lets make someone suffer

i hope ill do it good... ahh

Damnit... Romano cursed under his breath. He overslept. 30 minutes... this day was starting great. His brother wasnt feeling well now too. Dumb Germany.. dumb pandemic shit.. i hate life... he had also spilled his coffee earlier. To Romanos defence, he was tired. And why the hell wasnt the bastard up yet... should he wake him up?- Nah, his fault. Thats what clocks are for, arent they? Romano scoffed. The bus would arrive in about 10 minutes. He'd wait another 5, the he'd wake up Spain. Just for the laugh he'd let out when he sees the look on the others face when he heard the bus would be there in 5 minutes. But something about this whole thing was off... please tell me this isnt happening.. Romano jumped up from the couch and walked, faster than normal, to the apartment room. Knocking hesitantly, he called out.

"... tomato bastard..?"

...

"Spain-?"

More rapid knocking. Now Romano was getting impatient. Even more knocking. Nononononononono...

"Spain, open this fucking door, bastardo!"

He was getting impatient. Very impatient. Romano wanted to break down that door, to shout for his friend to open up the door. He didnt. Instead, he opened the door, slowly peeking through. That damn idiot was... still asleep..? Spain never overslept before. Maybe one time... this was either really happening or the bastard didnt sleep the night before. But he can most certainly remember that they went to bed at the same time. Romano didnt have time to think; the bus was coming in 5 minutes and he had to check if Spain was alright... he was a light sleeper, Romano wasnt. So the big question was, why was that idiot still asleep.. Romano made his way over to his sleeping friend and shook him.

"Spain, wake the fuck up..! The bus is gonna be there in 5 minutes.."

That did not work as he expected. Not good. Not, not good. Very ungood.

"Spagna-! You bastard-"

A soft mumble. It was something... Romano continued to shake him.

".. romaa... its too early.."

That was a lie. It was already 8 am. Romano sighed to himself. This was a big problem. How was he gonna survive the meeting.. ahh everything comes crashing down and-

"What time was it again, roma...?"

"It's 8 am, bastardo..-"

"Que- I overslept- wasnt there a world meeting just today(?!)- oh dios mío-"

Romano let out a forced laugh to stop Spain from panicking further. He wasnt going anywhere today. The italian would survive. Since Germany wasnt there no one would bother him for being late anyway. The older nation gace him a hesitant glance he couldnt keep up for long. Man, he was tired..

"This is just...- fuuuck my life- now you have it aswell..."

"But I feel fine Roma-"

"As if, have you looked into a mirror today- you look like shit. So drop the fucking act. Spagna."

A quick glance over to the clock. Yep, he'd missed the bus. Damn it all... now he had to call somebody. But Romano obviously didnt have any numbers of nations...(even if that was a must)

But, first things first. He held out his hand on Spains forehead. Damn the guy was burning. Country of passion and fire would suit him better now... the spanisch nation melted into the touch, exhaling. Not good. Not good. Not good... he still had to tell the others he'd come later... but who should he call.. who could he call. There were no contact numbers on his phone so... god damnit..

"Alright... um- how- how do you feel-"

He tried. Caring wasn't Romanos thing, he'd try. Just this once.. A soft sigh came from the other when Romano took his hand back.

"Roma... -(another)sigh-.. this is nonsense.. I shouldn't be laying here just because of a sickness..."

The Italian let out a sudden laugh in frustration. This damn idiot doesn't take this serious.

"Do you remember the civil war?"

A hesitant nod.

"Good. You stayed home then, and now you're gonna stay here aswell... so I'll ask you again; how do you feel?"

"Hm.. my whole body feels heavy... and I can't see straight.."

Spain closed his eyes, he already despised this whole thing. He couldn't move, nor could he keep his head clear.

"What's your phone pin..[?]"

"What-"

That was unexpected. Why did Romano need his phone--

"Just tell me, damnit!"

Ouch. Too loud. Romano seemed to notice as he muttered a light sorry.

"It's.. 3141(random ig)"

"Thanks"

...

Beep

"This is getting out of hand.."

Canada muttered, his gaze wandering around the room. About half the countries weren't there. England stayed in the apartment with France aswell. America- he was still fine.. Austria wasn't there aswell. No wonder. South Italy and Spain were also absent. Unsusual... he sighed, his attention turning to Russia, who was currently threatening America with his magic metal pipe of pain... even the thought of any hit from that sent showers down his spine.

...

Beep bee-

"Konichiwa..?"

(Hello)

"Sushi bastard.."

"Ah- south Italy.. I'm assuming it's because of your absence...?"

"Ehm... yes. I'll be there shortly- I uh.. missed my bus.. give me 20 minutes"

"Hai, take-"

Beeep

"- care..."

Japan sighed, sitting down in his seat. There were still a few calls he was waiting for. And all the stuff he had to keep in mind. How does Germany normally do this...?

"Japan...?"

The Japanese snapped out of his thoughts, turning to look at whoever needed him... Canada?

"Yes, Canada? Is there something you need?"

The nation hesitated, not meeting eyes with Japan.

"Do you... do you know how.. if we get outta this situation.."

The sentence was hard to understand, but Japan could manage.

"Hai, scientists and our people are already working on a vaccine.. there's no need to worry."

He sent Canada one of his reassuring smiles, who smiles back lightly.

And now, back to the news. The new virus has extended to the point of a crisis. The west side of Europe has been hit pretty bad. The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal and more. The numbers of infections are increasing daily. Scientists are working on a functioning vaccine as fast as they can and we have some good news, because it looks like they're on the way to find a cure. Also, the thief of the...

Silence followed. A few nervous, scared glances, but no one talked. A minute of silence. Until America spoke up.

"So, we're all gonna be fine... right?"

"Hai, we just need to wait and see."

...

*huawai ringtone*

Japan coughed, opening his pc. A call he waited for long enough.

"Konichiwa, England."

"Hello to you aswell, Japan. And to the rest aswell I guess... so-- stop that you twit! Atleast say hello aswell!"

"Ah Oui, I might as well do so- cough Bonjour~..."

England sighed, the sound of a door closing and opening, silence, boiling water. Then, front camera activated.

"I apologize for the rough start, so I assume you have questions.. how about you share new informations.."

Japan nodded, his gaze wandering up from the pc to the others, then back.

"I think you've heard the news."

"No, I didn't get to hear the news. I was... busy.. everything's so overwhelming- it's stressing me out and I assume everyone else aswell... I- I don't even have the time to sleep at night anymore.. the thought of something happening- to him... to any of you it's sleep-depriving.. and I don't know how long this can continue before-"

The Brit stopped himself. Man, that was embarrassing.. a long silence broke out. England coughed, his face had turned into a tint of red.

"Ahem... I uh- apologise for that... little venting... I suppose I had to tell someone..."

"Oh no, it's no problem, really. I think we all can agree on that.."

Japan shot a quick glare at whoever dared to protest. The last thing any of them needed was another fight breaking out.

"They better find some cure soon.. so, who else is absent"

"The west. Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands.. France, Portugal, Spain, Germany.. we dont know about the nordics since they didn't attend in any of these meetings..."

"So far so- bad..."

England sighed, taking a sip from his tea. Japan studied his features. Tired was one word to describe him. Worn out was another. What did he expect? The poor country was worked out...

"So, Britain... any improvement on France?"

The English country shook his head, sighing deeply.

"No improvements whatsoever. He's still coughing pretty bad.. i don't think hes getting better any time soon..."

Not good. Someone has to find the cure. As long as the disease doesn't spread over the ocean to America or anywhere else, there's still hope.

"I just hope this doesn't last any longer. I think I speak for everyone when I say this whole thing sucks.. Ah I'm afraid my time here's up for now."

"Hai, thank you for calling. Take care, England."

"I will, you and everyone else aswell. Goodbye."

Beep

Japan sighed. No good news. The radio woman lied. Who is even working on that vaccine.(kind of everyone but yes-)

"What do we do now?"

"Listen to more fucking news about how everything's gonna be fine maybe."

"The awesome me is back!"

It echoed through the whole room. Austria sighed, his head sinking deeper into his arms. Prussia let out one of his obnoxious laughs, putting away the groceries. Can't he be a little more quiet... a bit more respectful..? His headache had increased to the point he could barely think straight sometimes. Thus, there were no painkillers left. And they didn't restock them yet. That's what Prussia was going to tell him in 3, 2, 1...

"Here are the promised pills you needed, Roddy. Last ones. Pretty lucky if you'd ask me- haha!"

Austria groaned in frustration. Atleast he got what he promised.

"Thank you.. I appreciate it very much, Prussia. Now if you could please-"

With a thud, a glass of water landed before him. Prussia had a smug smile on his face, fairly proud of himself. But happiness wasn't the emotion for these times right now. He didn't see Germany in a few days and when he looked at Austria, who looked dead.. he didn't want to see his brother like this. He let out a sigh, settling down besides his friend, putting an arm around Austrias shoulder.

"How ya feelin? Any improvements yet?"

Austria shook his head. Speaking was too much for him anyway. Every little movement hurt, sending waves of pain down his spine. He felt like going through a horror migraine. Also, faint nausea wasn't making this any better. Also, he overheard Prussia, who was very pissed off now.

"Specs- sag mal, spreche ich mit der Luft oder was-?!"

(Am I speaking to air, or what?!)

Austria glanced over to him. He was exhausted and now felt sorry for not listening. (Even tho it would've been better not to anyways--)

"Was...? Tut mir leid.. ich bin einfach sehr müde. Entschuldige mich bitte.."

(What... sorry.. I'm just very tired/exhausted. Please, excuse me..)

He muttered, standing up, making his way towards the couch(he'd claimed a few days ago- not without an argument of course...) on what he collapsed. Prussia sighed, making his way towards Germanys room. His little brother would be happy to see him, and not turn away from him. But then again, he couldn't blame Austria.

"Little Brother~ ich bin zurück. Brauchst du irgendwas?"

(I'm back. Do you need something?)

He called, knocking on the door before entering. His brother was asleep, Prussia recognises the little kid side that his brother still had. He'd never admit that out loud tho-

Someone who wouldn't send him away for being there and talking. So, Prussia took the working chair and sat down. He then began to talk about his day, what he did and that he was worried. He also mentioned he wanted to go back to the world meetings and help the others. Then... he started talking about.. more unpleasant things in life...

Old memories.

(What did you think- 0_0...)

"And do you remember that one time when we took Austria with us and went to the park?- oh and then there was this kid that wanted ice cream so friggin bad he screamed at his mother- oh and then he wanted to feed a pidgeon that didn't just bite him- but even shvt on his head- haha! That was soo hilarious.."

When he calmed down, there was silence. And then, a chuckle.

"I must admit, that was funny..."

Prussia's gaze flew over to Germany, who was- smiling(?) at him. The first time since he'd become sick. The Prussian let out one of his laughs and smiled with his brother at the funny memory. These times should never come to an end...
