Pile of Leafs?
Consider it, Jack Kelly'd.
Jack tapped his foot on the ground as he waited for the right moment to strike... No, no, not strike as in a union against the famous newspaper company; The World.
"Done..." Davey sighed in-relief as he finished raking the leafs up.
Jack then made a run for it.
He quickly dashed over to the leaf pile and dived into it, causing leafs to go everywhere.
"Annnnnd anodder one goes to teh infamous Jack Kelly!" He shouted as he popped his head out of the leafs, then he looked at Davey's annoyed expression. "Oi, lighten up, nobody diaed." Jack smirked. Davey shook his head, "Get out o'there, Jack." He sighed loudly.
This was the fifth time this week.
Fifth. Time.
Garden o'Pumpkins,
Not growin'fast 'nough.
Race stared at a freshly-planted pumpkin seed for just about an hour that in-fact, Crutchie was getting quite concerned. "What'che doin'there, Recetreck?" Crutchie limped over with his crutch under his arm. "Tryin'to make this pumpkin'ere grow fast'r, it ain't growin'fast 'nough fer me." Race squinted at the seed. Crutchie looked at the seed for a moment, then Race.
"...Well, you gon'be sittin'there fer a while, ain't yeh? But 'lright, go ri'head wi'that." Crutchie walked off, Race still just staring at the pumpkin seed. Specs came over later on and asked him, when Race told him what he was doing; Specs only responded with...
"Meybe if ye water it, it'll grow fast'r." He crossed his arms.
"Ye're a genius, Specs, I'ma go do 'at now." Race scrambled up and ran off to find a watering can.
Hot Pumpkin Cider with Katherine,
Worth belivin'in for sure.
Jack walked over to Katherine and sat down beside her, holding two cups of Pumpkin Cider. "Hey, Kathern', got us somethin'." Jack leaned in close, not only to get her attention, but to see what she was writing. Katherine looked at him and smiled, "Mind your business, Jack." She poked his nose gently. Jack shook his head to recollect himself and then handed her the cup of Pumpkin Cider "It's pumpkin cideh. Boughts it m'self wi'what I earns'd today." Jack proudly said.
Katherine kissed him on the cheek, "Thank you. I appreciate it." She warmly grinned and then proceeded to take a sip of the pumpkin cider.
I ain't got nothin'without...
HALLO'WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!
Jack aggressively climbed up to his rooftop and woke up Crutchie. "Hey'o, Crutchie! Buddy! Stop yer snoozin', todays the day." Jack shook him gently. Crutchie mumbled and yawned, "Yeh, yeh, what is it, Jeck?" Crutchie looked at him through tired eyes.
Jack looked at him like he was angry, but it was aggressive passion. "It's Hellowe'n, Crutchie. That means we gotta go'round dressin'up like ghosts 'n vamps, y'knows?" He explained.
"Oh... Reght, almost forgot..." Crutchie sat up and yawned yet again.

"Eh, I was thinkin'this silly lil'guy wi' a crutch and a newsie hat, y'know?" Jack replied.
They both exchanged looks and grinned the brightest smiles they could towards each other.
