"So, be careful when you walk at night because you may run into…the Slit-Mouthed Woman! The end."
Sasha, Anne, Sprig, and Polly's jaws were gaping open.
"YOU ALMOST GOT ASSUALTED?!" Anne exclaimed.
"YOU MADE FRIENDS WITH A KILLER GHOST?!" Sasha yelled.
"Um, yep," Marcy answered.
"Holy crap, Marbles! Why didn't you tell us?!" Anne asked as she rushed to her girlfriend and held her tight, with Sasha doing the same.
"S-Sorry, it was just a surreal experience…and kinda scary when I stopped to think about how close I was to…you know."
Polly was still stunned but managed to shake it off and asked, "You're really telling me you became friends with a killer ghost? Just like Hop Pop had to cart around the Frog Reaper? And how me and Sprig met old Zachariah Needles?"
Sasha raised an eyebrow. "Wait, what's this about a 'frog reaper'?"
Marcy took out her cellphone, flipped through her gallery, and then showed the pictures to everyone. Sure enough, there was Marcy, and a Japanese woman in a coat, with a transparent body.
"…I guess it's better to have the killer ghost on your side than not," said Anne. "Just to make sure. Polly's still here, right?"
"I'm sitting right here, Anne," Polly deadpanned.
"Hey, we can't be too careful after last time," said Sprig.
"UGH! I snuck out to see the Blue Moon ONE TIME!" Polly argued.
Sasha released Marcy and sat next to the little pollywog and said, "Yeah, cut her some slack. It's not like she's going to do it again."
"Preach sister." Polly held out her flipper and Sasha slapped it.
"Projecting much, Sash?" Anne questioned.
Sasha blushed and then cleared her throat. "Anyway, my turn nerds."
"Wait! I haven't gotten my turn!" Polly exclaimed.
Sasha sighed and said, "Alright, go ahead."
"Great! This story is about three little tadpoles that suddenly grew to monstrous size in a tale called…"
! DAY OF THE GIANT TADPOLES !
"Uh, I was there, Polly," said Marcy.
"Wait, what?"
"Yeah, I actually helped Maddie save her sisters from exploding."
"Uh…Well, Anne and Sprig don't know it," said Polly.
"We got the lowdown from Maddie," said Anne.
"Yep," Sprig confirmed.
"Sasha! Sasha doesn't know!" Polly countered.
"Wait, Maddie's that goth looking frog girl, right?" Sasha asked.
Marcy nodded.
"Oh, then I heard it," said Sasha.
Polly's jaw hung open again. "Since when do you talk to Maddie?!"
Sasha shrugged and answered, "I actually talked to her in town. She's creepy as all get-out, but she's cool, so we talked."
Polly crossed her arms and huffed. "Ugh! The second time a Blue Moon happens, and I STILL don't have a scary story you guys don't know about!"
Anne leaned closer to Sprig and whispered, "Keep a close eye on Polly."
Sprig nodded and kept his gaze squarely on Polly.
Sasha smiled as she said, "Okay. Now, this didn't happen to me but some high school girls I knew. 'Anna', 'Tasha' and 'Macy'. They had a deadly encounter in a story I call…"
