Author's notes :

Hello, and welcome to yet another fanfiction from yours truly, Leonard.

OK first of all, I suck at background story telling. The image is there but it's hard to just describe it. Why I'm writing this here? Well cuz I got a feeling that you might feel cringy from what you're about to read next. So much that you might just scroll back up here. Honestly it's because what I always do when I find someone writing cringy.

I've been wanting to write this in a while now. Just been having writers' block and all that, you know how it is. Now looking back on this thing, it's been making me wondering. Was this really such a good idea? Or was it a goof?

I mean...Zagi would be really overpowered wouldn't he, in this world? Being a giant that can literally just create destruction that could be worse or less worse than the Demon Lords in 'How not to Summon a Demon Lord'. But then the thing is, doing a different kind of OC other than Diablo who was the real original Character would just be a self insert of replacement wouldn't it? Because of that I chose a crossover idea which you are now reading. Zagi does have the qualifications of a Demon Lord right? Yet he's too overpowered, disrupting the balance. So knowing that, limiters has to be placed in.

Then again, was this really a good idea? Do let me know in the comments and I hope you enjoy this crazy fanfic story I write.

And do read my notes at the bottom as well.

"Know your place." : Talking

'Is she really that oblivious?' : Thoughts

"Earth control : Earthquake!" : Magic Spell

(( AAAAAAAHHHHH )) : Memory replay/flashback

{This was not such a good idea... } : Zagi's P.O.V thoughts

Why Zagi's P.O.V thoughts? Cuz I'm too lazy to explain every single detail and then exhaust myself looking for the right words to use.

REUPLOADED REASON : I found out that I made some errors when I first uploaded it so I deleted the fic to rewrite it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

A long time ago, in about a thousand years in the past,

This beautiful world created by God was in a great peril.

All lives that lived on it, were near the state of extinction.

All because of the attack of the Demon Lord and his army of Fallens.

The five races band together to defeat the Demon Lord in the hopes of saving home.

Amidst their fight, the fives races were assisted in the war by the Celestials sent by God, along with an unexpected ally. One who would call; a Traitor to his own kind.

With the help of the Celestials and their Demonic ally, the five races were able to push back the Demon Lord's army and defeat the Demon Lord himself.

Unable to completely destroy the Demon Lord, the Demon that allied with the Celestials and the Five Races took the matter into his own hands and forcefully splits the Demon Lord into eight parts of himself.

And that was the end of it.

Little is known about the Demon that helped the Celestials and the five races.

The only information they have of him is that he calls himself;

Zagi.

Dark Zagi.

A Demon colored in jet Black with red streaks running all over his body,

With an insignia of a faced down bow on his chest.

And he is...

"THE TRUE DEMON GOD OF DESTRUCTION! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Location : Starfall Tower

Starfall Tower. A tower made of stone located near the border of the Kingdom of Lyferia and the Old Demon Lords domain, adjacent to the Man-Eating Woods. The nearest town to the tower is the Border City, Faltra. This tower is a point used for summoning and conducting the Enslavement Ritual, hence making it the top choice for summoners to conduct their familiar summoning.

Conducting the summoning ritual between the four pillars at the top of the tower allows a random summon to be called to the altar. To perform the ritual, summoners are required to be above a certain level, use a suitable amount of magic stones, and use specific catalyst. Currently two young girls can be seen at the top of thee tower, preparing their summoning circle.

One of them was an elf, who has long golden blonde hair, which some are in a braid, and there was a grass decoration placed on her head. Being an Elf she has long ears which are tapered to a point. Her neck, her torso, and her limbs were all long and narrow. Unlike most female Elves, her large breasts. She wears a green tunic called Coat of Princess, and since it was only tied up with strings in several places, her skin could be seen from the fluttering of it.

While the other one is a Pantherian who long black hair that grew down all the way to her waist. Her ears and tail are both equally a beautiful black color. Her cat-like, almond-shaped green eyes and spruce eyebrows seem expressionless like a doll and made one feel the strength of her volition. She has a slender body type. From her sides that had her ribs lightly showing to her toned arms and legs, her body has no uselessness in it.

Her clothes were a vest that went to her chest, had shoulder pads attached, and was hanging from a jacket, and a wide leather belt coiled above her waist. It had a great number of pockets attached. She wore a skirt of layered cloth around her waist and skin-tight short shorts/spats underneath the skirt.

"Hey, Rem, what do you think that's going to come out of our summon?" The Elf asks the Pantherian in a playful tone as she finishes her side of the circle.

"I don't know. For the least, I hope we will be able to pull out a powerful one." She answers her stoically as she finishes her side. "I must say, using the Starfall tower was a smart idea coming from you, Shera."

"Ehehe! I am pretty smart aren't I!?" She puffs herself.

"Come on, let's begin the summoning ritual."

"Yeah!" She nods and went to her side of the circle.

They soon began chanting in unison the summoning spell, to recite the magic and call upon a creature from the beyond to become their Summon. The magic they released flows into the crystals they brought and was reflowed into the magic circle as it glows brightly. The magic continues to flow until the entire body of the magic circle was lit up. Now with everything prepared, all they had to do was wait and hope.

A moment later the magic circle flashed and began to glow brighter than it was before, drawing more magic energy into itself. And soon, a lifeform began shaping itself onto the altar in the middle of the magic circle. In about a few seconds later, the summoning spell was finally completed as the being they have summoned is now sitting on the altar.

The being that was sitting on the altar was a tall humanoid man, wearing a full set of black uniform; consisting of a pair of black military pants, a long-sleeved military shirt, and a dual sided full cloak with the outer being black and the inner red covers his entire back down to his legs. The cloak was pinned onto his right shoulder instead of in the middle. On his feet, he wears a pair of iron boots that armors up to his calves and an iron knee protector. The man has long silverish white hair flowing down to his shoulders and has two long horns protruding from the frontal part of his head. Underneath his eyelids, were eyes colored in crimson red of blood.

"A Demon!?" Rem steps back in surprise.

"Is it possible for Demons to be summoned as familiars, Rem?" Shera gulped, feeling insecure of their safety.

"I don't know but, a summon is a summon. Once we completed the ritual, the summon will become obedient to our commands." She walks closer towards the familiar, taking out her contract crystal.

"O-oh right! I forgot about that..." She also walks closer to the familiar, bringing out her contract crystal as well.

"Well then, time to finish the familiar pact." Rem concluded.

{Urgh...such brightness...How can there be this much light deep in the underground? } Zagi groans as the light disturbs him. By opening his eyes, he was greeted with a kiss on both of his cheeks from two young girls under the light blue sky, which was quite a surprise for him to be woken up such way. {WhAt tHe? }

"With this, we've finally completed the Enslavement Ritual." Rem stated.

{A Pantherian? }

"Hehehe, Way to go, me! The summoning worked!" Shera jumps with glee.

{And an Elf? }

"Try not to get the wrong idea. I am the one who summoned him." Rem counters her exclamation while having a hand rubbing her chin as she scans Zagi up and down.

{She is...quite small. A young teenager perhaps? And her ears...now this is quite the rarity! You don't often see Pantherians who's ears are the same color as their hair. Why? I have no idea.}

"Ehhh? But I'm the one who summoned him! You saw it didn't you?" Shera counters her back. "Besides, I've performed the Enslavement Ritual myself, too! That kiss and stuff..." Shera turns to the oblivious Zagi, looking embarrassed with a hand touching her lips.

{Kiss?! Summoning?! Enslavement Ritual?! Are they referring to me?! In the first place, how is it that when you seal a pact with a summoned familiar, it is done with the enslavement magic? And since when was it that the Enslavement Ritual is finished with a kiss on the being that is about to be enslaved?! Was the creator of this spell a pervert of some sort?! AND WHERE ON EARTH AM I?! }

"I kissed him too, you know?"

"But it was my kiss that was successful!" Shera stresses her point. "And I'm also the one who suggested that we go for the Starfall Tower!" She adds.

{Starfall Tower? } He look out at the grass below. {Right...now how do we explain on why and how was I brought here? This should have been impossible. Even if those girls were able to bring me here, they would have died on the spot the moment I arrived due to extensive power needed to materialize me. Now that I think about it...something seems a little bit...off? Somehow I feel a bit...heavier? Wait...it can't be... } He reaches his hands to his chest, feeling that there was nothing there. Nothing. {IT'S NOT THERE! MY HEART ISN'T THERE! } Zagi's mind exploded as the realisation of his missing core strikes him like a thunderbolt that rained from a stormy sky.

Zagi takes in a deep breath before he continues to inspect his situation. {Right! Think carefully on this. I am Zagi; Dark Zagi. A Demon who's power can bring chaos and destruction upon any land he goes. I can overcome this! First, how it I was brought here and what happened to my body. } He looks at his hands and runs one of them over his face to feel if there are any changes. {Hmm...nothing about my body has changed. This is still the body that I used as my alter-ego, but...I have horns now...is this because my soul has a familiar wavelength to the Demons that the world just recognises me as one!? } He grimaces. {this never happened last time...and what's with this set of clothes that I'm wearing...? } He tugs on his clothes as he inspects it. {Now finally, what happened to my core? Could it be that because of the toll needed to summon me was to high, the spell summoned my soul instead? If that were the case, it could probably explain this; but did the spell really intended to summon my soul? There must be some other reason as to how I was called. Well, now that I've confirmed that this body is made out of magic for housing my soul, I just need to find and destroy whatever is holding me here. With that, I should be able to return to my original body. Easier said than done, I need to figure out how far I am to it first. }

"I summoned him!"

"I was the one who did!"

"No, it was me!"

{These girls... } He stares at them in disbelief, looking at the two young adults bickering like children. Having a vein popping up, he yells at them. "Cease your ridiculous arguing, you fools!" Both of them turn to look at Zagi with wide eyes. Surprised by the fact that he spoke to them.

"The Summon..."

"...talked?!"

"What buffoonery is this?! Bickering like children?! You're deafening my ears! Are you purposely intending to infuriate me?!" He yells again, surprising them once more.

"Hey, Rem! Do summons talk when they're agitated?!" Shera asks Rem in a panic.

"I don't know!" She quickly answers, her body tensing up as if she was preparing herself to fight.

"I hereby order the both of you to shake hands and make up with each other! Disobey me and I'll have you burned under hell's fire!" Zagi commands them.

{Riiight...the best kind of domineering first impression coming from a just reawakened Demon God... }

"Who would ever want to make up with this fat and hopeless Elf?" Rem scoffs upon hearing the order. But not a moment sooner, a powerful force of magic began to take control of her as her body suddenly moved by its own without her control, properly facing towards Shera with a hand being raised. "Wha-what the?!"

"Rem? What's wro-ngk?!" Shera was surprised by Rem's sudden movement but she was then also compelled to move not by her own will, facing properly towards Rem with her own hand being raised. With both turned to the other, Shera and Rem then grabs each others hand and performs a forced handshake with a forced smile.

"Wha-what's is going on?" Rem asks, still being under the control of the force. A moment later, two pairs of metallic collars manifested around their necks. "Huh?!"

"Eh?!"

"...what?" Zagi blinks. Stunned by what he just saw.

""EEEEEEEHHHHHHH??!!""

{What the hell? }

Outside of the Starfall Tower

Right after the unexpected predicament, the three of them had begun walking towards the Border City, Faltra as per Rem suggestion on figuring out how to break the spell. Rem and Shera were walking in the front, while Zagi was following close behind.

"Hmmmmm...why us? I thought this was supposed to appear on the Summon!" Shera whined.

{As if I would wear something like that...Also, why indeed that thing appeared. Was there a need of using create transmutation magic just to make a collar? }

"I was sure that the ritual would place the Enslavement collar on him when succeeded...did something caused it to go wrong?" Rem wondered. Hearing that causes Zagi to narrow his eyes at Rem as he looks at her, feeling displeased by the fact that they tried using the Enslavement Ritual on him.

"So you did used an Enslavement Ritual on me." He insinuated.

"Yes." Rem confesses.

"And it creates that collar when the ritual is complete and succeeded?" he asks with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes." Rem answers him.

"How foolish, going an extra mile just for an Enslavement Ritual." Zagi's scoffs at the ridiculousness.

"Eh? Was the Enslavement Ritual supposed to be done in a different way?" Shera asks curiously.

"The more precise question would be; has it been done in a different way." Zagi corrects her. "In the past, the Enslavement Ritual was forcefully done by drawing a crest onto the slave's chest using enchanted ink mixed with the slaver's blood." Hearing that sends a cold shiver to run down Shera and Rem's spine.

"Gheee!" Shera shakes uncomfortably. "That sounds scary!"

"That it is. Becoming a slave to another person means to have your whole freedom taken away from you. Hence the reason of the Enslavement Ritual to be created. Now it is just bothering me to whom changed the form of the ritual." Zagi rubs his chin as he wonders who was the person that changed the form of the ritual.

"If we had done that form of ritual, will it be possible to have this collar on you?" Rem's question surprises Zagi, but he paid no mind to it.

"Hoo? You are quite bold with your questions aren't you, young Pantherian?" He asks while looking somewhat amused as the edges of his lips seems to form a small smirk. "Very well, I shall answer that question for you. Even if you did tried using that method of Enslavement Ritual, you will still be unable to have that collar leashed on me." {Not that it'll appear anyways as the slave is controlled by the crest instead of that fancy collar... }

"And why is that?" Rem questioned.

"That ritual is only effective when it is used upon those who are weaker than you or that they are in a weak state, such as having a weak mentality or terribly injured. If what you are trying to have control over is stronger than you, the ritual will fail and broken as the being you're trying to have control over will resist your attempt, allowing it to fight back or run away."

"Then would that explain why we have this collar on us?" Shera jumps into the conversation.

"No, that would not. The ritual cannot work in reverse, even if they tried to do so."

"Then what is the reason?" Rem was next to ask.

"That I am currently investigating as I am also bewildered by the fact that it did somehow worked in reverse."

{How did it actually happen though? The only time I ever seen magic being reversed was that prideful and arrogant demon came to my dungeon and challenged me into a duel of power as he wanted to obtain my powers } The image of Enkvaross fighting him resurfaces in his memories. {Right after I destroyed him, he dropped that one ring that gave him the ability to keep blasting my attacks back at me. But I'm not wearing it right now though. So how did it-ah...right... I ate that thing... so possibly, the essence of that ring is flowing around in my soul...it was actually very useless for me to use because I'm highly resistant to magic attacks. What was that idiot's name again? Iva? Ivania? Taniamidov? Ah screw it, I've completely forgotten. Ignoring that, can I somehow turn it off? }

"So for the time being, as the magic had been reversed onto the two of you, you're under my control. In other words, my slaves."

"Eeeeeeh?! No way! I don't want to be enslaved to a Summon!" Shera whines again.

"At any rate, we'll need to return to the city and look for a way to dispel it. You're coming with us too, okay?"

{As annoying as this is, I do not have a choice right now. } He groans.

"Ooooh Yeah! We haven't told you our names yet!" Shera pointed out.

"Hmm?" Zagi raises an eyebrow.

"Good grief, you're so carefree even in times like this." Rem chided.

"But wouldn't it be difficult for him to talk to us without knowing our names?" Shera points out, to which Rem steps back in realisation. Afterwards, Shera turns to face Zagi who was behind her. "My name is Shera L Greenwood. For various reasons, I'm hoping to become an adventurer. Nice to meet you!"

{Various reasons to become an adventurer? What are you? A runaway from home? And haven't I heard of that name before? }

"I'm Rem Galleu. I need to keep proving my strength as an adventurer, so please lend me your power..."

{I am feeling a different sense of vibe coming from that particular line. great...my turn...There's a chance that my name has been written in history and has been passed down for generations and I don't want to risk using it. } Just as he was thinking of a fake name, the image of Mephisto surfaces in his mind. {Mephisto...For you to die just the moment you broke free of Evil's hold...how pitiful. }

"So what's your name, Mr. Demon?" Shera asks in anticipation. Mr. Demon must be worth a hundred men! I've never heard of a talking Summon before! Mr. Demon must be a very rare summon!"

"Foolish Elf, I am no summon!" He walks past the two girls.

"Then what are you?" Rem asks.

"I am Mephisto. The one feared as the Demon Lord! Rejoice young mortals! As I am willing to spare my precious time to be with you." He asserted boredly.

"Demon Lord?!"

"This was my first summon, and I pulled out an amazing one!" Shera beams, having stars glittering in her eyes as she feels proud of herself.

"I'm the one who summoned him!" Rem quick to destroy her daydream.

"No, I did!"

"I did!"

" I did!"

"Enough of your pointless quarrelling! Are we or are we not going to the city!? Make up your damn choice, you annoying mortals!" Zagi yells in anger, a red pumping vein could be openly seen on his forehead.

"We are going there! With you at my side, I can finally register as a Summoner with the Adventurers Guild!" Shera says with a optimism and sprints to Zagi's side.

{Haaa...how did it come to this? The last thing I remember doing was just sleeping in my dungeon, how is it that my soul got pulled out of my own body? This is ridiculous.}

"Hmm~ Hmm~ Hmm~" Zagi looks at Shera who was walking with a broad smile on her face, her chest in particular was bouncing up and down in rhythmic pattern.

{...does the knowledge of bras is still yet to be developed? } He commented as he notices Shera being completely bra-less.

Location : Border City Faltra

After having to walk for quite a while, the three of them finally arrive at Faltra City, home to many humans, Elves and Pantherians. Its a large residence for many kinds to live in. The streets and shops were full demi-humans.

Zagi was taken aback by the beauty and liveliness scenery in the city. The five races living harmonically together was quite a surprise for him; being in the past where racism and superiority was always the cause of conflict.

{...when was the last time I ever seen such a scenery... } He reminisces his time back in Japan as he looks around at the citizens of the city. { Haa...life was much more fun during my high-school days. } The good memories brought a smile up his face, until...an image of a man being pushed onto an incoming train surfaces in his mind, causing him to stop walking.

"Mephisto? What's wrong?" Shera asks as she notices Zagi had stopped walking steps behind her and Rem. Her question causes Zagi to drop out of his thoughts and returns his focus to reality.

"Nothing. Something just crossed my mind, that's all." He answers while shaking his head and continues walking.

About another few minutes of walking they finally arrived at their destination, Peace of Mind Inn.

"We're here, this is the Inn." Rem informs them.

{Peace of Mind Inn? Hmm...well hopefully they live up to their name. } Zagi comments as he reads at the signboard above the door. {Fortunately, the language of this world never changed even after I've disappeared. Speaking of which, how long was I gone? }

Peace of Mind Inn

"Good afternoon! I'm the Idol of the Peace of Mind Inn, Mei-chan! Nyaa~!" The receptionist greets them enthusiastically along with giving them a cat pose. The receptionist was a Pantherian girl in a maid outfit, has chestnut brown hair and a set of tail and ears colored in orange decorated with black spots.

{I understand that among Pantherians , their ears and tail does not match up with their hair but...how in the actual crud does this one has a set color of a cheetah's??? Or is it an ocelot's? } He commented. Unknown to him, his left eye was twitching and was noticed by Shera. Unfortunately for her, she fails to notice what was causing Zagi to feel distressed even with looking back and forth between him and the receptionist.

"Hey, if you don't mind, I'd like to have this man stay in the same room with me." Giving up on finding the reason, she turns to the receptionist once more and this time, requests her for a room for her and Zagi.

{I suppose this must be a money situation. The fact that she dared to request that quite surprises me when at any time I could just take advantage of her... }

"Okkie!" She answers with enthusiasm. "Room for two and room for one correct?"

"No." Rem denied, grabbing the attention of Shera and Mei. "There's no need for that. Mephisto will be staying with me."

{okaaaay...? }

"Huh?! How come?!"

"Because I'm the one who summoned him. Its natural for him to stay with his master." Hearing that causes a red vein to pop up Zagi's forehead again.

{This brat...even after declaring myself as a Demon Lord you still dare to call yourself my master?! And are we going to have this stupid fight again?! }

"I'm the one who summoned him!"

"Hey you two...C'mon, you're going t be a nuisance if you fight at our reception desk..." Mei tries to inform them. Unfortunately, they did not get the message.

"I'm the one who summoned him!"

"I did!"

"I did!"

"No, I did!"

"If you choose to continue this fight, I'll have you thrown out." She declares to them while using a dark tone. Her sudden change of tone caused Shera and Rem to quickly stop their argument by surprise. Zagi however was unwavered. With a sigh escaping his lips, he walks towards the receptionist and closes the distance between his face and Mei's, taking her by surprised with the sudden bold action.

"Now then, Miss Mei was it?" He begins. Mei was having a blush creeped up her face as he began talking. "I apologise for the inconvenience my colleagues have caused. Allow me to make things easier for you, we will only have one room enough for the three of us and nothing more. Would that be fine?"

"O-o-o-okay! One room for three!" She stutters with her words as Zagi's handsome face and seductive voice has caused her to become flustered. Having getting her response, Zagi pulls back a bit and let's go of his intense gaze from Mei's.

"On that account, would it be possible for you to make it...cheeper?" He requests her while having a finger of his run up her neck and bringing his face closer to hers again.

"Tha-that's--!" She tries to reject it, but Zagi stops her by scratching her neck with the very same hand, causing her to purr. " Ny-nyaaaa~"

Rem and Shera were watching the whole thing with wide eyes and a gaping mouth. Surprise by Zagi's sudden change of persona.

"Mei, is there a problem going on there?" Another maid of the Inn asks, coming from the room behind her, catching Mei by surprise.

"Nya!? Nothing! Nothing!" She escapes from the trance she was in and pushes her co-worker back into the room. Zagi on the other hand returns back to his original posture. "Phew~! Okay, one room for three! And your amount is two copper coins!"

(Short note : I need someone to help me elaborate this more . Do read the authors' note for this as I put the info I need there.

" Hmm?" Zagi hums while smirking at her.

"Please! I can't lower it any more than this!" She begs

"There you have it. Hurry up and settle this matter. I have grown tired of today's number of unwanted events." Zagi turns and commands to Rem and Shera. The two didn't respond immediately as they were stunned and were blinking profusely as they try and fathom what just happened.

In one of the Inn rooms

"How did I end up with the same room with you...?" Rem grumbled.

"That's my question..." Shera grumbles as well. "Mephistooo! Why didn't you just choose to room with me?!" Shera ranted.

"Hmm?!"

"That would be my line! Why didn't you just choose to room with me?!" Rem protested

"Huh?!"

"I'm the one who summoned you, so you should have chosen me right?!" Shera proclaims again.

"Huh!? What are you saying you stupid-Shera?! I'm the one who summoned him!" and so does Rem.

"Nu-uh! I did!"

"No, I did!"

"Urgh...this is the fourth time of the day..." Zagi groans in frustration, having a hand running on his face. Not a moment later a knock was heard coming from their room door, putting a stop to their quarrel.

"Come in." Rem invites.

"Pardon me." The guest openss the door, revealing themselves. One of them being a beautiful human woman who could be in her twenties. She has violet hair and brown eyes and was currently wearing a soft-looking light-blue form-fitting robe that goes from her shoulders to her ankles and wears a red mantle with golden embroidery and behind her were two men wearing dark robes. "Rem-san, everyone..." Her gaze wanders around the room as she looks at the two individuals who were beside Rem. "It's my first time meeting you two, isn't it? I am known as Celestine Baudelaire." She introduces herself.

{Ok, who's this? }

"Celes-?! As in the head of this town's Mage's Association, that Celestine?!" Shera asks.

"Call me Celes, okay?"

{The head of the Town's Mage's Association huh... For a human, that's incredibly impressive. She must be quite formidable in her magic to be able to achieve such a spot. All in say, why is such an important person doing here, coming personally... } Zagi narrows his eyes as he looks at Celes and her men in suspicion.

"Today, I had some business with Rem-San, but..." She pauses as she looks at the collar around Rem's neck and Shera's and finally to the Fallen in the room.

"I'd love to hear your story as well." She finishes her paused line while looking at Zagi.

"Hmm..." Zagi continues to stare at Celes with narrowed eyes.

Night time

Peace of Mind Inn's cafeteria

"Food~! Food~! Some delicious Proper Food~!" Shera sings happily as she enjoys her food, being oblivious to her bajingas bouncing and the secretive glances from the other men on the other tables within the cafeteria. The party and Celes's group were currently having dinner as they talk about the situation depending of the collars on Rem's and Shera's neck.

"A reverse effect on the Enslavement Ritual? That's quite a serious matter." Celes noted, her hands holding each other as she thinks deeply about the problem. "Mephisto-san, are you able to release them, by any chance?"

"If I could have done it earlier, I would have already done so. There's too many risks to take on for me to break it." He explains. Hearing his words brought attention to Rem who looks at him in surprise.

"You could have released us earlier?!" She questioned.

"Yes, but there's too many backlash that would strike us into terrible positions."

"Such as?" Celes asks.

"If I tried and brute force the collar to be ripped off of you, there's a chance of you dying due to the sudden absorbing of my mana." The word death jerked Celes and Rem but they remained the composure.

"Sudden...absorbing of mana...?" Celes repeats Zagi's words in a questioning way.

"Before that, allow me to remind you that I am a Demon, a strong one at that. As the two of you are already aware, the Enslavement Ritual is a form of magic by having another being subjugate to you. In other words, to break the spell, it must be done in magic as well. And as a Demon, there is big difference between yours and my kind when it comes to many things and one of it being magic. If I were to suddenly inject my mana into Rem while trying to break the collar, there's a chance of her not being able to handle the energy and she might die from it."

"I see...looks like we'll have to research this from scratch then." She acknowledges.

"Please do..." Rem enjoined. Looking at her, Zagi notices that she looked somewhat troubled and her ears were drooped.

"If you're able to bring me some information regarding this Enslavement Ritual, I might be able to free them sooner. On that topic, what era are we in currently?"

"Huh? It's Lyferian year hundred and sixty four(164), why do you ask?"

{Lyferian...so they have united. And its only been over a hundred. Hmm... }

"Mephisto-san?"

"It is nothing concerning you." He brushes her off. "Enough of that matter, do tell me, what business does the head of the Mage's Association have here? Having herself to come here personally; you must be having quite the important matt matter to settle, don't you? I shall have you share that secret with me." Zagi demanded.

"You bastard!" One of the men in dark robes shouted at him. "How dare you speak to Lady Baudelaire like that?! I'll have no mercy on you if you don't show respect!"

{... did this mortal just...talked back at me ? } Red and black aura began to emit themselves surrounding Zagi's body.

"Galluk-san..." Celes turns to face the man to reprimand him. But before she could, a black silhouette zooms passes her, while grabbing Galluk by the neck and smashes him into the wall across their table. The impact from the smash didn't kill nor harm Galluk, but the wooden wall behind him now has several cracks opening and spreading. Everyone who was enjoying their meal in the cafeteria stopped eating as they look at what just happened. All of them froze in fear, becoming unmoving as the Fallen in the area had just begun his attack.

"Respect, you SAY? You lowly human vermin, HOW DARE YOU SPEAK TO ME WITH SUCH A TONE ?!" Zagi tightens his grip on Galluk's neck, causing him to struggle for air. His voice had become more demonic and aggressive as he spoke. His crimson eyes were glowing with hate and rage as he gazes into Galluk's human eyes. "Ah~ how refreshing~! You just reminded me why I hated mankind! The walking parasites of the earth, maybe I should not have stopped my rampage then and continued eradicating you all!" His words brings another jolt of fear towards the other guests of the Inn including Rem, Shera, Celestine and her other assistant along with the workers of the Inn. "We will begin the destruction of your kind once again," A ball of red and black Flames started to appear in Zagi's hand as he lifts it up. "Starting with you." Galluk's legs was shaking in fear as he sees the ball of Flames with tears in his eyes, his pants are now wet as he had accidentally relieved himself during Zagi's raging words. The ball of Flames was getting closer and closer towards Galluk's face, ready to burn him. Until...

"WAIT! MEPHISTO-SAN!"

"MEPHISTO, STOP!"

"MEPHISTO, STOP IT!"

Celes, Rem and Shera calls out to him, stopping the ball of Flames in his hand from burning Galluk. He turns his head around to face them, not changing his position of nearing to kill Galluk. His glowing demonic eyes scares the girls, but it didn't stop them from facing Zagi in his enraged state. All three of them were now standing from their seats' as they look at him in concerned and worried.

"Mephisto-san, I apologise for subordinate's act of disrespect towards you but I beg you to please, do not kill him. If you kill him, I won't be able to protect you, or Rem and Shera. So please...let him go." She reasoned with him.

"Mephisto, please stop this..." Shera begs him, her eyes were not one's of fear but rather pure sincerity of concern. Zagi kept his gaze with Shera and Rem's for a few seconds before the glow in his eyes and dark aura faded away. He dismisses the ball flame and let's go of Galluk, who falls onto he floor. The three girls felt relieved as he does so. Feeling that they had dodged an undodgeable bullet.

Afterwards, Zagi looks around him and takes notes that everyone in the vicinity had witness everything and knows that it will become a problem later. With that in mind, he raises his hand and flicks his finger. A black magic sphere appeared and began to expand itself all around the Inn.

"Restore" With the word, all damages that had been done to the Inn were repaired as if the damage was never there in the first place. But that was not yet the end of his spell. "Memory Wash" a small sound wave was released within the black sphere. Everyone that was in the cafeteria were caught in a daze as the spell took effect except for Shera, Rem, Celes and her men. With all of that done, Zagi dismisses the black sphere and returns to his seat. The people who were effected by the spell looked confused as they wonder what had just happened but ignores and continues on with their business.

"What was that just now?" Shera questioned.

"You need not to worry about it." Zagi assures her. "I only restored everything back to how it was before."

'Such...magic! Are all demon lords like him?' Celes thought in shock, noting to not make this man an enemy now knowing what he could possibly do. "And that Memory Wash, what was that spell?" She asks him as she sits back down on her seat, Rem and Shera following suit as well.

"Just like I said" " I return everything to how it was before, including their memories." He tells them telepathically. His answer brought a frown on Celes's face, but she quickly dismisses it.

'Telepathy magic and mind control...Rem-san, you've summoned quite the dangerous man.' She thought.

"If you do not wish to tell me your reason for coming here, then suit yourself. Just be aware that I have my ways of finding my answers." Zagi cautions them with his arms crossed while he glances at Rem who's trying to avoid his sight. "And Shera," He turns to Shera.

"Y-yes!?"

"Be at ease and continue on with your meal. I apologise for my behaviour earlier, I'm just not feeling like myself tonight..." She was taken aback by Zagi's statement but she smiles at him saying...

"Okay!" And continues eating the bread and sausages.

"Celes...I don't want to go to the Mage's Association Headquarters, or have any bodyguards assigned to me." Rem informs her.

"Rem-san...Listen, I'm only doing this to help you. You're a very important person to our wold after all." Celes insists her.

"I'm grateful for your consideration...But I can protect my own life myself..." Yet she still rejects.

"I see..." Celes grimaces. She stands up from her seat. "I'll excuse myself for tonight. I'll look into the matter of releasing you from your collars. And once again, I apologise for my subordinate's behaviour, Mephisto-san."

"Hmm." He hums in response.

"Well then, excuse me." She excuses herself once more as she takes his hum as a good answer from him "Let's go, Galluk-san." She calls to Galluk, who was still stunned on the floor. The Pantherians in the cafeteria were sniffing the air as they smell something unpleasant and were wondering and trying to find where it was coming from. Galluk stands up from the floor and picks up his staff, went to stand beside his partner. His partner grimaces as he does so, due to multiple reasons. As they were leaving, Galluk spares one glare at Zagi who was sitting on his chair with his finger massaging his temple.

"Now then, Rem." He turns to face Rem who was still trying to avoid him. "I supposed you have something to tell me don't you?"

"...no, I don't..." She lies.

{Hiding from me is a useless attempt. } Zagi waves his hand and Rem was now floating in the air due to the magic Zagi has inflicted onto her.

"Wha-what the?!"

"Hmph." Zagi gets up from his seat and began heading his way out of the cafeteria.

"H-hey! Let me go!"

"W-where are you going?" Shera asks him, while her body was shivering.

"To perform a little interrogation that hopefully won't lead to torture." He answers her, not stopping his movements as he does so.

"Tor--!" Shera was spooked upon hearing his answer. She was afraid of going against him now after what had just happened. "O-okay, I'll be here with my food..."

"Hey! Save me, you stupid elf!"

Shera Rem's Inn room

Zagi opens the door to their room and heads inside with the floating Rem. After he closes the door, he motions his telekinetic power to bring and place Rem onto the edge of the bed and stands in front of her.

"Now, tell me. What are you hiding, child?" He demands her.

"I won't tell you..." She refuses to tell him, not even looking at him in the face.

"So, you dared asking me to lend you my strength, yet you don't dare to tell me your secret? Now, how is that fair, young Pantherian?" He questions her with his face close to hers.

"If I tell you, I'm sure you'll leave me as well..." Hearing that puts a frown on Zagi's face. Now annoyed once more, he puts one foot on the bed and grabs Rem by the hair and pushes her down onto the bed.

"Child, just how old do you think I am? I am no mere adult nor am I a weak mortal like you. Do you really think, that such a petty reason would stop me from interrogating you?" He continues interrogating her with his hand grabbing her hair tighter. Once again, she looks away from Zagi, refusing to answer. A tear could be seen forming on the edge of her eye. "Still refusing to answer me? Then you leave me no choice but to use torture." He pushes his threat by saying it close to her face, his foot and hand still in their same position. Rem's eyes becomes wide open as she looks at his face that's so close to hers.

"Are you planning to disgrace me?!" She shouted in fear.

"Disgrace you?" He pulls himself back and lets his body towers over her. "That might not be a very bad idea if it can make you talk." He lets go of her hair and forcefully grabs on one of her ears.

"Kya!" The sudden grabbing surprises her that she moaned out of reflex.

{Typical cat reactions... }

"Quite the soft and fluffy ears you have. I shall have fun playing with it, along with the other parts of your body." He squeezes her ears more, earning yet another moan.

"P-please...stop." She begs.

"This can be easily stop if you just go ahead and let out your secret."

"No, I cant'!"

"Then have it your way." He goes and plays the rear parts of her ears.

"Kyaa! No! Not behind my ears!!"

Zagi was smirking as he toys with Rem, it was like playing with an actual cat he once had as a pet. Though, as fun it may be, he doesn't want to waste his time fooling around. He gathers his magical energy into his eyes, and activates a spell. 'Undeceiving Eye' . His eyes glows with a violet light as the spell activates, using the activated ability, he scans her body from the top to the bottom.

Upon landing his sight on her abdomen, he was surprised by what he was witnessing. It was a compressed form of energy, no— it was a compressed form of soul that belonged to a certain demon he knows from a long time ago; now it is within Rem's body, being sealed at the moment. Remembering the name that belonged to the demon, he spoke her name.

"The Demon Lord of Soul, Krebskulm, huh." Rem stops moving and her eyes becomes wide open as she was shocked upon hearing him saying the Demon's name.

"...h-how?!"

"This is what you were hiding?"

'No! He's going to leave me!' Memories of people with blurred faces walking away from her resurfaces. 'Just like they did...!'

"Hmph! How laughable." He scoffs. To which Rem was surprised to hear as she looks at him. "You believe that I will run away upon knowing you had her sealed within you? No, rather this is making more intrigued as to why is she within you." He lets go of her ears and sits beside her on the bed.

"Y-y-you're not going to leave?" She gets up and sits back like how she did earlier.

"Why would I? Leaving you would cost me this pair of soft cute black ears, it would be a lost for me if I'm unable to continue playing with it." Rem's face becomes red like a tomato as she blushes upon the compliment, yet she was a bit conflicted by his words. "All in say, the two of you still summoned me. What is the point of me coming all the way here without accomplishing anything?" His words brought light to her face as she stares at him with a glint of hope. "Tell me, Rem, why is that woman inside you?" She looks down for a second before she decides to answer as the feeling of burden was heavy for her.

"...it was something from a long time ago. It was after the defeat of the Demon Lord Krebskulm, my family volunteered to become the vessel to sealed the demon lord, fearing her return." She explains.

"Judging from that sentence, this has been going for quite a number of generations, hasn't it?"

"Yes...My ultimate is to defeat the Demon Lord Krebskulm that lies within me and extinguish her soul. For that, I set out as an adventurer to look for the solutions I can find."

"I see. So for that sake, you chose to summon me; a demon lord for a demon lord, huh." He concluded as he scratches his chin.

"Eh?" Rem looks at him confusedly.

"You wished for this as you were performing the summoning spell, your last resort of defeating Krebskulm is to have another demon lord fight against her. That's why I was able to answer to your summon as I am also a demon of high power that rivals their power." He deciphers the codes to the mystery of his summoning. "Judging from your conversation with Celes, none of you have found the solutions to avoid Krebskulm's revival other than to extract her soul after your death as that is her only chance of escaping the seal. If they did had the means to extract and seal her somewhere else, they'd surround you the full military might of the world in order to avoid her from escaping and completely reseal her. Other than that, I suspect that Celes is the only one who is aware of your connection with Krebskulm. Is that correct?"

"Y-yes, you are right..." She confirms him. "Her soul will be released when I die; and Celes is aware of this fact."

"Hmm..." He hums. "I assume your mother also housed her soul before you, correct?" She nods in response. "Hmm...you've never got to meet her, didn't you?" She nods again, with a pained emotion.

{Ah...such cruel fate for a child this young. It somehow reminds me of myself when I was reincarnated. } The memory of him rampaging resurfaces in his mind, casing him to grit his teeth. {Still, this is far more cruel than what I went through. Even in my current position, I'm not even sure if I will be able to defeat her with my current strength... } He sighs in exhaustion and exasperation.

"If your sole wish is to destroy Krebskulm, then I shall gladly do so." He stated willingly.

"Huh?" She looks at him in surprise. Tears once again began to form around her eyes.

"Aside from trying to extract her soul, I shall do everything in my power to ensure that you will not die the same way your mother did." As he says those words, tears were already running down her cheek as she began to cry. "As the demon lord, you have my word. I will protect you and forever be by your side until your wish is granted." He promises to the crying Pantherian. "This shall be our contract."

*sob* "This was..." *sob* "the first..." *sob* "time anyone..." *sob* "has ever..." *sob* "said they wouldn't..." *sob* "leave me..." she cried out.

"I see..." He grabs her head and pulls her in to his chest. She was surprised but did not resist. "I shall permit you permission to cry on my chest just for today. So go on and cry as much as you want." She continues on crying on his chest, tugging and pulling on his shirt. Letting out all the emotion she held in. Her crying wet on for a few minutes until she stops and pulls herself away from Zagi. "Are you finish?"

"Em." She nods. "Thank you. Come on, Shera must be worried right about now." She tries to stand but her legs fails her. Zagi catches her before she falls onto the floor. "M-my legs, why?"

"You've held back too much stress that your body is now paying the toll for it." He explains. "You wanted to run away from me earlier didn't you? When I was in my enraged state." He puts her back on the bed.

{The basic instinct of humanity and the creatures of Fauna, to run when encountering a predator or one who is stronger than yourself... }

"Huh?" Once again surprised by his abilities. "...I suppose nothing can ever get pass you huh..." She admits defeatingly.

"If you are aware of that now, then don't ever try to hide anything from me. Take my advice and rest for the night. You won't be able to survive long if you keep on this form of burden yourself ."

"o-okay..." satisfied with her answer he stands up and began walking towards the door. "W-where are you going?"

"Out to get some air. Least I will become what I did earlier."

"I-i see..." Zagi was about to leave but then remembered something that he forgot to ask Celes about.

"Before that, Rem." He stops as the door.

"Y-yes?"

"Answer this question, have you ever heard of a demon called...Zagi?"

"Za-gi?" She repeats the name. Putting a hand to her chin as she tries to remember. "I think I've heard about it before. Something about...a dark god. Why?"

"I see. Well then, sleep well. I will see you in the morning." He leaves and shuts the door.

"Wa-wait! Ah...he's gone..."

Outside the room

As Zagi left the room, he finds Shera right outside in the hallway, on her way to the room.

"Ah, Mephisto..."

"On your way to check on Rem?"

"Y-yeah..." She answers nervously.

"She's in the room, resting. And there's no need for you to worry, she didn't bled." He informs her as he walks. Shera blushes upon hearing his assurance, but was glad that there was no harm done on her friend. That said...

"Where are you going?"

"Ask Rem." He answers her without stopping his movement.

"Eh...?" She was left confused, as she watches Zagi walking away.

After Zagi had left the inn, he walked around the city, feeling the fresh air of the city calms his mind. He continued on walking until he finds a wide area with an empty hut between two trees. Seeing that there was no one there, he walks towards the hut and sits there. Enjoying the quiet of loneliness, thinking of events that has happened earlier; from the time he was summoned as a Demon until to what has happened tonight.

(("If I tell you, I'm sure you'll leave me as well..." ))

" Haaa...leave you as well, huh? How long has that been happening? Her whole childhood? Haih..." He shuts his eyes as he begins thinking in deep thought.

{...I'm used to being alone; ever since the day I became Zagi, that has been the only thing I have been doing throughout the years of my time in this world. Sealing myself away from the People of the Five Races. I was afraid of what I had become. The monster I am.

The only time I have ever spoken with others was when I was living along side them a thousand years ago. Although it was only temporary moment, I enjoyed the time I had with them. Until that tragic day...the day I became him; I became...Zagi. That very village I stayed at, the ones who helped get through my days of obliviousness, the ones who taught me magic and trained me; was destroyed. All because of me... Had I known that I was reincarnated along with the spirit of Zagi, I would have learnt how to keep my emotions in check first but because I didn't...they all died by my hands.

Time went by as I continued living here, strengthening myself and learning more how to control my powers; until that great world war broke out. I joined in their war fighting against the Demon Lord just to protect this innocent land, even though it was once filled with blood their spilt by their own people.

After the war, I sealed and isolated myself away within a dungeon I raised using my own powers. Surely I can't just raise a dungeon without dungeon prizes can I? Mankind are curious creatures. They would explore just about anything and everything just to bring more luxury into their lives. So with the greatest amount of gold and the greatest amount creations I could create including some treasures I found together in my days, I bury them all together along with me.

"To those adventurers who holds the greatest courage and sense of exploration, I dare you to come to my dungeon and face the hardest trials I have made. Challenge thyself for the best rewards you could ever wish for." Was what I was thinking when I made that dungeon.

Speaking of which, there were two others I have spoken to before as well. One was that war maid that I created with the knowledge of my past life along with the magical powers that I could infused in it. But her personality...I programmed her to be a very loyal AI maid and raised her intelligence like a teacher to a student to have her achieve singularity. Though, I really didn't expect to become what she is now...there's yandere vibes that sometimes comes off of her which somewhat scares me. And the other one was that black dragon that hatched from the egg I found. That child is just as loyal. Unfortunately, I didn't spent much time with it as the one who it sees as a Father. }

"Hmm..."

(("You lowly human vermin, HOW DARE YOU SPEAK TO ME WITH SUCH A TONE?!" The flame raises closer to Galluk's face.

"If you kill him, I won't be able to protect you, or Rem and Shera. So please...let him go." Celes reasons with Zagi.

"Mephisto, please stop this..." Shera begs Zagi to stop. ))

"Damn it! Even without that body, my rage still consumes me! That accursed power that I took on along with that form!" He groans as he remembers about the time he almost went berserk in the Inn.

Suddenly an old memory replayed in his mind. It was a man wearing office suit, who's face was covered in pain, shocked and despair as he falls in front of an incoming train while looking at the people with blurred eyes standing on the waiting platform, just staring at him.

As he falls onto the train track, his body was instantly dismembered as the train's metallic wheels runs him over, chopping his head and lower body apart. A pool of red blood began splashing onto the tracks and flooding the area around his body as he dies away under the train.

{They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched.}

The words kept on repeating in his mind as he remembers the painful memory. Standing up from the chair under the hut. He walks forward, away from the hut while covering his face as he suffers from the agonizing headache.

{They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing. They just watched. They did nothing! They just watched!}

"DAAAMN IIIT!!!" He bellowed as he releases an energy slash towards one of the trees beside the hut, setting it on fire. *huff* *huff* *huff* He huffs in exhaustion as he releases the pent up anger, watching the tree burn. He takes a deep breath as the huffing go away, and proceeded to look up towards the sky.

{Oh Lord that watches us from above, please, tell me! Why such cruel twists of fate always lands on them who are innocent?! Why have you made me reborn as demon?! Was I a sinner that has incurred your wrath?! Please...give me an answer... } He shuts his eyes as he prays silently under the night sky.

"Hey, Demon!" A familiar voice called out to him. "Just as I thought, you're that guy from this afternoon!" Zagi faces the man standing meters away from him, who was currently holding a bottle of liquor while walking drunk.

{Celes' henchman...the heck does he wants now? } Zagi thought in annoyance as his face turns to a scowl.

"We can't stand by and watch you wander around this late at night, can we? Demi-humans are savages after all! And look what he's done! He's already starting to burn the area! A savage ain't I right?!" He joked to his friends and they laugh together. Not wanting to deal with them, Zagi began walking away in the opposite direction. "What?! Running away? What a chicken." The taunt caused Zagi's black aura to be emitted again but it quickly disappears as he immediately put his anger under control.

"Shouldn't you be crying on your master's lap, vermin?"

"The fuck you called me?!" Galluk throws the bottle of liquor towards Zagi, to which he quickly reacts by turning around, catching the bottle and crushes it with his hand. "I'm no vermin. Its Galluk! And I'm not overlooking that damn, rude attitude of yours!!"

"Pfft! Hahaha! Bahahahahahah!" He laughs with his clean hand on his face.

"The hell is so funny huh?!"

"You would preach manners at others while throwing bottles of liquor at them? How wouldn't that be laughable?" He chided. "Speaking of which, it did somewhat remind me of how you just relieved yourself in front of her. HAHAhAHAHA." Hearing that causes Galluk's face to turn bright red as the embarrassment kicks in.

"D-DAMN YOU! I'M THE CLOSES TO THE HEAD OF THE MAGE'S ASSOCIATION IN RANK! I'm not a trash like you who isn't useful to anyone!" Unable to quell his anger from surfacing, Zagi's dark aura re-emerges once again along with his bloody glowing eyes, once more stares at Galluk with intense hate. He and his friends were stunned by his eyes that were drilling fear into their hearts.

"Me ? A trash ? Useful ? Perhaps you're misunderstanding something, vermin. I am not the one who is the trash, the one who is a trash, is you as you are the foolish one among the fools." Zagi points his finger at him. "It must be quite enjoyable isn't it, to be able to pucker up so close to your Master's legs? Might you also dare to go between it? Hahahaha."

"C-CURSE YOU!" He grabs a summon crystal from the pouch he had on his waist, and throws it to the ground, breaking it. A huge gust of wind began flowing like a tornado around the spot where the summon crystal was smashed on. Zagi stands straight and unmoving as the wind does not bother him as he watches the uninteresting scenery being played on. "Hahaha! HAHAHAHA! This is the end of your rude attitudes, Demon! After this, you'll be begging me for your life! Its the most powerful summon, able to burn everything to death! Come forth, Salamander!!" He calls upon the name of his summon.

The gust of wind finally ends and a giant dragon-like beast appears before Zagi, the Salamander. Its body covered in scales colored in red and short gaps on its back and limb could be seen to have magma flowing from within its body. The beast roars at Zagi as its materialisation completes.

"Galluk! You're using a summon in the city?!" One of his comrades shouted out.

"Shut up!" He yelled. "This is a level 30 Salamander! If you apologize now, I'll let you off with a few burns. Though it might be too powerful and kill you anyways!" He offers Zagi his leniency.

{Level 30...? Following game mechanics, that's a really weak status level. But what does it has to do with anything? }

"Burn him to crisp, Salamander!" Upon receiving the command from its master, the Salamander gathers its fire within its throat and unleashes a torrent of flames upon Zagi. Its fire was extremely hot that it lit up a certain part of the city and leaves fire traces that continues burning on the stone ground, like a sea of flames.

"Damn it, Galluk! You've really done it now!"

"Shut up! This is punishment for what that bastard did earlier!! HAHAHAHAHA!"

"This is the all powerful summon? Able to burn everything to death? How disappointing, I was a little bit excited to see how much damage that it could deal to me." Zagi emerges from the sea of flames, unburned, unscathed nor uninjured; walking with pure significance. "Turns out its just as hot as a matchstick."

"Wh-what the?!K-Kill him, Salamander!" The Salamander gathers its flames once more and unleashes yet another torrent of continuous flames towards Zagi. Once again, the flames of the Salamander strikes Zagi with its full force, but to no avail, none of it was able to injure the great Zagi as he continues walking closer towards the Salamander with its very own flames engulfing his body, showing the signs of a demon walking out of Hell, prepared to unleash chaos. "KILL HIM, KILL HIM, KILL HIM! KILL THAT INSOLENT GOOD-FOR-NOTHING!"

"I must congratulate you, Galluk. You're the very first mortal who has ever so bravely challenge to me." Zagi stops his movement just as he arrives at the closest distance between him and the Salamander.

"SHUT UP AND DIE, DAMN YOU!"

Zagi reaches out his palm towards the sky above the Salamander. Gathering his magic and strength, he commands a spell. "Hell : Meteor Arrow!" A massive dark crimson magic circle appears in the sky with Zagi's bow insignia in the middle; not a moment later, a burning meteorite made of obsidian with veins leaking with lava slowly emerges from it. A second later just after the meteorite finishes emerging, Zagi changes his palm into a grip, commanding the meteorite to compress itself into the form of an arrow. Galluk and his friends stayed gawking as they watch the magic that was happening. With another execution from the magic circle, the meteor arrow was launch with a powerful force, down towards the Salamander, causing a massive heat explosion in the area that blows away Galluk and his friends towards the buildings and the unburned tree behind them.

What was now left of the Salamander was just a deep scorching crater filled with lava. All the flames from earlier that was made by the Salamander had been blown away from the blast created from the Meteor Arrow's impact.

"Wh-wHaT?! H-hoW?! Th-this...this is impossibe!" Galluk cowers under the tree as he witness the great explosion made by Zagi.

{Hmm...it seems that I went a bit too far...luckily I didn't melt down any of the surrounding buildings. } He takes a look at the surrounding. {Perhaps I should take out the fire and clean the area anyways after this...I don't want to deal with a politic man later. I hate politics...and that Celestine woman might just be one of them. } He began walking towards Galluk who was in disbelief and confusion.

"You're just a demi-human...a useless trash...how could this be?! JUSTWHATINTHEWORLDAREYOU?!" He yelled at Zagi, who stands before him.

"Who am I, indeed...Hear and heed my name well, Mortal! I am Mephisto! The Demon Lord of Wrath!"

To be continued...

Author's note

Okkay! Now thats a wrap to yet another long planned to write fanfic! Phew! Man, I'm tired!

Ok now, before any of you say anything! I am aware that I have said something very hypocritical in the top author's note, but believe me when I say this, I have a very good reason as to why. Or maybe multiple reasons...

One, it is for being able to add Rose in the fanfic. I am not sure whether Rose will be playing an important role in the original story and who knows what occasions will she be needed to be played at. Plus, she's a very good example for a war maid that loves her master right? Too bad her maid outfit isn't to my liking...maybe I'll change it.

Two, like my Fangire of Zero, I hope to write this fanfic up to its season two of the original story. Speaking of which, why has there been no one answering my questions in its latest chapter? Are you guys even reading this?

For what Zagi is wearing, I'm referencing his clothes based on Oda Nobunaga from Fate. Why? Cuz I couldn't make up an original form of clothing for a Demon Lord that came from Japan. Just as you read in the story, Zagi is a reincarnator. And obviously, he died in a tragedy and he has a trauma.

Oh yeah! Regarding that thing about money earlier. Can anyone help elaborate how Friths work? I mean like how do you count that? Do you actually just say "two copper coins" or "500 Friths"? like does 500 Friths equals to two copper coins?

And I know that I'm also doing something that could be confusing to you but I have a very good reason as to why Zagi is calling himself Mephisto. If you're an Ultraman fan like me, I'm sure you can figure it out.

Ok. Thats all I have to say. Thank you for reading and I'll see you next time. Please do comment on my fanfics as it gives me motivations . See ya.
