Notes: For Hartmon Halloween - I Need To Warm Up

Chill in the Night

Cisco doesn't know why he's awake at first. It takes a few minutes for the real world to filter in and he wants to stay in the warmth of the heavy covers and Hartley's embrace. But he woke up for a reason and that reason was apparently a great need to visit the bathroom.

He grumbles to himself as he gets out of bed and gently strokes Hartley's hair to keep him from waking too. Cisco sits there for a moment, enjoying the soft feeling of Hartley's hair under his fingers.

But that bathroom is really calling to him.

So Cisco finally got off the bed entirely and headed to the bathroom. He had intended to wear his slippers, but they were too far away from the bed and he really needed to use the toilet. So his feet had to touch the cold, cold tile floor. Normally they'd have at least some safe places to walk on, but the floor mats had been ruined by a recent plumbing issue when the sink backed up and draino water ended up all over the bathroom floor. They planned to replace them on the weekend, but for now?

For now Cisco's feet apparently had to suffer.

He really wished they had in floor heating.

Cisco finished up his business, washed up his hands, and headed back to bed.

"Cold," Hartley grumbled, shying away as Cisco slipped back under the covers. A sleepy eye blinked open at Cisco accusingly.

"I need to warm up," Cisco murmured, snuggling closer anyway. "Warm me up?"

Hartley sighed and relented, nuzzling close. "Love you," he murmured, wrapping his arms back around Cisco and spooning against his back.

Cisco smiled softly. "I love you too, Hart."
