"You're sure that Maddie and the others are up here?" asked Apple as she and Briar climbed the school's tower.
"They were the only ones who remembered the other world, probably because they themselves come from a different one so the spell didn't fully affect them," said Briar.
"So, your mother had them placed in prison mirrors and stored them up here so that they couldn't talk to anyone about it," she said.
"She even declared that all Wonderlandians are dangerously sick," said Briar.
"It just keeps getting worse," said Apple as they reached the top floor where the two of them found every walled surface to be covered in small round mirrors.
"Maddie, Maddie are you here?" asked Briar while looking at the rows of mirrors.
"Here, I'm here," came a tiny voice from a mirror in the third row of the south wall.
"It's good to see you, Maddie," said Apple as the blueish-green haired girl appeared in the mirror which she had taken down.
"You too, Apple," said Maddie.
"We're going to get you out of there, so hold tight," said Apple.
"Watch your eyes, Briar," she said before throwing the mirror onto the ground. This shattered the glass and caused Maddie to appear from a trail of smoke before the other two girls.
"Whoa, that was a tea kettle of a ride," said Maddie who was swaying a little as she stood there.
"Are you okay, Maddie?" asked Briar.
"A little dizzy but I'm better than Raven and Cerise right now," said Maddie while holding her head.
"You know where Raven is?!" asked Apple with a tone that surprised Briar.
"She's in another world, one where her mother is free and rules over Ever After," said Maddie, shocking the other two.
