Months After The Disappearance of MSF-3
"Many months had passed since the giant Robot's disappearance. Monarch could only find remnants of the battle left behind, and the corpse of Titanus Amhuluk, who had been reportedly impaled through the skull. Despite monarch being very adamant that the Titan is incapable of hurting other titans unless it's forced to, the government were having none of it."
"The entire program has been shut down after the catastrophic result, and the company that funded the robot have joined forces with monarch to find the Mech that vanished, this company has declared anonymous. 14 people died and many more were injured in the countryside during the fight, causing many families to move further inland to escape further Titan attacks. Well, that's all we have for today! Tune in 2 hours from now for the scoop on meteor X and what its appearance means for us-"
The radio was suddenly flipped off and on again, the owner sighing as he changed the channel to something a little more light-hearted.
"Hey, Everybody Welcome back to Kaiju Kraft radio, where the only thing bigger then our playlists are the monsters that roam our earth! Today we have one of our classics playing today, so be sure to sing along...as we listen to 'Mr Blue Sky' By Electric Light Orchestra!"
"Oh hey, I love this one!"
Before the voice could start singing, the radio suddenly screeched to a halt and began smoking, causing the figure to roll its eyes in frustration.
"Well, there goes all of my hard work, took me almost an hour to construct a radio the size of a building but screw Kiryu right?"
Flipping the light switch on, a giant metal kaiju, by the new name of Kiryu, grabbed the broken radio and ripped the transceivers from it before throwing it into a nearby bin.
"Guess I could work on that Monarch Comm Interceptor that I said I was going to build 2 weeks ago...Nahhhh, I'll be fine for a little while longer."
Kiryu brought up his hud, looking through the weaponry slots and then the power meter.

"Damn it, I can't just hide down here forever. There has to be a way to just...make the world forget about me somehow. Ever since I woke up it felt as if the entire world has been after me."
Kiryu sat down on the dirt floor and dug up a small case from under the dirt.
"The urge to go up there because of my programming isn't helping either."
Kiryu opened the latches and looked inside, revealing a small microchip about the size of a car.
"Just need to find or make a suitable body for this thing and I'll finally have backups in case something happens."
Kiryu sighed and placed the microchip back into its box before sliding it back into the dirt hovel.
"Best not think about that now."
Kiryu pulled up his hud once more.
"Show me the nearest power plant."
A map of the entire globe appeared before Kiryu's very eyes, with many bright dots indicating the various power sources across the world, as well as the locations of various titans, however Kiryu's signal is noticeably absent.
"Show the safest route there."
A small little white line made its across from nowhere and stopped at a dot, labelled "Abandoned Monarch Power plant #2."
"No titans or active Monarch personnel nearby and an ample amount of energy to use, seems pretty good to me!"
Kiryu, now with a slight bit more optimism, opens the metal scrap door to his secret base and climbs up the ladder, with each strut of the ladder he climbed, he lost more and more of his optimism until his face was nothing more than stoic. He didn't want to admit it, but he hated this. being forced day after day to hide in a small cave he could barely fit inside, risking his neck just so he doesn't run out of power, or was all too stressful.
Still, Kiryu relentlessly pressed on as he finally forced open the hatch at the top of the ladder. Breaking off the soft moss and shaking off the small boulders, Kiryu peeked his head out slightly before gripping the edges and pulling himself out.
Checking his map and setting a marker on his destination, Kiryu opened his arms as Propellers ejected out of his back, spinning to life.
As Kiryu was thrust into the air, the rocks and mud around him were blown into giant hills around him, catching the attention of two eyes up by the mountain above Kiryu's cave.
"...Contact the Boss. We've found Monarchs Robot."

INFANT ISLAND
Godzilla lay there on the beach, finally enjoying some peace and quiet. Ever since Mothra began having premonitions of her new egg hatching, it has been impossible for Godzilla to even sleep on the same beach he always slept at without Mothra rushing to his side and freaking out. Although, he could see why Mothra would be so excited. Most eggs she lays exist only to be backups in case something happens to her in battle, the larvas mind and conscience would be taken over by her own and she would be reborn anew, although Godzilla couldn't help but think about how cruel that was.
Imagine dying to protect your kin, your own flesh and blood. They grow up thanks to your efforts, lead a healthy life, maybe even find a mate and have their own family, until you just take away that life from them and erase them entirely, like they never existed at all. But, Godzilla supposed that was just how Mothras species worked.
But this larva was no mere backup plan, it was her child with a will of its own. And soon it would help him and its parent fight against the disturbers of the peace-
"Godzilla!"
Godzilla sighed in annoyance, even after hiding to escape his queen, she finds him all the same.
"Where were you? You said that you'd be right outside."
Godzilla simply muttered and turned away from Mothra, who in turn sighed in response, sitting down next to Godzilla's slumbering form. Slowly, she began to sing a lullaby, showing off her motherly nature. Despite them being almost the same age, Mothra always found a way to take care of her subjects and friends, even if it's just small things like helping them fall asleep.
As Mothra finished singing the lullaby, Godzilla opened his eyes and shook his head, attempting to wake himself up.
"I'm sorry I left, hearing you panic about the egg made it hard for me to sleep."
"It is completely fine Goji, I shouldn't have been so...erratic. Although, you disappearing out of nowhere wasn't exactly comforting."
Godzilla chuckled slightly before closing his eyes again, a smile creeping slightly onto his face.
"Again, I apologize for that. That battle with both the ape and human creation has had an unexpected effect on my body."
"Broken bones?"
"Yes, I think so. But with the natural radiation this island emits, it should be healed in a week or so."
Mothra sighed when reminded of Godzilla and Kong's battle, there was truly no need for them to fight like that, and there was certainly no need for Godzilla to almost kill Kong either.
Suddenly, Rodan dived down from the sky with Anguirus in his talons, dropping him down to the floor.
"My lords! I have urgent news from-"
"Ugh, drop the act Rodan. We forgive you for the whole Ghidorah situation so man up. Despite them being our king and queen, they're your friends." Anguirus said, annoyed at Rodan's behaviour.
Rodan put down his head in shame as Anguirus stood up and ran over to the group.
"Mothra! There's a giant meteor in the sky, the thing is massive, almost the size of a city!"
Godzilla shook off the dirt on his dorsal plates and went up to Anguirus and Rodan, Eyeing them closely.
"Are you sure it was a meteor and not some sort of Human-made machine? There have been a lot of those as of recently."
"Yes, absolutely! And the weird thing is that it just appeared out of nowhere all of a sudden and whenever we get near it we feel...how do I put this, nauseous?"
"I must go see it for myself."
Godzilla began making his way to the ocean only to be stopped by Mothra.
"OOH No-no-no. You promised you would stay right on this island. What would happen if Ghidorah just showed up and destroyed this place, or the egg hatches with no one there to help it and so it grows up with no love and care and-"
Mothra begins hyperventilating furiously, with Anguirus and Rodan trying desperately to calm her down.
This was a side of Mothra Godzilla never thought he would ever see, Mothra is usually the wise sage type, so to see her truly panicked was a sight to behold.
"Easy Mothra, The Big G is just going to go check it out, he'll be right back! Right Godzilla?"
Hearing this made Godzilla nervous, he didn't know if he was gonna be right back and he was pretty sure Anguirus knew that, but the hopeful stare Mothra gave Godzilla was too much to handle.
"...Yes, It should only take a few hours to observe the meteor." Godzilla said, trying as hard as possible to make his lie seem believable.
Mothra nodded slowly before flying off, looking back with a worried expression before disappearing from view.
Godzilla tapped Anguirus on the forehead and nodded to him, Anguirus then sprinted into the forest in Mothra's direction.
"Where did you send him?" Rodan questioned.
"He's going to help out Mothra, she needs someone to support her right now. I'll take his place when we get back. Come with me."
"Got it G, the meteor is that way!"
Godzilla entered the water and swam as fast as he could, forcing Rodan to have to fly at full speed to keep up with him. Godzilla knew something was wrong, he could feel it. And as the balance keeper of this world, it was his duty, his obligation to see what was wrong.
For however long that would last.
2 HOURS AFTER GODZILLA LEFT INFANT ISLAND.
Despite Anguirus vehemently denying it, Mothra was not an easy person to lie to. She could see it on Godzilla's face, the guilt after the conversation, the sentimental look he gave her, she knew Godzilla way too well for him to be able to lie to her.
And yet, she didn't stop him, why didn't she do that? There was no reason to not call out Anguirus and Godzilla for their lie, but Mothra just went along with it, why did she do that?
The egg began to shake violently again, this time even more than before, causing Mothra to freak out and attempt to hold the egg still.
Anguirus rushed over and tried to help Mothra but was stopped as Mothra began humming to the egg. The song she hummed was a different lullaby from the one she sang to Godzilla, this one was her rendition of the song her followers would sing to wake her up, only slowed down to seem less loud.
Anguirus looked on in awe as the egg slowly began to settle, allowing Mothra to put it down gently. Mothra sighed in relief before leaving the room, thinking that Anguirus could protect the egg on his own.
Mothra emerged from the temple and sat down in front of the ocean on the smooth sandy beach, attempting to calm herself down. She focused on the small waves that crashed against the sand, turning from a brilliant yellow to a muddy brown with the water, some seaweed lay around her, laying there as its vibrant green colour was absorbed by the sun, turning it to a dark murky green.
Mothra managed to distract herself for a while longer, just long enough until she felt a presence to her left, one she was very familiar with.
Looking down, Mothra met eyes with one of the descendants of her Shobijin, a woman named Illene Chen, the only human she could semi-communicate with.
Mothra could see the boat she came off of, they were undoubtedly here to study her and her egg. Mothra wasn't going to let them near it obviously, she wasn't going to allow what happened to her to happen to her child but it was nice to see that the Shobijin were still there, after all, she did always enjoy their company.
She couldn't exactly hear the human but could tell she meant well. The connection she had with the humans ancestors was much stronger, perhaps after a while of being asleep, Mothras followers soon forgot about her and made that connection weaker?
Mothra leaned near to the human's face, her eyes glimmering in the sunlight as-
"INTRUDERS!"
Anguirus suddenly roared and barreled towards Illene Chen and the boat, causing the humans to flee and escape as Anguirus chased them until he couldn't anymore.
"Stay off the Island you little rats!"
Mothra face palmed as Anguirus turned towards him. His face turned into a questioning glance.
"What? What did I do wrong?"
"Just...leave me be Anguirus. I need to think."

Finally, Kiryu had arrived at the abandoned power plant. The place was the definition of broken with cobwebs the size of buildings and huge craters in the middle.
Kiryu could tell that this place hadn't been touched in a very long time.
"Just get to the source and get out Kiryu. Don't look at anything else."
Kiryu scanned the wasteland for any radiation source, anything that could help him with his power situation until he landed on a strange object in the distance.
Kiryu crept closer and reached a button near his temple, turning on his eye lights and revealing the object to be a half-destroyed cocoon. Through scans on his hud, the cocoon had suffered both damages external and internal. There were faint burn marks all around the base with a giant gap in the middle, indicating whatever called that thing home had hatched.
Kiryu noticed his radiation meter going to abnormally high rates as he edged closer to the cocoon. This must be the source he was looking for or at least a part of it.
Kiryu grabbed onto the strange wires surrounding it and pulled himself over, his hand crackled as electricity shot its way into his hand, causing him to promptly pull away as he landed.
"This place still has power? Huh, wonder how that works..."
Kiryu peered into the interior, only to come face to face with an oily black sludge at the bottom, likely that species amniotic fluid, a juice that surrounds a baby during birth.
Through furrow scans, Kiryu could tell that this was the highest none occupied radiation source he was going to get.
*This is the best thing I can think of but...Ew, this might have a negative effect on my other systems if this is put into my body. Damn it, I'm gonna need to put it through a filtration machine which would require stealing or building one and then finding a container to allow it to remove the solid part of the compound-"
"GAAAH! What the...The hell?" Kiryu suddenly roared in pain as a high pitched screeching sound entered his ears.
Kiryu reeled back in pain before staring into the sky, the cloudy sky that once provided him cover from the sun had dispersed almost immediately, revealing a giant meteor near by the horizon. It glowed an eerie maroon, accented by a orange firey hue. The more Kiryu looked at it, the more his systems began to glitch.
"I need to get out of here, now. Screw the power situation, I can last a few more days-"
Suddenly Kiryu was grabbed and thrown across the wastelands, smashing into a broken down cooling tower.
Kiryu shook the debris off of his dorsal plates and looked back to where he was standing, only to reveal a...
*Oh god its a spider.*
The giant spider moved up closer to Kiryu and jumped at his face, mandibles drawn. Kiryu, using his quick reflexes, managed to dodge just barely before attempting to use photon wave.
A sudden beep sound effect was heard, with the words "PHOTON WAVE CHARGING, PLEASE WAIT A LITTLE BIT LONGER."
"OH, COME ON-"
Kiryu was launched back again by the giant spider, Kiryu retaliated by pulling data from the fighting styles of various monsters, before finally deciding on Godzillas.
Kiryus stance changed as the spider charged him once more, before being smacked to the ground by Kiryu's tail, curling up as it went back and gained some more distance.
The spider screeched at Kiryu and shot webbing towards him, wrapping him up in the yellow acidic webbing.
Kiryu struggled and struggled but couldn't break free and the spider was closing in fast, thinking fast, Kiryu released his Maser blade and began wearing away at the restraints on his body, finally slicing downwards to not only hit the webbing, but his enemy as well.
With his enemy on the floor, seemingly paralysed by the mild shock the maser blade gave it. Kiryu took the opportunity to scan the creature.
SUBJECT: TITANUS KUMONGA
BEHAVIOUR: HOSTILE
SCANS INDICATE THAT THIS TITAN WHILE NORMALLY AGGRESSIVE TO TRESSPASSERS IS CURRENTLY UNNATURALLY ANGRY, PROCEED WITH CAUTION.
THIS TITAN HAD ONLY WOKEN UP A FEW WEEKS AGO, IT IS STILL NEW TO THE ALPHA SYSTEM, PREFERABLY KEEPING TO ITSELF. IT ONLY ATTACKS WHEN HUNGRY OR WHEN SOMETHING TRESSPASSES ON ITS TERRITORY.
"Guess i wandered too close to this guys home, maybe that cocoon was his?"
Kiryu made his way to the still spasming Kumonga and readied his Seda-pion tail, it would be easier if Kiryu were to just knock it unconscious and be done with it.
Injecting the sedative right into Kumongas belly, the spider slowly fell asleep, its limbs still slightly twitching with electricity.
"Glad thats over and done with, hopefully it doesn't remember anything when it wakes up or else I'm in trouble."
Kiryu dragged Kumonga next to the cocoon where the natural radiation would hopefully heal the wounds he dealt to it. With that sorted, Kiryu looked back at the Meteor off in the distance and sighed, Instinctively checking his power meter.
"Wait...Full Power?! How? T-That makes no sense! How-"
"PHOTON WAVE FULLY CHARGED."
"OH FUCK OFF!" Kiryu yelled angrily.
Now that he was looking closely, all of his energy based weaponry was fully charged as well. What on earth was happening?
Kiryu looked back to the meteor, that had to be the answer, there was no way it wasn't. But just what exactly was it? It definitely wasn't there when he left last time, was it some sort of kaiju or something else entirely?
The more Kiryu thought of the meteor the more it made his head hurt.
*Just...go check it out, if there are other Titans there just stay hidden.*
Finally able to use his thrusters without worry, Kiryu launched himself into the air and propelled himself towards the strange meteors light, perhaps he'd find answers there...
