Off To Camp Rosewood Part 2
All Lisa did on the way to Camp Rosewood was stare out the bus's window that she sat next to.
Within Lisa's daydream, it was a chilly morning as Lisa rode on Prancer's back, Carole rode on Starlight's back, and Stevie on Belle's back.
"There's only one thing worse than getting up on a cold morning and going riding." Carole said.
"And that's not getting up on a cold morning..." Stevie began.
"And not going riding." Lisa finished.
The three girls noticed a campsite nearby.
"What's that?" Lisa asked.
"Who are they I wonder?" Stevie remarked.
"Let's go and say hello." Carole suggested.
Far off in the distance, a black stallion galloped with a 16-year-old boy on his back.
The Saddle Club girls rode up to the campsite.
When a snake slithered across Prancer's path and spooked her.
"Prancer! Prancer! Prancer! Prancer! Prancer! Whoa!" Lisa exclaimed.
Carole looked back.
"Prancer!" Lisa screamed as Prancer galloped off.
"Help!" Lisa screamed.
"Hang on, Lisa!" Carole called.
The boy on horseback heard Lisa scream out in terror and turned the stallion around.
"Hyah!" the boy exclaimed, racing after Lisa.
"Whoa, Prancer! Whoa!" Lisa screamed.
Carole and Stevie were also racing to rescue Lisa.
"Lisa!" Carole exclaimed.
"Somebody help! Stop, Prancer!" Lisa called.
"We're coming!" Stevie exclaimed.
"Hold on, Lisa!" Carole called.
"Prancer, stop, please!" Lisa called.
"Lisa, hold on!" Stevie called out.
"We're nearly there, Lisa." Carole called.
"Help! Prancer!" Lisa called.
The boy rode alongside Lisa.
"Easy, boy! Whoa, boy! Whoa, boy! Easy, boy. Hang on. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Easy, boy." the 16-year-old said to his horse.
Lisa was breathless.
"You did well to stay on, hi, I'm Rafael." the boy said.
"Hi, I'm Lisa." Lisa panted breathlessly.
"Lisa... Lisa... Lisa... Lisa... Lisa..." Carole repeatedly called from the aisle seat nect to Lisa's.
"What is it, Carole?" Lisa asked.
"We've arrived at Camp Rosewood!" Carole reminded Lisa.
"Oh!" Lisa exclaimed.
Lisa and the other Rosewood campers grabbed their trunks and prepared to disembark the bus.
Five minutes later, the campers were assembled and listening to Jessabelle Green who was called Jessa by her family and friends talk about all there was to do at Camp Rosewood.
"I see some new faces and some familiar faces, hello, everyone!" Jessa exclaimed.
Carole checked her watch.
"I'm just about ready to see where I'll be staying for the summer." Carole sighed irritably.
"Just be patient, Carole." Lisa said.
"Okay, Lisa." Carole sighed.
"Now for last year's caterpillars entering the butterfly age group..." Jessa began.
"That's us, Carole!" Lisa exclaimed.
"This is the summer you get certified! Right after you take the island swim across the lake, let's give a big hand for Ken who heads up the waterfront!" Jessa continued.
Ken Carlton stepped forward.
Hikari looked at Ken, "Looks like we meet again." she said.
While Hikari, Miranda, and Lisa were getting settled in, Carole brought her trunk into the bedroom in Doe Cabin.
Lisa was lying on her bunk which had the sky window over it.
"Good news! Carole," Lisa exclaimed. "I decided to reserve the lower bunk just for you!"
Carole moved her trunk to the foot of the bunk bed that she shared with Lisa.
"Thanks, Lisa." Carole said.
Carole started unpacking a few things as Lisa climbed down from her bunk.
