After 13.7 billion years. After countless eons of dreaming and waiting and watching and plotting. Finally, the stars were right. The planets were aligned. And the city of R'lyeh shot up, possessed by a demonic cosmic force, until it exploded completely out of the waters, reaching into the sky like a great capital of chaos incarnate.

Using the great cosmic energy, Fear cast himself from his decayed home dimension of the Void, traveling through the Dream World into the physical reality of the universe. He felt his soul enter the body that he molded, forged in the image of his great-great grandson.

Now, Azathoth, the Blind Idiot God, was reborn after the Great Dreamer, dread Cthulhu.

With a mighty roar, and the incredible newfound strength of its new physical body, it broke free from its restraints with the force of a mighty mountain! The wings spread so wide that they seemed to black out the sky itself.

The city gave way as that…that…THING emerged! One look. All it took was one look, to rend all nightmarish thoughts asunder. What followed was a great ecstasy unlike any other.

The screams. The screams of pure fear and madness. It relished in it. It whispered for all who gazed upon it to shout and kill, then succumb to the eldritch mire.

No one could resist. Finally, after a few years of ignorance, the so-called Midnight Society turned on themselves. They killed, they slaughtered, they murdered. Brother against brother. Mother against daughter. And not even the dead were spared his wrath.

Laughter. It had already won. There was nothing the world could do to stop it. It, the horror so terrible that I DARE not speak its name!

It spread its long arms and took a big crashing step out of the city. Eventually the trauma and insanity became so much that all those who survived ended up dying of sheer fright at the sight of a horror that no mortal mind could comprehend. Lovecraft had fulfilled his dark destiny. He had no use for the Ultimate anymore.

The necrotic ground ran red with blood, as all who lay upon the poison city soon became nothing but corpses. The squid-head's eyes shone like dead moons, and with a dark and ominous glare!

With every step it took, the waters of the lake roiled and thrashed. In its wake, the stony islands crumbled – no. Changed. As if they were reshaping themselves. But into what, no one could say. Again, it spoke. Again, the air pulsed and her head throbbed with the awful weight of its voice.

"PH'NGLUI MGLW'NAFH CTHULHU R'LYEH WGAH-NAGL FHTAGN. CAHF AH NAFL MGLW'NAFH HH' AHOR SYHA'H AH'LEGETH, NG LLLL OR'AZATH SYHA'HNAHH N'GHFTEPHAI N'GHA AHORNAH AH'MGLW'NAFH. IA! IA! CTHULHU FHTAGN!"

I dare not show such an accursed speech, for those who look upon it may lose themselves in maddening insanity, or worse. FAR worse.

The sky was the color of gangrene and the rain tasted of salt water. The clouds above roiled, contorting themselves into vague, ugly shapes. A tremor ran through the forests, and birds rose into the sky in a shrieking mass.

The world had slumbered for millennia, and dreamed itself of a more pleasant reality. But now it was waking up, and the dream was fading. Its oldest and truest master had awakened at last. The seas would boil and the ground would crack. Mankind would turn from the gods of their fathers, and learn new ways to revel and kill.

The sky had grown dark now, and she could feel his stirring in her bones. The gods would be as nothing before him, struggling though they might. He was older than the oldest of the gods – and his power was beyond their understanding.

It had risen. And madness followed in its wake.

Using dark and terrible and great cosmic power beyond any understanding, it began to merge. Fusing all dimensions in the universe into one single reality. Infinite Mystic Maws of Madness formed in the distorted sky, beginning to suck it all away.

All efforts to stop it were in vain. Superheroes suffered one last agonizing defeat and death. Atlanteans drowned in their own blood. Amazons were slain by their lust for battle and war. The Okash became an extinct myth. And the Makai Demons suffered torment for all eternity.

Unicorns faded from believability. Dragons were killed one after the other. It opened the gateway for all of its heralds and kin. Nyarlathotep, Shub-Niggurath, Hastur, Cthylla, Yog-Sothoth, Kassogtha, Idh-Yaa, and even the Abyssal Lords and Deadites kneeled before their malevolent master.

All worlds were rendered into ruin. Many more Great Old Ones and Outer Gods, the likes of which I dare not speak of or describe, invaded this distortion of reality as the seas ran a bloody crimson, then a chaotic green, then a poisonous black, and finally, a sentient life-draining mysterious color, unlike any seen on Earth.

The land distorted into a nightmarish acropolis, much like R'lyeh before it. The new home was now a grave, succumbing to sheer madness and terror. Nowhere was safe now. Not the Shadow Realm. Not Hell. Not Cyberspace. Not the Mystic Realm. Not the past, not the future, nowhere.

The Reapers could not take its soul. Before they faded, the ghosts of the Realm Walkers inflicted it with a zillion Mourning Curses. But it had no grief or pain to let go of. Whereas any sane man would be broken by such trauma, it shook it off like a mere mosquito bite!

Kaijus fell crashing to the ground like skyscrapers! None stood a chance against it. Those who did not go mad at the sight were instead ripped to pieces by the tentacles and sheer might of the gargantuan being! And mere machines could do nothing as well! NOTHING!

The dark future that they tried to prevent finally came to pass. The past, present, and future were all now one. Existence was now a distorted incomprehensible unfathomable amalgamation of reality, space, and time! The mind, body, and soul were all dead. Vampires sucked out their own blood! Werewolves mauled each other to pieces! No monster that had ever come before could match such an indescribable nightmarish feat of sheer horror and terror!

The Menace would give in and laugh. Dracula would be tormented and forced to obey against his will. Darkwell would die. Imhotep would herald all cults into worshiping the TRUE God. Curly would be so terrified, he couldn't even scream!

And Slappy. Slappy the Dummy. This would be an act SO evil, SO horrible, SO nightmarishly cruel, that not even HE could ever hope to match it! He would just be an insignificant toy, tossed aside by the little boy who no longer wanted him. As had it happened so many times before.

It lumbered towards the corrupted Nexus Gateway, each step shaking the planet like an earthquake, making mountains erupt and oceans flood! The Reality Police were gone. The Starry Knights were slain. And the Temporal Order was nothing but literal history as of now. The Supreme Court of the Unified Universe…was supreme no longer.

So too did the three cults of Infinity fall as well. Cerebrum. The Power. And the Lost Ones, now lost forever.

The gargantuan fist plunged into the earth, and ripped out a powerful purple fiery crystal, gigantic to some, but small to others like it. The eyes only narrowed with another chuckle.

And with a swift, single motion, the Eldritch Horror crushed the Godstone in its bare claw, chattering it into infinite pieces!

The fabric of existence began to unravel. The universe began to let out a death cry as the corruption spread across space and time like the deadliest of viruses. The six guardians of Omni…were too late.

Growing into the cosmic abyss to meet them, It brought out its full power and true form, glowing and crackling a malevolent purple with black cosmic blobs, red pulsing energy, and a swirling tornado of mad cosmic dark antimatter that formed into the legs! With a thunderous step, it left the dead and mad planet of Earth and entered the great cosmos of space.

It was growing more powerful by the second. If it couldn't be stopped now…there would be no tomorrow for all that existed…
