My Ayato – Extended edition.
He had always felt numb, hollow and incomplete.
Nothing.
Ayato Aishi was eighteen years of age and he had felt nothing in his entire life. Life was just a gigantic void to him, no happiness or pleasure could be found for him. His mother, Ryoba, had admitted her shock upon finding out that he was a boy.
"In our family, girls have always been more prominent that boys. I'm not entirely sure why but that is just the way it is. With that being said, I have never been happier than the day you were born, my little YatYat. My special boy" While he couldn't understand the happiness of his mother, he did feel at ease around her. His father, Jochiki, was always a bit of an enigma to him.
He tried everything to make Ayato crack a smile. It was, in a sense, thanks to his father that Ayato learned to mimic emotions. When Ayato started to act like a normal child, his father was overjoyed. He soon learnt that this worked with other children, though he knew how to fight back when they tried to pick on him.
His whole world had been this way, as if there were a permanent storm cloud above his head. Black and white shifted and changes to shades of grey all around him. He had only gotten into Akademi because his mother wished it so, he worked to make her proud of him. He got in with only one mark off a perfect score on the admissions test, which the person grading his people was significantly shocked by.
"Your son is destined to be a genius, I'm sure of it!" She had rambled down the phone to an ecstatic Ryoba and Jochiki. "We'll even give him a scholarship if that what he needs!" Ayato was met with a showering of gifts and treats from both his parents, which he had to admit felt good.
Akademi was tough but he quickly made a name for being one of the smartest students in the school. His first year was pretty uneventful but things really kicked off on the first day of the second year. He had been hanging out by the fountain, the whistling of the wind as it carried the sakura blossoms around him was pleasant to him.
He had gone to grab a drink when he suddenly bumped into another student, sending him straight to the ground. Ayato was considerably tall for his age, so he knelt down to grab the books that had spilled over the floor. That was when his eyes met with Taro Yamada.
The black, white and grey world around him suddenly dissolved into an array of vivid colours. Warmth and light overwhelmed the young man as he helped the small boy to his feet. Judging by the three stars on his moonless black uniform, this young man was a third year. Taro looked into Ayato's eyes curiously.
Taro Yamada was plain, with bushy black hair and jet black eyes that sparkled in the light but he was the most gorgeous thing that Ayato had ever set eyes on. Taro bowed and apologised before walked onto class. Ayato spent the rest of the day bamboozled and distracted.
When he had arrived home that night, he was in such a high mood that he chirped away to his mother and father about the young man he had met. Ryoba and Jochiki looked at each other.
"That's great news darling!" Ryoba voiced "Why don't you tell us about him while we have our dinner?" She offered Ayato a plate of miso salmon with Jasmine rice. Ayato devoured it, he couldn't remember the last time food ever tasted that good. Jochiki was conflicted, he couldn't understand why two people of the same gender would want to get together in the that a man and woman would but…
'If this boy is what helped him be normal, then I'll support them' He swore to himself. Ryoba held no such misgivings about the gay and lesbian community, She believed that loved came in different forms and that people shouldn't interfere with said love.
Ayato noted something worrying very quickly. That something was a hot headed girl called Osana Najimi. She was loud, rude at times and, frankly, irritating. She was also the childhood friend of his Taro. He watched as Taro sometimes flinched when she spoke to him in her aggressive tone, he sometimes had to take deep breaths to not break her neck. Killing someone in front of Taro would be a bad idea.
The bento, so lovingly wrapped up, was easy pickings. Someone called 'Info-chan' had attempted to make contact with him, but he promptly destroyed his phone and bought a new one. He would be the only one in on his plan. He brushed his low-fade side parting to make it more presentable, before using some snap bangs to draw out Hana and Kashiko from the classroom to put some rat poison into both bentos. Better to mess with both of the bentos to draw away any suspicion of it being tampered with.
Taro had reacted badly, throwing up on Osana before fleeing to the toilet. He ran after Taro, feigning concern. "Are you alright?"
Taro had just stopped vomiting. "I was fed a bento by Osana and… I don't know what she put in it." He coughed in a way that worried Ayato. "I'll take you to the infirmary. Come on" He slung Taro's arm over his shoulder to help him stand.
"I know you. We bumped into each other a few days ago." Taro pointed out.
"That's right. I'm Ayato Aishi" Taro nodded weakly. "I'm Taro Yamada, we could have met in a better situation though" he mumbled to Ayato's amusement. He opened the door to the infirmary to face the horrified school nurse.
"What happened? Is he alright?" She ran over before helping Ayato get Taro to lie down. "I found him vomiting in the school toilets, I think he ate something bad in the bento he was given by Osana Najimi" Ayato made sure to slide the girl's name in there.
The nurse nodded.
"I guess I will have to speak to her then. Thank you for making me aware of this Aishi" Ayato stayed with Taro for the rest of the lunch break. They spent the time chattering away like they had known each other for years, he told of his sister Hanako who was seriously clingy and of his family. Ayato in turn explained that he was an only child and about his family.
When lunch had ended, Taro had fallen sound asleep. Ayato lovingly pulled the blanket over him before leaving for class.
Osana was just outside of the office, looking pretty green. Raibaru was just behind her. Ayato caught the tail end of their conversation "...chicken leftovers was not a good idea Osana. I did make you aware of this."
Osana was called into the infirmary, where the nurse was stood with the guidance counsellor.
"What is this that I'm hearing about regarding a bento?" Genka asked. Raibaru passed the bento over to the nurse, who examined it. She pulled out a piece of chicken that appeared to be changing in colour. A small green hue on the bottom shocked Osana. "I had no idea!" She pleaded but Genka shook her head, unforgiving and strict to no end.
"I can excuse a small mistake, like the chicken being slightly undercooked but it is your responsibility to check if the meat is in date or not. You fed this to another person as well! I cannot believe the lack of care that you took in preparing this!"
It was exactly as Ayato predicted. He had only hid a piece of the rat poison in one of the onigiris each. He noticed then that the chicken was clearly not fit of consumption and realised that it was be the perfect cover. "I'm shocked that Yamada isn't more ill than he has been" The nurse admitted, Genka turned back to Osana with a stormy look on her face.
"Go home, and do not return until Thursday. I will be contacting your parents about this." She stormed out the infirmary before locked eyes with Ayato. "Aishi. I'm told that it was you who brought Yamada to the infirmary"
"Yes Sensei" He nodded. Genka's eyes softened "I'm glad that he has a better friend who can look after him" She murmured before going back into her office. He smiled.
At the end of the day, He had written a small but sweet poem that he placed into Taro's bag.
Sweet little petals, falling from the sky,
One young man, sat watching them fly.
Book in his hand, fleeting but wise.
Stars in his eyes, tears likewise.
A gentle soul, goodly in spirit.
With an inquisitive mind, curiosity infinite.
Taro had read the poem intently. He blushed slightly before placing the paper into the book he was reading. Ayato grinned as he watched Taro make his way home, before returning to his own. He had decided to save the bento that Osana had given Taro, he cleaned it out and bleached it. Then, he took it up to his room where he noted a wooden structure painted in red and gold. A hand written note was leant against it.
"I saw you bringing something home which wasn't yours. I used this when I was your age, now its yours – Your loving mother"
He opened it, noting the room for different items. He placed the bento inside and closed the doors gently. He giggled to himself, imagining the life that they would have together. His heart beat with an intensity that he had never felt in his life, he could feel his insides pulsing with each beat as the heat ran down to below his belt.
He wanted that cute little ass of Taro's now. Really badly. He used his hand but he knew the novelty of jerking off would run out pretty quickly. All he could do for now was picture his naked beloved riding him like there was no tomorrow.
Taro rejected Osana's confession based on what had happened with the bento. Ayato was giddy with a sadistic glee upon finding out, He noticed an interesting development too. Amai Odayaka had returned to do a bake sale and was clearly interested in Taro but he paid it no mind. He was too busy staring at three different people: Shin Higaku, Iruka Dorufino and Ayato himself.
'So he does swing more towards me' Ayato thought to himself 'That removes all female threats entirely' He laughed. He looked as Taro glanced and him. Ayato ruffled his hair purposely as Taro visibly squirmed.
This was going to be fun indeed...
