"Harry Potter"

Harry's heart dropped at the announcement of his name. The laughter and joy he felt mere moments ago had completely faded. Looking around, Harry could see that his fellow students were just as shocked as him.

'I can't participate. I'm too young. Why does something always have to go wrong when it involves me? Can't I just get one year of peace?' Harry begged his mind to come up with something to get him out of his predicament, but he was coming up short. That is, until a voice spoke inside of his head.

'Harry, there is no need to worry or be afraid. Calm down and I can help you pup.' At the familiar voice of his godfather, Harry began to take in deep breaths. His heart that had been pounding mere minutes before, was now slowing to a steadier and calmer pace in his chest.

'Padfoot? How did you? Never mind. What can I do to get out of this? I am way too young to participate in the tournament, but someone has entered me. How do I prove that it wasn't me who did so?' Harry tried to hold off on his curiosity of Padfoot being in his head by thinking about a way to get out of the mess he was now in.

'It is quite simple my pup. All you need to do is simple swear upon your magic that it wasn't you. Repeat after me. "I Harry James Potter-Black, do swear upon my family magic that I was not the one who put my name into the goblet of fire. Nor do I have any idea on who could've done so." That will prove to every one of those wizards and witches that you want no choice in the matter. If they still force you into participating, then you are declared an adult wizard. This is because you must be an adult in order to participate. The Ministry knows this and can do nothing if you do anything underage wizards cannot do.' At the explanation, Harry nods his head subconsciously and stands up.

Raising his wand for all to see, Harry declares his innocence. "I, Harry James Potter-Black, do swear upon my family magic, that I was not the one who put my name in the goblet of fire. Nor do I have any idea on who it could've been that did. So mote it be."

Many students that were previously scowling, including Ron, quickly look at Harry in slight awe and horror at his oath. They all held their breathe as they waited for his magic to disappear.

"Lumos"

Breaths were released as all of the staff and students saw Harry's wand light up with the brightest light anyone had seen in decades.

Later, when Ron and Harry were in their dorm, the two sat cuddled by the fire. Neither really knows how they came to be in the position. But neither cared either.

"Ron?" Harry's voice was a quiet whisper among the boys dorm.

"Yeah Har?" Came Ron's equally as quiet reply.

"Thank you for being here for me. I don't think I could make it through the night if I didn't have you."

Ron smiled softly and stroked Harry's hair gently.

"Don't thank me for something I will always do for you Har. I love you and nothing will change that."

In the silence of the room after Ron's last words, both knew that it couldn't be more true.
