascination with my neck?"
"Put your necklace on."
Alex grabbed her moon necklace off the bedside table the twins shared and fastened it around her neck. Cam grabbed hers from it's place next to the first, and fastened that around her neck. Cam bit her lip and smiled playfully at her twin. Alex, in spite of herself, mirrored it. Cam's lips met her own, and she reponded eagerly. Cam's hands slid down to her wrists, pinning them on either side of her head. Oh, well that certainly wouldn't do. Spirit blue and spirit red, I call you now to move Cam's bed. The bedside table flew out of the way, and Cam's bed moved two feet to come up against Alex's. Alex rolled enough to dump Cam off her and take away control, then continued rolling, so that they ended up on Cam's bed, Alex in control. Her necklace hung down and Cam's hovered, the two neclaces attracted. There was a flash and a momnt of heat, and the necklaces were meshed, increasing their bond and allowing their emotions to flow through their link. The twins reveled in the feel, tongues and lips and mouths still dueling, in a frantic race to each make the other twin break first, and, on matching whims, each girl listed everything in her mind she felt from her twin.
Love, both platonic and not. Annoyance. Want. Awe at each other's power, and their power together. Happiness. Fear.
Both were startled back to the present when someone knocked on the door. Alex quickly got off her twin, flung a hand at Cam's bed to move it back, and grabbed up the book she'd been reading when Cam had attacked her. Cam scrambled off her bed just before she fell off, ran to her desk where she'd been when she'd suddenly gotten the hots for her sister, whispered a quick spell she had thought up long ago to fix her and Alex's hair and clothes (rumpled in the midst of their kiss), and flung her hand at the bedside table, moving it back into place. Both noticed a little too late that, in their haste to pull apart, both of the chains of their necklaces had snapped and the necklaces lay on the ground, still fused. Alex scopped them up and hid them in her fist just as Emily walked into the room and said something about dinner. Both girls nodded and said they'd be down in a minute, and Emily was about to leave when something caught her eye.
"Alex, what happened to your lipstick? It's smeared across your face!"
Not waiting for a response, she left, and Alex glared at Cam. Cam gave a furtive little smile. Alex glared some more and grabbed a tissue, wiping her mouth and face clean. But Cam waited for her before opening the door, and so Alex grabbed her twin's hand on the way out, and the two hands remained clasped until just before their owners entered the dining room. Because even after all the smeared lipstick and makeout sessions, they did have a desire to keep it secret and safe, just like their necklaces and their powers. Alex would unfuse the necklaces after dinner, and Cam would fix the chains, but for the moment, they would remain broken and fused, a symbol of opposites, a symbol of power, a symbol of union, and, most of all, a symbol of love.
