Summary: When Namor attacks Wakanda, the Black Panther faces him, with the aid of his agent, The Night Panther.

HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

All around, the beach was on fire. People lay dead or crippled. And in the middle of this, two men were engaged in combat.

KICK!

Namor grimaced as he looked at the king of Wakanda. The kick to his face did little to him.

"Is that your best? Pathetic." the fish-god huffed, barely phased by the blow.

Namor, the king of Talokan, an ancient civilization of underwater dwelling people, who refer to him as the feathered serpent god K'uk'ulkan, had come to Wakanda and viciously attacked it's people. The Black Panther and his man, Night Panther, had come to confront him.

"You come to Wakanda unannounced and uninvited. You attack my people, and leave them dead or dying. Leave, or prepare to face the wrath of the Panther!" T'Challa declared as he extended his claws and leapt at the man.

Namor gripped his trident and faster than T'Challa expected, attacked. T'Challa dodged this way and that, but the man was relentless. T'Challa could not dodge forever. He leapt over Namor and kicked him in the head, but Namor was unfazed by this and quickly spun around slammed his trident like a bat into the Black Panther. T'Challa flew through the air, the impact stunning him more than he had been before.

"Fast... and strong." he mumbled as he crashed down on the ground. Hard.

Namor was on him in a second, the wings on his feet causing him to fly to him and grabbing him around his neck, lifting him up and holding him tightly.

The underwater monarch and warrior was far more than T'Challa had expected. He was almost on Thor's level of strength.

"Your panther... is weak... and has no claws." he said as he squeezed T'Challa's neck while holding him up. "I can snap your neck like a minnows bones! Yield To Me!"

T'Challa grunted as his suit, now charged with kinetic energy, was unleashed, via a kick to the winged man's face.

BOOM!

"ARHH!" Namor shouted as the energy blast knocked him back.

T'Challa was on his feet and charged once more at Namor, slashing at his body, but with little to no avail.

Namor growled as he brought his trident up and smashed it into T'Challa's face, then his chest, then his legs.

"ARGH!" T'Challa screamed in pain as Namor grabbed him by his neck once again.

"Time for you to die!" Namor declared.

Suddenly, someone was on his back, as a pair of black claws grabbed his face. The claws dug into the face, but more importantly, his eyes, as a pair of feet were planted firmly on his back.

"YAHHH!" Namor screamed as the claws pierced his eyes.

"Yield This!" a voice shouted as the man pushed off Namor's back, the claws ripping his skin, his eyes losing their ability to see, and replaced with blood.

"AAAAAHHHHH!" Namor shouted in pain as he held his face with his hands, accidentally smacking himself with his trident. CLANG! "ARGH!"

He dropped T'Challa and fell to his knees, his trident falling to the ground.

"RRRRAAAAAHHHHH!" Namor shouted as he stood up and tried to attack T'Challa. He kept missing since his vision was blurry and he was slightly disoriented.

Night Panther extended his claws and raced towards Namor, slashing at his exposed body with his new laser-powered anti-metal claws with glowed bright red. Namor shouted as the new claws Shuri had made for him sliced the undersea kings thick skin like a hot knife through warm butter. He slashed at his chest, his back, his arms and his legs. He jumped back, seeing Namor still struggling to fight, but his bleeding all over the sandy beach was causing him to slow.

Night Panther approached The Black Panther who stood up.

"Good timing, Shinji." T'Challa groaned, his head still ringing from the previous blow.

"I didn't want to interfere with your fight. Unless necessary." Shinji said to the man.

"It was getting necessary. He's strong."

Shinji picked up the golden trident Namor had been wielding.

"Ohmp! This thing is heavy. Must weigh 300 pounds!"

"That should be childs play for you."

"Says the adult with the panther strength."

Black Panther and Night Panther stood before Namor, who was now on his knees and panting hard.

"You attacked my nation." T'Challa said.

"To... protect... my... p-people." Namor said, huffing as his blood continued to flow from his body.

"Your warriors killed many of my people. And you intended to kill me."

"I do... what I... must... to protect... my.. Kingdom. You... have revealed the truth... about Wakanda. This... exposes Talokan. Your... nation... be... damned."

"And there is no chance for peace?"

"...no!"

Black Panther and Night Panther just looked at each other.

"What do you want to do?" Shinji asked.

T'Challa looked down at the injured man.

"You will leave Wakanda and threaten us no more. As for your kingdom, they must learn to be part of the world, just as Wakanda did. I give you only this one chance." The Black Panther declared.

"You cannot force us to make peace. We will destroy Wakanda, if need be." Namor declared.

"Then I am very sorry... for your stubbornness will doom your people." T'Challa said with a sigh.

T'Challa then walked away, leaving Shinji to guard his king as he returned to his people.

Shinji watched as several blue-skinned, feather-wearing people emerged from the sea and quickly went to their monarch. He watched as they helped him back to the ocean.

No doubt they would return.

And when they did, The Night Panther would be ready.

HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Authors Notes:

This is just a short little drabble I came up with in my spare time. Something that I though of while watching the trailer for the new Black Panther movie. Never really understood the concept, since in many depictions, Wakanda is a land-locked country and seemingly no threat to Atlantis or whatever Namor's kingdom is supposed to be. Obviously there is a deeper story to this that I do not know.

Personally, I would have used Namor in the new Fantastic Four movie, not the Black Panther movie. They could have done something else, but that is the route Marvel chose to take. And since I haven't seen the movie or any other information about Namor and his people, I just made this up.

Please read and review.
