Return ~ By Crimson Sun
Trust is dying, winter thriving
Who can trust one built of lies?
See me as I glide on water
Snaking through your taintless eyes
Who should come and right my wrongness
Who should break and leave and tell?
Instead, go on as you please and
Feed the flames that burn my hell
~
Love is falling, spring is calling
Who can love one built of hate?
See me as I rise to power
Shake the bases of your fate
Who should cry and claim me evil
Who should stay here by my side?
Instead, go on as you wish and
Try to concur my spring tide
~
Forgiveness wanes and summer rains
Who forgives one damned for life?
See me as I kill the guiltless
Your child, your kin and your wife
Who should go without returning
Who should come because of fear?
Instead, go on as you may and
Hold onto my sun's white glare
~
Friendship fades like autumn days
Who befriends one who won't share?
See me as I group my army
You are too scared not to care
Who should join the fight for pureness
Who should live and who should die?
Instead, go on as you like and
Keep my leaves to fill the sky
~
Seasons arrive and go by
Who denies me and my reign?
See me, hear me, know me, fear me
With the seasons, I'm here again
You can't turn a blind eye to me
You aren't safe inside your home
Instead, go on, cower from me
The Dark Lord is now free to roam
~
AN: My first Harry Potter poem. This is about the return of Voldemort, and
I am not happy with the title at all. Other than that, I think this poem is
one of my better ones.
