"Big date tonight," Finn smirked. "Are you nervous?"
"Me? Nervous?" Damian snorted. "It's just a date. I already got this in the bag. She already adores me."
"Adores you? Really?" Finn chuckled. "Don't be so sure of yourself, big man. Honey isn't one to mess around. You know that. Don't fuck this up from the start."
"I've never met a woman I couldn't sweet talk. It won't be different with Honey. It kinda comes with her name, doesn't it?" Damian laughed. "And you won't believe what I discovered."
"What?" Finn asked.
"Let's wait until she gets here," Damian said.

Damian gave Finn a smile of secrecy. Finn smiled back and shrugged. He didn't really care what it was Damian kept secret. He cared about the date though. Damian sometimes lost his head in the clouds and hurt people along the way, and he didn't always know when to stop what he was doing. Finn had pulled Damian back down to earth several times. It was getting tiring to always clean up after his friend.

"I hear a car," Rhea said.
"That's probably them," Finn said.

Rhea stood up, looked out at the window, and nodded while smiling. A minute later the door opened, and Honey and Dakota entered. Rhea was throwing a movie night, and Damian and Honey had agreed to meet there and go on a date. Finn looked at Honey. There was something about her honey brown eyes and her long, hazel brown hair that made her name so fitting and also always made him smile.

"Hi, guys," Finn said.

Dakota walked over and sat down next to Finn. Honey waved at everyone and looked at Damian.

"Ready to go?" Honey asked.
"Just a minute," Damian smirked. "You never told me you have a twin sister."
"You do?" Matt asked excited. "Is she single?"
"Wait until you hear her name," Damian chuckled. "Honey, tell them your sister's name."
"Sugar," Honey said.
"Honey and Sugar," Damian laughed. "And it gets better. They have a little brother too. What's his name, Honey?"
"Butter," Honey said lowly.
"Butter!" Damian snorted in laughter. "Can you picture it? Honey, Sugar and Butter. Who does that?"

Finn looked over at Honey. Clearly she was uncomfortable. Damian was taking it too far. It was one thing to just laugh over names but Damian was directly mocking them.

"Damian, stop," Finn said.

Damian chose to ignore Finn. He kept laughing while continuing.

"And what's your last name?" Damian asked.
"Cappuccino," Honey said.
"Honey Cappuccino!" Damian yelled. "You can't make this shit up."
"Damian, stop," Finn tried again.
"And then there's the two family dogs," Damian continued ignoring Finn. "Tell them the dogs' names, Honey."
"No," Honey said.

Clearly Honey had enough. Either Damian was blind as a bat or he just didn't care.

"They're labradors. One white called Vanilla and one brown called Chocolate," Damian said.
"This was the shortest date ever. We didn't even make it out of the door," Honey said.

Damian stopped laughing and stared at her. The entire room was quiet. It felt like the air had been sucked out of it.

"What do you mean?" Damian asked.
"I'm not going out with anyone mocking my family like that," Honey said.
"Come on!" Damian said irritated. "It was just a joke."
"I'm not laughing," Honey said.
"Come on. It was funny, right, guys?" Damian asked.

Damian looked around at everyone but no one agreed with him. Finn shook his head no.

"I told you to stop," Finn said.
"It was just a fucking joke!" Damian hissed.
"You always take things too far," Finn said.
"How do you even know all that?" Rhea asked.
"From her facebook," Damian said.
"I wasn't aware my profile was set to public. I gotta change that. Thanks, I guess," Honey said.

Damian stood up. He was determined to get his date.

"Let's just forget this and go out," Damian said.
"You can go out all you want. I'm not stopping you, but I'm not coming with you either," Honey said.
"What the fuck is wrong with women these days?" Damian raised his voice.
"Bro, chill," Matt tried.

Finn shook his head again. Damian had lost it. There was no other explanation. He looked over at Honey and hoped his eyes gave away how sorry he was for not being able to stop his friend.

"Finn, what are you doing tonight?" Honey asked.

Finn caught on right away. He started smiling and stood up.

"Anything you want me to, love," Finn winked.
"I got a reservation I would hate seeing go to waste. And I'm hungry. Are you hungry?" Honey asked.
"Starving," Finn said.
"Dude, what the fuck?" Damian asked.

It was Finn's turn to ignore Damian. He walked past his friend and over to Honey. They turned around and started walking out.

"Have fun!" Rhea yelled.
"What the fuck just happened?" Damian asked.
"You lost, bro," Matt chuckled. "Wait, she never told me if her sister is single."
"Ask her again tomorrow," Rhea said.
"Great idea, bro," Matt said.

Outside Finn showed Honey to his car since she had arrived with Dakota. They got in and he started the car.

"We don't have to do this. I can take you home if you want," he said.
"I'm hungry so we're doing this," she said.
"Cool," he grinned. "Sorry about Damian. He's an idiot sometimes."
"Only sometimes?" She asked.

He looked at her and they both started laughing.

"You shouldn't apologize for his actions. I knew he could be a bit of a dick sometimes. I just didn't imagine he would aim his dickery at me," she said.
"Dickery!" He snorted. "I like you, Honey."
"I like you too, Finn," she said. "Funny how he didn't mention my cat's name. Probably because it falls out of my parents' preferred name theme."

He stopped at a red light and looked over at her.

"What's your cat's name?" He asked.
"Toolbox," she said.
"Toolbox?" He laughed. "Why?"
"I was so tired of food names," she laughed too. "I needed something as far away from sweets as I could get."
"Yeah, it doesn't get any further away than Toolbox," he chuckled. "Hopefully one day you'll let me meet your cat."
"Play your cards right tonight, and you might go to bed having petted one pussy," she said.

He snorted in laugher again. He liked her more and more for each passing second. He never knew she had this fun side to her.

"The light's green," she said.
"Oh, sorry," he chuckled.

He stepped on the gas and drove forward again.

"And you're blushing," she smirked.
"It's been a while since anyone made me do that," he said.
"Aw, that makes me feel so proud," she grinned. "I can already tell tonight is gonna be a great night. Into the night we go, lovely Irish man. Into the night we go."
