Off To Camp Rosewood Part 1
Stevie's father came up to her bedroom.
"You all ready to go to Camp Olympus with Chad, Alex, and Michael, Stevie?" Mister Lake asked.
Stevie groaned at the idea of seeing her brothers at the same summer camp that she was attending.
"All set, Dad." Stevie answered.
"Good," Mister Lake said to Stevie. "because that nice rich girl from Pine Hollow will be one of your cabin mates at Camp Olumpus."
"Nice rich girl? What nice rich girl, Dad?" Stevie asked.
That was when Chad appeared in his only sister's doorway.
"I gave Kristina Cavanaugh a Camp Olympus brochure," Chad said to Stevie. "looks like Veronica will be cruising the U.S. Virgin Islands all alone."
"You jerk!" Stevie said to Chad.
Back at the Atwood residence, Lisa had gotten under her sheet and fell fast asleep.
Within Lisa's dream, it was a chilly morning as Lisa rode on Prancer's back, Carole rode on Starlight's back, and Stevie on Belle's back.
"There's only one thing worse than getting up on a cold morning and going riding." Carole said.
"And that's not getting up on a cold morning..." Stevie began.
"And not going riding." Lisa finished.
The three girls noticed a campsite nearby.
"What's that?" Lisa asked.
"Who are they I wonder?" Stevie remarked.
"Let's go and say hello." Carole suggested.
Far off in the distance, a black stallion galloped with a 16-year-old boy on his back.
The Saddle Club girls rode up to the campsite.
When a snake slithered across Prancer's path and spooked her.
"Prancer! Prancer! Prancer! Prancer! Prancer! Whoa!" Lisa exclaimed.
Carole looked back.
"Prancer!" Lisa screamed as Prancer galloped off.
"Help!" Lisa screamed.
"Hang on, Lisa!" Carole called.
The boy on horseback heard Lisa scream out in terror and turned the stallion around.
"Hyah!" the boy exclaimed, racing after Lisa.
"Whoa, Prancer! Whoa!" Lisa screamed.
Carole and Stevie were also racing to rescue Lisa.
"Lisa!" Carole exclaimed.
"Somebody help! Stop, Prancer!" Lisa called.
"We're coming!" Stevie exclaimed.
"Hold on, Lisa!" Carole called.
"Prancer, stop, please!" Lisa called.
"Lisa, hold on!" Stevie called out.
"We're nearly there, Lisa." Carole called.
"Help! Prancer!" Lisa called.
The boy rode alongside Lisa.
"Easy, boy! Whoa, boy! Whoa, boy! Easy, boy. Hang on. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Easy, boy." the 16-year-old said to his horse.
Lisa was breathless.
"You did well to stay on, hi, I'm Rafael." the boy said.
"Hi, I'm Lisa." Lisa panted breathlessly.
"Lisa... Lisa... Lisa... Lisa... Lisa..." someone repeatedly called.
Lisa opened her eyes.
"Oh, good morning, Mom, good morning, Melanie." Lisa said, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
"You were dreaming, Lisa," Melanie said. "so, what was it about?"
"None of and mind your own business, Melanie!" Lisa scolded.
"If your dream was about Camp Rosewood," Eleanor said. "then, you girls will miss the bus if you don't hurry it up."
"Oh nuts! I need to get dressed!" Lisa exclaimed.
"Melanie and I will be loading your trunk onto the bus." Eleanor said.
"Okay, Mom." Lisa said.
Eleanor and Melanie took Lisa's trunk down to the bus while Lisa herself got ready for the bus.
On board the bus to Camp Rosewood, Lisa sat next to Carole who was noticing that Lisa was looking totally spaced out.
