Chapter 4- The Quizzical Zodiac
(The 6th floor-Library)
Mini Moon and the Quartet went inside of the room where they believe the library is in the building. To their surprise and confusion the library room was dark with no light on to show where they should go. Only the light from outside the hallway shows the ripely water-like floor. They checked to see if their shoes were getting wet but the watery floor was safely behind the tile in a 3D visual appearance. Mini Moon calls out in a whisper. "Do any of you girls know how to get some light in here?"
"Leave it to me Mini Moon!" Sailor Vesta said as she waves her hands in a circular motion, summoning a small torch with a flame glowing in the darkness. "There, now we can see..." Mini Moon and the rest of her team could feel the warmth coming from Vesta's torch, making it feel like she could just sit back and watch the fireplace while drinking hot chocolate. But she had to get back to business on searching for some answers to break Sailor Moon and the rest of the scouts from their prison.
But does she have what it takes? Mini Moon had heard stories from Sailor Moon, Tuxedo Mask and the Sailor Scouts of how they had to face Queen Beryl, and Galaxia, while she experienced fighting against the Death Busters, and the Dead Moon Circus Amazons. She got used as a puppet by the Black Moon Clan as Wicked Lady and she secretly hoped to not have something like that happen again. Honestly, those villains were bad enough in her book! Now there are ancient ghosts who were inspirations of the Zodiac signs and they are looking to cause some trouble to not only planet Earth but quite possibly to the other planets too if given the chance. What if her mission was a failure and she missed them as they fly off away from Earth? She could never forgive herself if that happened. She needs to make sure that her future parents and the rest of the Sailor Scouts are restored to their former selves. But how can she properly exorcise the ghosts out of the Scouts? And if they can't find anything useful, will she be forced to kill them? Mini Moon shakes her head to snap out of her doubts. She has to be brave for Sailor Moon and her family! They had to be brave when facing her down when she was Wicked Lady, she would do the same for them!
Mini Moon stops walking as she sees something off about the room they were in. "Uh, are you girls sure that this room is suppose to be the library? It looks like a game room in here." The Quartet took notice of the room and immediately notice that something about the library was not right. Where there are suppose to be complete rows of shelves from wall to wall, there were three bright silver platforms in the middle of the library. On those platforms there were buttons to press on each of them. And up on the ceiling, hanging above the platforms there was three big nets full of books.
"Let me see if these buttons react to anything in the library." Sailor Ceres walks up to the middle platform and clicks on the button. As soon as she clicks it, the lights clicked on, shining brightly on the platforms and some TV game show music comes on in the background.
A new platform appears from above the ceiling coming down to join the other platforms and on that stand is Sailor Uranus. Mini Moon cocks her eyebrows in confusion, wondering if that was really her or not. Sailor Uranus never has good taste in dresses, she always went for the boy clothing whenever she was a civilian. The silver and light blue jewelry headwear was around her head. Some light blue jewels on the straps of her light blue silver dress. On her right foot by her silver sandals was a water pitcher balancing on the flat bottom end.
Sailor Uranus clears her throat, a male voice is heard over the deep female voice, old and wise like an owl. "I see I have some contestants to join me in my quiz game. I believe I have with me the citizens of the asteroids and- Ack! Why do you have a Moon child with you?!" Uranus notices Mini Moon and makes a disgusted face like she has seen a horrible food dish that had mold on it.
Sailor Ceres bravely tells Sailor Uranus on the sidelines with authority. "I believe Mini Moon is just fine where she is. If you have a problem with her, do it privately where she won't hear you. Do you still go by the title of Knowledgeable Zodiac?" For a split moment, Mini Moon was impressed that Ceres took on the leader roll in standing up to the ghost. She is taking the role of an apprentice of Venus seriously and she feels that Sailor Venus would be proud to have someone like Ceres as her apprentice.
Sailor Uranus huffed in annoyance, though Mini Moon could tell that there was a hidden malicious intent in the ghost's gaze. There was something about that gaze that spoke of anger at being chastised by a child that didn't sit well with Mini Moon, almost making her feel like the spirit has a head full of hot air. "That certainly hasn't changed in all the years I have roamed in the great libraries of the Uranus Kingdom!" The spirit acted very proudly of where he came from, like he believes that he is number one and everyone else is number two. "Would there be any other curious questions you would like to ask before we begin our game?"
Mini Moon raises her right hand and bluntly says, "Did you fail to find Sailor Uranus some trousers and a shirt?" She bursts out laughing and Sailor Pallas joins her by laughing at him. Juno rolls her eyes at how childish Mini Moon is at the insult.
Sailor Uranus, or the Zodiac possessing her, wasn't amused by what Mini Moon said, in fact, she was livid in rage as she slams her hand down on the podium in front of her. "My vessel doesn't need that insufferable clothing! She is to be a proper lady! Trousers are for men and only men!"
"You guys are definitely not compatible then!" Mini Moon taunts sarcastically with a laugh. This behavior alone made her get slapped in the head by a long wooden stick Uranus brought out from the other side of the podium. "Ow!" She moves her hands to shield her head from any more hits, rubbing the sore spot next to her right bunny ear shaped hair bun.
"This is why I don't teach children of the Moon Kingdom anymore because of their know-it-all and crybaby attitude!" Uranus, or Aquarius, grumbles in annoyance, swinging the stick in her hand ready to pummel the child again if she dares to interrupt.
"Then why not take it outside and fight me! I have dealt with the Death Busters and the Dead Moon Circus so I can handle you big time Mr. I-won't-dress-my-girl-with-whatever-she-likes!" Mini Moon goads before Juno covers her mouth to keep her from ruining their chances of getting close to their first target. Sailor Juno shakes her head sternly at Mini Moon's silent glare.
Aquarius sighs and shakes Uranus' head like a teacher who is getting tired of the disruptive student for the fifth time in one day. "I'd rather fight with my brain instead of fists young lady, how about we do a quiz fight? Fighting for knowledge is much more entertaining than physical brawling. Now I presume that the other young lady in pink is going to participate in my quiz game right?" He gestures toward Sailor Ceres, questioning whether she is going to play his game or not. To which Ceres silently nods her head, earning a satisfied smile from the Zodiac. "Then allow me to get our two other contestants ready to play our game! It won't take long, I assure you." He presses a button on his platform which causes the other two platform to turn around in a 360 degree spin. First there was no one on the two platforms sandwiching Ceres in the middle, then the next moment two people were stuck near the platforms.
Juno gasps in shock as she recognizes two of the contestants who look like they got dragged into this mess and were not amused at whatever Aquarius was pulling. "Uh... Why is my mentor and Pallas' mentor doing here?" Juno is more used to seeing her mentor in the green but seeing her in dark blue is unusual. She could see the blue sandals, the light blue capris and the dark blue suit covering Jupiter's chest. She even had dark blue gloves reaching to her elbows and her fingers and palms are open showing the top of the gloves are attached to Jupiter's pointer fingers. The blue fingernails looked unnatural on her and the one other thing that irked Juno is that Jupiter has her face covered deep inside of a dark blue cloak. Despite not seeing much of her face, Jupiter's eyes glowed blue and they were glaring at Sailor Uranus; whether in anger, or in boredom is unclear, but Juno believes that Jupiter acts like she wants to murder Sailor Uranus where she stands. She was clutching tightly to a bow and arrow in her left hand, making Juno's eyes grow wide and making a note in her head to be careful with the Hunter Zodiac. But there was a little chain bracelet on her mentors leg attached to the platform.
Pallas comments, "Woah! Where can Pallas find such a cute dress that Sailor Mercury has! It looks so shiny!" She earned a shove on the shoulder from Vesta, silently telling her to be quiet. Mercury's looks were changed and Mini Moon doesn't know whether that is for better or worse. Mixtures of yellow and green are in her short hair. Her yellow dress also had two layers underneath where you can see her feet, going from yellow to green and finally to brown. Two green ribbons are on the dress shoulder straps and two green wrist straps are seen on Mercury's elbows with no gloves in sight. Two head necklaces are on her forehead faintly glowing. Unlike the hunter Zodiac, Mercury didn't have any chain to keep her at the platform, and she is slouching on the platform like she is tired with her right elbow down and cupping her chin.
"How lovely to see you here with us Sagittarius! Gemini! And Virgo!" Aquarius greets, oblivious to the heated glare that the hunter is giving him through his vessel.
"Exactly WHY did you bring us here to play your game Aqua? You know that we can't focus on your reading when we have many other things to do..." Mercury's bored voice sounded chilling to Mini Moon and the Quartet. It sounded like two voices; male and female, were speaking as one almost like a robot. Although as they think about it, Gemini the Zodiac symbol is associated with two people so it would make sense for her to sound like that. But it was still disturbing all the same.
Before Vesta could ask where exactly is the other Zodiac Aquarius is talking about, Mercury's eyes blinked a few times showing the yellow eyes changing to beige and grey. Then if that wasn't odd enough, the robotic voice of Gemini switched to a more serene voice, like the coo of a dove. Mercury acted like she wanted to get out of the predicament she was in but didn't want to be rude based on her looking from the net above her and at Aquarius. "If you don't mind Aquarius, I would very much prefer if you let me and my vessel go back outside where she won't get hurt by your... insane game of knowledge." The voice that seems to belong to Virgo gestured to the door, pointing Mercury's hand to it across from the stage. Mini Moon doesn't know whether she should faint from shock at Sailor Mercury being possessed by two separate spirits or scream in horror. She has more work cut out for her than she thought! But the question for her was who to go after first?
Not Sailor Jupiter, for Mini Moon doesn't want to get shot again like last time. She will need Sailor Juno's help for that. Sailor Mercury? Well, she doesn't really know how Gemini and Virgo work, so she will need to gather more knowledge about them in order to get around their tricks. Which means she needs to find out how to get around Aquarius.
Aquarius shakes his head, making Sailor Uranus follow exactly the same body movements he makes. "You may stay out of the game if you wish Virgo, but I think Gemini wants in on the fun. As long as they answer the questions I give, then your host will be safe from harm. But to make the game more interesting, if Sagittarius loses he will have to show his face underneath his hood." Aquarius looks at Sailor Jupiter, grinning slyly like he thought he got what he was looking for.
At that suggestion, Jupiter scowls at Aquarius, practically hissing in retaliation like a rattlesnake warning him with its tail. The voice coming out of her was quiet and veiled with a threatening aura. "I would rather skin you alive like a pheasant than give you what you want you overgrown piece of maple tree!" Mini Moon silently wondered whether Aquarius was threatened by that statement the hunter made. Aquarius doesn't seem to be too worried about it based on his smile, which means he heard that threat before a long time ago. She wondered whether the hunter would do her a favor and knock Uranus off her feet, but decides against it for she didn't want to be on the attempted murder list by the hunter again. At least not yet.
"Don't be so touchy about it Sagittarius!" Aquarius tries to calm the hunter spirit down. "All I just want is for you to reveal your face to me if you lose in my game. If you win, I might let you go... And by your face, I mean your real face, not your vessels pretty face."
The spirit of Sagittarius sneers in response, making Sailor Jupiter look scary while having her hood on. Her blue eyes seem to be glowing like flames underneath the dark hood. "You and I both know that you will never let this go! I should have just gotten rid of you before your royal family put an end to you!"
'Woah! Sagittarius doesn't really like Aquarius.' Mini Moon thought to herself and looks around the library, wondering if she should scram before a bloodbath gets underway before the game even begins.
"Now shall we begin in our game?" Aquarius takes out some flashcards and shuffles them up. "First question... What is the meaning behind the word 'Zodiac' in Ancient Greek? A. Circle of animals? B. Circle of stars? Or C. Circle of Life?" He narrows his eyes in confusion over the last answer and mumbles under his breath. "What is it with the humans and their obsession with Circle of Life? Humans and their love of lions and kings..."
Ceres quickly presses the button to say the answer. "A. Circle of animals." Aquarius gives a thumbs up and says its correct as Gemini looks at Ceres in boredom.
"Psst! Hey, girls!" Vesta whispers quietly so that Aquarius doesn't hear her talking to Mini Moon and the rest of the team. "Maybe while Sailor Ceres distracts Aquarius, we should sneak around the library and find some clues on getting Sailor Uranus free from her possession."
Mini Moon nods in agreement, giving her a thumbs up response and quietly tiptoes away from the game the Zodiacs are in. Sailor Juno volunteers to remain behind to give Ceres the support she needs as Vesta, Pallas and Mini Moon sneaks away from the game to look for some clues.
While in the labyrinth of bookshelves Mini Moon carefully looks over each genre of books that are listed: Classics, Mystery, Adventure, Action, Fantasy, Historical Fiction, Horror, Literary Fiction, Romance, Sci-Fi, Thrillers, Biographies, Short Stories, Memoirs, Cookbooks, Poetry, Self Help. Which one of those shelves would help her out in freeing someone from the possession of a ghost? She passes on some of the genres for they wouldn't be of any help. She has to find something that deals with ghosts. But the problem would be on where to start. "See if you girls can find any books that deal with exorcisms or anything that will help us on how to deal with Aquarius." She points out to her team members. They split up to check out the shelves. Sailor Vesta found one of the books about ghosts easily while Sailor Pallas was distracted a bit by the picture books.
"Hey Mini Moon!" Vesta whispers and gestures for her to come see what she was reading. "I think I found something about Aquarius." Mini Moon comes over to see what Vesta wants her to know. The book was silver with a light blue coloring of the Zodiac symbol on it. "This seems book seems to act like an obituary instead of a regular book. I think the Royal Family of the Uranus Kingdom must have made this book. It says here that Aquarius was once one of the Uranus Kingdoms best academically known tutors. Not much is known about his childhood, but he gained the attention of the Uranus Royal Family for his teaching skills and recruited him to teach the children of the Royal Family, not just the princes and princesses but also the guards children and the advisors as well. Despite being known for his knowledge, he has been shown to have a bad temper and prejudice against people who come from another planet that is not Uranus. According to the advisors from the Royal Family, they never suspected that Aquarius would go behind their backs and try to spread false accusations about the other planets and claim that they are not good enough to be associated with."
"Okay so he seems to be stingy enough that he wants people to stay away from the other planets. Why would that be important?" Mini Moon asks, cocking her eyebrow in confusion.
"No one knows why he thought that was a good idea according to what the guards accounts say, someone mentioned that he thought it would be a good idea because a kid from another planet claims that he or she is more smarter than Aquarius which caused his ego to flare up.
But when one of the guards got a whiff of Aquarius' plan to separate the Royal Family from the rest of the Solar System council, they investigated Aquarius' room while he was busy tutoring and found that he was going to exile the Royal Family's contact with the rest of the Royal Family's in the Solar System by using gossip about how bad which planet is at in anything. When the Royal Family got a hold of this information, they decided that Aquarius had to be taught a lesson about spreading false accusations and causing deception, so the guards went into his room, spread oil around the library, bed, and anywhere else, and watched at a distance as Aquarius went to his room and they locked the door on him. Next before Aquarius could recognize what was going on, one of the guards got a fire match and threw it in his room underneath the door, and he was burned to death. The only thing that survived the burning was the water pitcher which the Uranus Royal Family decides to use to seal Aquarius' soul inside and lock it away in the temple to prevent him from causing anymore trouble with him looking down on the other planets thinking they are not worthy to be up to his standards."
Mini Moon turns to look at the water pitcher that is being held up by Sailor Uranus' right foot that she is using like a table for it. Could that be the same one that Vesta mentioned in the book? "Does it say anything about how to get rid of the spirit?"
Vesta shakes her head and says, "There isn't any." Mini Moon grumbles to herself as she needs to try to find another way to get around that spirit so that Sailor Uranus can be free from her prison.
"Okay, um... Do any of the books have something to say about the other spirits like Gemini, Sagittarius and Virgo?" Mini Moon tries to find any other information she can use to her and her teams advantage. She may as well indulge herself on finding out how the other Zodiacs work and use their weaknesses to her advantage, right?
Sailor Pallas answers her by accidentally slapping two books to Mini Moon's face. "Oops! Sorry Mini Moon! I found something on the hunter Zodiac and the Twin Zodiac. But there is no book that has anything to say on the Disappointed Zodiac."
Mini Moon looks at Sailor Pallas, not impressed that she accidentally got slapped in the face with the books, but she tries to let it slide and takes the books from her teammates hands. "I'll start researching about the Twin Zodiacs and you look through and see if you can find any other books about the Zodiacs obituaries. Okay?"
"Okie dokie! Pallas will find what Mini Moon needs to know!" Sailor Pallas beams in excitement as she goes searching for nine more books about the Zodiacs.
"Pallas we seriously need to keep working on you not talking in third person." Vesta said, rather like an older sister who is tired of the same old speech tactics that her younger sister is doing.
Before Mini Moon could open up to the book about Sagittarius, she overhears Aquarius calling out from the game Ceres is playing. "And that is the end of Round 1 for my quiz game! Let's see what the final scores are for Sagittarius, shall we?" He presses a button to open up a small score board on each of the platforms that the contestants are standing behind. Mini Moon and Vesta pause in looking through the books to take a peek around the bookshelf. The score on Sagittarius platform appeared to Aquarius almost immediately. "40. That is good my hunter, but do you think you can avoid what your opponents other scores are? Next up Gemini's..." The score under Gemini reveals itself after a couple of processing beeps. "11."
"WHAT!?" Gemini shouts in outrage while Sagittarius covers his mouth to keep from laughing. Mini Moon thought that the hunter seems to enjoy seeing others miss their target.
"And finally Ceres..." Aquarius says as he prepares himself to see the score the light pink Sailor Scout has.
Vesta shivers right beside Mini Moon while Juno could be heard praying to herself, "Please don't be on the bottom Ceres!"
The button got pressed and the score acted like it was in a loading state like a computer trying to download a new game. But after about twenty two seconds the score came on, making Vesta and Mini Moon gasp in shock. Gemini looks at the score in confusion. Juno sighs in relief. Aquarius steps back a step in surprise as he questions, "Huh?"
"Hah!" Ceres says in excitement as her score read 51. Higher than Sagittarius and Gemini.
Aquarius just stares at the score with wide eyes as he says, "Well I be swimming with the fishes! Disappointingly it looks like Sagittarius is still in the game along with Ceres in the lead." Mini Moon and Vesta see Aquarius shaking Sailor Uranus' head when she looks at Sailor Mercury. "And it looks like my chaotic sibling Gemini's memory game is as attentive as a goldfish!"
Gemini comments tauntingly at their brother while giving a don't care attitude about losing the game. "You have been doing this game for centuries and you need to come up with better questions and answers that are worth our time."
Aquarius huffs at Gemini's insult. "You should have never experimented on yourself to have two people merged into one, yet as inconsistent as someone who controls air, I am disappointed that you keep changing your mind at all times. No wonder you blew yourself up on your death!"
"At least I don't keep something as obvious as flammable books to keep you from being burned alive." Gemini taunts with a smug grin on Mercury's face.
Instead of answering back at Gemini, Aquarius presses a button on the podium and the net holding the stack of books on top of Gemini fell down like an avalanche, causing the Twin Zodiac to be buried alive by the books.
Sagittarius could be seen smiling cruelly and chuckling at the Twin Zodiac who was trying to get themselves out from underneath the book pile. "I never liked Gemini's indecisiveness on behaving badly instead of being polite to save themselves the trouble. If only this event would help tone down their chaotic behavior." For he knows that this will only fuel Gemini to think that they can do better than Aquarius could.
"You are not out of the woods yet hunter... You revealing your true face will be mine for the taking!" Aquarius claims as he resets the scores and hides them to keep the two remaining contestants from finding out who will win in the end.
Even though she wants to try to find out more about the Zodiacs and how to deal with them, Mini Moon can't help but feel that if she doesn't act now in trying to free Sailor Uranus, there might not be another time to find the solution to the problem of exorcising the ghosts.
But as she thinks to herself while watching Gemini finally manage to get out and try to insult Aquarius for dumping the books on them. 'If I want to get the ghosts out of possessing someone, I think I am going to need a priests advice...'
Mini Moon decides to pray on her knees and ask the one person who she knows is a priest in Elysion. "Helios, I need your help in getting rid of the ghosts that haunt this temple. The ghosts of the Zodiacs have taken over the bodies of the Sailor Guardians and they need my help to free them, but I don't know how I can help them. Please give me some kind of clues or advice on what I need to do in order to free the Sailor Scouts from being possessed."
Feeling a bit anxious about hearing anything from her future boyfriend, she crosses her fingers and praying that he will answer her, even if they don't have that orb to communicate with anymore since Queen Nehellenia's defeat, and they haven't had a nice chat since the Dead Moon Circus was no more and how in that time she along with the Sailor Scouts were once brainwashed to be apart of the circus.
What felt like eternity to her, Mini Moon heard Helios' whisper in her ear. Feeling as if his gentle presence is surrounding her in her mind as well as in her dreams. "What you need to search for is the items the ghosts are attached to. Find them and force them to move on to the afterlife by destroying what keeps them locked away." Mini Moon silently nods her head at Helios' answer, feeling at peace with him talking to her and giving her advice.
It was then she remembers in Aquarius' obituary book that his spirit was triggered by the water pitcher. Sailor Uranus must have touched the water pitcher without knowing what it contained. Mini Moon honestly couldn't blame either one of the scouts for thinking that the spirits were not in average ordinary items around the temple. That blame solely lies on the Royal Families, and possibly even Mini Moon's grandmother, for not letting the Scouts know about the danger they would get into and for erasing their memories of their past life so that they don't know. Of course she figures the reason they did that was to protect the Princesses of the Solar System and maybe they were babies at the time the Zodiacs tried to take over the Solar System, Mini Moon wondered if her grandmother even once thought that maybe she couldn't protect her daughter from crossing paths with the Zodiacs hundreds of years into the future, reincarnation or no reincarnation. Did she think that her daughter would be safe away from the Zodiacs reach?
She wondered about how to get the water pitcher from Aquarius without him spotting her taking it. She could only hope that Sailor Ceres will distract him for as long as possible or until the quiz game ends so that she has enough time to sneak around Aquarius and steal the water pitcher. But then she thought of something that she needs to ask Vesta quietly about. "Hey Vesta, if someone else from a different planet like the Moon for instance, can they get possessed by a haunted artifact from another planet like Uranus?"
To Mini Moon's satisfaction, Vesta thinks for a moment by tapping her chin with her right pointer finger before responding. "No. A person from the planet Uranus can get possessed by the haunted artifact but someone from the Moon won't be possessed that easily. I think it has something to do with each sealing spell on the artifact can be released only by someone from that planet they were first sealed away in." So that means she is free to do what she pleases with any of the artifacts, but she made a note to herself in her thoughts that she needs to have someone else help her in getting rid of Leo and Cancer's artifacts. But can it be possible for the spirits to possess two people at the same time? She hopes not!
But now she is curious on how the haunted artifacts work during a possession... Does the haunted artifact like the water pitcher still work even at a great distance? Or can its power wane from being too far away? Will Aquarius be aware of what she is trying to do? Or will he be too obsessed with his game to see it coming before its too late?
From what Mini Moon knows about the Zodiac Aquarius from the guessing games she played with Sailor Moon and the rest of the girls, Aquarius is said to have control over the wind element. Though she can't understand why Aquarius would have wind when its literally named after the water. Though it does make sense that Sailor Uranus is the master of wind attacks. If she is smart, she will need to make a run for it from the sixth floor with the water pitcher and corner Aquarius before he gets a chance to chase after her.
Crouching down on her knees, Mini Moon crawls on the floor army style and slowly creeps up to Aquarius' podium. Despite Vesta trying to stop her in a whisper, Mini Moon was determined to get as close to the water pitcher as possible.
The Zodiac doesn't seem to know anything about Mini Moon slowly sneaking up behind him, but Ceres did by the corner of her eye. She tries to make it convincing as she answers more questions from Aquarius. Unfortunately it appears Sagittarius was watching as he grips his bow and arrow, moving it as if getting ready for a deer that just crossed his path.
Just as Mini Moon thought she was close enough to reach for the water pitcher close by to Sailor Uranus' foot, Sagittarius raises his bow and arrow and shoots, aiming for the girls hand.
Mini Moon was watching Sagittarius closely while she was crawling and reaching for the water pitcher, and when she saw the hunter take aim toward her, she quickly reels back her hand away from the pitcher as the arrow zooms close by. Thankfully the arrow didn't hit her this time. But unfortunately the arrow struck Aquarius' foot, making the Quizzical Zodiac yelp in pain, stopping his game as he swings his foot up to dislodge the arrow from his ankle. Talk about an Achilles Heel! The water pitcher moved with the foot as Aquarius balanced it on one side of his sandaled foot.
"Ouch! Sagittarius, what is the meaning of this?! I know you resent me for catching you to do my game, but I thought you would be more honorable by letting me try to find out what you look like underneath the hood!" Aquarius yelps in pain as he doses the bloody wound on the ankle by using some of the water from the pitcher before putting the water pitcher back into position on the flat end of his foot.
"Last I checked I never asked you to find out what I LOOK like!" Sagittarius frowns as he rolls his eyes. It was always a never-ending cycle of torture for the hunter to have a once proud tutor of Uranus obsessively trying to find out what he looked like under the hood. Even if he told him he will never find out it doesn't stop the tutor from trying to corner him and let him see. "Go stick your head back in those books and leave your fascination with this mystery behind! I told you that for centuries!"
While they were arguing, Mini Moon took this as her chance to steal the water pitcher, first by tipping the pitcher so that the water is all out and then runs with it in her arms. "Give that back! That doesn't belong to you!" Aquarius screams as he turns to see Mini Moon running with the water pitcher to the door.
" How pathetic coming from you since Sailor Uranus doesn't belong to you either!" Mini Moon shouts as she goads Aquarius. "If you want the water pitcher that badly, you better let Sailor Uranus go right now!"
Something snapped with Aquarius as he makes Sailor Uranus fly in full speed toward Mini Moon. She noticed that he is a bit slow with using the wind for his speed as she takes one more look at the Quartet before she runs down the stairs while Aquarius gave chase. Strangely she thought she saw Sagittarius burning the chain from around his feet and giving her a knowing smile.
Running all the way down to the first floor Mini Moon then tries to figure out what she can use to shatter the water pitcher. That was until she felt a little puff of air that was trying to make her fall flat on her face, but she caught it and stayed firm as Aquarius was coming down the end of the stairs.
"Give that back now moon child!" Aquarius growls as he musters up some wind in his hands.
"Not before you give back Sailor Uranus!" Mini Moon grips her hands tightly around the water pitcher.
"I need her to bring back peace and solitude to the Uranus Kingdom without the other planets putting them down!" Aquarius waves his hands as if gesturing that he is doing this for the greater good.
"Uh not to rain on your parade but the kingdoms are no more. There is nothing there for you to rule anymore." Mini Moon states. Now that she thinks about it, perhaps Queen Beryl's betrayal to the Moon Kingdom was actually a blessing in disguise despite the tragedy that happened.
"You lying little sack of moon cheese! That is impossible!" Aquarius proclaims as he swings his hand and unleashes some wind toward Mini Moon's direction, intent on knocking her off her feet.
It was only a little puff of air that didn't make her move an inch. Mini Moon braced for the attack until she felt it was only a tickle instead of it causing her pain.
Mini Moon narrows her eyes suspiciously and mentions. "You are... not much of a fighter are ya?" If she had to pick between fighting with either brains or brawn, she would rather get some good training with brawn. Surprisingly, Aquarius seems to maybe be the easiest out of them.
As if thinking that his attack was not supposed to do that, Aquarius then grabs one of the fans in the living room floor and attempts to blow Mini Moon off of her feet again with that small accessory. "Now I shall discipline you properly..." He laughed for a bit until he accidentally pulls the small fan away from its outlet, making it stop when its power was gone. He stopped laughing as he spots something wrong with it. "I don't understand why that thing is not working like I wanted it too!" Mini Moon doesn't know whether she should laugh at the humorous display or feel sorry for the Zodiac for not understanding how a simple fan needs electricity to make wind.
No, she shouldn't feel sorry for any of the Zodiacs. They decided to possess the Sailor Guardians, so they need to get their exact punishment. So without further ado, Mini Moon readies herself to get in position and swing the water pitcher against the wall as hard as she can. The force of the collision makes some small cracks into the water pitcher while Aquarius screams for her to stop.
Mini Moon strikes the water pitcher again and again, and by the eleventh time she successfully shatters the whole water pitcher, the glass falling down from her gloved hands and messing up the floor.
Sailor Uranus' body starts convulsing in pain and grabbing her head as she makes a terrifying scream, her eyes glowing silvery blue as the light in her eyes vanished. It almost appeared like she was dead, but she spots a symbol on her left hand showing the Uranus symbol and the Aquarius symbol with the waves fading away.
Sailor Uranus collapses on the ground, revealing the spirit of Aquarius right in front of Mini Moon. It was a silvery blue ghost that appeared to be an old man in one of the tutor robes. A long beard and silvery eyes. His face had some hints of wrinkles mostly around his eyes and mouth. He definitely did not have a strong physical body which would explain why he is not very good at fighting in physical fights or magical fights. There also was some hints of burned clothing around him and on his tutor tunic, hinting at what he died from.
Once Sailor Uranus was free from the possession, Mini Moon runs to the Guardian of Wind and Heavens and notices out of the corner of her eye a gold portal coming out from behind Aquarius. Was this a portal to the afterlife Helios told her about?
Aquarius' spirit fights the gravitational pull from the portal as he tries to hang on to the bookshelf. "Curse you moon child! I knew you moon children were troublemakers!" He screeches in vain as he can't fight off the strong gravitational pull of the portal pulling him into the afterlife. He vanishes on the other side for a moment before shooting out his hand toward one of the books on the shelf before the gold portal fades away in the room.
A/N: I hope you enjoyed this chapter. One Zodiac down, 11 to go!
