"So…you have met one of the Soth Uh'eogg."

"Yeah, no way am I saying that." Van Helsing told Providence back at base. "I call them the Abyssal Lords. We fought the bird one. I call him the Eldritch Elder. Fear seems to know the threat we posed, because this guy claimed that they were his greatest worshippers."

"Ah yes, Mgepog'drn. How fitting. The Great Old Ones and Outer Gods still remain in the Dream World. Thus they send eight of their most powerful minions into the physical realm to lead the Deadite legions."

Providence conjured forth dark images on the war table. The first was of a two-headed hooded wizard, half-human and half-abomination. The left side was human, albeit dark and corrupted. Meanwhile, the right side was very deformed, with multiple eyes, tentacles for fingers, and no mouth alongside another eye, possibly more on the exposed skin.

"Fm'latghor. In your words, I would have to call him the Acolyte. His fire chars both mind, body, and soul. It is far worse than hellfire. Beware the black and purple cosmic flames. For they burn even the flames of demons."

Another image formed. This time, it seemed like a smaller version of Great Cthulhu, with a single tentacle for its left arm.

"N'ghft Ainah. The Dark Whisperer. He commands a swarm of Deadite insects, their very sting causing madness and loss of self. He is the one that is mostly connected to his higher masters. And is deadly in both sea and sky as he is on land."

A third formed. It became a maddening warrior with eyes all over the body, a single eye on the head like a Cyclops, a barbed tail, horns, and a second mouth on the chest. Tentacles flowed downward on the head like disturbing hair.

"Ah'n'gha'drn. The Slayer. The only thing he loves more than killing the mind is killing the body. He will break you physically before breaking you mentally. It matters not if you are dead or not. You will become a Deadite regardless. He is skilled with his blood-stained spear, in both close and ranged combat. And he can call it back into his hand should it ever leave his grasp."

"Well…it seems that I have a rival…" Wargon chuckled. A fourth formed. A cursed knight in dark armor, large horns sticking from the sides of the helmet. Only purple eyes were all that was seen under the helmet. And it wielded an eldritch falchion blade and a screaming shield that resembled the face of Great Cthulhu, with four eyes and a fifth on the forehead.

"Ah'n'ghayar. The Knight. Those cut with his blade succumb to madness, and the shield breathes forth eldritch fire and shoots grasping tentacles to pull in his victims. He is also just as brutal and violent as the Slayer, preferring to kill before corrupting."

"Oh HELL yeah! TWO rivals!" The Deadly Sin of Wrath chuckled. "This day just keeps getting better and better!"

"For one of us." Lushara only sighed.

The fifth image that formed was that of another in Great Cthulhu's image, with a massive ax with the blade forming from a screaming skull, and a shield with many gaping teeth and an eye in the center. There was a similar maw in the torso as well.

"Mgn'ghftor. The Executioner. Powerful enough to cause raging storms and flooding rains of torrent. His ax cleaves through all, and his shield devours all attacks. But what is most fearsome is his ability to grow to colossal sizes. He becomes even more durable in this form, and his ax can cleave even mountains and cut deep enough to create a second Grand Canyon."

"But of course!" Lisa said sarcastically. "It wouldn't be great and old if it wasn't giant as well."

"It led the Deep Ones to attack Atlantis." Kruu added. "Had it taken that gigantic form, I fear that not even the Kraken could kill it."

A sixth image took the form of a robed wizard, his skin as black as the void, with glowing purple eyes and a white beard. Like the Eldritch Elder, he also had a staff, seeming like a cross between a trident and a demonic pitchfork. Black waters surrounded him, as did massive tentacles with multiple eyes and mouths.

"N'ghanyth. The Sorcerer. He summons hideous beings and maddening monsters to serve him. The very waters are forced to obey every single one of his corrupted command. The tides twist and tremble in terror before they are blackened and poisoned. Through his power, and with the aid of Father Dagon and Mother Hydra, the Deep Ones grow ever stronger."

"Ugh…Great Poseidon…" Kruu moaned. "It seems Wargon isn't the only one with multiple rivals…"

The seventh image was one that Van Helsing knew. The black bird wizard.

"Mgepog'drn. The Eldritch Elder. He is the oldest of them, and the most experienced. His dark tainted light can blind and corrupt. You and the Okash were lucky to survive, Van Helsing. That was but a mere fraction of his power. For he can enchant his minions to mutate and transform into beings even more hideous and terrifying than before."

"He must've been about to do that when I shot his staff right in that big ugly eye." The hunter replied. "Those mummies were already tough with that curse. The last thing we needed were them to become stronger and more freaky in appearance."

And finally, an eight image showed a horned armored figure with an armor tail, purple glowing eyes, and a powerful staff tipped with black draconic heads with purple eyes and fire.

"Ah'n'gha'drn. The Warrior. He is a ruthless and skilled warrior, fighting as if he has never even heard of the word 'honor'. Much like all of his brothers, those he kills are brought back as mindless Deadites. But he is the one who leads the most of them in his army. And he always seeks to 'recruit' as many more as he can. But what you must beware most of all…are his clones."

"Yeah, I'm not signing up to fight on his side." Cory adds.

"The Abyssal Lords will seem powerful to the likes of you, but they are nothing compared to the power of the Outer Gods, the Great Old Ones, Cthulhu, and even Azathoth. You will need my help to defeat them. We are all that stands between them and omniversal annihilation."

"So, yeah. No pressure." Lisa stated. It was then that another portal opened, and the three Okash brothers emerged from it.

"Well, we finally have good news for once!" Sasquatch stated. "While the pillar is being guarded, Everest seems to know a place where we can get the Ancient Arcana energy needed to get the fourth pillar up and running at full power! The homeland of the rest of our Yeti kin: The fabled city of Shangri-La!"

"That's in the Kunlun Mountains!" Cory realized. "In China!"

"As pleasing as this is, there could be the possibility that Fear is also aware of this." Providence warned. "You must hurry. His dark forces could be there right now, as we speak!"

There was no time to waste. Van Helsing primed a portal there, and he led Providence, Cory, Lisa, Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Everest, the Dark Family, and Mark with him.
