Chapter 1
"Damn these Sentients!"
Bolts of Tau energy rushed past a woman in pure white, black and gold colours. She dashed to the side, saving a few of her shields from the Ortholyst's mortar energy, and sprinted to her Liset. Seven Corpus drones dropped from her Liset and rained plasma bolts at the Sentients, but they were quickly dealt with by the opposing force. The Tenno jumped on her ship as Tau energy hammered against her weak shields, giving way with a pop. With the unbearable pain of her armour being fused to her flesh, her ship rumbled to life as bolts of Tau pierced through its thinly armoured hull. The ship jolted and then stopped, the pod opened up for her to drop on the cold ferrosteel floor as she panted.
Bark!
She lifted her head to see her fellow companion, an infested hound or Helminth Charger. Its proboscis tongue wrapped around her arm as it released a pitiful sound from its mouth, this made the woman chuckle before coughing.
"I'm fine Siri," She slurred, her voice gentle but dry, "Just a little sore is all."
She slowly picked herself up and made her way towards the arsenal bay with Siri trotting next to her. She attached herself and transmission out of her warframe, she turned to see her battered frame; Titania Prime, queen of the fairies.
She remembered her time becoming a prime in the Orokin era, the only difference between other versions of her warframe was the change of the pink/blue to white and her emissive teal, giving her the actual 'Prime' look.
The remaining Razorflies flew off Titania and swarmed around her, landing on her head to make a small taria, making her giggle. She went to her foundry and quickly fabricated a stim before inserting it into her warframe. The nanites quickly repaired the damaged warframe back to its original state, she smiled and then made her way to her room. The floofs she collected, the fish from the former Fortuna colony and the bedding from Cetus before its glassing. The woman missed those areas during the 'New War' as her old dojo called it. She turned to her left and saw her most recent 'purchase' from Earth, a mirror.
Her black hair was caked with dirt, soot and ash, and her face was fair but covered with dirt the same time with a scar from her eyebrow to her left eye. Her amethyst eyes which were once bright were now dull from the atrocities of the war. Her lithe figure was slightly plump from the food she gained, her Saita Prime suit was caked with dirt and her black scarf was ever so slightly damaged. The woman adjusted her Yureilyst glasses and sighed, she's been fighting the Sentients for seven years (excluding the Old War). By the void she was tired of fighting, the fights are getting more difficult with the Archons leading the Namer forces and her old dojo now laid siege. Narmer is being pushed back by some resistant fights but the amount of them versus the forceful annexation outweighs them.
She slowly entered the forsaken pod that she called 'bed'. With a loud hiss, the pod closed but she an alert from the ship's intercoms.
'Warning, Void storm imminent!'
She tried to transfer to her warframe but felt something odd, her Void was warmer than before. The operator began to panic, her void energy was increasing as she pounded against the pod's door but to no avail. With a final roar, the pod released her into white light.
The star child groaned, hitting her head on a metal scrap; she felt horrible. As her vision adjusted to the light, the fairy queen's operator widened their eyes at the scenery. Trees that weren't tainted by Grineer or Sentients, birds that were long extinct now singing and berries of unknown origin being grown.
She took a breath, the air burned her lungs from the increased amount of oxygen; tears threatened to pour out. Her home took a while to recover from the Grineer's toxic injectors, but Narmar campaigns raze them to the ground; killing everything to hunt down warframes. Rubbing her eyes, she looked around to see her orbiter embedded into the ground but her Liset was nowhere to be seen; the entrance is covered by leaves. She limped her way and entered to find everything somewhat intact, the damnable hemlith is still alive, but her warframe was slumped across the foundry. She dragged it, which was heavy for a scrawny woman like her, to the arsenal and attached it for repairs as its arm was torn off; it takes around eight hours for it to be fully repaired instead of quickly repaired by stims.
She went to her pod to see it slightly crooked with the doors completely torn off, say what you want about the Orokin but they make things built to last; before she could enter, a whine echoed across the room. She turned to see her hemlith charger sleeping behind the pod, she chuckled and scratch her ears. She then entered and closed her eyes as she began to meditate.
In a certain academy, a man with grey hair watched a young girl from his camera. He saw the appearance of a ship as well as seeing the energy reading through the roof, he pondered at this.
"This will be interesting…"
A/N: Well, this is new.
I'm sorry for the delay but the amount of crap I have to go through from High school, as well as dealing with Medical Therapeutics, has left me demoralized. I will try to continue with this story but I'll temporarily put 'A New Era' on hold. See you soon!
