Long ago... Titans, Giant monsters whose powers rivalled that of gods, once ruled the earth...

There were many species of these hulking masses, but there were two in particular that preyed on each other without hesitation, We know them today as the MUTO and the Titanus Gojira Species.

One of the Gojira's species, a father named Dagon, was locked in a timeless battle with the mother of the Muto that his son would fight later in life, Muto prime.

Dagon, despite damaging the Parasite severally, failed in defeating the Muto Prime. He was impregnated with the Primes spawn and died to the spawn sapping him of his radiation shortly after his son, Gojira, found him in the crater made from the battle.

Many years later...

Gojira, now known as Godzilla, now keeps the awakened titans in check with his newly obtained alpha status, but as more of the Titans wake from their slumber, Humanity and more importantly Monarch begin to worry about what would happen if Godzilla wasn't there to protect them.

That, was when Monarch had an idea. If they used the destroyed remains of Mechagodzilla and the skeleton of Dagon, they would be able to defend cities, prevent titan attacks and help prevent any further death...

But as time went on, the machine they made, it began behaving..."Erratically". Despite the Pilot having full control, the mech would act in strange ways...picking at walls, staring at Scientists as they pass by the glass and acting more like an animal than a robot.
It was all very strange, the team decided they needed an expert, and who better to call than the team that piloted the Argo back in 2019! After all, they've been closer to the Titans more than anyone else ever has...

But now, as they each received a call to meet at an underground mountain Monarch base...Something was about to go very, very wrong.

Mark Russels Home

Mark: "For the last time Maddie, I refuse to let you get roped up in this stuff again!"

Madison: "But Dad! That call you got has to be important if they called you for it! You know that I'm in this just as deep as you are."

Mark: "No you're not Maddie, not anymore. I'm not allowing a repeat of 2021, so I'm calling Bernie to make sure you don't cause any trouble."

Madison: "What makes you think he won't help me? He helped back in hong kong!"

Mark: "...I agreed to be on his Podcast if he helped me."

Madison crossed her arms in anger before walking away, her father tailing close behind her.

Mark: "Hey, I'm just trying to keep you safe. You know that right?"

Madison: "Yeaaah, I know."

Mark: "You can call Josh over too if you want, just don't trash the House too much while I'm gone, okay?"

Mark hugged Madison with all his might before leaving for the door, staring at Madison one last time.

Mark: "Please, Please don't get involved with this on purpose again. I can't lose you too."

"...okay, I won't."

"Thank you, I love you."

Mark shut the door behind him and attached a sticky note behind a potted plant, stating:

Dear Bernie,

Thank you for watching over Madison for me, I asked you because Madison owes you her life and I don't have anyone left to babysit her while I'm gone.

Make sure to knock hard, Madison will let you in, I've already bought food.

Thanks
Mark Russell.

Mark then got into his car, flipped on the radio, and started the beginning of a very long drive...One that would mark the last time Mark was ever slightly normal.

MONARCH, MOUNTAIN TESTING FACILITY

"So you're telling me that this giant hunk of metal tried to eat one of the Skullcrawlers?"

Mark had arrived not too long ago, he sat at a bench and talked with the various Scientists, the way they were describing the Mech made him think of how Infant babies or wolves act. Poking and Prodding at walls, observing and mimicking every sound and motion they hear. Overall, it felt like either the Pilot of the Mecha was pulling a prank that would undoubtedly get him fired or the machine despite not having known motor functions is curious about its surroundings.

"Yes sir, it's been very bizarre."

"Are you sure it's not the Pilot just...messing with you?"

"We're sure, Surveillance Footage and Movement Inputs show Pilot 3 leaving the control terminal before any of the anomalies happen."

"Oooh, maybe it's Possessed! Ooooooooh SpOoOkY!" Rick Stanton chimed in from the corner

"I regret inviting you, I truly do." Illene lamented.

The group made their way past the huge hallway of Giant robotic arms, legs and missile launchers. They looked on in awe of the scale and more importantly how many of them there were.

"Holy hell, I knew this Company had a lot of money but not this much."

"We don't, not only did we have our own reasons for building MSF-3, another company that we've partnered with in the past has funded this entire thing."

"MSF-3? What kinda name is that?"

"It stands for Multipurpose Fighting System. We have not thought of another name for the mech, but we doubt it is needed."

"Okay, and what's the company?"

"Oh, I know! It's...Uhhh, It's something Foundation, eh it's not important right now."

"What matters is that this entire thing wouldn't be possible without them."

The Scientist moved to a closed door and scanned in his Keycard, allowing the rest to enter inside.
The room was massive, Computer terminals lay everywhere with people hard at work and a giant window the size of a house at the end, with the room behind it completely shrouded in shadow.

"What is this? Is this where you test the Robot?"

"Yes, We required a bigger space as the Mecha was even bigger than Godzilla. Now, enough fooling around, Bring up MSF-3 and power it on!" The Scientist yelled to the entire room.

"Sir, Should we tell Pilot 3 to enter the Cockpit?"

"Negative."

Lights in the opposite room roared to life, revealing the gigantic metal chamber that looked like it stretched on for miles.

"How big is this thing?!" Mark yelled over the whirring of engines

"122 meters or 400 feet tall Sir!"

The middle of the chamber opened, revealing a hulking mass covered in mist. The mist dispersed to reveal the Mecha, its eyes slowly lighting up in a deep yellow, its size was formidable, only slightly taller than Godzilla. From what the group saw, they'd expected it to be covered head to toe in weaponry, but that didn't seem to be the case, the metal seemed to bend as the Mech hunched over, making the illusion of real skin on the shoulders and Forehead, the only visible weapon being the giant red symbol on the chest.

"It is...much more elegant than I expected it to be."

"We've made vast improvements over the original design made by Apex, this Mecha has been purpose-built to subdue Titans and help Godzilla keep the peace, finally allowing Humanity to fight back in a way that doesn't threaten the Peace."

Thunderous footsteps echoed as the Group turned back to MSF-3, it walked over and peaked into the window, studying the group closely.

The Scientist nudged the bewildered Mark and showed him a live feed of the Security Cameras.

No one was at the Control panel. This thing was moving on its own.

"...Is this thing Possessed?"

The Mechs neck snapped towards Rick, its eyes narrowing in suspicion.
Rick Instinctively backed away and threw his hands up, hoping he didn't anger the Robot.

However, the mouth of the robot simply opened.

"DESIGNATION:
RICK STANTON, MONARCH EMPLOYEE AND NAVIGATOR OF THE ARGO.
CLEARANCE LEVEL: 7

WELCOME TO THE BASE, MR STANTON."

"...Holy...shit..."

Scientists began furiously writing and making notes on this discovery, MSF-3 had just talked.

Its voice was a mixture of voices, probably from the voices of the scientist.

"...How is this possible? When you said you made a weird Mech I was expecting something less human-like!"

"The original Mechagodzilla had a function that allowed to learn in battle, that's the only possible explanation for this."

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY...ORIGINAL?"

"WERE THERE...OTHERS BEFORE ME? ARE THERE...STILL OTHERS LIKE ME?"

"UHMMMM, you could say that?!"

This was insane, never had they thought they would ever communicate with a titan, even if it was just a replica of the King.

"HMM..."

MSF-3 walked to the wall and gripped the barring to the left of it.

"I SENSE...PRESENCES... FROM ABOVE."

"A-A presence? What kind of presence?"

"TWO OF THEM, BOTH HOSTILE TO EACH OTHER."

"SIR, SIR!"

"NOW IS NOT THE TIME-"

"Titanus Behemoth and Amhuluk are fighting! They're getting close to a city nearby, the casualties could range in the tens of thousands!"

"WHAT? Damn it! Where is Godzilla?"

"Reports show he's handling Titanus Scylla in another location."

The Scientist then looked towards MSF-3 who then looked back, he nodded towards the Mecha before turning back around.

"Inform Pilot 3 of the situation, we're deploying MSF-3 early."

"What? But theres so much we don't know! Especially now that we know the Machine can learn-"

"Thousands of lives are at stake and I'll be damned if I'm gonna let them die just for a few more days of testing. Where is the battleground?"

"30 miles from here, near Tallahessee Magnet High, I'll notify transport vehicles."

"Wait, are you kidding me, that's the High School my Daughter goes to-"

CRASH

A giant crash of metal was heard, the General looked back to see MSF-3 doing what would be the Kaiju equivalent of sprinting in the direction of the fight.

"THE MECH HAS ESCAPED, SOMEONE GET THE PILOT TO THAT DAMN CONTROL PANEL NOW!"

The battle was fierce, both kaiju neither backing down from the fight. This wouldn't end until the other died.

Behemoth grunted as he stared back at Amhuluk, he had fought against it before and almost died, only when Godzilla intervened did Amhuluk back down. But Behemoth could tell that Godzilla wouldn't be here to help this time, he'd have to fight with all his might.

Amhuluk screeched at him, gathering up nearby trees and vegetation to repair itself, Behemoth saw his chance and charged at Amhuluk while it was distracted, piercing its Thick roots with his tusks.

Behemoth reared up on his hind legs and spun Amhuluk around, sending it hurdling into a mountain nearby. Amhuluk simply shrugged it off as it reeled back and sent its stretched out arm, launching it at Behemoth.

Behemoth tried his best to dodge but was caught up in the roots of the stretched out limb, wrapping around Behemoth's arms so it couldn't escape.

Then, the roots seemed to sharpen at the ends, slowly they dug into Behemoth's woolly coat, eventually piercing his arms.
Behemoth roared in pain as it tried in vain to shake off his bindings, which in turn only helped the roots destroy his limbs further.

Amhuluks face if you could even call it a face, was plastered with a gigantic grin as it continued to tighten around the Mammoth Titan.

But suddenly, it let go.

Behemoth now free of his restraints looked to continue his battle and looked to Amhuluk, who just stared...into a cloud of mist.

Behemoth wanted to question the Root Titan but instead also looked into the fog, a blue light travelled its way towards then, leaving a humming noise as it walked.

Behemoth recognised this sound, but, it sounded...different. Different than his alpha's, more mechanical-"

"ABSOLUTE ZERO CANNON ONLINE."

Suddenly, a giant ball of blue energy soared towards both kaiju, behemoth managed to dodge put the way but Amhuluk wasn't so lucky, leaving the Tree Titan frozen solid.

Behemoth looked to where the blast came from and watched as the mist cleared...revealing a metal replica of Godzilla.

"HOSTILE TITAN NEUTRALISED, POWERING DOWN TO CONSERVE ENERGY..."

The metal giant spoke the titan language, albeit a bit robotic as the dorsal plates on its back shot off in various directions, circling the main titan protectively.

Standing up on his hind legs to appear more intimidating, Behemoth glared at the metal monster before speaking.

"What are you, pretender? Another failed attempt by the smaller ones to replicate our power?"

The mech didn't respond, instead, the drones circling it pointed straight at Behemoth, being sure to attack if the Titan made any sudden movements.

Behemoth was not Intimidated.

The mech noticeably twitched before opening its eyes, allowing the drones to make their way onto his back once again.

"SCANNING... SCANNING...

SUBJECT: TITANUS BEHEMOTH
HOSTILITY: ATTACKS ONLY WHEN ATTACKED.
SUMMARY: NOT A THREAT TO HUMANITY."

"What on mother earth...?"

The mech made its way over to Amhuluk and grabbed it by the face, throwing the frozen titan into the ocean, before turning back to Behemoth.

"I...HAVE NEVER SEEN A TITAN LIKE YOU BEFORE. CONTINUE WITH YOUR WORK, I MUST LEAVE AND RECHARGE."

The ocean behind the mech began to rumble, Behemoth immediately readied himself for another fight, yet the mech remained silent, staring at the ground.

Amhuluk burst from the water and lunged the Robot, but was blasted away as the mech turned and blasted it away with a beam from its mouth, knocking Amhuluk away.

"PHOTON WAVE ONLINE..."

Amhuluk slinked back into the ocean, causing the Mecha to go in after it, pulling it out and launching it back onto land.

"TITAN IDENTIFIED AS TOO HOSTILE. INITIATING SEDATIVE SCORPIO-"

The titan suddenly grabbed the robot and hit it several times over the head with its root barred fists until the Mecha stopped moving, but was finally impaled in the head by behemoths tusk, ultimately killing it.

Behemoth dragged Amhuluks body out towards the beach and laid it there, allowing the sea to sweep it up.

"Mother earth will guide you now, hopefully you can be forgiven for your hostile actions against others..."

"ERR-OR E-E-E-E-E-ERROR S-SSYTEM OVERIDE...REBOOT." The Robot spasmed on the floor.

Behemoth made his way to the malfunctioning robot, looking down at it in sympathy.

"Despite being a creation of the smaller ones, you aided me greatly and for that, I thank you. What is your name?"

"POWER CAPACITY AT 36.8%…"
M-MY NAME? MY DESIGNATION IS M-MSF-3."

"Hmph, a foolish name for one as valiant as yourself, given to you by the smaller ones I'm sure... Might I suggest another one?"

"POWER CAPACITY AT 16.3%"

"...I'm slightly familiar with the smaller ones languages, specifically the language known as Japanese, so how about..."

"Kiryu."

"POWER CAPACITY HAS REACHED CRITICAL LEVELS, SHUTTING DOWN..."
