What are the most dangerous creatures you can think of? You are probably searching for it right now on the internet and you might get Mosquitoes for carrying diseases in their body, spiders and snakes with their poison, hippos with their territorial nature, or maybe humans themselves.
There are many things you can imagine, but there are creatures—no, monsters—that are much more deadly to them they are bigger, stronger, faster, smarter, and they can evolve,so dangerous that they could even—well—take over an entire planet.
But what would happen if five monsters were sent to another world for a new purpose?
(EVOLVE X RWBY)
Ah, Shear. Shear is a mysterious planet almost like Earth in the Far Arm, with rich resources and a lot of wildlife. But except that half of the wildlife is out to kill anyone, man-eating plants, and dangerous weather.
Although the colony did take care of the problem and started colonising the whole planet building a home for themselves and mining the resources in Shear.
It was going great for several years until...
Monsters started to appear around Shear, attacking colonists, destroying everything, hunting and devouring wildlife.
No one knows where the monsters came from; maybe the colonists accidentally unleashed them from mining the resources; maybe the monsters were here in Shear before them, or mother nature in Shear decided to punish humanity.
The colony tried to stop them, but they couldn't, as they were too many of them, too powerful, and intelligent, and they can evolve to counter them.
So the colony decided to call for some help.

DAY 3 OF EVACUATING SHEAR
In a forest on Shear, there is a facility centre in the forest that houses a very angry monster inside a tank with orange liquid that imprisons it with four giant devices surrounding the caged monster.
ROAR!
Also, there is another angry monster there as well.
"Shit! DODGE THE BOULDER EVERYONE!" A man named William Cabot, the leader of the Hunters, shouted as he and three others jumped away using a jetpack from a boulder coming toward them, nearly hitting them.
The boulder then hit a pipe, bending it and causing it to leak orange liquid out to the ground.
"HEY BE CAREFUL! WE STILL NEED THIS PLACE!" A man wearing glasses and a scientist's uniform yelled at the control room near where the battle is taking place.
"HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO BE CAREFUL? WE ARE TRYING NOT TO GET KILLED!" Cabot yelled at the scientist through his earpiece as he tried to get away from the monster.
"Look, I know you guys are doing your best to kill the monster, but we need this place, including the Wraith. We need its warp ability to make Teleport Gates so we can save thousands of lives." The scientist told them while hiding under the console holding a microphone.
The guy is right, though. We need to save this facility. Cabot thought as he looked at the cages Wraith then frowned. But how long can we protect this place from the other monsters?
The monster in the cage is called a Wraith; it is around 18m tall in its third Stage. The Wraith has no eyes, although it can see somehow. It has four arms at the shoulder, two of them have scythes and two long arms with four curve-sharp fingers, and the Wraith has a female-like torso with three pairs of spikes at the side of the back, and three long "legs" like tendrils.
After looking at the caged Wraith, Cabot turned back to where the battle was and flew toward the battle.
"KEEP MOVING AROUND AND SHOOT IT UNTIL IT DIES!" He told his team as he used his Rail Cannon to shoot the monster in front of them.
The monster they're attempting to kill is a Goliath, a bipedal lizard and humanoid-like monster that stands up to 20.6m tall in its third Stage and is coated in grey spikes and barbs. Its head is rounded and well-armoured; it has a large pair of mandibles, a thick neck, a tail with a collection of spikes at the tip, and hind legs.
"Un oh, TAKE COVER BOYS!" Griffin Hallsey, the Big Time Hunter, exclaims as he flies behind another boulder before he sees the Goliath's neck grow bright red, then it breathes fire everywhere, trying to burn them.
Did I forget to mention that it can breathe fire?
Griffin sighed in relief with his back on the boulder holding his Gauss SMG on his chest... Then he turned when he noticed someone next to him.
"Oh hey Slim, how is it going?" he said, surprised, looking at his teammate.
"'Peachy'." Slim, the Basilisk Soldier, said sarcastically, but his eyes turned 'wide'? You can't tell because of the big bug eyes. "Also, your hat is on fire." Hetold Griffin, pointing at his burning hat.
Griffin looked at him, confused about what he said He felt the top of his head warm and then realised what he meant.
"AHH!" He then took his hat off and waved and patted the fire away.
Griffin was upset, looking at his smoking hat, that his hat was burnt after extinguishing it and blowing air at it.
"Ah, sorry about your hat Griff," Slim apologised for his burned hat as he 'reloaded'. His Leech Gun, putting maggots in it, and Griffin only mumbled thanks before putting his back on and both of them returning to the fight.
Cabot is glad both Griffin and Slim are okay after the fire breath coming from the Goliath and the two of them returning to the fight firing at it with their weapons.
Alright, the Goliath is almost down. Cabot thought as he saw the Goliath getting filled with bullets and fire as the Goliath tried to kill them.
Although I don't know if we can save this soon... he glances toward the damaged power relay and the trapped Wraith inside a tank.
"EVERYONE! I'm going to use the Damage Amplifier on it GET READY!" Cabot said as he switched to his Damage Amplifier and pointed to the monster shooting a red beam.
"OH HELL YEAH YET FUCKING KILL IT!" Hyde the Chemtrooper yells excitedly as he shoots the Goliath with his Minigun with a smile on his face.
Goliath roared in agony as bullets ripped through its body, blood spilling out of the bullet hole, flesh missing from the body and revealing it inside.
Then it saw red as it looked at Hyde still shooting his minigun, and the Goliath roared angrily coming towards him on all fours.
When Hyde saw the Monster charging at him, instead of retreating as a normal person would, he rushed towards it, continued shooting, and activated his Defense Matrix.
As both of them get nearer and nearer, Goliath stands up, and brings their left arm back, readying to crush him.
If Goliath is going to die soon, it will take one of the hunters down with it.
Goliath's hand is pierced by a harpoon just as it is about to punch Hyde to the ground, causing it to roar in pain.
The Monster then turned to look at the harpoon in its left hand and noticed a blue energy beam at the bottom heading towards a large harpoon gun, and when it saw who was holding the weapon, it snarled furiously.
Griffin was the one who fired the harpoon that stopped Goliath from punching Hyde.
Hyde continued to blast it while laughing hysterically. Griffin grinned as he planted his feet on the ground and pulled, causing it to stagger away from Hyde.
How was he able to pull a giant Monster from killing his teammates with a harpoon? I don't know, ask the man himself.
As Goliath stumbled, it quickly got up, tore off the harpoon, causing it to grunt in pain, dropped it to the ground, and charged toward Griffin while roaring.
Griffin's grin turned into a horrified expression as he saw it rushing towards him. Griffin attempted to fly away, but it was drawing nearer before it tried to snatch Griffin out in the air, it then heard a scream looked at the sound and widened its eyes in surprise.
"AHHH! OPEN Wide!" Griffin then spotted Cabot flying with his Rain Cannon towards the Goliath's opening jaw.
Griffin was going to yell at him to leave when he suddenly saw Cabot thrust his Rain Cannon into the Goliath's jaws, forcing its head back, shocking him and causing his jaw to drop.
The Goliath roared in surprise as it tried to take Cabot off its face, but it was too late as Cabot then pulled the trigger on the Rain Cannon.
BANG
The Goliath didn't get a chance to roar as the top of their head exploded as pieces of brain, skull and flesh scatter up into the air. Cabot pulled his Rain Cannon out of the monster's mouth using his jetpack to leap away landing on the ground next to his teammate as the now-dead Goliath fall backward making a thudding sound.
All four of them stood there, breathing heavily as they looked at each other for a few seconds before cheering.
"That was badass boss!" Hyde patted Cabot on the back, impressive that Cabot did something awesome and dumb.
"I'm really surprised that you kill the Goliath that way cap." Griffin still stuns, looking at the headless Goliath and kicking it.
"Yeah, me too I didn't know I hadn't in me." Cabot agreed with Griffin snaking his head as he leaned against a boulder with his arms crossed.
As the four congratulated each other, the scientist in the control room called to them. "Thank you guy for stopping that Goliath." The scientist thanks them as he types something on the computer. "Now we can start to use the Wraith's ability to create Teleport Gates or wherever the other scientist's name is but now we can save lives and help you, hunters, to travel around."
"Yeah um, how are you guys going to fix this place when this place isn't in perfect shape." Hyde pointed at a damaged machine that looked like it was about to explode.
"Ah, that." The scientist said, looking at the damaged machine through the camera. "Don't worry we can fix that." After he said that all of the Hunters quickly turned to look at the other machine as it fell to the ground... and suddenly burst into flames.
"...And that too... um yeah, I'm just gonna call the repair drones to fix that."
As the scientist quickly calls for repairs. Slim then asks Cabot, "Are you sure this is a good idea that we keep the Wraith alive? I mean is a dumb idea to experiment with it." Slim said, looking at the Wraith as it glared at them inside the tank.
"I know this seen dangerous," Cabot said turning to look at Slim putting his hand on his shoulder. "But scientists can use its wrap ability to save lives and even help us as well."
"But how long can we protect this from the other monsters?" Slim asks unsure if this right thing to do.
"Am agreeing with him, boss," Griffin said, joining in the conversation. "Plus we only have a few days to evacuate the colonists here in Shear and what happens if it backfires on us." He added.
Cabot removed his hand from Slim's shoulder and, putting on his chin, nodded as he understood the problem; he had the same thoughts as the both of them during the fight.
... Hold on where is Hyde? Cabot noticed that Hyde was nowhere to be seen, and... what is that smell? Why does it smell like chicken?
He turned to where the smell was and raised his brow in confusion as he saw Hyde was... roasting the meat of the dead Goliath using his flamethrower glove.
"Hyde, why are you burning the Goliath?" Cabot asks him as both Slim and Griffin turn as well.
"I'm not burning it I'm cooking it want some?" Hyde asks, holding out cooked meat with his glove hand while eating one.
The three of them just stare at Hyde while he chews loudly, and then all three decline the offer.
Before they could ask any more questions, they were interrupted by a shrill coming from the Wraith as it suddenly started to glow.
"UM, WHY IS IT GLOWING!?" Griffin shouted as he and others pulled out their weapons pointing at the Wraith.
Cabot then calls to the scientist, "WHAT IS IT TRYING TO DO!?"
After a few seconds, Cabot heard a panicked voice from the scientist. "IT TRYING TO OVERLOAD THE POWER RELAY!" Answering him as he quickly tried to shut down the power relay but couldn't as Wraith somehow stopped him. "CRAP! IT LOCK ME OUT OF THE SYSTEM!"
Cabot's eyes went wide when he heard, "Are there other ways to stop?" Cabot and the others move back as the Wraith glows brightly.
"Um, I don't know?" The scientist said shrugging as he tries to find a way to shut it down.
All four of them turned to the control room in shock, and then Hyde accidentally choked on the cooked meat, and then both Griffin and Slim went to help Hyde.
As both Griffin and Slim are helping Hyde, Cabot asks, "What do you mean that you don't know?"
"Well, the reason I don't know is that this is the first time a Wraith tries to overload the Power Relay," The scientist told him. "Plus I'm an intern so I don't know any of this so yeah," He said sheepishly.
After the scientist or now the intern said that Hyde finally coughs out the meat to say, " YOU ARE A WOT NOW?!" Hyde shouted as all four were shocked that the person was an intern.
"WAIT WHY YOU STILL HERE" Griffin yells at the intern, "ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO EVACUATE WITH THE OTHER!"
"Hey, I did not stay here on purpose! Everyone forgot to tell me that there was a monster here when was taking a nap and after I woke up and they were already here so I couldn't leave." The Intern told them to add the last part, but he noticed a blinking red light at the console. "Huh? what this... oh no..." He said quietly, horrified at what he saw on the radar.
Before Cabot could ask what the intern saw, Cabot gets a call from a dropship near where they are at. "Sir you a problem coming." A robotic voice told him.
"Bucket please tell me is not worse than this" Cabot said as he signalled the other to fly out of the pit to outside the facility.
"I'm sorry sir but this is much worse." The robot named Bucket told him in a dropship called the Laurie-Anne flying to where they are. "There is another-."
They were about to land when they were abruptly knocked back to the pit and landed hard; all four groaned in pain as they wondered what had happened.
Then they got their answer as they heard a roar, not one but... five roars around them. Cabot and the others went pale as they slowly lifted their heads to see five other Monsters surrounding the facility.
The new Goliath is similar to the dead Goliath, but this Goliath is different as it is a Stage one and it has many scars from fighting the wildlife and even other Monsters (although it is quite rare for them to fight each other, even going as far as cannibalism each other). It has a scar on its left eye, which is also blind in that eye.
The Wraith and cage Wraith are very different. This Wraith has a black and white colour pattern, a skeleton-like appearance, and a horrifying (but cool) white skull on its face rather than the original colour of the Wraith.
And the third Monster hovering over them is a Kraken,a tall and lankyLovecraftian octopus Monster. The colour of its body is black, and it can generate electricity from the two tentacle-like appendages on its back. It has four glowing blue eyes, a sideways mouth, and tentacles going up and down on its face.
Then a giant spike boulder with cracks showing magma rolls up to the hunters' stops and uncurls itself in front of them, showing itself as Behemoth.A giant quadrupedal rock Monster with two huge front legs and two smaller hind legs. It has a large, rockily asymmetrical head with six eyes around its face. Its body is covered by black jagged plates of tough, rock-like armour, but multiple cracks expose its flesh, and the torso is completely exposed, showing it inside and its beating heart.
The last Monster the hunters saw was a recent monster they fought that came to Shear to aid the monsters. It swung in using its hand as it detached its arm, leaving behind a web-like muscle from inside its wrist to swing around and land on top of the Behemoth, retracting its hand back while the Behemoth grunted.
The Monster then crawls off the Behemoth and screeches at the hunters. The Monster in front of them is called a Gorgon. It is a tall humanoid spider with an upper half torso that looks humanoid with a human head and mandible-filled mouth, multiple eyes similar to the Behemoth, two long arms, and two smaller razor-sharp claws underneath the ribcage. At the bottom of the waist, it has a large, spider-like abdomen with a three-pronged stinger-like feature, and between the abdomen and torso, it has two long legs and four-jointed legs that end in three long clawed toes.
Both Cabot and the others saw what was happening as they walked back away from them and then stopped as their backs were against the concrete block holding the cage. The Wraith looked at them, ecstatic that the humans were about to perish at the hands of the other monsters.
They can handle hunting and fighting a Monster, but not five Monsters at the same time
"Crap Cabot, what are we supposed to do now!?" Slim yelled as all four of them pointed their weapons at the Monsters as the monsters slowly walked toward them.
"I don't know, we can't all fight all of them and get out before this place explodes at the same time," Cabot said, wondering if they can get out alive. "We might die here and fail to protect this place." He admits.
"Well, I'm not going to die without a fight! Right, boss? " Hyde grins as he brings out his flamethrower, shooting out fire from the flamethrower to intimidate the Monsters, which only makes them growl at the Hunters.
Cabot smiles at Hyde enthusiastically as he and others are ready to fight to their last breath... well, maybe a certain person could revive them after they die.
Before the Hunters and Monsters were about to charge at each other, they all turned to the remaining giant machine as they moved forward to the cage Wraith. The machines started to create a blue sphere on top of the cage for a few seconds before the Wraith suddenly screeched in pain as the sphere changed to a dark purple and sent out purple electricity everywhere.
While all of them are in awe and confused, the intern then calls out to the Hunters as he opens the door to the control room. "Everyone get inside the control now!" The Intern shouted at them.
Cabot and others look at each other and nod, running toward the control room as the Monsters are still staring at the sphere. Then they notice the Hunters running to the control room. The Wraith with the skull marking tried to warp in to take one of them, but Cabot saw and turned while running to shoot with his Rain Cannon to stop the Wraith.
When the Hunters got inside, the Intern quickly pressed a button to shut the door and shutter the window. "Okay, tell us what did you do?" Cabot said looking at Intern with a deadpan look.
Before the Intern was going to explain, they all jumped as one of the Monsters was punching at the shutter trying to get inside. All of them turned to look at a screen to see that the Goliath was repeatedly bashing the shutter.
But it abruptly stopped as the Monsters roared in pain as they were hit by a purple beam from the sphere hitting their head and electrocuting them as their bodies suddenly started to glow and glow and glow until...
BOOM
.
.
.
The control room was filled with deafening silence after the explosion. They heard they could not see outside the control room because the camera was knocked out from the blast. They stayed silent for almost a few minutes before Griffin broke the silence. "What the hell happened to the Monsters?"
"I don't know, but it got real quiet, so who wants to go outside?" The Intern asks the Hunters.
The Hunters look at each other before nodding that they all go out together. "Open the door," Cabot tells the Intern as he and the others are ready to rush and shoot anything outside, as the intern hovers his finger at the bottom, counting down.
1
2
3...
All the Hunters rush outside, ready to shoot the Monsters, but...
"The hell, where did they go?" Griffin said the Monster was nowhere to be seen, so the Intern came out to see what was happening. All of them stood there until Cabot ordered everyone to search around. A few minutes later, Slim called as he had found something. When everyone went to where Slim was, he just pointed to the ground, and what they saw confused them.
In front of them on the ground was a strange-looking brain that was burned and wiggly. "Ew, what is that?" The Intern said as the brain was still wiggly but he noticed something. "Hey there, more over there." He pointed to four more of the brains in a different spot the spot where the monsters were.
"I... I think that the Monster brains." As he looked at the five brains, Cabot spoke, realising what there was, then turned to the Intern and asked. "What the hell did you do, kid?"
Everyone looked at the intern with an impressed looks on their faces, waiting for his answer, and then the Intern finally spoke. "Well, I should probably explain what I did." He started. "When the Wraith was overloading the power relay, I got an idea how to stop it... I activate the Teleport Gates early... " He smiles sheepishly, thinking that they might be angry at him, but what he got surprised him.
...They started to chuckle, then turned to full-blown laughter, which made the intern confused. "W-wait I thought you guys were mad at me?!" He yells in disbelief at them.
"Well, we are a little bit mad at you, but you did save our asses, kid," Slim said, chuckling as others complimented the intern. Even Hyde gave him a slice of meat from the Goliath, which is still here somehow, while the intern took thanking him and was still confused about what happened.
Cabot watched them four talking and thanking the intern and putting his hand on his hip, he smiled warmly at them. He was also glad the intern was okay, but he did almost get everyone killed, but at least they were still alive. As others celebrated, Cabot's smile faded as he remembered something... what happened to the Wraith?
Cabot turned the cage Wraith looked at what happened to it, and his eyes were wide as he saw it. There was the Wraith, or what was left of it, as there are pieces of the Wraith around, the cage holding the Wraith is broken, broken glass everywhere, metal bars are falling off, and inside is a purple rift.
"What is that thing?" The intern said as he and the others noticed the purple rift inside the cage while walking next to Cabot.
Cabot turned to look at him and said, pointing at the rift." "I think you did that, kid." After he said that, the rift suddenly glowed brightly, getting bigger and bigger until it suddenly shrank itself into a... crystal?
The crystal dropped to the ground, rolled toward Cabot, and stopped in front of him. The crystal is purple, with a six-sided prism at its centre and a six-sided pyramid on both ends, and it is the size of a basketball.
The five of them stood there staring at the purple crystal on the ground for a few seconds. Before anyone could ask what it was, Hyde pushed everyone aside, grabbed the crystal with both hands, and brought it to his good eye. The others saw this and tried to stop him, but it was too late.
Hyde just stands there still staring at the crystal. Then Slim walks up to him, puts his hand on his shoulder, and asks. "Hyde, you are alright. Is your brain melting or something?" He was half joking and concerned for the Chem trooper, but then Hyde shook his head and noticed Slim lowing the crystal.
"What? Nah, I'm just watching some dragon inside the crystal. " Hyde said casually, confusing the others about what he said.
Maybe his brain really did melt. All four thought the same thing.
"Here, look inside of it." Hyde brings up the crystal in front of Slim face.
"Ah! Hyde what are you doing... thing" Slim paused as he saw what was inside and muttered. "What the hell... is that a robot?"
Cabot and the others, even Hyde, looked surprised at what Slim said. "Wot what you mean, you saw a robot? I saw a dragon in it. " Hyde said as he looked inside again, only making him even more confused. "Why am I seeing something else?"
Everyone then huddled together and looked inside. What they saw was a... "Whoa, is that another world?!" The intern exclaimed as the others looked surprised as well, then Hyde slightly moved the crystal and the world changed to another world populated by people with animal parts.
"Well, look at that kid; you not only saved us, but you also created a crystal that can see another world... bloody hell, this sounds like some bad movie plot," Griffin muttered the last part but also impressed the intern, but turned to a concerned look when he noticed the intern looked scared. "Oi, mate, you alright?" You look pale. "
The intern turned to the other and said, "I think I'm going to get fired." The intern looked like he was about to faint because he had gotten a multi-million key facility destroyed and the people who made the facility would be mad at him.
When Cabot heard what was going to happen to the intern, Cabot then asks. "You know... if you get fired, you could join us and we can teach you how to become a hunter like us." Cabot brings his hand out, offering the intern a job.
The intern looked at his hand and the others then looked back at him, then smiled, shaking his hand. "I don't know if I can become a hunter like you, guys but I'm good with technology if you allow it." He said. "Also, can I join now?" He added, smiling sheepishly, rubbing his head back.
The Hunters laughed, cheering for their new team member, and as they celebrated, the dropship finally landed outside the facility, opening the ship's back door. "Ah perfect timing comes on mates I need some rest after this hunt," Griffin said as he and others walked toward the dropship including the intern but stop as they smell something rotting and turned to where the smell coming from and what they saw shocked them.
The five brains are melted into a rotting mess for a few seconds until it melted completely gone.
"...Huh too bad. Caira would be excited to study it." Slim said holding his nose while the others did the same, then walked back to the dropship.
As Cabot and the others got inside the dropship. Cabot turned where the brains were then turned where the monsters were before.
Did the Monsters die? If so, what kind of brains can wiggly and melt themselves completely and why did the brains come out of their head when the beam hit them? Did the Monsters go to another world?
Cabot shook his head as he think that last part was impossible... right? Then Cabot's eyes widened as he turned to Hyde still carrying the crystal under his armpits while he was talking to the other.
The only thing Cabot can do is to pray... whatever the Monsters are, they pray to the people so they would be safe from the monster's wrath.
(EVOLVE X RWBY)
Time: Around midnight
Location: Some Forest
Planet: Unknown
In the forest with red leaves and near a cliff, seeing other forests up, a herd of deer asleep or awake, watching for any danger, The birds are quietly singing in the trees, and the wind is slightly blowing through the trees.
Then suddenly, everything went completely silent as the wind stopped blowing, the birds went quiet, and the leader of the herd quickly turned its head as it noticed the sound. The leader then calls for the others to wake up and run away. All the deer quickly run away, and just in time, when a bright light suddenly appears, it illuminates everywhere before it dies down.
Where the light was before, it was the Goliath on the red grass, curled up in a ball there, not moving.
Something came out of the forest to investigate the disturbance, and then a pack of black creatures resembled a werewolf but with black fur, a white bone-like mask and bone plating around their bodies, and red glowing eyes.
They came out one by one from the forest. The last one that came out was bigger than the other werewolves. It was taller than the other werewolves and had more bone plating and bone spikes on both its forearms and back.
There are seven of them looking at the strange creature laying in front of them. The Alpha of the pack then barks an order to one of them to check the creature, and a few seconds later, one of them goes forward to it.
When it got close to the unconscious Goliath, the werewolf turned to the other where they were outside the tree line. The werewolf barked at the Alpha, asking what to do, and the Alpha then waved their hand, telling them to. "Poke it or something."
The werewolf then got close and instead of poking it as the Alpha told it to do, the werewolf punched it but then cried out in pain as it held its broken hand.
The rest of the pack looked dumbfounded as they saw the idiot werewolf they had just done. The Alpha frowns, shaking its head, unable to understand why the others simply do what it tells them to. The Alpha then heard movement, and as the alpha brought its head up, its eyes widened.
While the werewolf howled in pain, still holding its broken hand, it did not notice Goliath waking up and its eyes looking at the werewolf next to it.
The werewolf stopped howling in pain as it turned to the others, as they were calling out in panic howls, which confused it as the Goliath rose behind the werewolf and growled at it.
The werewolf didn't have a chance to turn as its body was crushed by Goliath's fist. The Goliath then grabbed the werewolf's crushed body and threw it at them. The werewolves then dodged the incoming bodies, but one of them didn't dodge in time as it got hit, instantly killing it.
The Goliath, after it threw the body of the werewolf away, then noticed the Alpha. The Goliath then roared at the rest of them, pounding its chest like a gorilla, challenging all of them.
The Alpha and the rest of the werewolves growled at the foreign monster, also noticing that the foreign monster was bigger than them, but that didn't matter because they were going to kill the foreigner.
The Alpha howled to its underlings to attack the Goliath. All the underlings charged forward, and the Goliath charged in as well, roaring.
As they were about to come close to each other, the Alpha barked at them, commanding them to go to both sides of the monster and attack it, and just in time, the Goliath slammed both of its fists, missing them.
All the underlings then leapt at the Goliath and grabbed on top of its body and started to attack it, but as they were attacking it, they noticed they were only hurting it a little bit. One of them went in to bite it but only got its teeth broken. Goliath roared angrily as it grabbed the one who bit it, crushing them in its grip and shaking off the werewolves on its body.
All the werewolves fell off. All of them tried to get away, but one of them didn't get out in time as the Goliath lifted its leg and stomped on the werewolf, crushing it.
The two remaining underlings then charge back at it, avenging their brothers, leaping with their arms outward.
The Goliath just huffed and turned around, using its tail to whack them, killing them instantly. The Alpha who was watching all this happening snarled at the Goliath, who looked... disappointed? At the fight.
The Alpha then called to the Goliath, making it turn to face it and growl at it. They both stood there glaring at each other for a few seconds before slowly approaching each other and charging on all fours while roaring.
As the two of them got closer and closer, the Goliath went in to punch the Alpha in the head, but the Alpha saw this coming and dodged it, going to the side and striking it with its claw at the thigh, making the Goliath grunt in pain.
The Goliath tried to swipe at the Alpha, but the werewolf went under it and grabbed its arm and threw it over to the ground, making the ground shake.
The Alpha jumped on top of it and started clawing at it while the Goliath thrashed around on the ground, but then the Goliath grabbed the werewolf's left arm, stopping its attack, and brought the werewolf's face close to its face, growling at it, and the werewolf did the same to it.
But the Alpha's face turned into a confused look when it felt heat coming from Goliath's chest and going to its neck. Then the Alpha turned to a horrified look as it realised what it was doing. The Alpha tried to pull its arm out from Goliath's grasp and punched it with another arm at the neck, trying to stop it from breathing fire, but it only made Goliath angry as its neck glowed bright red.
The Alpha saw the Goliath and was about to breathe fire on it, as a last resort for survival. The alpha then pulled its left arm, brought up its right arm, and came straight down to... cut off its arm.
The Alpha howled in agony as it fell off Goliath's chest and clawed away from it. The Goliath stood up from the ground and looked at the Alpha in shock. What it saw was so shocking that it even shut its jaw up, halting its fire breath.
When Goliath saw what had happened, Goliath had to admit that he was impressed by the werewolf. Goliath had been hunting and fighting wildlife in Shear for many years, and the Goliath fought wildlife that was bigger than it, but the Goliath always came on top, and yet they did not satisfy it until now. For a long time, Goliath never had this feeling before: the feeling of... excitement.
Goliath then smiles widely as it watches the Alpha stand up while its severed arm bleeds out black blood and on the werewolf's face that says 'I am not done yet.' Standing strong, baring its teeth at Goliath.
The Goliath roared as it charged straight to the Alpha, and the Alpha howled, doing the same once and again, except running on its remaining limb not as fast as before. As the Alpha was getting closer to the Goliath, it noticed that the Goliath was blind in the left eye. Using that advantage, it then went to the left, ready to attack it.
But Goliath saw what it was doing and immediately realised what it was going to do. The Goliath then turned to its left as it breathed a jet of fire toward the alpha.
The Alpha yelps as it quickly ducks under the flame, but it hisses in pain as the werewolf's back gets burned away its flesh and black fur. As the werewolf was on the ground, it then quickly crawled forward to the Goliath, and as it got close to it, it then quickly stood up and did an uppercut at the bottom of the jaw, shutting it up and abruptly stopping the Goliath's fire breath, knocking its head upward.
The Alpha grins as it prepares to slice Goliath's neck, but then Goliath suddenly brings its head down, headbutting the alpha mask and cracking it. The alpha howled in agony, holding its mask as it stumbled back away from the Goliath, but then the Goliath bit down on the werewolf's neck and lifted it.
The Alpha howled in pain as it felt its neck being crushed. It then weakly tried to claw at Goliath's face, but it then...
CRACK
The Alpha went limp as Goliath crushed the werewolf's neck and threw it to the ground. The alpha body twitched as it stared at the Goliath standing over it with a smile and a look that said, "That was a good fight." The Alpha's eyes started to fade and its body started to turn to dust, which surprised the Goliath.
The last thing the alpha remembers before its body fades away was Yeah, that was a good fight too. As its body finally fades, it leaves behind a pile of dust in its place.
When Goliath saw what happened to it, Goliath then looked at the other werewolf corpses; like the alpha, all of their bodies were turned to dust. The Goliath sniffed around the air for any of the black creatures to fight, but unfortunately, there weren't any.
But the Goliath blinked a couple of times as it noticed that it was in a different place. The Goliath remembered that it was in the facility trying to kill the Hunters with the other Monsters, but then the other Monsters were hit in the head by a purple beam from that strange purple sphere then nothing.
Goliath was woken up by black creatures that tried to kill him but failed to kill Goliath, and all of them died. However, the Goliath did enjoy fighting the Alpha until its death, but the Goliath doesn't remember those kinds of creatures before in Shear... wait a minute. Is it in Shear anymore?
The Goliath looked up at the midnight sky to see if the Goliath was on a different planet, and then its jaw dropped in shock as it saw the white moon in the sky. (Fun fact: Shear has four moons.) However, the moon is shattered.
Goliath stood there looking at the broken moon. The Goliath realised that it was on another planet and had no way to return to Shear to fight the Hunters.
But then the Goliath smiled as it didn't want to go back to Shear. The Goliath suddenly burst out laughing and then roared to the world, announcing to the world that there is a new predator in town.
AN: MY GOD THIS WAS A LONG TIME TO WRITE THIS. But it was also fun to write this for the first time that I made it. When I first wrote this fanfic, it was around the time that Evolve servers (and Stage 2) were reopened, and what inspired me to write it was another RWBY X Evolve fanfic called Monster Unknown by Blood Shinobi in FanFiction, in which Team RWBY fought the Goliath; you can read it, it's pretty good.
So if you want to thank someone, thank Blood Shinobi, and also thank you Blood Shinobi for inspiring me to write this.
So anyway, thank you for this and I hope you enjoy this. See you in the next chapter.
Omake: I'm sorry, your name is what now?
Insides the Laurie-Anne at the bridge
Cabot: Alright, here is the bridge, and we'll be working alongside my partner, Bucket. Say hello, Bucket.
Bucket: Hello there.
Intern: Oh, cool mind robot, you don't see that every day.
Bucket: Yes, yes, yes. I know I am talking- What did you say?
Intern: Yeah you are a mind-well, a Yudkowsky Thought Box. I studied robotics back in school, so I know a lot about robots.
Bucket: I'm impressed by just taking a look at me. Cabot, you've found someone who isn't insane.
Cabot: Bucket be nice, not everyone here is crazy... but anyway, I forgot to ask something. What is your name?
Intern: Oh um, I would rather not tell my 's kind of embarrassing.
Cabot: I'm sure it's not that bad. I mean, Bucket is named after a bucket.
Bucket: And I'm happy with my name.
Cabot: So it be alright, we won't judge your name.
Intern: Oh okay, um, my name is... Bob. Bob Jones.
Cabot: ...How about we call you Jones, alright?
Intern: 100 percentI preferred that name.
Bucket: I'm glad I chose my name.
Jones: YOU CHOSE A BUCKET AS YOUR NAME!
Bucket: WELL I'M NOT A HUMAN NAME BOB!
Cabot watches both of them arguing and sighs: Well this got a little interesting.
