What if Deku was Brightside?

Psychopath

It was a dark earie night, even for Bakugo, this was his first field mission alone, usually he would be with the shitty-haired kirishima or that scatter brained Denki.

But this time he was on his own, but this night was different, more silent, unusually so. He pulled a piece of paper from his pocket and read it aloud. "The villain Brightside was spotted on camera footage in the local area, search the local area and try to capture him. Beware Bakugo, they are dangerous, don't be reckless." As if that stupid yellow faced freak could stand up to me." Grumbled bakugo to himself. To him, this yellow faced freak was just another criminal, not even a villain.

As he was wandering around, looking for someone wearing way too much yellow. He wandered around for what seemed like hours, he heard a scream, it lasted for a couple of seconds then got cut off. Bakugo immediately ran toward the noise, and it led him to an alley. In the alley was a figure standing over a body, the figure had bright yellow hair, their feat looked bird-like, but covered in yellow feather like fur, the figure was wearing an oversized grey long-sleeved shirt which covered his wrists, and dark grey long pants.

After spotting and noting the figures appearance, he looked at the body, it appeared to be a woman, and there was blood pooling around the body. "DIE!" Yelled Bakugo as he charged for the figure. Bakugo charged for the figure and was quickly in blasting range, just as he was about to blast the figure it leaned to the side at inhuman speed, Bakugo went speeding past, he reorientated himself and landed a few feet away from the figure. Bakugo could now see the figures face, the figure was wearing a mask, it was the same yellow colour as the hair. There were two big circles that served as eye holes, and a large stripe like mouth formed a smile. The holes were pitch black.

Bakugo recognized this mask, it belonged to Brightside. "Well, well well… Looks like a hero has come to get me." The masked villain then began to chuckle. "WHATS SO FUNNY?!" Yelled out bakugo in anger. "You really want to know? Well, I'm going to tell you whether you want me to or not. I was expecting more." Remarked the killer. This seemed to have set Bakugo off, as he roared with rage and launched toward Brightside.

As the hero came flying toward Brightside, time seemed to slow as the hero came within within striking range, Brightside then stepped to the side just as the hero was slowly flying past him, then with a flick of his wrist, he left a cut on his cheek, then the hero landed a couple feet away from him.

Bakugo had landed a couple feat ahead of Brightside, the yellow-faced freak had dodged at that inhuman speed. Bakugo was beyond pissed, but then he felt something warm run down his face, upon a closer look, it was blood coming from a cut on his cheek. When he looked up he saw Brightside with his arm level with his face, a knife with fresh blood dripping from the tip. "Alright hero, it was fun, but I'm afraid I have to cut it off for now…" Brightside then turned his back on Bakugo. "Lets meet again sometime… hero." Brightside then disappeared in a blur, leaving Bakugo Alone, with the dead body.

Frustrated, Bakugo pulled out his phone and called Kirishima. It rung for a few seconds then he picked up. "Whats up Bakubro? Did you find him?" Asked Kirishima. "Yes, and I lost him." Answered Bakugo with a defeated tone. "But I have some new info about him now." "Well, that's better than nothing, make sure to tell Aizawa." Bakugo then hung up the phone. He stared at the direction Brightside ran away, he would never underestimate the villain again, he was no ordinary criminal, or villain. No quirk would allow someone to move at that speed, not even Lida could move that fast and that smoothly. Whoever he was, he was not to be underestimated.

Izuku woke up as tired as ever, light barely shined through the cracks in the boards covering the window. Izuku got up as usual, and walked to the small kitchen, If there was one benefit with having a parasite attached to your brain, was that it would often do chores for him, only because Izuku would be so tired that he would barely be able to move, one of the cons of the thing taking control of his body, was that he wouldn't sleep that well.

Izuku then started making his morning coffee. He put a cup in the machine, pressed start, and the machine started to do its magic, while it was busy he loaded some bread into the toaster and pressed on the lever. "Let me guess, you killed someone didn't you?" Asked Izuku to no one in sight. "Of course, I did, what else would I do?" Answered a silent voice. "Anything special happen?" "As a matter of fact, something unexpected did happen." Answered the voice. "What would that be?" Asked Izuku in Sarcastic curiosity. "A hero managed to find me." Answered the parasite. "That's interesting, who was it? Death Arms? Snipe? It was Eraser head wasn't it?" Asked Izuku with genuine curiosity. "It was some newbie or trainee, a very angry fellow. He had grenade-like gauntlets, a really sharp headwear on his head, very bold, and easily taunted."

"Huh, must be a newbie with too much prid-." Izuku was interrupted by the sudden explosion of his coffee machine, then the sizzle of a dying toaster. This startled Izuku, as he jumped with inhuman speed and precision, he landed at the far corner of the kitchen. "Holy All Might!" Exhaled Izuku. "Are you kidding me? We just fucking got that!" Complained the parasite. "For fucking once I agree with you." Angerly agreed Izuku. "Whelp, I hoped I didn't have to go out today, but since my toaster and coffee machine just exploded, we'll have to go out." Mumbled Izuku. "Great… Just great." After a couple of minutes, Izuku was ready to go. After breathing a sigh, stepped out into the hall.

The hero and bakugo were sitting in the teachers' lounge at U.A. The hero Infront of him looked extremely tired, like he hadn't slept in days. "Alright Bakugo, what information do you have?" Asked the tired hero. Bakugo felt humiliated, not only had he lost the villain, but failed to even lay a finger on the villain. "Well I now know what sort of abilities he has." Explained Bakugo." Explain." Ordered Aizawa. "He's fast, like abnormally fast, you know how fast Lida is?" asked the ash blonde. "Yes. Why is this important?" Asked the tired hero. "Now imagine him three times as fast with no wind resistance". Aizawa seemed to understand.

"I never saw it coming." Muttered the ash blonde. Bakugo was silent, which was abnormal for the boy, Aizawa could tell that he wasn't taking the loss well, he knew that he viewed Brightside as less than a criminal, and clearly reality had punched him in the face, and he was currently revaluating his previous view on the villain. "Well, it's not much, but it's a start. Go get some rest. You need it." Replied Aizawa. "Fine…" quietly replied Bakugo. He then stood up, and quietly left. Aizawa wasn't too worried about bakugo, he knew that this loss wouldn't hold him back for long. He sighed, and then climbed into his sleeping bag and went to sleep.
