~Batoussai~
Demons twist and haunt the soul
Memory the burning coal,
Thoughts are plagued by raining blood
Drowning in the crimson flood,
Tainted hands of many souls
To appease the peoples goals,
For the greater good the say
This revolution is the only way;
Let them wield the sword this time
Feel the weight, the blade so fine,
Plunge the tip within the flesh
Hear the rip and screams that mesh;
Forever victim to the sight
Burned within my dreams each night;
To vanish like the morning dew
And be forgotten like it too,
But to atone for all my sins
Drag through life these dàmned limbs
Don the mask of carefree joys
And to hold a helping poise
Smiles and laughter thrown like grain
None suspect that I have slain;
Living like an empty shell
I wait here only for the bell,
My calling to eternal rest
Where my memories don't flaunt and jest,
An endless darkness I await
These yearnings to belong satiate;
The spring for me will come quite late
Oh the twisted irony of fate!
A/N: Another poem that was written that reminded me of Kenshin before he
met Kaoru and part of my Intensive Sleep Deprivation Program, anywho I hope
you liked it please review! It'll make my day so much brighter, Arigatou
