The man pushed the gun into Ashlyn's neck more. "Here's what you're going to do," he ordered. "You're going to drop your phone. I know you have one. You can't pull any tricks on me. You will also drop any other electronic devices on you. Then you will come with me."

Shaking, Ashlyn dropped her phone onto the pavement. She also dropped her Apple Watch. "Were those gifts from daddy?" he asked tauntingly. "Or from Salt Lake's biggest scumbag, your uncle?"

So, this is probably for ransom. That thought gave Ashlyn a sliver of hope. She'd have to be alive if this were to go to their plan. You can't ransom a dead girl. Little did she know, the man and his associates' plans were much darker.

The man forced her towards a car. She was shocked it was not the typical kidnapper car. It wasn't a white van with tinted windows. It was a black limousine, and she could see through the windows. Ashlyn had a thought. This man seemed to be rich. Why would he need to hold someone for ransom?

"Hey," a voice called.

"Maddy, run," Ashlyn yelled out. "He has a gun!"

Ashlyn was pushed into the car by the man. Someone forced her into one of the empty seats. Other people sat in the car, and they all had a weapon. The man entered the vehicle. "Drive, now," he ordered. He pointed the gun at Ashlyn again.

They zoomed away from the house. "The others have the other," the lady said.

"Good," the man ordered. "Now, we have an issue. Someone saw us, so the police will already be on the lookout. No one can see her. She needs to keep low while we get to the base. And abide by the laws of the road for once, Archie. We can't get pulled over tonight."

"It'll be easier if she's knocked out," the driver, now identified as Archie, said. A nearby woman approached her with a metal bat. Before Ashlyn could make her escape, the lady swung the bat. Ashlyn slumped over in the seat, passing out on contact. Back at the Redonvich's house, Maddox was already hatching her plan.
