"I..I don't know. But however it has happened, I am glad that I can see you again." He answered.

He remembered everything. From their messy, complicated but beautiful relationship, to her suicide attempt, right up until his murder. He wished that he had let Cookie come with him. But because of their petty fighting and his stubbornness, he had lost his life.

Now Effy was here, suffering alone. If only he hadn't gone to confront that councillor. If only. If only. That's all his head was filled with.

That's not why he was here though. The reason he believed that he had come back was because he had a girl here, a girl he loved and who loved him so much that his death had left a huge void in her heart. The reason he was still walking the earth as a spirit, he believed was to help Effy to move on from his death. To help her move on and live a long, happy, healthy, love filled life with someone who she could love, maybe not as much, but just as passionately as she loved him.

At least, that was his thoughts on his recent appearance. Though he wondered how exactly he could do that. His love for her was so strong that it had bound his spirit to the earth. She became his unfinished business. Her love for him was so strong that it had drawn him right back to her. He really did have to wonder exactly how he would help her let go of the pain. Let go of him.

Ouch! That was a thought that hurt him. He loved her so much, he didn't want her to let him go, but he knew, deep down, that it would be selfish of him to keep her. He had no choice now that he was dead. He had to let her go. After all, she couldn't love a ghost for the rest of her life.

"I missed you so much." She cried, tears rolling down her cheeks.

He couldn't bear to see her in this pain. When he was alive, he felt so helpless watching her suffer, but now he felt horribly guilty. He was stupid to go and get himself killed. Why did he go there? Why?

Closing his eyes, he knew he had to calm down. If his anger got the better of him, he would become a vengeful spirit, and that was the one thing he needed to avoid for however long he was stuck roaming the earth.
