[Traits]
•[Supernatural Beuty]- It is wildly known that all human-like supernatural beings are hot AF! 10 to charisma!
•[Yokai Gamer]- To others, your MP feels like Chakra/Chi.
'The 10 levels in [Chakra Manipulation] must be because of my Yokai nature.' I thought and Inspected my other skills. I got both gamer skills, and the [Observe] skill too, other than that I also have the two skills I wished for.
But it seems like [Dark Hand] Is an ability I need to level up. Maybe I can only take a part of the soul without reaching max level? Is lv10 Needed to take the entire soul while the levels below allow me to take "chunks" of it?
I guess I'll need to experiment.
Giving my system a silent nod, I turned off my stats and looked around me.
Im wearing what one may assume to be a potato bag, I have a collar on my neck, and im surrounded by a crowd that silently watched a battle between Raven Branwen and some other dude.
...
I should have probably realized all those things sooner, but I immediately went toward my stats upon transmigration.
I shrugged and watched the show.
This was a death battle, that much was obvious. Raven and the grizzled muscle mountain that she was fighting against were out for each other throats, at times the clashes didn't even have any traces of any combat style, just a bunch of slashes and stabs.
[Quest: Im stronger than you.]
[Description: You are a slave of the Branwen tribe, but it's time to change that! Assert your dominance and superiority by bitch-slapping the winner of the ongoing fight! (its obviously going to be Raven.)]
[Objective: Slap Raven Branwen after she claims her victory]
[Reward: You become invincible when Raven is your opponent. / {Supreme Killing Intent} skill will be available for 5 seconds. The skill may be activated whenever you like.]
[Penalty: your slave status doesn't change.]
That...Is way too good.
If the game is ever gonna speak to me again then I'll definitely ask about this, there is definitely something fishy going on here.
'Well, its not like im not gonna do it though.' With a smirk forming on my face, I watched the rest of the fight.
As the fight went on, Raven's opponent began to sweat, his breathing got heavier, and his body got slower. And Raven? She looked...normal. She was the complete opposite, no sign of exhaustion, no strained or tired facial expression, just complete focus.
Kinda scary to be honest.
It didn't surprise anyone when Raven eventually broke the man's aura and used her Odachi to decapitate him.
She calmly sheathed her weapon and began to give a speech of some sort. I didn't listen, I moved forward.
The crowd formed a circle around the battle, and when she began to give her victory speech she had her back turned toward me and the people beside me.
I heard someone say "Oi" which was quickly fallowed by other people voicing their opinions at the fact that a slave is boldly approaching the new leader of their tribe.
Raven heard the commotion and began to turn around, but it was too late.
Slap*
The sound of my extremely well-executed bitch-slap was heard by everyone, and it instantly shut everyone up. The crowd was so silent that you would be able to hear a pin being dropped.
Raven blinked at me.
First, her face was blank.
Next, for a brief moment, she looked confused.
And after the confusion, her face settled on cold quiet anger.
"Howdy! Im Kurayami, your next opponent for the position of the leader." I said in a happy-go-lucky tone as if I didn't slap the girl im talking to in the face while she was having an important moment.
"The ones that can challenge the leader are only the ones that are a part of the tribe. A slave has no rights." Raven responded and unsheathed her sword. "All you will get out of this act is public execution!" Her sword flew toward me, blade aimed to behead me just like the previous guy.
Curiously enough, time started to slow down as the blade got closer to my body, and it kept slowing down until eventually, it stopped entirely.
Damn, the system wasn't kidding when it said that I'll be invincible whenever I fight Raven.
I slapped her again, but hard.
Time resumes, her head jerks to the side and she stumbles to the side for a moment before regaining her balance. She gives me a look of pure disbelief but quickly dashed toward me.
Once again, time has stopped.
This time she aimed to slash me diagonally, starting from my left shoulder and ending somewhere around my right hip.
Or at least that's what I think she wanted to do depending on the position of the blade.
It doesn't matter, I slap her again. Harder.
Her head snaps to the side with such speed and force that I almost thought broke her neck. This time the slap makes her lose her balance completely and fall on her butt to the ground.
I quickly kicked her down into a laying position and put my feet on her stomach to prevent her from getting up.
"Slaves can't challenge the tribe for the leader position? Never heard of that rule." Raven tried to cut my leg off but her Odachi bounces back from my flesh without leaving a scratch. "Truth be told, im aware of only one rule in this little tribe of yours... Something about the strong surviving and the weak dying? Well, it means that the strong rule here, right?"
Nobody answered my question, Raven glared from underneath my foot and the crowd either stared at me intently or exchanged glances between themselves.
"If that's the case..."
[{Supreme Killing Intent} Activated.]
"Nobody will mind if I become the leader right? Or does anyone else wishes to challenge me to test if im worthy of my position?" Raven looked pale, the crowd took hasty steps backward and a couple of people fainted from the pressure.
[11 XP gained for killing a bandit]
[9 XP gained for killing a bandit]
[15 XP gained for killing a bandit]
And apparently, 3 bandits died from my killing intent.
How does that work? Is it similar to a heart attack?
[{Supreme Killing Intent} skill time limit has passed.]
I took my foot off Raven and started walking toward the big fancy tent in the distance. The crowd parted for me, the bandits giving me weary glances as I passed them by.
"By the way, that killing intent probably attracted a lot of the Grimm in the area." I said once I exited the crowd and turned my head toward them. "My first order is to deal with them, and bring me some more appropriate clothes after you are done." Once that was said, I resumed my walk and casually made my way toward the tribe leader's tent.
'I may be invincible to Raven, but I will definitely die if I fight a Grimm.' Not only that, but even if I won, how would I explain why I struggled against a Beowulf when I was able to trash Raven? Yeah, I need to figure out how to level up, and I need to do it fast. Sooner or later the tribe will start asking questions.
Hello! its me...ya' boy.
I decided to check in on our newbie. Not much time passed, but Gamers tend to get themselves in deep shit from the start.
how's it going kid?
Ah, perfect.
"I got a Quest with no challenge and big reward." I said and sat down on the bed.
Damn, this is comfy. "It feels like a quest specifically made to make me rise to power as quickly as possible."
If I had to guess...I would say its because of your privilege.
"Yeah, you said it before..." My thoughts wandered to the void where I was invited to be a Gamer. "You said that I get to be a Gamer with privileges."
Yeah, so?
"But why?" I question, confusion leaking into my voice.
As far as I know im just a normal guy! I lived a normal life and died a shitty death by trying to fight a guy who tried to steal my phone.
It wasn't even a good phone! It was flip phone!
Im not allowed to tell you.
sorry.
"Mhmm...so I have to figure this out myself?"
Yup.
Fucking hell...
Im kinda curious, but im not sure if its worth the trouble.
And I've read enough Fanfics to already have my suspicion. Im an orphan, never knew my mother nor father, never even saw their photo or even heard a description on how they look.
So my bet is on me being the child of an important Gamer, or sum shit like that.
"Can I enter?" A familiar voice sounded from the other side of the...curtain? vail? From the other side of the cloth that separates the outside and the inside of the tent.
"Yes." I responded simply and watched Raven enter the tent that would normally be hers...would be, if not for a certain fox guy with Gamer powers gaining a easy quest that gave him an unfair advantage toward her.
Don't you just love how Gamers mess up canon whenever they go?
"How's your face?" That was a stupid question, her cheeks are red, and the unimpressed look that she is failing to hold in only proves it right.
"Sore, sir."
Raven Branwen calling me "Sir" tickled me in a good kinda way... Am I into superiority fetish? Damn, this is a wild day, not only have I transmigrated, but I also start discovering things about myself.
I look down and notice that she is holding some clothes.
"Ah, splendid! wearing a potato bag isn't very comfortable..." Taking the clothes from her hands, I notice that its a lot of different styles of clothing, so I put them on the bed and start go through them.
"Why...?" Raven questiones behind me.
Hmm?
"Why what?" I question back.
"Why did you pretend..." Her face frowned, trying to find the right words to use without offending me. "Why did you lower yourself and play the role of a slave when you are this strong?"
Now that is a good question, isn't it? What would possibly be the reason for someone so "strong" to allow himself be taken by bandits and be treated like a slave?
"Boredom" My mouth blurted out before I could think of a more reasonable explanation.
'FUCK! uhh...okay, just roll with it' I thought and looked at Raven who was giving me a perplexed look.
"Boredom?" She parroted.
"Yup, I was bored, so I did a lil bit of roleplay!" Raven looked like she was rapidly losing brain cells. "What's the worse than could happen? You guys killing me? HAH, as if!"
"I see..." She said unsurely.
I have no idea if she bought my bullshit, but im not gonna push this matter further.
We stood there in silence for a while, Me going through the clothes Raven brought me, and her standing in the room and looking at me.
"Oh, and im making you my right-hand ma-...woman? my right-hand woman." I announced out of nowhere without looking back.
"Can I...ask why?"
Should I tell the truth? I think im gonna tell the truth.
"You are strong, you have a nice fashion style, your weapon is cool, and because sooner of later I will want you in my bed under me while you call me daddy." If she reacted, I didn't notice it since I was still going through the clothes.
Is this a black Kimono...?
Yeah, no. Im not wearing that. Where did she even found this stuff? does the branwen tribe has a bunch of clothes laying somewhere?
I turned around and looked Raven in the eye.
"If you are a good girl I'll play the role of the defensles boy and you will play the role of the woman in power. I'll let you decide on the details of your character." Im not entirely sure if that twitching lip is because of her irritation/annoyance/anger, or if the thought of dominating someone more powerful than her in bed tickled her fancy.
I stared at her, she stared back.
Inside my head, im contemplating a stupid idea, one that may potentially bite me in the ass in the future.
No, not now, maybe in the future when I level up, but not now.
"Anyway, is there something else or are you just standing in my tent for the sake of standing in my tent? If you don't have anything to say or do then get out, if I need you ill call you." I said and shooed her away. She gave me one last stare and left, leaving me alone in my new home.
Now... where is the mirror?
--Raven POV--
The boy, Kurayami if she remembered correctly? He is...Interesting.
When I was fighting him (If you could even call it a fight.) I was quick to assume that the speed of his attacks was the result of his semblance.
It was annoying, a brat humiliated me and beat me into the ground in front of the whole tribe. But he relied on his semblance, his speed. The tribe members would realize that and start making plans to take him down. After all, someone who relies on his semblance is nothing but a weakling pretending to be strong.
Once a way to counter his semblance would be discovered, someone else would challenge him. Maybe it would've been me, maybe it would have been someone else.
But if his semblance is speed...Then what was that terrifying pressure that he released when he pinned her to the ground?
He called it "Killing Intent" and I could easily guess why. When he used that ability I felt as if...
Killing intent...the intention to kill...
Was that kid truly prepared to kill anyone who would've oppose his leadership?
Maybe this "killing intent" is his semblance, but if that's the case, then how do you explain his speed? In all 3 years of beacon, and the brief time spent as a huntress, I never saw a human or faunus move that fast. It is baffling to even consider that something organic is capable of such speed!
It felt instantaneous, as if he stopped time itself to move and counterattack!
He is a mystery, a dangerous one.
"But he is still a teenager." I said to myself and smirked. He said it himself didn't he? He left me alive because he wanted to fuck me.
It was his right to do so, he won against me and he is clearly stronger than me. And the strong rule over the weak, that's just one of the many laws of the world.
Kurayami is a teenager with hormones, and im going to use them.
"Nothing more than a horny teen." I laughed.
This will be easy.
A/N: Kurayami has a good start eh? Not only was he immediately placed into a good position, he also gained full immunity to one of the future maidens! Well, Raven ain't gonna be a maiden now that MC is the leader, but still...he is immune to Bird Momma!
Also, Raven is trying to seduce our fox boy for her gains? ...if not for [Gamers Mind, this might have worked. But reality is often disappointinging, and Raven is gonna learn this the hard way.
