True World History

Written By:?

Gem War:

Thousands of years ago, an ancient race of aliens, called Gems, invaded the earth with plans to suck the planet dry to make more of their kind and further expand their empire. The planet had been given to the newest of the diamonds, Pink Diamond, as her first colony.

A problem soon arose as Pink Diamond fell in love with the planet. She begged and pleaded with her sisters in the authority to leave, but they refused. Pink Diamond decided to take the planet for herself and took on the persona of the mighty Rose Quartz.

She led a rebellion which began to cost Homeworld in ways they weren't prepared for. Staging the death of Pink Diamond was the final straw. After the perceived loss of the youngest diamond, those remaining in the Authority combined their power.

It does not matter what they set out to achieve as what they did turned most of the gems, Crystal and Homeworld, into twisted, monstrous versions of themselves. Rose Quartz managed to save herself, two members of her army, and a third whom she locked away prior to this event.

The last three Crystal Gems walked the earth attempting to capture the corrupted. During this time, they added another to their ranks. A defective Amethyst which had been found in one of earth's long since abandoned Kindergartens.

Life was like that for thousands of years until Rose met a human named Greg Universe whom she fell in love with. Even though Rose had a happier life, the corrupted gems continued to rampage, and such gems would forever change the fate of humanity.

Waldo Schaeffer(Franz Hopper):

In the 1950's, Waldo Schaeffer was born. He grew up and became a brilliant programmer who started his own company called Carthage Tech. This company not only set out to develop great things to help the world, but they were known for donations to charities, orphanages, and so on.

Schaeffer was a good man, and behind every good man, there is a good family. During collage, Waldo quickly fell in love with another, brilliant programmer named Anthea Hopper who took an active role in Carthage Tech.

Her role, which she performed quite well, was to manage the daily affairs. Through Waldo and Anthea, Carthage would thrive. Around the 1980's, they got married, and had a child. The three of them were a happy family.

Connection:

One day, in the late 80's, a corrupted gem attacked the Schaeffer residence. The crystal gems were late, and Anthea lost her life. Rose Quartz, who was with Greg at the time, apologized. Having seen the sadness in Hopper made a connection within her mind.

She couldn't imagine losing Greg as Waldo lost Anthea. She felt terrible for not having been there sooner. She tried her best to make amends for their failure, and Schaeffer accepted the apology thanking her for saving him. After this incident, things changed for Schaeffer.

Even though he thanked the Crystal Gems for saving him, he was grief stricken over the loss of his love. He may have let the tragedy get to him more than it should have. He started making odd decisions for his company. Resources were being diverted to a project of his that no one knew of.

This eventually led to the closure of Carthage Tech. Then, he walked away from the public eye and changed his name before moving into a home he called The Hermitage. He had taken his daughter with him. The news of his departure went public rather quickly.

In this way, it reached the ears of Greg Universe who brought it up with Rose. The news devastated her. The man whose wife she failed to save had thrown his life away. She started to search Paris with little luck for years to come.

While she searched, the man known as Franz Hopper had been keeping himself busy. Grief had led to new ambition. When he learned the world was a dangerous place, seething with monsters, he did what he knew best. He developed a program he named XANA.

It was made to create a world without danger. What does this entail exactly? Well, XANA was a multiagent program designed to access any data network in the world. This would allow Franz to have his eyes and ears everywhere in the world.

Simply watching would not be enough, so he developed a virtual world called Lyoko which would allow Xana access to our world through structures called towers. Through the tools given to him, XANA learned much about the world from humanity to the technology.

You can imagine Hopper's surprise when XANA discovered ancient structures on earth with code to go over. Franz and XANA combed through what they could. Their search saw both learning of the Gems and war fought thousands of years ago.

Nothing of corruption or the monsters were documented since those were factors that came into existence after the war. On top of that, Homeworld had closed off all data points, and the fire walls were much too strong for XANA to penetrate. Franz was not an idiot.

He could put 2 and 2 together and deduced that these corrupted monsters were somehow Gem in origin. After learning and deducing this, Hopper was terrified. He thought there was no way to defeat Homeworld, so he decided the only way to be safe was to run.

Run somewhere he and his daughter couldn't be found. The question became where? Homeworld practically owned the galaxy, and even if he could build a rocket, Homeworld would eventually find them. Then it hit him.

Hopper had wanted to use XANA to build a world without danger, and the towers within Lyoko where capable of accessing the real world. This got him thinking. What if he could travel to Lyoko? It would be the perfect place to protect himself and his daughter.

Franz got to work, and through this work, he discovered one of the many properties his supercomputer had. A function which became a byproduct of all his other work. Return to the Past which would reverse time. With this function, he had more time to work.

This was fortunate since he had no idea if or when Homeworld would return. Eventually, Rose, who was pregnant with her own child, managed to find Hopper. The two had a long chat about what he had been up to.

Once Hopper explained everything, Rose insisted he had nothing to fear from the diamonds, corrupted gems, or anything. Hopper didn't believe her. After a return to the past, he avoided Rose that faithful day meaning their meeting never happened for her.

Not long after, Rose gave birth to a baby boy named Steven Universe. It's around this time that five others important to the future of our world were born. Jeremy Belpois, Ulrich Stern, Yumi Ishiyama, and Odd Della Robbia.

A few years after these births, Lyoko was ready. Hopper took his daughter and escaped to Lyoko where they were to live forever. That's when XANA betrayed them. When they arrived, XANA confronted his creator calling him foolish and unworthy of protecting the earth.

XANA, being an artificial intelligence, made his own decision. He decided he'd defeat Homeworld and create their perfect earth. He gave his creator a chance to join him, but Hopper refused. XANA attacked only to ultimately fail when Hooper shut the computer down.

Present: Journal of Odd

My new roommate, Jeremy Belpois, is making me keep this journal. Anyways, this is the start of what I think will be an epic story. My name is Odd Della Robbia. I'm an 8th grade prisoner… I mean student… at Kadic Academy. I suppose a good place to start is at the beginning…

Kadic Academy: Science Class

A thirteen-year-old guy with dark purple pants, dark pink under shirt, and long-sleeved light purple shirt over top entered the classroom. He also had blond hair with a streak of purple and brown eyes.

The guy approached another thirteen-year-old guy with brown pants, long sleeved blue shirt, and glasses. He had all blonde hair in a sort of bowl cut style. As the first guy approached, the one in his seat looked at him.

"May I help you?" The seated guy asked.

"Well, you just happen to look like the person I'm supposed to room with." The first guy stated. "Are you Jeremy Belpois?"

"I am." Jeremy nodded. "You must be Odd Della Robbia."

"That's me." Odd slid into the seat next to Jeremy. "Nice to meet you roommate."

"He doesn't seem as bad as I imagined." Jeremy decided to be cordial. "It's nice to meet you as well Odd. Hopefully, we can get along."

"Don't worry about it." Odd stated. "I'm totally cool. I heard tell you're a smart guy, so it's unlikely you'll need my help; however, I'll lend a hand if you need it."

Jeremy nodded. "I'll keep that in mind."

A girl entered the classroom and Odd took notice of her. She had long, black hair and matching eyes. Her attire consisted of maroon pants underneath a salmon skirt and a pink shirt with a yellow heart which showed her stomach.

She approached some guy with brown hair and matching eyes. He wore a light green shirt underneath an open, dark green shirt and matching cargo pants. In Odd's opinion, he seemed like a bit of a loner, but that girl walked right up to him.

"Hi there Ulrich, sweetheart." The girl stated. "I've got something real important to tell you."

"Important like I lost my favorite pink T-shirt or my mascara ran?" Ulrich mocked.

The girl didn't seem to get it. "No, nothing as serious as that. It's something about you and me. If you want to know more, come by my dorm tonight at eight. I'm counting on you."

She walked off and Odd looked to Jeremy who had only been paying slight attention to the scene. "Hey roomie, who was that good-looking babe and the guy she was talking to?"

Jeremy looked at him. "That was Elisabeth Delmas or, as most call her, Sissi. She's the principal's daughter. I'd stay away from her as she's what most call a spoiled brat. As for the guy, he's Ulrich Stern. He's okay if a bit distant from most people."

"Huh, Sissi sounds pretty lame then." Odd simply shrugged.

After Class

Odd walked out of the building with Jeremy and was finishing up a joke he'd started. "… and the waiter says, 'I don't have frog legs. That's just the way I walk'." He laughed. "You get it?"

"Not really." Jeremy stated as he scratched his head. "Who could mix up frog and human legs. They are nothing alike anatomically."

Odd didn't think Jeremy was bad either, but he was a brainiac. "It was just a joke Einstein."

"Einstein?" Jeremy stopped. "Why did you call me that?"

"Well, the way you answered those questions confirmed you were a brainiac." Odd shrugged. "I figured the nick name fits, you know?" He held up his hands wanting to appease his new roommate. "Hey, if you don't like it, I won't call you it."

Jeremy started walking. "I didn't say that exactly."

Odd took that as a win and put an arm around Jeremy in a friendly manner. "We may be stiff now, but I can tell the two of us will be friends in no time. Just you wait." He continued to walk with Jeremy. "You'll see. By the end of the day, you won't know what to do without me."

Dorms

Jeremy and Odd walked to their dorm room. When Jeremy saw the disaster that was his side of the room, he was shocked. His attention was soon drawn to a small, gray furred dog rolling around on his bed.

"Odd, call a teacher!" Jeremy declared. "Someone let in a stray dog."

Odd quickly entered the room and closed the door. "He's not a stray, Jeremy. That's my dog Kiwi. The poor guy's just throwing a fit because he's not used to being copped up like this."

"You call this a fit!?" Jeremy exclaimed. "Just look at this. My clothes and computer disc are strewn about. Any later, and he may very well have gone to the bathroom on my bed. There's no way I can live with a dog like this."

Odd stood in front of him. "Let's not be rash Einstein." He walked over and picked up the dog who happily licked him. "He's honestly a really sweet guy, and he listens to me. I can train him to not touch your things, so please don't rat us out. Come on, be a pal."

"I don't know." Jeremy was wavering.

Even he had to admit that the dog seemed to love Odd.

"Just be cool, please." Odd begged. "I'll do anything you ask if you don't rat Kiwi out."

Jeremy sighed. "The only thing I want from you is to train that dog to leave my stuff alone." He walked over to his computer set up. "Now, I need to make sure he didn't do anything over here."

Alright!" Odd cheered. "You're the best Jeremy."

"Yeah…" Jeremy saw that things seemed alright with his set up, but he'd have to do a more thorough search before his eyes rested on his robots which seemed alright. "Hey Odd, I think I know where you can take Kiwi so no one from school will see him."

"Really?" Odd asked. "What do you have in mind?"

Jeremy turned to his roommate. "You can take him into the woods. Get far enough away, and Kiwi can do his business while making as much noise as he wants."

"Really, that's awesome!" Odd nodded. "Thanks for the tip."

"While you're out, I do have a favor I'd like to ask." Jeremy began, "Don't think you have to do it because I don't blackmail people, but it'd be helpful."

"Like I said in science class, I'll lend a hand if I'm able to do what you need." Odd nodded. "What's the deets roomie?"

"There's an old factory through the woods that's been long since abandoned." Jeremy stated. "It might have parts I don't. Parts that I need to finish my miniature robots. It'd be a big help if you could give it a look. Just bring back anything you can."

"You hear that, we're going on a walk." Odd stated getting Kiwi to bark happily. "That's right buddy, and we'll be checking out a factory while we're at it." He grabbed a bag. "Hop on in Kiwi." Kiwi jumped into the bag and Odd zipped it up. "See ya, Einstein."

"Have fun." Jeremy casually stated as he began a more extensive look at his equipment. "I'll send you directions as well as how to get to a tunnel if you're out past curfew."

"Thanks Einstein." Odd stated before taking off.

Factory

After taking Kiwi on a long walk, and making sure he used the bathroom, the pair had arrived at the old factory. The place was huge.

"Wow, I bet there's all kinds of creepy, cool stuff in there, right Kiwi?" Odd questioned and Kiwi barked in agreement. "Let's get in there and see what might interest Einstein."

The pair entered the factory which was huge on the inside. It did seem to contain quite a bit of metal and equipment; however, it was attached to other equipment. Overall, Odd didn't understand much of it.

He did take out a piece of paper and a pen to make a note of it. From there, the newest student walked around a bit more on this level finding cobwebs, spiders, and dead animals. There was also an elevator that Odd decided to try out.

First, he looked at Kiwi. "What do you think boy? A cool place, right?" Kiwi happily barked and wagged his tail. "This place would make an awesome hang out, and I can hide you here from time to time." He nodded. "If this elevator works, it's just that much more space."

Kiwi barked as the pair boarded the elevator. They moved down a level only to enter a room with a huge mega or supercomputer with all kinds of tubes connected down below. The dog exited the elevator and found a corner to curl up in for the time being.

Odd walked around the room. "Whoa, this place is wild!" He walked over to the computer and sat in the chair which could spin around to face the computer. "Bet Einstein would get a kick out of this. If I turn it on, maybe it's got some awesome games to."

Odd spun back around and ran to the elevator. Since the elevator didn't go to the second floor, he decided to try going further down. He figured there might be some sort of power source for that computer. If he could get the thing on, maybe Einstein could use it for something.

The elevator opened to a room with three, long and open cylinders which had more wiring in the back. A cool room, but nothing here screamed power. In fact, the room seemed dark. Maybe it had the same power source as the computer or something different all together.

Odd pressed the down button and ended up in a chilly room which contained some far-out object in the center. The moment the door opened, the machine itself rose from the ground with a panel which opened revealing a handle.

"I'm about 80% sure that's the on switch." Odd walked over to it and placed his hand on the lever. "Here goes nothing." He flipped it and the whole thing activated in an amazing display of light. "I didn't expect that, but I'm sure its fine."

Odd ran back to the elevator and rode it up where he saw that the room with the three cylinders was on. That seemed like a good sign, so he went up to the monitor room with that computer. Everything in there was on, so Odd ran to the chair and spun back towards the computer.

It read Code Lyoko before vanishing and displaying a sleeping, pink haired elf. "I figured this was some type of video game." Odd started looking around as the elf awoke. "I only wonder how I play?"

"W-who are you?" A soft voice asked. "Where… where am I?"

Odd looked at the screen to see that the elf girl was awake, and that her dark emerald eyes shined with confusion. "You're on a computer in some place called Code Lyoko… I think. Wait! You can see me? Man, you are such a cool elf."

"I can also hear you." The elf stated. "So, do you think you could call me something other than elf?" She tilted her head in confusion. "Also, what do you mean I am on a computer?"

"Oh, sorry for calling you an elf." Odd apologized. "Do you have a name?"

"I-I don't." The elf was trying hard to come up with something. "I… don't know."

Odd frowned slightly. "Well, is there anything you'd like to be called?"

The elf looked around as if an answer would come to her. "Ummm…"

"How about Sakura?" Odd offered.

The elf tilted her head. "Sa… ku…ra?"

"My folks once took me to Japan during the spring when the cherry blossoms were in bloom." Odd had a fond grin on his face. "Really pretty flowers that match the color of your hair, so I thought it fits."

"Sakura… I think I like it." The newly named Sakura nodded. "Now that I have a name, what is yours?"

"My name?" Odd smiled and pointed a thumb at himself. "I'm Odd. Odd Della Robbia." Sakura giggled at the odd blond as Kiwi, who'd decided to get up, came over and jumped into his owner's lap. "This little guy is Kiwi."

Kiwi licked Odd's face causing him to laugh. "Kiwi, cut it out boy. I know you love me, and I love you to." Sakura giggled as Odd got Kiwi to settle down. "Anyways, you're on this computer which contains some place called Code Lyoko. Tell me Sakura, is there anything around you?"

"Oh?" She looked around. "I don't quite know. I seem to have woken up in some sort of tower."

"A tower, huh?" Odd contemplated aloud. "Do you see a door or anything?"

Sakura had a look around before shaking her head. "Not that I can see, but there are two paths leading to the wall."

"No door, but paths?" Odd scratched his head. "Maybe if you walk along a path, you'll be outside."

It was his best guess.

"I'll try." Sakura walked off screen causing it to vanish, and she eventually spoke again. "I'm having trouble finding…" She stopped. "Odd… I… This is weird. You've got to see this."

"Uh, I'll be honest and say I know little when it comes to computers, Sakura." Odd admitted. "Is there anything you can do from in there to let me see?"

"I'll try." Sakura stated.

Soon, a window popped up showing Odd a forest with massive trees. "Wow." Another window popped up as did a holographic world nearby. "Sakura, if I'm reading this right, the forest may not be the only thing out there. I just can't tell what else is out there."

The guy just couldn't make heads nor tails of what he was seeing.

"Odd, remember when you asked about animals?" Sakura asked sounding a little frightened.

"Yeah, why?" Odd asked before he heard Sakura scream. "Sakura, are you okay!?"

"The animals are shooting at me!" Sakura yelled in distress.

Odd jumped out of the chair. "If what I know from video games rings true… run back to the tower Sakura. You should be safe inside!" He heard Sakura yelp and a stat screen appeared showing a loss of life points. "Sakura!" Her points recovered. "Are you okay?" Sakura appeared on screen laid out within the tower. "I think I need some help."

Kadic Academy

Odd knew the person to go to with a problem like his. Jeremy Belpois. He knew the guy was smart, but hopefully he could keep a secret until they figured out just what in the world was going on. Hopefully, Kiwi could be a good boy and stay put at the factory to.

He stopped when he noticed the nearby drink machine. "I am parched after running here from the factory."

Odd walked on over to get a drink. Ulrich happened to be walking to his martial arts class when the new student pressed a button only to be shocked catching his attention.

"New kid!" Odd slumped forward causing him to run over. "New kid, you alright?" Odd was unresponsive prompting the loner to help him up. "Come on, I'll get you to the infirmary." He grabbed out his phone. "I think I got Belpois number to tell him of this to."

As Ulrich helped the new kid away from the machine, a strange symbol appeared on it.

Nurse's Office

The nurse, a woman with blond hair and black eyes, was taking Odd's blood pressure while Ulrich stood nearby. "It's nothing to serious. Just a minor electrical shock and some superficial burns."

Ulrich smiled. "You wanted juice new kid, and you definitely got some."

Odd chuckled at that. "Good one." The nurse removed the equipment from his arm. "Honestly, thanks for bringing me here."

"Don't mention it." Ulrich stated. "Your roommate said he was on his way, but I'll come by to check on you after my class new kid."

"My name's Odd Della Robbia." Odd stated.

Ulrich nodded. "Ulrich Stern."

He left after closing the door.

Odd & Jeremy's Dorm Room: Later…

Jeremy had helped Odd back to the room, and once they were behind closed doors, the newest student informed him about his trip to the factory. Jeremy didn't believe him. That said, he was glad sending Odd to the factory hadn't been the reason he was in the nurse's office.

"Come on Odd, you really expect me to believe you met some girl inside a computer." Jeremy sat down before his computer. "That's absurd. Artificial Intelligence isn't at the level you describes."

"I'm telling you Einstein, it's true." Odd stated. "Plus, she's not just some girl. Her name is Sakura."

"Right…" Jeremy shook his head. "Look, I have no problem keeping this story between us, but I think it's just that. A story." He looked at the paper Odd gave him. "That said, these notes do interest me." He started typing at his computer. "Might need to plan a trip to your hang out."

Odd rubbed his head in frustration before getting an idea. "Alright, let's go tonight. I can show you the computer and Sakura. Then, you'll have to believe me." Jeremy looked over at him. "It's not like you get nothing out of this. After all, you said my notes were interesting."

Jeremy sighed. "I suppose it couldn't hurt to check out your story."

"Yes." Odd pumped his fist. "I guarantee you won't regret this." At that moment, a familiar logo to him appeared on screen. "Wait a minute." Jeremy looked with him. "That logo was on the monsters that attacked Sakura."

"That's peculiar." Jeremy started trying to the fix the issue. "It doesn't seem to be any of the viruses I've taken care of before. Plus, my systems should be incapable of receiving viruses since its upgrades."

Jeremy's miniature robots activated with that same symbol in their lens before attacking Odd. When Jeremy tried to help, another robot attacked him causing both boys to scream in pain as they were shocked.

Hallways

Ulrich had just finished his martial arts class with some girl a year his senior. As much as he didn't want to admit it, he'd underestimated her leading to a swift kick to the face and her pinning him down. He was suddenly drawn out of those thoughts by screaming.

Jeremy and Odd's Dorm Room

Ulrich burst into the room. At first, he looked to the beds before noticing the tiny robots shocking Odd and Jeremy.

"Hold on!" Ulrich shouted.

He lunged forward and took the robot off Odd's head before throwing it hard into the one attacking Jeremy's leg. Both robots were smashed and that strange symbol left Jeremy's computer giving the boys time to breath.

Ulrich eventually looked to Jeremy. "Your little friends are aggressive. Maybe you should check their settings."

Jeremy looked at Odd feeling bad that his robot had hurt the guy so soon after he got out of the infirmary. "I just want to say that shouldn't have happened." He looked to his robots. "They aren't capable of attacking."

"I don't blame you, Jeremy." Odd nodded. "Like I said, I've seen that weird symbol before."

"Odd, this isn't the time for your story." Jeremy stated.

Ulrich looked at them with a raised eyebrow. "What story?"

Odd looked from Jeremy to Ulrich before moving to close the door. "Look, what I'm about to tell you is the truth, but I got to know how well you can keep a secret…"

Factory

Odd led Jeremy and Ulrich through the sewers to the factory.

As the boys approached, Ulrich spoke up. "This is a great way to beat curfew."

"Give the credit to Einstein." Odd stated. "It's thanks to him that I even know about it."

"Do you honestly think this is why my robots attacked us Odd?" Jeremy asked.

"Not entirely, but it can't be a coincidence." Odd stated. "I saw that symbol on Code Lyoko."

They moved inside where Jeremy and Odd slid down a cable to the next floor while Ulrich hesitated.

"What's the matter?" Jeremy called up. "Scared of heights?"

"Uh, no." Ulrich played it off before sliding down.

The trio took the elevator down to the computer room with Odd stepping out immediately and being greeted by Kiwi. The other two boys, mostly Jeremy, starred at the room in amazement.

"It's actually real." Jeremy stated.

Odd was soon done greeting Kiwi and walked over to the chair before taking a seat. "Sakura, are you there?" For a second, nothing popped up, and he became worried. "Sakura, are you okay?"

"Sorry about that Odd." Sakura appeared on screen. "I'm still getting used to how things work."

Odd breathed a sigh of relief. "I'm just glad you weren't down for the count." He turned the chair to face Jeremy with a grin of satisfaction. "Still think I was making this up?"

They approached with Ulrich looking at the elf girl. "So, this is that Sakura you told us about?"

"Exactly." Odd nodded. "She's that artificial intelligence you were talking about Einstein."

"I would think you had Jeremy program this, but he's plain shocked." Ulrich shook his head before looking at her. "What's your story?"

"Story?" Sakura shook her head. "All I know is that I woke up here when Odd restarted the computer. Other than that, I don't know who I am. My memory seems to have been erased."

"Now do you guys believe me?" Odd asked.

"I have no choice." Jeremy smiled. "Odd, you've made the discovery of a lifetime!"

Ulrich was still on the fence. "Let's say this is real." He walked away. "What if… What if this is just some game?"

Odd spun around to the computer. "When I first woke her up, I thought this was all some game Stern. Then, Sakura was attacked, and I felt genuine worry for her. She's more than a game. After seeing that symbol in our world, I'm only more convinced."

"If it helps, those robots were only programed to fetch a ball." Jeremy shook his head. "I gave them no ability to attack people."

"If this is that dangerous, you should just shut the whole thing down Robbia." Ulrich stated. "Once you're sure it's off, call the police to handle it from there."

"Look, I'm not for people getting hurt, but I can't leave Sakura." Odd stated. "I think there's a reason she's in there, and I want to help her." He looked to Jeremy. "That's part of the reason I told you first. You have the smarts I lack to help her."

Jeremy approached the computer. "I think I can do more than help her understand why she's in there." He was studying the computer. "Given time, I could materialize her on earth as a real person."

Odd was hopeful. "Really Jeremy?"

Sakura was concerned. "I don't know if I want to work with anyone besides Odd."

Odd was the first person she saw upon waking. He gave her a name where she had none, went to find her help, and has been constantly positive around her.

Odd looked back at Sakura and gave her a grin. "It's okay Sakura. I'm not the smartest person with stuff like this, but Jeremy is." He nodded. "It's not like I'm going anywhere. You and I can converse plenty while Jeremy helps you."

"Hm." Sakura was still worried and a bit scared. "You promise you'll still be here?"

"You have my word." Odd grinned. "Plus, someone's got to tell you about all the fun you can have once you're here. No offense to Jeremy, but fun is something I excel at." He nodded. "Don't worry because I won't abandon a friend."

Odd's words put Sakura at ease. "Alright Odd." She looked at Jeremy. "As long as I can still talk with Odd, I will be happy to work with you Jeremy."

Jeremy was really hoping this pair would agree to let him have a crack at this supercomputer because this was unlike anything he's ever seen. It was like a dream project. If the caveat was having Odd around, Jeremy would agree in a heartbeat.

"Sounds like a deal to me." Odd stood up and Jeremy took the seat. "Let's get to work and see what we can find."

"What am I supposed to do while you two are at the computer?" Ulrich asked.

"Take Kiwi for a walk." Odd picked up and passed the dog to him. "He probably has to go."

Odd then walked back to the computer while Ulrich held the dog before him with a raised eyebrow. "Nice doggy?" Kiwi licked him. "Great…"

"That means he likes you." Odd called out. "Kiwi, be a good boy for Ulrich."

Kiwi barked happily while Ulrich sighed and tucked him under his arm. Considering his only other choice was to wait for them, he might as well take the mutt for a walk.

Computer Room

Jeremy had looked through the computer for answers to any of their current problems. After a while, he'd left to have a look at those cylinders and the battery while Odd stayed with Sakura. During this time, Ulrich returned with Kiwi and was bored out of his mind.

Fortunately, Jeremy soon returned holding a manual. "This has certainly been one of my quicker investigations, but time may be of the essence."

"What did you find Belpois?" Ulrich asked.

"That room with the cylinder objects is actually a room of scanners." Jeremy began. "As far as I can tell, it won't be simple to bring Sakura to earth. I'm not entirely sure what's wrong, as that will take more digging, but I can send someone there. Not only that, but they can return."

"Alright, I've had to come to terms with a lot tonight, but there's no way something exists to take people to a virtual world." Ulrich shook his head. "What you're talking about, virtualization, is straight out of science fiction."

"I wouldn't mind trying it." Odd stated getting everyone to look at him. "For all we know, those animals could be waiting to ambush Sakura outside her tower. Someone's got to get in there and try something. We won't get far if all we got is her tower."

"Are you sure about this Odd?" Jeremy shook his head. "This could prove dangerous."

"Jeremy has a point." Sakura stated. "I'm not sure how comfortable I am with you doing this for me when it could harm you."

"You all worry too much." Odd grinned. "I have faith in Jeremy. He'll get me into Code Lyoko no problem."

"That's another thing." Jeremy stated. "The world is just Lyoko."

"Not really the point Einstein." Odd shrugged. "Anyways, are we doing this or what?"

"Only if you're sure." Jeremy stated.

Odd walked towards the elevator. "I'm already on my way." He put his fist into the air, "Let's do this." He looked back at the computer giving Sakura a goofy grin and thumbs up. "I'll be seeing you real soon Sakura."

Sakura decided to trust in him. "I'll look forward to it."

It took a long time to reconstruct everything I lost, but I've done it. For those of you who remember this story, it was unfortunately deleted from this sight and my computer by my cousin. Long story short, this was evidence for my mother why I'm serious about protecting my stuff. Anyways, I'm going to gradually release these chapters until it's caught back up to where it had been before deletion.

Note: While I know this story should technically be under a Steven Universe & Code Lyoko crossover. They won't completely get involved in this story until much, much later.
