There they sat upon tiles of gold and black. Seven figures in all, formed from purest of silver and shining like stars in the perpetual darkness that surrounded them. Each piece was a representation of a distinctive Class of the Servants, the primary seven that were supposed to be summoned in every Holy Grail War.

Saber… Masters of swords whose own legends often surpassed beyond they who wielded them.

Lancer… Wielders of spears, lances, any and all weapons that provided the extra reach that made striking them down all but impossible.

Archer… The true masters of the long-range weaponry who possessed such incredible strength of will that they virtually became their own Masters if they desired so.

Rider… They who had mastered their mounts to such a degree that even upon their own feet, they were a passing blur to untrained eyes.

Caster… Mages, sorcerers, crafters, they who were the artisans of their arts, purveyors of practices and connoisseurs of the crafts, which were unable to be easily replicated.

Berserker… The mad dogs of war whose sheer physical might were rivaled only by their inhumane madness…

Assassin… The shadow walkers who moved silent and unseen by their victims until their blades were buried to the hilt in their heart.

Fourteen combatants in all, the seven Masters and the seven Servants whom they call forth from the Throne of Heroes to fight and kill to attain that which was named as the Holy Grail, that their wishes may be granted, one to the living and one to the dead. An absolute balance, a perfected measure of control… but a war is a war, and like all rules that have come before and like so many that will follow, they are broken.

Right in the very First... then the Second that followed... And then the disaster of the Third...

From that travesty, a new Class was unveiled, existing but initially cast aside.

Avenger… they whose lives were spent in the name of vengeance be it for themselves or others… It was not a true class, a substitute and nothing more. It was never meant to be used as only a few heroes of the past could fill the standard, and rare was it that the gifts of being an Avenger were welcomed. Summoned from frustration and slaughtered before the folly could be discovered, that which whom was called as Avenger was he who had, in life, been a sacrifice against all that is sin, all that is evil, all that is abhorrent of mankind. In his demise as a Servant, he had done what he had in life and so it was not the soul of an innocent, but a soul of an avenging hero that was swept into the Holy Grail.

No...

It was no mere Servant that had overridden the Holy Grail.

It was Sin.

It was Darkness.

It was All of the World's Evil.

And with it's presence, the rules upon the board were twisted beyond limit, widening the scale of reach.

There was plenty of space upon the opened board and the prize at the opposite end. From the blackness, a hand reached out…

And took hold of a scientific killer.

Or rather, what had meant to be a scientific killer. If anything, it would be more accurate to state that she had been killed far more than she could kill, and even the latter part was a murky fact.

But in terms of the Holy Grail War, there was no Class more worthier of her than that of the Heroic Spirit of Assassination.

Caster recited the chant fluently, as if they were natural to her. She'd never done this before, even in life, but the knowledge she had of modern magecraft had helpfully filled in the blanks.

The blast of light indicated to her that the summoning had gone correctly, with the accompanying sparks of electricity giving her hope. A Servant so innately connected to one of Gaia's natural forces implied that they would be rather powerful.

Which was why she was definitely surprised to see a girl, even younger than the Masters she'd observed at her Master's school, appeared into the circle.

Dressed in a school uniform of all things, the Servant mildly pulled up the strange goggles up to her forehead and looked down, only to gasp in despair at the sight of her body and fall to her knees in defeat.

"To think that the adult figure Assassin worked so hard to inherit from Mama and Worst is no longer here." The apparent Assassin's head hung further. "Such misfortune."

"A-Are you... Assassin?" Caster exclaimed in disbelief at her Servant's appearance. "You look so... modern."

"The Throne of Heroes spans across time and space, making Assassin judge by your disbelief and the ambient electrons in the air-" Tendrils of electric prana danced of Assassin's hair. "-she is effectively now in the past."

'I summoned a Servant... from the future?!' Caster hummed at that thought. "Well, I can follow up on that at another time. What is more important is to figure out how powerful you are."

"Acknowledged." In a flash of electricity, what looked like a shotgun appeared in Assassin's hands after she got back to her feet and pulled her goggles back down. With the glow that emanated from the lenses and the abnormality of the sight of a middle schoolgirl wielding a what looked a very advanced of this era's weapon with apparent ease, Caster admitted that the one before her might have earned her Class due to the sheer intimidation factor she was suddenly giving off. "Give Assassin the target."

Lancer grinned eagerly as he dodged another bullet from Assassin, uncaring as the tree behind him got blasted in half when he could feel the small line burned into his cheek. "Not half bad, Assassin! It's one thing to bypass my Protection from Arrows! It's another to straight up power through it!"

"As Nee-sama always recommended, it is best to be direct to men who annoy Assassin." Assassin dodged back from the stab that would have pierced her throat, tendrils of electricity trailing after her movements as she backflipped and leapt up into a tree. "This is ironic considering Nee-sama's tsundere attitude."

Steadying herself, Assassin immediately fired again, the added electricity boosting her bullet's speed almost to the point that it was less a bullet and more of a beam of light that nearly blew off Lancer's left arm.

Taking a moment to regard the damage to the nearly lost limb, Lancer only guffawed in delight before chasing after Assassin, much pleased than he was when the shitty priest had sent him to 'put down the extra'.

"Assassin notes that you have strong little sister vibes."

Sakura blinked at Assassin's words. "Eh?"

After killing her own Master the moment that she had discovered about her involvements in the city, Assassin had found Sakura and had browbeaten her into becoming her Master.

It really helped that Assassin had somehow killed Grandfather by bumping the back of her lightning coated fist against her chest.

Add in the fact that Assassin could passively absorb electricity for energy and Sakura could barely feel the strain of having two Servants.

"As a fellow little sister, Assassin believes that you must not lose your target to the tsundere." Assassin surprised her even further when the Servant suddenly grabbed the girl's large breasts and squeezed, causing Sakura to blush and yelp. "Especially when Master has been blessed with these!"

"That's enough." Rider immediately appeared and pulled Assassin away, holding her up like a scuffed kitten. "As much as I agree that Sakura should take better initiative of her love life-"

"Rider?!"

"-we probably shouldn't rush her." Rider finished as she set the Assassin down.

Assassin pouted and crossed her arms. "Assassin just believes that if Master is going to be suckered into the harem ending like Assassin was, she should at least defend her position as number one. Assassin herself was not as fortunate."

To Sakura's mortification, Rider actually hummed in agreement as the taller Servant crossed her arms. "True. The kindness that Shirou Emiya constantly gives as easily as breathing has endeared to all the females in his class and club. I did not see much with Shinji, but I won't be surprised if at least half the girls in the school held a torch for him."

Sakura winced. 'It's actually two-thirds now...'

Maybe Assassin had a point... "What... do you recommend?"

Assassin looked up and down her Master's buxom figure. "Have you ever heard about the 'Great Spirit Revealing Maid Outfit'?"

"Assassin is surprised at how much she is reminded of him. Even the eyes are the same."

Gilgamesh raised an eyebrow after Assassin gave a melancholic smile during their battle, all of her tools and weapons now broken. "Who do I remind you of, doll?"

"A lonely and arrogant person who had god-like power but no companions until Assassin's savior landed a magnificent punch in his cheek." Assassin smiled at the memory. "Have you also met a person like that?"

Gilgamesh's eyes softened at the memory of someone who possessed divine clay for a body and ethereally long grass for hair. "Indeed... I truly did have a companion like that. But he will never return to my side. Not in this life."

"If you believe that you can't meet him again in this life, then Assassin shall return to his side." Despite the blood leaking down her face, Assassin smiled as electricity burst to life around her and concentrated around her clenched fist. "As a little sister who was saved, Assassin will repay the favor and shatter that stupid illusion of yours!"

Class Skills

Presence Concealment (Rank D): The capacity to hide one's presence as a Servant. Due to the fame of her elder sister, it is difficult for Assassin to properly disguise herself, especially as she bears pride and love in being 'acknowledged as Biri-Biri's imouto'.

Personal Skills

Prana Burst (Electricity) (Rank D): Assassin is able to explosively increase her physical abilities after learning about this skill from her elder sister, who in turn learned it from her fellow Level 5's underling. However, due to her inferiority as an Electromaster, she is unable to use it as efficiently as her sister does or as powerfully as the Rampage Dress.

Military Warfare (False) (Rank A): Assassin is an extensively skilled practitioner of war, being capable of triumphing in almost every battle like scenario. However, this Skill is marked as False due to the necessary knowledge being downloaded into her instead being earned from experience.

Protection from Instantaneous Demise (Rank A): After experiencing ten thousand and thirty one battles against an enemy who could kill her with a single touch, Assassin is unable to be hit with attacks with the trait of 'Insta-kill'.

Noble Phantasms

Electron (NV) Goggles - Lenses that Peer into the Electromagnetic Spectrum (Rank C: Pro-Self): Due to not being as powerful as her sister, this is a pair of customized goggles that allow Assassin to visualize electric or magnetic fluxes. She is also capable of using it to see in the dark as well as through many types of disguises.

Toy Soldier - F2000 Bullpup Assault Rifle (Rank C: Anti-Unit): This is a portable rifle which is Assassin's most favored tool as it is easy to disassemble and disguise due to it's composition of laminated plastic.

Metal Eater MX - Barret M82A1 Anti-Tank Rifle (Rank A: Anti-Unit): Assassin possesses the prototype model of the Barret M82A1 which allows the use of the full-auto feature, allowing for rapid fire usage and is capable of firing at a speed of 3070 km/h and piercing through even Berserker's immensely tough body.

Radio Noise - Flawed Electricity of the Little Sister(s) (Rank B): Assassin is capable of generating and manipulating up to 50,000 volts of electricity.

Stungun Breaker - Electromagnetic Cannon that Shocks Away the Despised Illusion (Rank A: Anti-Unit): This is a noble phantasm inspired by the two most important people in Assassin's life. Nicknamed 'stungun' as a homage to her elder sister, Assassin mimics her savior by using a punch that possesses the blasting, piercing and shocking damage of 10,000 volts. It also somehow has the ability to dispel unnatural phenomena of any sort in exchange for draining her on the scale of the dispelled magecraft. Assassin has never questioned how or why her Noble Phantasm possesses an ability that belonged to an extremely unique power, only seeing it as further proof of her close link to Touma Kamijou.
