Where am I? I cant remember a thing. My body feels oddly weak and fragile. Both of my arms are being pulled on by two Purge Troopers.
It really Happened...
"L-let...me...g-go." I whimper
"Shut up scum. Noone permitted you to speak." One of the troopers say, continuing this stroll to nowhere
The Trooper and myself stop at a big metallic door, as the other Trooper punched in some kind of code, allowing the door to open. My body was brought to a chair, arms and legs being restrained to the damn thing. How the hell did this happen? I shouldn't be here, I should be with my friends. I should be helping train the next generation of Jedi. Instead, I have two lousy Purge Troopers treating me no better than a womp rat.
After my body was completely restrained to the chair, The Troopers left, leaving me in silence. Its oddly peaceful, noting noone is around. This wouldnt be so bad if I wasnt in the grasp of The Empire however. I lean my head back, looking up at the ceiling. It was nothing special, just a plain metal room with some ventilation that was to far out of my reach. I try moving my legs and hands to no avail, the Empire really wasnt messing around when it came to capturing Jedi.
My eyes linger around the room once more, trying to find some sort of imperfection I could take advantage of. In the far right of the room laid a control pad, that i assumed opened the door from the inside. Problem is I have no way to reach it, nor any code to open it.
Movement from outside the metallic door catches my attention. As the large door opened, in walked Two Purge Troopers. One carrying a Lance while the other carried a rifle. Both of them notched closer to me, until the lance wielded Trooper hit me right in the face. My head shot back, as blood leaked from my nose. I was stunned, and completely out of it.
"Is this what qualifies as a Jedi? Your telling me I trained my entire life for this? What a joke."
Honestly, it wouldnt be necessary for The Inquisitors to get involved either."
"Maybe...its because im...strapped to this...*cough* stupid chair...with no way to defend myself."
They both turn their heads, glaring directly at me. They walk over, undo my restraints, and assume a battle stance. This is hardly fair, as I had just gotten hurt earlier, and I dont have a weapon, unlike these two.
I swing my fist at the trooper, hitting him in his helmet. As he fell backwards hitting the floor, the other Trooper grabbed me, throwing my body into the for a mentioned metallic door. My body arched itself as my back took most of the blow. The Trooper walks over to my body, grabbing my hair. With one swift motion, he gets me to my feet, colliding his fist to my jaw. I fall back to the ground, grabbing my face in pain.
Before the two Troopers could do anymore damage, they seas the beatdown, facing the now opened metallic door. They both grab their weapons, stepping away from my body.
"S-second Sister." One of them say, shockingly
"You two are no longer needed. Leave at once." She states coldly
Without saying another word, the two Troopers quickly leave the room, leaving Trilla and I alone. The thought of that sickened me.
I slowly sit up from the floor, leaving my aching body against a wall. There standing a few meters away from me was The Second Sister, her helmet staring daggers into me.
"I see you've finally awakened." She says "It seems like your luck caught up to you after all."
"Dont talk to me." I say, shooting daggers at Trilla.
"Unwise Padawan. Know your place. You arent with your pathetically weak crew anymore. And they arent coming to save you either."
"Your wrong. They will come back for me. They will find me and I'll finally end you along with it."
Trilla laughs
"Bold words coming from you. Is that why you lost our last duel at this exact place, or are you having memory isssues."
"What do you mean? I didnt loose, you lost the duel, I bested you in combat."
"Then can you explain why I have this?"
My eyes widen as Trilla pulls out Master Cordova's Holocron.
"H-how do you have that? Where's Cere? Tell me now."
"Cere's whereabouts should be the least of your concerns. Your real concerns begin if you do not comply with The Empire."
"You can forget it. I'll never help you or The Empire. All you do is destroy and concur."
"A typical response from a Jedi. My mission is for you to open this Holocron and reveal the locations of every one of those children."
I shake my head, covering my ears. I did not want to hear anymore of this banter.
"I am not opening that Holocron. It doesnt belong to you at all-"
Within an instant, The Second Sister appears in front of me, her hand firmly wrapped around my throat. My body is lifted from the ground and slammed back into the wall, her hand still wrapped around my neck. I try and force her hand away from my throat, only for The Second Sister to tighten her grip. My airways are running thin and theres not much more I can do to hold out.
A thought came into my nearly faded brain. What really happened after I beat Trilla? I do remember grabbing the Holocron and Cere coming in moments after to try and bring Trilla back to the light. Cere and I went to The Fortress with no intention of hurting anyone, but in the end, we knew that was not possible. I must have killed at least a hundred different Storm Troopers to reach Trilla.
Cordova's Holocron is important, it still is. The fact that The Second Sister and The Empire got their hands on it frightens me. Those children were going to be trained by Cere and I. We'd hope those children in due time, would grow up to be great Jedi Knights. They were going to be enough to stop the Empire, those dreams of salvation and freedom are dashed now.
My eyes returned to match the red visor of The Second Sister's Helmet. Her hand released my neck, allowing my body to fall back onto the metallic floor with a sickening thud. My lungs were on fire, as if I had just stuck myself in a lava river.
"Listen well Cal. You will remain in this cell until further notice. This wont be the last time you see me however. I recommend that you think hard and well. It's up to you how well your stay here goes going foreward." The Second Sister says, exiting the room.
I pull myself up from the floor with much effort of course. Her power seemed more, deadly then it had after our last encounter. Her speed, it was almost like she teleported over to me, it was that fast. The grip that she had on my neck, she could have killed me there and then but, I know why she didnt. The Empire is forcing her to interrogate me until I open the Holocron.
My will isnt broken yet, there going to have to try harder than that. Master Tapal taught me many things, one of the most important things he taught me was patience and the will to never give up. If I was to give into The Second Sister, I would be throwing out the lives of those children, and the sacrifice my Master did to save me.
I sat back on the far right of the room, relaxing my body. Meditating only seemed right, any amount of time I could waste there then here is ideal. I opened my eyes to be met with this others on The Stinger Mantis. Everyone were sitting nicely on the sofa, eating Greez's signature cooking. I had to stop myself from crying, realizing this was only a mere vision. My thoughts shift back to the Mantis however, it was destroyed, no sign of Cere, Greez, Merrin or BD-1. A couple Purge Troopers emerged from the rumble, carrying Cere and Merrin's lifeless corpses. Greez followed suit, however he was detained by a regular Scout Trooper. The Second Sister and The Ninth Sister landed their ships, making their way over to my crew, my friends. The Ninth sister grabbed Greez and BD-1, throwing them into her ship, before returning to The Second Sister's side.
I slowly begin to realize that this wasnt a vision, this is actually what happened to us. After the fight with The Second Sister, a man appeared. He simply pushed her aside with the force before returning his gaze to both Cere and I. His power was nothing I had experienced before. Every strike of his lightsaber was enough to knock me off my feet. I fought hard but in the end, Cere and I barely escaped with our lives.
My eyes darted opened, thick glossy sweat dripped from my forehead. The door of the cell I was in opened, revealing 4 Purge Troopers. They made their ways over to me, grabbing me by my legs and arms. I tried to fight it but I was far to weak from the punishment I endeared prior. I slowly let my eyes shut, peacefully taking my body and brain to the land of the dark.
Well damn...first chapter is in the books. I'll tell you what, I had a ton of fun writing it.
