A/N: I have been waiting to rewrite this story so hard! Like, I felt it wasn't quite up to my standard. So, here we go, the first chapter of the rewrite to Rock N Roll Dream! I hope you like it, and let me know what you think in the reviews!

Kingsley World Arena was a concert hall in downtown sunny L.A. This is where so many ballets, musicals, and bands have played. It had been closed for years due to the "incident", an incident that involved a suicide by hanging and a scandal of the utmost priority. It was on everyone's lips at the time. A young rising star cut down in the better years of her life, Lindsay Hughes, a pretty little lady with brown hair and blue eyes. Nobody quite knows what drove the young beauty to commit the suicide. Some have speculated that it was her sleazy producer boyfriend who promised her the lead in the newest musical, but snubbed her for another chorus line girl. After all, he had quite the reputation of being a womanizer, and a smooth-talker. There was also a rumor going around that she was pregnant with the producer's kid and he threatened to ruin her life if she didn't "get rid of" the little problem. Whatever the reason, the stage manager wasn't planning on finding a hanging body from the rafters. He wasn't planning on having to contact and console a grieving mother. The cast and crew looked on as the body was gently cut loose and lowered, and taken away, and the theater was soon shut down "pending investigation".

This was the first year the world arena was opened again, and the band Lock N Loaded was taking full advantage of it. This was their final concert in a final world tour, after which they would soon retire. Roger Miller stood at the microphone, doing a sound check, as he held his black Gibson Les Paul. Feedback came back and he held his ears as it echoed loudly. "Dammit Danny, if you're trying to blow out my eardrums you're doing one hell of a job," he said, shaking his head. Danny held up a finger and lowered the volume, getting an okay symbol from Roger. "Test, test, test. 1,2,3," came his words through the mic and it worked. There was no feedback. It was "Perfect." He strummed a few notes on his guitar, and sang a few bars. He never noticed the spirit of Lindsay popping up behind him. She looked angry, about as angry as a ghost with a grudge could be. When the crew screamed, Roger turned around and came face-to-face with the spectre but didn't have time to scream before she grabbed him and disappeared with him in front of everyone's eyes. Danny, who up until that point had been frozen with fear, ran out to the center of the stage to see where he had gone, but Roger, like the ghost was gone.

"Roger," he said, softly, shaking his head and getting a bit teary-eyed. "Where have you gone?"

Meanwhile, in just a state over, Dean and Sam Winchester were asleep, as Dean's phone rings. Dean groaned and sat up, grabbing his phone, fairly groggy from the lack of sleep. He checked the Caller ID and saw that it was Bobby and he answered it. "Bobby, do you know what time it is?" he asked, rubbing his eyes and letting out a yawn. "I was having a great dream about a Playboy Bunny and we were-" he was soon cut off when Bobby mentioned something about the news and that they're gonna want to see it. "Okay, okay, Bobby slow down." Dean reached for the TV remote and turned it on, seeing a headline about Roger Miller, the lead singer of Lock N Loaded. Dean sat mouth agape. "Bobby, I'm going to have to let you go." And with that he hung up the phone, and continued watching in interest. Vanished into thin air? A woman seen? Kingsley World Arena? That name sounded familiar. Dean stood up and shook Sam awake and he sputtered, wiping the drool from the edge of his mouth. "Sammy, you're never going to believe who's in trouble." Sam just looked at him confused. "Lock N Loaded, only one of the greatest rock bands of our times. Roger Miller was taken from the stage and it looks like it may be-"

"Dean, I'm not chasing a band on the road. I'm going back to sleep," Sam said, covering his head up.

"It sounds like it may be right up our alley. Plus, when am I ever going to get to meet another band?"

Sam looked at Dean who was rocking back and forth like a child. He sighed. "Okay, fine, I guess we can check it out," he said.

Dean yelled enthusiastically. "Thank you, Sammy! You won't regret it!"

"Oh, I think I will," Sam said, rubbing his face.

A/N: So, there we go the first chapter of the Rock & Roll Dream story... Like I said this is a rewrite of my other story of the same name, and I have some plans for the boys... Keep a lookout for the next chapter! It's going to be a doozy!
