Hello, everyone! I hope you enjoy this Sailor Moon OC fanfic, as I will writing it.

I'm still new at writing fanfiction, so please forgive if it is a bit janky, so to say.

Anyway. I do not own any of the original Sailor Moon characters! I own my OC, and my OC only!

If you don't like the story, that's fine. This is just an experiment of sorts.

Now that the author notes are out of the way. Pls enjoy.

He didn't know what happened. It was black, like the coldness of space.

"Where am I?" He said to himself.

Confused beyond belief, it made him scared. There was nothing. No ground, no water, no. . . air? If he was in space, there wasn't any stars, planets, moons, galaxies, or nebulas. Plus it would be impossible to be alive, since he wasn't wearing a space suit.

Just pure nothingness.

"Am I dead?" He asked to no one, but the darkness.

As if it somehow heard him, the darkness dispersed. Now he was under water. He could see the sunbeams of an afternoon dawning under the surface of the water.

Quickly realizing that he would die – if he was alive – he began to move towards the surface. Once he broke through however, he was met with a strange sight. Or was it a place?

He stood in a place, where it was twilight over the sky, and neverchanging.

Jagged mountains dawned the distant horizons, and spires rose up from an seemingly infinite sea, some near, and some far. A sea where he stood. He looked down at the waters. It looked deep, but found that when she would walk it was shallow. Like a puddle on a sidewalk. How could that be? He was just under it! The water mirrored his reflection in every detail, some he never noticed about himself.

As if he was the reflection, and the reflection itself was the real him.

He looked at the neverchanging twilight sky, and noticed the moon.

Strange... no stars?

He turned around, and saw two massive twinned curved, and inward horns crafted on the horizon where the sun would be. The sun was low, it's last light radiating the horns with a soft glow.

However there was an object that rested between the horns. It radiated a soft glow like the sun's last light, but it was shaped like a egg. No different than the dwarf planet Haumea's egg shape. Except without a small ring system. It had almost celtic, or egyptian based symbols on it, as it slowly rotated.

Where was he?

Between and betwixt a place. Was this all a dream? He didn't know. He wanted too, but also didn't care. It was peaceful here. Away from the troubles of our world.

He stared at the gem that rested between the horns on the horizon. He began to walk towards, and was intrigued about it. He was cautious however. Being alone, nervous, and reflecting a lot, had left a mark on him.

He stopped a few feet before it. How beautiful it was! Taking one more step, the waters shook, and a wave erupted from the waters before him, splashing him.

He was drenched, but he stood in fear at a creature before him.

It was a dragon! But it had a unique body structure.

It had a long slender legs, and an serpentine body that gave it a graceful appearance, with a long whip-like tail. Moving to the legs, they were long and chicken like. They were slender, but definitely not as skinny as a chicken. Adoring the legs on the shins, knee caps, and thighs, was a set of sliver plated armor adoring the same symbols as the gem.

It's arms were longer than it's legs, with each arm also being adorned in silver plated armor on the forearms, elbows, and shoulders. Each arm ended with a five digit hand, much like a human's, except with clawed ends.

Behind it's serpentine body was something beautiful even among dragons of myth. Making home on it's back were wings, but not the bat-like wings of traditional dragons, no. These wings were large feathered wings that had the same color scheme as a bald eagle.

Going back to the front of it's body, such as the chest, and stomach, was a smooth scaled underbelly, much like a person's in contrast to the rest of it's golden scaled body, with golden green scales. Resembling a snake's top and underbelly.

Moving to the final parts of it's neck and head, it had a neck that resembled a cobra. The flaps on it's neck spread wide out, asserting a dominance the same way as regular cobras do. It's head was somewhat flat. It had a more gremlin-like structure with long ears that stretched outward from the sides of it's head, and a overbite jaw. Alongside the jawline was it's egyptian pharaoh chin piece. Atop it's head were a pair of horns that were basically a miniature copy of the masisve horns of the horizon, except the gem wasn't there.

It was truly an unique and magnificent dragon, that definitely asserted dominion, but had an aura, so to say, that spoke a feeling he was much acustomed to. Alone, always reflecting mentally, and just like him, the dragon was nervous of him. It was like they were the same entity in a way.

"Please, don't hurt me." Said the young man.

The dragon stared down at him. It was standing upright like a human, using it's long tail for balance. Standing over sixty feet tall, and a wingspan twice that. It looked down at the little mortal before it and spoke in a deep, yet soothing voice.

"Now why would I do that to you?" It said.

The young man shrugged nervously. He didn't know what to do, but he didn't want to anger the beast.

"I don't know. . ." He simply said.

The dragon started to go on all fours to he more even with the boy. Even though it was still large. It knew that the closness would comfort the boy. Afterall they were the same entity.

The boy fell down at the sudden movement, and simply sat on the waters. His breathing becoming more nervous.

"It's okay, Hunter Schwab. I will do nothing to hurt you. Afterall we are the same. My name is Vendryne Balys, and I am your other." The dragon, now known as Vendryne Balys, said.

The young man, now known as Hunter Schwab, as still somewhat scared. But the last part: Your other. What did that mean? The young man decided to ask just that.

"What do you mean, my other?" He asked.

Balys smiled warmly. Smiling with it's lips to not show it's teeth.

"I was born from your emotions, and logical perspectives. Basically I was born from your mind. When you were alone, studying, learning, contemplating, sad, and angry, all of that was the egg that birthed me. In other words I'm technically your son, but at the same time I'm you, because we share the same mind and soul. I know it's confusing, but all you need to know is that the main two parts of my being are from your emotions, and reasoning." Explained Balys.

Hunter looked into Balys' pale blue eyes. His eyes. They were the same. Afterall, the eyes are the windows to the soul.

"So. . . my feelings made you? How is that possible?" He asked again.

"Everyone has a devil and angel inside them." Replied Balys. "Including you. I am both your devil and angel, your emotions and reasoning given form. It exists within everyone whether through religion, or philosophy, even science." He continued.

"So where am I?"

"You died."

Hunter cringed at the thought. How? He couldn't remember.

"How?" He asked Balys, again.

'Too many questions!' Thought Vendryne Balys, but even he didn't know.

"I don't know, Hunter." Replied the dragon.

"Is this Heaven, or Hell?"

"Neither. You choose the path you take. This tranquil place represents your desire for peace, and solitude. Just as I represent your feelings, this place represents your deepest, and shallow desires" Said Balys.

"What about reincarnation? What if I what something else?" Said Hunter.

"You can do just that! Here in your very soul, your a god!" Said Balys.

'A. . . god!?'

The young man, and the dragon stood in slience next to each other for a while, while Hunter contemplated.

A thought came into his head. A rather obscure thought but he wanted it.

"I will go into a new world." He said. Vendryne Balys looked at him. "I know. Well, let's get to it. But, we'll need the Spirit-Gem." Said Vendryne.

"What's that?" Asked Hunter.

Vendryne stood back up, and spread his wings, taking flight to the gem that rested between the horns on the horizon.

Without much hesitation, considering he shared Hunter's thoughts he grabbed the gem with his claws. Although "grab" would be a weird assumption considering it merely floated between his fingers. It worked like a grasp without actually touching it.

Carefully however, Balys took the gem and placed it between his own horns that resembled the horns on the horizon.

The two entities that shared a soul, and mind disappeared in a spark of golden light that covered their bodies. Taking them to the place outside of here. Leaving the Plane to itself. The waters gently rippled from the sudden gentle force of the disappearence.

All was slient, but with a world that literally represented peace, tranquility, and aloneness. the Plane itself was content to wherever it's creator gone.

It was night in the beautiful city of Tokyo in Juban District. Five teenaged girls were doing homework, and studying at one of their houses. The house, or shrine belonged to a raven haired, and violent eyed girl named, Rei Hino. She was a beautiful shrine maiden, who had a fiery personality.

Her friends consisted of Makoto Kino, although they all called her, Mako. She was a tough girl, able to kick your ass to the moon if she wanted to, but she was almost the mom of the group. She was also a good cook!

After her was, Ami Mizuno. A naturally shy girl, with a passion for books, knowledge, and doing the best in school. She had an IQ well over 300! Calling her a "nerd" would be an understatement. So smart you couldn't really describe her. Which is why before she met her friends, others at school would treat like a freak. A sad story until she met the next person on this list!

Usagi Tsukino was the happy, bubbly, and always lovable friend! Although she and Rei would argue over each other sometimes because, Usagi wasn't that good at school, a crybaby, and was lazy. Rei was the most protective of her however, even if she didn't show it like that.

Finally was a girl that could really pass as Usagi's twin separated at birth (and maybe they were), Minako Aino. She was basically a clone of Usagi's own personality with some improvements here and there. She was always late for school, much like Usagi, but she was more energetic, and wasn't a crybaby.

Together they were the best of friends, but they had a secret: They were the Sailor Guardians. Protectors of Solar System from any outside threats! Beit from beyond the stars, different timelines, or different dimensions, they were always there to stop evil in the name of the Moon, and of Justice and Love.

On this day however, everything was quiet. The group studied in relative silence, mostly because they focused on their homework, while one of them was sleeping.

Rei, was annoyed that Usagi was sleeping, but the peaceful silence was too peaceful, so she didn't bother waking her up. Plus, she didn't want to deal with Usagi's whining if sue did wake her up. However something cuaght her attention. She sensed something powerful approaching the shrine, and fast!

"Guys! Somethings going to happen!"

Interrupting the peace, the rest of the senshi, looked at her. Minako went over to Usagi's sleeping form, and shook her awake. Usagi, became startled, sat up and began to whine.

"What's going on!? I was having a really good dream!" She cried.

"Quiet! Somethings approaching!" Said Rei, sternly.

That caught Usagi's attention, and everyone stood up, pulling out their transformation pens, readying them for use.

Rei concentrated on the aura, and using her rather spiritual abilities as a priestess she found that it was going to the park.

'Why is it always the park!?' Thought Rei.

After informing her comrades, they transformed into the sailor senshi.

Rei was Sailor Mars, Makoto was Sailor Jupiter, Ami was Sailor Mercury, Minako was Sailor Venus, and Usagi was Sailor Moon.

Together they made their way towards the park, and stared towards the sky. A creature was falling from the sky. The senshi braced themselves for impact when suddenly, the shape unfurled itself. For it was not a simple creature, but a dragon curled up into a ball. Unfurling his feathered wings before impact he stopped his almost collision.

Making his presence known to any who would hear him, he roared his name; "Vendryne Balys!"

Gently he descended to the ground standing all his hind legs, using his tail for balance.

"Interesting. . ." He said slowly as he observed his surroundings.

He soon took notice of the five girls in front of him. They stood in a fighting stance, while taking in his features. Sailor Mercury pulled out one of her devices she used to exploit an enemy's weakness. Vendryne didn't know that however. But he was cautious to their approach. As they were with his.

Deciding that they wouldn't talk first he spoke to break the tense silence that bothered him, greatly.

"Greetings. May I ask who you are? I'm sure I already made my name known." He attempted to greet them.

Sailor Moon stepped foward and did her signature pose, and catchphrase!

"You have disturbed the peace of this beautiful night! No one should ever have a night as beautiful as this be ruined by your roaring! I am Sailor Moon! And in the name of the Moon, I'll punish you!"

"What? Oh, sorry! I guess I over did it. I apologize for my sudden appearance!" Balys replied to her catchphrase. Sailor Moon became confused. Was he not a new enemy?

"So you're Sailor Moon, huh? May I ask for the other's names?" Asked the dragon politely.

The rest of the senshi looked at each other. They had nodded to themselves. Even if they didn't know his purpose here, at least they can as polite as he was.

"Sailor Mars!"

"Sailor Jupiter!"

"Sailor Mercury!"

"And Sailor Venus!"

Vendryne smiled with his lips, and came to on all fours.

"You beautiful ladies have lovely titles. For I know that's not your actual names." He said. The Sailor Guardians looked at him with slight fear. How did he know them?

"But considering your, or what I suppose to be your leader's catchphrase that y'all are heros who fight for the lives of this city, but never reveal your true selves. Well, maybe one day we'll know each other better. You know my name, but that is because I take pride in it!" Said the dragon.

the senshi stood in silence. "What did you come here to do!?" Ordered Jupiter.

Vendryne looked at here quizzically, before speaking. "I am here to find a new life. I come from someplace. Someplace else. But that will be answered when I know I can fully trust you." He replied.

Jupiter narrowed her eyes at him.

'Would we be able to take him? He is massive! And a dragon for that matter! We don't know what he's capable of. But it seems he also doesn't know what we're capable of' Thought Jupiter, as she took him in more closely this time around.

Balys however decided to go. He stood up again, and spread his wings. The senshi took their stances, ready for whatever he was going to do. The dragon chuckled softly at them.

"Don't worry. I am not a threat, my plans here on this Earth are not out of malicious intent. I hope we meet again, ladies! Goodbye." Said Balys as he took flight leaving the the guardians to shield themselves from the force of the wind.

After the wind stopped they all stared at the sky to see his shape flying off towards the moon.

Sailor Moon spoke. "Ehhh!? What was that all about!?" She cried.

Mercury and Venus just shrugged, unsure of the encounter with the dragon that just transpired. Jupiter balled her fists.

"It doesn't matter! If he is a threat to Earth, we will be rid of him, just as we did with Beryl, and the Black Moon Clan!" Said Jupiter.

Mars stood slient, thinking about his aura. It was calm, nervous, sad, angry, and alone, all at the same time is was difficult to get a hold of his aura. She decided to just name him: a troubled soul.

After the ordeal they all went to their homes for the night the encounter replaying in their heads. So a dragon falls from the sky, declares who he is, greets them like a gentleman, says some strange stuff, and leaves? This was definitely gonna raise questions on who Vendryne Balys, was.

But for now, the day was over. And Tomorrow is another day.

Vendryne Balys landing on an apartment building overlooking a university. He was careful to balance his weight on the roof, as to not collapse it. The fear of it breaking by accident became to much however, and so he transformed into Hunter Schwab.

Hunter looked at the university, and knowing he was on an apartment building, decided that his new life in this world was gonna start here.

His mind went to the senshi. Who were they really? Well, he would have time to do that tomorrow. He held out his hand infront of him, and summoned the Spirit-Gem. He looked at the marvel of his soul before him, and took deep breaths. Tears began filling his pale blue eyes. He missed his old world, family, and friends, but this is what he chose, and he had to be content with his choice. But the feeling of being on unfamiliar shores hurt him. Living here in an alternate unvierse was going to he quite the challenge!

Well, that's it for the first chapter! Hope y'all have some understanding to this OC. This story is going to be place during Season 3 of the original anime series back in the 90s.

If y'all have questions about Hunter, and Vendryne, just know for now that he is from our own world, and now has the powers of a god. And no! They're are not separate beings, in the same body, as Venom and Eddie were protrayed in the Venom films. They work in the same way as the characters in Sailor Moon work. They have their true identity, and then another identity when they tranform. It's just that Hunter's is very different. His powers will come in fruition as the story progresses.

Good night!
