Author's Notes and Obvious Disclaimers

This Animal Crossing story has a unique concept to it, as it crosses over with one of my own franchises known as the Blake Baxter series. Blake Baxter, who is the protagonist of his eponymous series I created just for my FictionPress, serves as the OC in this story and many more that will follow in the Blake Baxter's Magic Library series.

In this story, the first in this spin-off series, Blake, Kelsie, and Melissa, and Blake's best friend Mackenzie go down a golden path and find the titular magic library thanks to Mackenzie, but things turn wrong when Blake pours something called Sparkling Glitter onto a generic Animal Crossing book, leading to an unforgettable adventure through the Animal Crossing universe.

None of the characters from the Animal Crossing series are mine, all rights go to the owners. All I own is the characters from my personal Blake Baxter series.

I really hope you enjoy this unique Animal Crossing story pleasing, enjoyable, and of course, interesting.

Chapter 1: The Magic Library

It was a lovely, bright sunny day in Wolf City Township. Blake Baxter was just walking home from the park with his twin sisters, Kelsie and Melissa. However, as Kelsie and Melissa went on by themselves tgo get home faster, Blake stumbled upon forty dollars in cash on the ground. Knowing that he loved to collect cash from the ground, he picked up the cash without anyone noticing, and went to go catch up with Kelsie and Melissa.

When Kelsie and Melissa returned home, they wondered where Blake was. When Blake stopped in the house, his mother, Helena, wondered what took Blake so long to get home. Blake then told the truth about the forty bucks in cash he found on the ground. Kelsie and Melissa gasped in shock, as well as Henry, the father of the Baxter kids.

"Why the shocked faces on all four of you guys?" Blake asked. "I mean, sure. It IS forty bucks. And maybe I can get the Wii version of Animal Crossing with it!"

"Blake, Blake, Blake…" Helena said to her own son. "First of all, that game cost fifty bucks the last time I checked. How do you have enough money already?" Blake responded, saying that he got the remaining ten dollars from change he received at a Target store downtown.

"Fine, Blake." Helena said. "I believe you. Just go get the game. And take your sisters with you. I need them out of the house for a bit while I discuss something with your dad."

"Alright, mom! Sheesh!" Blake said in an annoying manner. He then went to go get the game.

When Blake got to Chuck's Games and Electronics, a store that sold everything from video games to electronics, he never saw Chuck, the manager, anywhere. However, he decided to wait anyways and have Kelsie and Melissa browse around the store, hoping that they would find something that they would share together. Then, Chuck came out from the back with a PlayStation 1.

"Hello, hello, hello, Blake Baxter." Chuck said. "What may I do for you today?"

"I was busy saving up fifty dollars for Animal Crossing on the Wii." Blake explained to Chuck. "Do you still have it?"

"You are just in time, Blake." Chuck said. "Someone traded in a copy on Tuesday. Would you like to buy it for exactly fifty dollars?" he later asked Blake.

"Sure, Chuck! Thanks!" Blake exclaimed. "Here's the fifty dollars I saved up from my savings."

"OK, Thank you." Chuck said as he accepted the fifty dollars. "Have a nice day, Blake."

"You too, Chuck!" Blake said as he exited the store with Kelsie and Melissa.

When Blake returned home with the game, he put the game in his bedroom, and went back downstairs. However, he wanted to go outside to his best friend Mackenzie's place since he saw her sitting on the bench on her porch, and decided to tell her the good news. However, Kelsie and Melissa decided to follow him to Mackenzie's house.

"Girls, please!" Blake said. "If you insist on coming with me, stick with me at all times."

"Fine, Brother Blake." Kelsie said.

"OK." Melissa said.

When Helena and Henry noticed the kids, they wondered why they weren't going to play their new game. Blake explained to them that he saw Mackenzie, and he wanted to speak with her about the good news. The parents decided to let him go and see Mackenzie.

"What's the matter, Mackenzie?" Blake asked his friend, who looked puzzled about something.

"It's this path." Mackenzie said as she looked down at the ground. "I've been seeing this for the past few days, and I was wondering where it led too. And I've been seeing some construction in the distance for the past few months."

"Shall we find out what it is together as a group?" Kelsie asked.

"I think we should." Melissa said. Kelsie and Melissa later went off ahead of Blake and Mackenzie.

"Kelsie! Melissa!" shouted Blake. Nelson Booth, Mackenzie's father, noticed that something was going on in his backyard, and wanted to go check it out.

"Mackenzie?" Nelson asked. "What in the world is going on here?"

"Dad, Blake, his sisters, and I are about to find out what exactly is going on here." Mackenzie said. "If you don't see us… wish us luck on this adventure." Mackenzie then took Blake by his hand, and later went off to follow the path. Little did they know that they would find something brilliant on the other side of the trees.

When Blake, his twin sisters Kelsie and Melissa, and Mackenzie reached the golden path's dead end, they found a huge building. Wondering what it was, Mackenzie decided to knock on the door. Shockingly, the door then opened by itself by magic. Kelsie wondered if it was a ghost that opened the door.

"Kelsie," said Blake, "ghosts are supernatural beings. This looks like a magical place for the both of us to be at!"

"Yeah, Kelsie!" Melissa said. "Let's go inside and check this place out!" And so, everyone went to check out the magical place. When everyone entered, nobody knew what it was, but Blake took a wild guess and thought of the place as a magical bookstore.

"You are close, Blake." a voice echoed. This caused Melissa and Kelsie to freak out. Then, the voice that echoed turned out to be one of the three children of Blake's Aunt Rose. And the voice that echoed was in fact the youngest child of his Aunt Rose, Jeff.

"Haha!" laughed Jeff. "I got you that time behind that knight, didn't I?"

"Jeff!" Blake said. "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be doing chores or something with Aunt Rose?"

"Well, Clare, Mark, and I came to introduce you to your dream, Blake." Jeff said. "Welcome to the Baxter Family's Magic Library!"

"This… is a magic library?!" Blake asked. "A magic library named after my own family?"

"Yup." Jeff spoke. He later brought out Mark and Clare to explain more about it.

"Thanks, Jeff." Clare said. She later showed Blake, Mackenzie, and the twin sisters Kelsie and Melissa around the library.

"As you can see, every genre imaginable is here!" Clare exclaimed in excitement to Blake and the gorup. "And, there's even video games here too! Yup, this is not anyone's ordinary library! Come on, Blake! Let me show you around the upstairs section!"

When everyone went upstairs, Mackenzie noticed a live painting on the wall. It turned out that the painting could actually move its eyes to see what was going on!

"What kind of outsiders step foot into my realm of hope?" the painting asked while the kids were passing by.

"AH!" Kelsie shouted. "A talking painting!"

"Oh, my… I'm sorry, Kelsie!" the painting apologized. "I promise not to scare you again." Melissa wondered who did all the paintings.

"Some famous artist did all of the paintings found in this huge building." Mark said to Melissa. Then, Blake noticed something on a bookcase in a game lounge. Everyone wondered what it was.

"It's a book about Animal Crossing…" Blake said. "I'm going to read it."

"Blake, whatever you do, don't spill the Sparkling Glitter on it." Mark warned Blake.

"What's Sparkling Glitter?" Blake asked his cousin.

"It's a special type of dusty glitter that has the ability to take the readers of books into a book." Mark explained.

"Sounds confusing…" Blake said. "Let me see if this is what you were talking about." he said after picking up a container of gold glitter.

"Blake, no!" Mark yelled. "That's the Sparkling Glitter I was talking about!" Blake still sprinkled the glitter onto the Animal Crossing book, and it turned out that Blake was taken into the book.

"Come on!" Mackenzie said to Kelsie and Melissa.

"Where are we going, Mackenzie?!" Kelsie asked.

"To find your brother to make sure he is okay!" Mackenzie exclaimed. Once they touched the book, they were also sucked into the world of Animal Crossing. Little did the group know that a grand adventure was about to begin in order to return to Wolf City Township. Blake was wondering if he would ever see his home again.
