[i do not and never will own Meet the Robinsons]
Following from when he walked away from the Robinson house, Bowler Hat Guy, the alias of the grown-up Michael "Goob" Yagoobian, walked along by the lake. He watchedas the time machine containing Lewis and Wilbur flew off and disappeared.
He sat on a bench and sighed, unsure of what to do with his life, now that DOR15 had been wiped from existence.
Suddenly, he noticed something. He got up off the bench, and went to the lake, making sure to stay not too near the edge in case he fell in.
In the reflection of the lake, he saw the image of his younger self, sleeping on the baseball pitch. Suddenly, young Lewis ran up to the fence in the vision. "Goob! Goob, wake up!" he called.
Immediately, the young Goob awoke, and made the winning catch. His teammates cheered and declared him a hero.
Even Bowler Hat Guy was amazed.
Suddenly, Bowler Hat Guy gaped.
He knew what this meant - since his past had changed, his bad future self was not gonna exist, like with his ex-friend DOR15, after Lewis had promised that he would never invent her.
But he decided to accept it.
"Thank you, Lewis." he whispered.
They were his last words as the formerly evil twisted man that was Bowler Hat Guy, aka Michael "Goob" Yagoobian, vanished from existence.
Lewis, aka Cornelius Robinson, grew up to be a successful inventor, and had his family, which soon became the Robinson family.
and as for Goob, well, he opened a baseball store, selling vintage baseball clothing, autographed balls, bats, caps, and even baseball trading cards, named "Goob Baseball Shrine'.
The name was kinda weird, leading to some name-calling at first, but Goob just took it in his stride. And his nickname, Goob, soon became the name when he was a part-time baseball coach, Coach Goob.
He was also a good visitor to the Robinsons family, showing off ideas for Cornelius' new inventions.
So thanks to Lewis, and [to a lesser extent] Wilbur Robinson, Goob's future was lookin' bright.
