Left alone with her thoughts, she decided that she would no longer lock herself away from the rest of the world in her bedroom.

She got up from her bed, and went over to her wardrobe. She pulled out a pair of blue denim jean shorts, a pair of fishnet tights and a black crop top and threw them on the bed. Going over to the dresser, she took out a face wipe from the packet and wiped away all of the smudged make up off of her face.

Once she was convinced that her face was clean, she changed into the outfit that she had picked out. She was determined to try and see Freddy again. So she had decided that she would go and visit his grave stone.

Giving her hair a quick brush through so it wasn't all knotted, she headed out of her room and down the stairs. Looking into the living room, she saw that her mother was passed out on the sofa again. Typical she thought. But she would not allow herself to deal with anymore stress today. Rather than stopping to sort her mother out, she just left the house.

It was the first time she had been out since Freddy's death, and going out now, it was as though her whole perspective of the outside world had changed.

She no longer was blinded by the parties and all the drama. Instead, walking the streets, she saw joy, she saw excitement, heartbreak and pain all through different people that she passed on her way to the cemetery.

Once she reached the cemetery gates, she entered and began looking to each side of her, in search for his headstone. After looking for a few minutes, she found it. She sat down opposite the stone, on the fresh green grass and began to speak, in the hopes that he would hear her and make himself known again.

"Why Freddy? Tell me why. I loved you and for me that's huge because I was never serious about anyone. Why did you have to go and confront that man? It wasn't worth your life." She began, feeling hopeless. It was a question that had been in her head the whole time. One that she hadn't yet had the chance to ask.

Time passed by and she was giving up hope that she would ever see him again. Of course it was just in her head. Maybe everyone was right and it was just her grief causing her to see him, almost like a comfort in her mind to block out the pain. It wasn't healthy and she needed to move on. The problem was that she didn't know if she could.

She was almost gonna get up and leave when finally, something happened.

"I loved you too Ef. I still do you know. But I gotta let you go. That's why I'm still here, so you can heal." Freddy said as he appeared in front of her.

"Are you really just in my head?" She asked, sadly coming to realise that it might just be true.

"Yes. At least I think so." He replied. God, she wished she could hug him and kiss him. There was nothing on the face of the earth that she wanted more. Unfortunately, if he really was just in her head then none of that would ever be possible.
