"And how do you explain the "floating ghosts"?" Adrien asked Marinette. "It won't work, Marinette. I'm sorry, but Plagg and Tikki will have to stay here." "Aw, I wanted to go trick-or-treating," Tikki said, from underneath her sheet. Marinette even made me a little bag for the candy." "I'd be fine to stay with you, SugarCube," Plagg said. "Then we can eat cheese all night long!"

"Wait, I have a idea!" Marinette said. "Follow me!" Adrien shuffled forward. "Kind of hard to that, M'lady." The four of them were dressed as ghosts, and you couldn't walk properly without falling over. You had to shuffle as you walked. "Please, Adrien, have you met me? I fall down all the time, so I learned the art of shuffling. Come on!" "Yes, Bugaboo!"

It took some time, but finally they made it to the living room. "You can use this, and say its a remote to make them fly." Adrien picked up the controller. "It might work and you've had crazier ideas then this. I'm in!" "It wasn't as crazy as you asking Tom Nook to replace the weeds in the game with catnip!"

Adrien groaned. "I love Animal Crossing, but there are two problems. That raccoon put me in the poorhouse asking for Bells, and there are no ladybugs!" Marinette rolled her eyes. "I think something sweet will your brighten your sour mood." Adrien smirked at her. "You learn quick, M'lady."

Plagg groaned. "Will you two stop flirting? I need cheese!" The stopped at the first house and Marinette knocked on the door. "Trick-or-treat!" she grinned, holding up her bucket. "Well, look at you. Two Ghost Cats!" The kind lady dropped candy into their buckets. "Have fun, you two!"

Marinette giggled as they walked down the street. "See, she didn't suspect a thing!"

"Hold up, Dupain-Cheng!" Marinette sighed as Chloe blocked her way to the door. "How are those things floating by themselves? You'll need to give answers before getting into my Halloween party!"

How had Adrien talked her into this, after trick-or-treating? "Adrien?" she said, sweetly. "Their controlled by this remote, Chloe. Can we go inside now?" "On one condition!" she told the two, wagging her finger. Marinette threw a panicked look at Adrien. Chloe wasn't going ask what was under the floating sheets was she? "That you help me decorate my house in Animal Crossing! Max has been helping me, but he's a terrible shopper!"

Marinette chuckled and sighed with relief as they went inside. "Come on," she whispered. "I'll get you some snacks."

Plagg was finishing his cheese when Adrien strode in. "The dance is about to start, Marinette. I think we should get downstairs.

Before Marinettte could say anything, Plagg groaned. "I think Tikki and I will stay up here, Adrien. I'm curious about the cheesecake Marinette brought up."

"How are we going to dance in these?" Marinette asked, pointing to her and Adrien's costumes. "Why, as Ladybug and Cat Noir, of course." "Were we invited?" Marinette asked. "Just a patrol, Bugaboo."

Even Plagg was okay with it, as long as Marinette brought more cake. It was wonderful dancing with Cat and she had no idea he was so good at doing the Monster Mash.

Ladybug led the group to Thriller, then squealed happily as Cat twirled her into one of the closets. "You saved me from being a monster once," he whispered and she looked up into his green eyes. "You will always be my Cat Noir, my Prince Charming."

"I haven't saved you from a tower, though," Cat joked, his green eyes glowing. "Oh, Kitty, I love the way you are." Her lips tasted like melted chocolate, and almost couldn't get enough of his Lady's sweetness. "Are you going to be this sweet in the morning, before your coffee?" he asked, brushing a lock of hair back from her face. "Just have ready before I rise, and you won't see my wrath." "My Lady! You wouldn't really turn me into a black cat, would you?"

They giggled happily and then crept out into the night. It was a crisp night, full of stars and perfect for broom-riding, but Ladybug and Cat Noir went to their favorite spot, eating candy and giggling of Halloween's past.

Cat smiled as he stroked his Lady's hair. He may be a Black Cat, but he knew Ladybug would always love him, bad luck or not. So, the pair of friends stayed out under the moon, who earlier had been ghosts, now turned into Cat Noir and Ladybug.
