The camera turned on and started showing a feedback from the end of the wooden docks, which were shown in the foreground, and right next to a body of water. On the left side of the background were located cliffs and several smaller hills covered with pine tree forests, while on the right side of the background we could see a grassy shore with few trees also present in that area.

Suddenly a handsome man, in his late twenties, popped onto the camera from below. He was wearing a navy, short-sleeved shirt with a white T-shirt underneath it, as well as light-ish brown jeans and white-and-blue sneakers. He was also wearing a necklace with some sort of sack. He had neatly-styled black hair that reached the back of his neck and had black eyes.

-Yo!- The man greeted the audience.- We're comin' at you live from Camp Wawanakwa, somewhere in Muskoka, Ontario!- The man exclaimed with a big amount of enthusiasm while throwing his hands into the air.

-I'm your host, Chris McLean!- Chris introduced himself proudly and placed his hand on his chest.- Here, dropping season one of the hottest new reality show on television, right now!- Chris announced happily.

The camera then switched to the view of Chris walking slowly, down the dock.

-Here's the deal: twenty-two campers have signed to spend eight weeks right here at this crummy old summer camp.- Chris continued explaining and stopped right next to the big, green sign with the camp's name on it, spelled using big, red letters.- They'll compete in challenges against each other, then have to face the judgment of their fellow campers.- Chris added and after that the camera moved closer to Chris' face.

-Every three days, one team will either win a reward, or watch one of their team members walk down the "Dock of Shame".- Chris explained further as the camera backed away to its former position while Chris gestured towards the dock.- Then take a ride on the "Loser Boat".- Chris added as the signboard with a picture of the boat was lowered onto the shot of the camera from above.- And leave Total Drama Island for good.- Chris said as he mimicked a golf swing while the signboard with the boat picture got quickly raised back.

The camera then changed and showed the campfire surrounded by large rocks. The fire pit was located in the middle with twelve stumps, probably substitutes for normal chairs, were gathered on the left side of the fire pit while on the right side stood an upright oil drum with a tall wooden entrance next to it.

-Their fate will be decided here!- Chris announced, popping suddenly onto the view from below the screen, pointing at the campfire area.- At the dramatic Campfire Ceremonies where each week, all but one camper will receive...a marshmallow.- Chris said as he approached the campfire, specifically an oil drum. The camera then zoomed on the oil drum and revealed three sticks with marshmallows on them, lying on the top of the metal drum. Chris then picked one up and ate the marshmallow, followed by throwing the stick behind him.

-In the end, only one will be left standing and will be rewarded with cheesy tabloid fame.- Chris explained and showcased several magazines, all with his face on the cover, to the camera.- And! A small fortune which, let's face it, they'll probably blow in a week!- Chris added while dropping the magazines and picking up a treasure chest filled with cold coins, three rubies, a crown and a silver trophy.

-To survive, they'll have to battle black flies!- Chris announced while the camera showed a swarm of the said insects being swiped at by some claws.- Grizzly bears!- Chris added while the camera moved away and revealed that those claws were belonging, in fact, to a grizzly bear that started roaring at the camera.- Disgusting camp food!- Chris continued listing down while the camera now showed the bowl with some sort of an insect larvae in it.

-Hey now.- The larvae said with a Spanish accent.

-And each other.- Chris said with a smile as the camera showed him once again at the end of the docks.

The camera then changed to the shot of a bird feeding its hatchlings with an obvious camera, that was pointing at the bird, in the moment when a worm emerged from its beak.

-Every moment will be caught on one of the hundreds cameras situated all over the camp!- Chris announced while the camera showed a totem pole with another camera attached to it with a duct tape before returning to the docks and to Chris.

-Who will crumble under the pressure? Find out here, right now, on Total! Drama! Island!

OPENING INTRO

The camera then returned to the docks, where Chris was already waiting for the first contestants to arrive.

-Welcome back to Total Drama Island!- Chris announced happily to the camera as it focused more on his face.- Alright, it's time for us to meet our first eleven campers. We told them they'd be staying at this five-star resort so if they seem a little TO'd, that's probably why.- Chris quickly explained to the camera with a smirk on his face.

A boat was then shown at the end of the docks, before quickly leaving and revealing the first camper, who was already standing on the docks with their suitcases.

That camper was a short, kinda pudgy, white girl with brown hair styled in a side ponytail, thick glasses on her nose and braces. She was wearing a forest green oversized T-shirt with the left bottom tied around her waist, a lime waistcoat with a few 'happy smile' pins, pink pants and white athletic boots.

-Beth, what's up?- Chris asked the small girl, revealing her name to the audience in the process, while she ran towards Chris and hugged him with a smile on her face.

-It's so incredulous to meet you!- Beth exclaimed as she hugged the host, dropping after a second, leaving the host to brush off his shirt.- Wow! You're much shorter in real life.- Beth commented and then started waving to the camera.

-Uh….thanks…- Chris replied, sounding a little put off by her.

Seconds later, another boat arrived at the dock, leaving behind a scrawny, small boy with dark skin, round glasses and short black hair. He was wearing a red hoodie, orange shorts, long, white socks and orange-white sneakers.

-Wow! Real wooden dock!- The boy exclaimed before taking a deep breath.- Real air!- He exclaimed once more with an even bigger excitement and started walking forward, pulling his suitcase behind him. Suddenly he tripped on the dock and fell on his face.- Ugh…..and real pain….- The boy mumbled in pain as he tried to stand up from his fall.

-Cameron! Great to have you here!- Chris yelled happily as he revealed the boy's name.

-Thanks, Mr. McLean.- Cameron replied as he approached the host, still looking a little bruised over his fall.- Um…wasn't there supposed to be, like, a real exclusive five-star resort here?- Cameron questioned the host after a second.

-Yo, dawg, this is it! Camp Wawanakwa!- Chris announced with a grin on his face.

-But this isn't what was shown on the application form.- Cameron argued back, although he sounded more meek than he was actually angry.

The camera then moved over to the end of the dock where the next girl was already retrieving her suitcases from the boat. She had slightly bushy, shoulder-length, black hair with bangs falling onto her forehead. She was also wearing red feather earrings, a purple pearl necklace, a yellow-and-purple top, black leggings and purple athletic shoes.

-Hey Sky!- Chris greeted her as she took her suitcases and approached the host.

-Hi Chris, it's a pleasure to finally meet you.- Sky replied as she shook hands with the host but soon her smile faded and a frown entered her face.- Um…not to be rude or anything, but where is the resort? In the application form it was said that it had that really modern gymnastics center that I really wanted to try out.- Sky explained to the host.

-There is one…in my crib with an airstream with A.C. that-a-way!- Chris grinned as he pointed behind him.

-Ugh…just perfect.- Sky replied sarcastically as she figured out that this probably meant that she wouldn't get to try it out.

-Don't worry, I'm sure that maybe one of our other camp's attractions may catch your eye.- Chris commented with a grin as Sky looked over at the camp and the sorry state it's in.

-Is it too late to back away now?- Sky asked, sounding a little disappointed by the state of things.

-I mean..if you can swim your way back to the mainland then yes. Seeming as your transport just left.- Chris said as the camera showed the boat that just left the dock.

-Uh, I guess that means no.- Sky sighed in defeat and joined the other two at the end of the dock.

The camera then showed the fourth camper as they were seen dancing to the music that was played on their boat. He was a muscular man with a cowboy hat, covering his blond hair, gold necklace around his neck, pink, unbuttoned shirt that revealed a six-pack, blue denim shorts and matching blue flip flops. As soon as the boat stopped before the dock, the boy jumped off of it and landed flawlessly on the dock as someone from the boat threw the boy's suitcase after him. The boy gave that unshown person thumbs-up before turning towards the host.

-Chris McLean! Sup, man! It's an honor to meet you, man!- The new guy greeted the host enthusiastically and fist-bumped with him.

-The Geoff-ster! Welcome to the island, man!- Chris greeted the boy.

-Thanks, man!- Geoff replied before he high-fived the host and went over to join other campers.

-I don't understand.- Cameron spoke up then.- Why are they saying 'man' so much? Is this supposed to be some kind of slang or a code?- Cameron asked the girls who were standing next to him.

-Yeah, I'm also confused.- Beth replied.

-Oh, it's just the way that boys usually greet each other, no big deal.- Sky replied with a smile.

-Oh, okay.- Cameron smiled at her, thankful for the explanation.

-Everybody, this is Lindsay!- Chris said as he gained back their attention, and gestured towards the end of the dock, where the sounds of a boat arriving had just been heard.

The camera then, accompanied by a lovely soundtrack, started revealing Lindsay's appearance, starting with her brown, leather high heel boots, moving to her skinny legs, orange skirt, red-and-maroon top, straight blonde hair, and a blue headband. Finally showcasing her whole beauty in one shot.

-Not too shabby.- Chris commented to the camera, covering his mouth so no one would hear him.

-Hiii!- Lindsay greeted everyone with her high-pitched voice.

-Okay, you look so familiar.- Lindsay said as she approached Chris, pulling her pink suitcase behind her.

-I'm Chris McLean.- Chris reminded the girl, who just continued to look at him with a puzzled look on her face and with a finger on her chin.

-The host of the show!- Chris added after a second of awkward silence while Lindsay just continued staring at him before finally realizing something.

-Oh, that's where I know you from!- She finally exclaimed.

-Uh, yeah.- Chris replied, sounding a little bit confused.

After that scene ended, a sound of a boat leaving could be heard in the background as the camera focused on a girl, of an asian descent, stepping onto the docks. She had waist length, black hair and was wearing short, olive shorts and a red crop top. She was also wearing sunglasses, in which we could now see the reflection of the nervous faces of Beth and Cameron, as well as the indifferent faces of Geoff, Lindsay and Sky. She then took off her glasses and started eyeing out the docks before stomping off to the other side of the docks, passing Chris in the process.

-Heather!- Chris introduced the girl who just ignored him.

The camera then showed Beth running towards Heather and stopping before her.

-Hi!- Beth greeted her loudly and waved to her.- Looks like we're your new friends for the next eight weeks!- Beth started yelling loudly which caused her to spit quite a lot, which immediately caused Heather to turn away in disgust.

Suddenly a heavy-metal music could be heard in the distance, making everyone turn their gazes towards the next boat, where with one foot on the speaker, stood a boy. He had black hair with a green mohawk, blue eyes, various piercings on his ears, nose and left eyebrow. He was wearing a black T-shirt with a skull on it, dark navy shorts and red sneakers as well as spiked dog collar on his neck.

As soon as the boat arrived, he threw a green duffle bag onto the docks and jumped down onto them as well.

-Duncan, dude!- Chris greeted the next boy.

-I don't like...surprises.- The delinquent said threateningly as he raised his fist.

-Yeah, your parole officer warned me about that, man! He also told me to give him a holler anytime and have you sent back to juvie.- Chris announced bluntly and crossed his arms.

-Alright then.- Duncan said after he sniffed and went to the other side of the docks, passing Heather in the process.- Meet you by the campfire pit, gorgeous.- He said to the queen bee with a flirty smile on his face.

-Drop dead you skeeze!- Heather replied back to him and then started walking further down the docks.- I am calling my parents! You cannot make me stay here!- Heather announced loudly while Chris pulled out the contract he suspiciously had with him this whole time.

After that they were interrupted this time by the sounds of the boat horn. The camera then focused on the boat as it was approaching the docks and revealed that the horn sounds weren't actually made by the boat, but by the boy that was standing on said boat, as he continued mimicking similar sounds. He was a dark-skinned boy, with a big, black, bushy afro hair, and similarly bushy and long goatee. He was wearing a gray T-shirt with a small stain on it, suspenders, dark blue jeans and black shoes.

-Wicked sound effects, Beardo!- Chris yelled as loudly as he could to the boy so he could hear him. Beardo did indeed hear him as he replied to him by making a victory fanfare sound.

The boat then reached the boat and Beardo entered the dock.

-Wow, man! That was so cool!- Geoff complimented the Human Soundboard as he went to fist-bump him and Beardo made an explosion sound effect as soon as their fists bumped together.

-But how is this even possible? The vocal cords shouldn't be able to make sounds this complicated.- Cameron pointed out after a second as he grabbed his glasses.

-Maybe he practiced a lot at home.- Beth speculated.

-It could be the case.- Sky agreed with her.- After all, practice makes perfect as I'm used to say.- Sky added after a second with a smile.

Beardo only replied to them by giving them a thumb-up and making a sound effect of a badly played violin that slowly turned into a quite well-played violin, as if to represent the process of his learning.

-Nice.- Chris commented when suddenly sounds of someone playing on a Gameguy could be heard from behind him, as the boat left behind another contestant.

Chris then turned around and noticed another boy, this time with brown, curly hair, small round glasses, stubble on his chin and wearing a yellow, long-sleeved T-shirt with an orange collar, and three stripes on his chest: two orange ones, and one gold one. He was also wearing short jeans and orange sneakers and was currently hunched over his Gameguy as he was fully committed to playing his video game.

-Oh, yeah! A boost to the character's speed! Nice!- The boy cheered happily and continued his game.

-Welcome to camp, Sam.- Chris greeted the Gamer with open arms.

-Oh, yeah, hi Mr. McLean.- Sam replied, not losing his focus from his game before Chris snagged it away from him.- Hey! Not cool! I didn't finish the level!- Sam yelled, visibly annoyed by Chris taking his game away.

-Finders Keepers! No electronics are allowed on the island! Something you would know if you read the contract more thoroughly.- Chris replied and then threw Sam's Gameguy behind him.

-Nooo!- Sam yelled and started chasing after his flying console.

A big splash could be heard after a few seconds and the camera showed that Sam had jumped into the water at the end of the docks, after his console, which was now laying broken from the water in his hands. At the same time, Heather, who was also standing at the end of the docks, was shown being completely soaked from water, caused by Sam's splash.

-Ugh! My shoes!- Heather complained, dripping with water.- You're so dead to me, you nerd!- Heather yelled angrily at Sam.

-He he…oops.- Sam laughed nervously at his predicament.

Chris then was shown grimacing from the scene that just unfolded before the sounds of another boat could be heard, causing him to turn around.

-Contestant number ten is…Topher!- Chris introduced the next contestant, who looked like his exact copy, only with lighter, pushed back hair and more younger than Chris. He was even wearing nearly exact clothes as the host.

-No way! Chris McLean! It's an honor! I'm your biggest fan!- Topher exclaimed and then started squealing as he approached the host.

-I'm always happy to meet my fans.- Chris replied with a smirk.

-I've always admired you, Chris. And let me just say this, your performance on "Figure Skating with the Stars" was truly admirable. One of my favorite appearances of you on live TV!- Topher exclaimed, sounding truly excited from meeting his idol.

-Hey, thanks, man! I always knew that I rocked that show!- Chris thanked as he fist-bumped his Wannabe.

-I saw that!- Beth commented as the focus drifted towards her and other contestants.- One of the guys dropped his partner on her head. So they got immunity that week.- Beth told her story while everyone listened to her.

-Wow, really? I can't believe how bad other pairs had to be for them to win then.- Sky replied, sounding puzzled by the whole situation.

-Pretty bad, I guess.- Geoff replied.

-Oh, oh! I think I got dropped on my head as a baby!- Lindsay suddenly announced out of nowhere.- At least that's what my mom always says.- She added while Beardo made a sound effect of someone falling on the ground.

The focus then returned to Chris and Topher, as the latter looked at the camp's direction.

-Wow, so this is actually a camp instead of a resort. Wow, classic Chris I must say.- Topher commented.

-What can I say, I always had this knack for deception.- Chris commented with a smirk on his face.- Anyway, join the others, we need to make room for our next contestant.

-Oh, yeah, right, of course!- Topher exclaimed before joining others at the end of the docks. He stopped next to an angry Heather, who was currently wiping her hair with a towel she took from her suitcase.

-What do you want, loser?- Heather glared at him with an annoyed look.

-Oh, nothing, nothing….for now.- Topher muttered under his breath with a smirk on his face.

The camera then showed another boat approaching the island, this time carrying a girl with long, ginger hair that was tied in a bun, round glasses, and wearing a yellow turtleneck with a collar, dark blue skirt, long, white socks, and flat boots.

The boat then stopped at the dock, giving the girl a moment to get her bags and joining Chris and the others at the docks.

-Greetings everyone.- The girl greeted everyone as she approached the host.

-Alright, everyone, meet our nerd girl, ten-times winner of an annual South Dakota's science fair, Scarlett!- Chris introduced the Quiet Brainiac enthusiastically.

-Thank you for that very appealing introduction, Mr. McLean.- Scarlett replied before stopping for a second and grasping her glasses.- Am I correct in assuming that the photos of this very island that could be found by us in the application forms were deliberately misleading in order to provide you with more people who were willing to join the show out of their own, uncontaminated wills?

-You know it!- Chris replied happily.

-That's what I thought, and as always, I was correct.- Scarlett added before walking away from the host to join the others.

-Pft…another nerd…great.- Duncan scoffed as he folded his arms.

-Excuse me, but any negative comment about my intellect, especially one made by the likes of you, will not provoke me to talk back. I do not have time to care about people like you anyway.- Scarlett replied with a stern face as she walked past surprised Duncan.

-Wha~?!- Duncan said, not believing that she just said that.- You think you're better than me, nerd!- Duncan yelled at her.

-It's not about feeling better than you, it's more about how your views are obviously not broad-minded. Especially when talking about people who are smarter than you. It may be a cause of an inferiority complex, or perhaps a cause of a childish rebellion or maybe bad childhood. Nevertheless, you shouldn't underestimate me or other 'nerds' as you put it. It could be the cause of your eventual downfall.- Scarlett gave her whole reasoning, causing Duncan to stare wide-eyed at her, not knowing how to reply to her.

-Wow, you really talked him down.- Sam commented, having already come out of the water, although still looking pretty soaked.

-Yeah, it was really impressive! Oh, I'm Cameron by the way.- Cameron introduced himself to the girl.

-It was really nothing.- Scarlett replied.- He said something I know is wrong so I corrected him. It's not a big deal.- Scarlett explained.

-But it was inspiring.- Cameron exclaimed.- I wish I knew how to talk back to someone like that!

-Again, I was not talking back or arguing, I was simply proving my point.- Scarlett explained once more.

-Oh, you don't have to be so modest, man.- Geoff said.- You gotta be at least somehow elated by what you've done.

-I don't know if it's your way of communicating or a simple missentance but I'm not a 'man', but a 'female'.- Scarlett replied, not losing her strict scientific way of speaking while Geoff chuckled a little.

-You're quite funny.- Geoff replied while Beardo, who was still standing next to him, made the noise of people laughing and clapping.

-That was….interesting.- Scarlett commented on Beardo's talent.

-Okay, before you go into another rant about your scientific discoveries can't we just go back to the show, please?- Heather asked while she finished wiping her hair.

-It seems like someone missed their double cappuccino macchiato this morning.- Duncan, who came back to his senses, commented sarcastically while Sam and Beth nodded while chuckling.

-Get bent!- Heather replied.

After that exchange, the next boat arrived and immediately left, leaving a boy behind. He had tanned skin, wore a white T-shirt, underneath a blue shirt with a collar and a maroon sleeveless sweater. He was also wearing green jeans and athletic boots and was holding his suitcase.

-Our next camper is Noah!- Chris introduced the boy.

-You got my memo about my life-threatening allergies?- Noah asked the host as he passed him.

-I'm sure someone did.- Chris replied cheerfully.

-Good. Is this where we're staying?- Noah asked and pointed towards the camp.

-No, it's your mother's house, and we're throwing a party.- Duncan teased the other boy and he cracked the knuckles in his hands.

-Cute, nice piercings, original, do them yourself?- Noah asked sarcastically before his lower lip got grabbed by Duncan, who also pulled out a needle.

-Yeah, you want one?- Duncan asked him with a smirk on his face.

-Uh, no, thanks. Can I have my lip back, please?- Noah asked the delinquent and after Duncan let go of his lip he replied.- Thanks.

The camera then changed its focus to another boat, where a girl was currently being photographed by various journalists and paparazzi. She had long, blonde hair, and was wearing a small necklace, light pink sleeveless T-shirt, bright pink pants and light pink flat shoes. She was also wearing orange sunglasses.

-He he. Hi everyone! Dakota's here!- Dakota giggled as she waved to everyone, not really minding the paparazzi taking photos of her.

-Wow…- Sam gasped as he noticed Dakota, a small blush appearing on his face.

The camera then showed Dakota stepping onto the docks and continuing posing for the paparazzi, clearly enjoying it, before the boat drove away, taking all the paparazzi away with it.

-Um…rude! I was in the middle of something.- Dakota complained as she turned towards Chris.

-Sorry, no outside people allowed!- Chris announced.

-Whatevs, I'll just call them and they'll come back.- Dakota said as she pulled out her phone before it was confiscated by Chris.- Hey! That's mine!

-Can't believe I have to say it again, but no electronics allowed. It's in the contract.- Chris replied.

-But that's, so, not fair! How am I supposed to live without my phone and without my paparazzi?!- Dakota questioned, visibly annoyed by the predicament at hand.

-Guess you'll have to just wait and find out.- Chris commented with a smirk on his face.

-Ugh…this is so not cool!- Dakota grumbled and went away from Chris.

-Um, hi! My name is Sam. It's nice to meet you, Dakota.- Sam, who was still soaked from water, introduced himself to the Fame-Monger.

-Ewww…you look so sweaty. That's so gross.- Dakota exclaimed, visibly disgusted by him.

-What? Oh, wait, no! That's not sweat! It's only water! I kind of jumped into it to retrieve my Gameguy.- Sam explained quickly.

-Oh, that's okay then…I guess.- Dakota commented and went past the Gamer Guy.

-Ooh! That's just in! A gamer guy rejected by a hot girl! How will this situation affect their future relationship?- Topher commented on the situation that just unfolded but stopped immediately after he heard Chris' cough.

-Um, Topher, I'm the host here. Which means, I'm commenting on this kind of things.- Chris said to his Wannabe.

-Oh, I'm so sorry Chris. I just got really excited here.- Topher replied to his biggest idol.

The camera then moved to the front of the dock and showed a boat leaving behind two, identical-looking girls and their bags. They both had shoulder-length, straight, blonde hair and were wearing red cheerleader uniforms consisting of a top and a miniskirt. Both of them were also wearing white, heeled knee boots. The only difference between the two girls was the fact that one of them had a beauty spot on her right cheek, while the second one, who was holding their suitcases, didn't have one.

-Ladies! Amy, Samey, welcome to your new home for eight weeks.- Chris greeted the twins while the camera showed the view of an entire camp.

-Ew! You mean to say that this isn't a five-star resort?!- Amy questioned Chris, with a visible disgust both on her face and in her voice.

-Yep.- Chris replied.

-Umm…Chris…I think you pronounced my name wrong.- Samey spoke up suddenly and raised her finger.- It's actually pronounced 'Sammy'.

-Yeah, but Amy told us that everyone calls you 'Samey'.- Chris explained.

-Well, yeah, but…- Samey started talking but got interrupted by Chris.

-You know, with you being the second twin. 'Lesser Amy' if you want.- Chris joked.

-But my actual name is…- Samey tried to finally say what she wanted to Chris just to get interrupted again.

-YOU'RE OFFICIALLY SAMEY!- Chris yelled, now sounding quite annoyed.

-Great, Samey! Look what you've done! You're already embarrassing us in front of everyone!- Amy complained to her sister.- Just shut up already and take our suitcases to the end of this dock!- Amy ordered Samey, who just sighed in defeat and complied.

The next boat then drove by, leaving a scruffy white boy who looked to be dressed for colder weather, between his navy jeans, green hoodie sweatshirt, and navy toque as well as dark green boots. He had brown hair that reached his neck and gray-colored eyes.

-Ezekiel! What's up, man?!- Chris greeted the boy at the show.

-I think I see a bird!- Ezekiel replied while pointing to the air.

-Is he, like, for real?- Sky questioned with a raised eyebrow.

-Okay, look dude.- Chris started while putting his hand on Zeke's shoulder and leaning towards him.- I know you don't get out much. Been homeschooled your whole life, raised by freaky prairie people. Just don't say much and try not to get kicked off too early, okay?- Chris explained to the boy.

-Yes sir!- Ezekiel replied and went to the other.

-That's just...wow!- Amy commented with disbelief in her voice.

Just when she said that, another boat arrived and quickly left, leaving behind a shorter boy with brown, messy hair, covered by a green beanie, who was wearing a white turtleneck, an orange vest, blue jeans and sneakers. He also had a small stubble on his chin.

-And here we have another big brain of this group, Shawn!- Chris introduced the boy while Shawn's eyes widened and he covered his head in fear.

-BRAIN?! WHOSE BRAIN?! NO ONE IS GETTING MY BRAIN!- Shawn yelled, clearly scared by whatever Chris said, and ran towards the end of the dock.

-Whoa, chill out, man.- Geoff said as Shawn nearly bumped into him.

-Yeah, that was only an expression. Meaning that you're one of the more intelligent people in this group. Although based on your reaction to something as not frightening as what our host said is proving me otherwise at the moment.- Scarlett commented as she grasped her glasses.

-Oh, sorry, guys.- Shawn apologized.- But you always have to keep your ears and eyes wide open in case any zombie may attack you!

-Um…he knows that zombies aren't real, right?- Cameron asked, while Sky just shrugged, not sure of the answer.

Shortly after, they were interrupted by another boy who stepped out of a boat, and everyone turned their attention towards him. He had black skin and was wearing some sort of green robe that was covering his whole body. He also wore a fake, gray beard and was carrying around a stick in his hand.

-Leonard. Nice! Glad you could make it.- Chris said and started chuckling quietly.

-I overheard that you are having problems with the horde of zombies. Luckily for you, I know many useful spells to get rid of them.- Leonard explained happily to the other contestants.- Like this one for example. Depulso!- Leonard 'casted' his spell with his stick, which weirded out most of the others.

-Um, what?- Sky asked, not understanding him.

-Ugh…it's not some game in which we need a one-dimensional character, so you can stop with this charade, Potter.- Noah commented sarcastically and rolled his eyes at Leonard's behavior.

-Yeah….it, kinda, makes you sound…crazy.- Samey commented meekly.

-Crazy?! But I'm not crazy! Magic is real, you know!- Leonard exclaimed, slightly mad that no one believes in his magic.

Beardo then replied to the whole situation by making the 'crazy' sound effect and rolling his finger around, next to his head, as if to comment about Leonard's craziness, while Beth and Geoff chuckled at his sound effects.

The camera then focused on Chris who just observed the entire situation when suddenly the sounds of the boat arriving could be heard from behind.

-Um, pardon me.- A girl's voice could be heard from behind Chris, who immediately turned towards the new person that just arrived.

The camera then revealed a girl with a fair complexion, neatly styled, medium-length, black hair with a pink bowtie on top of her head. She was wearing a pink dress that was reaching her knees, pink ballet shoes, and pink, shiny gloves.

-Ella, welcome!- Chris greeted Ella with a smile.

-Oh, thank you. It is such a pleasure to meet you as well as to be here with all of you.- Ella replied with a smile on her face.

-It's good to see someone be this happy.- Chris commented.

-Just happy? I am over the moon. And anyway, there is nothing you cannot make even sweeter and happier with a song. Aaaah! Aaaah!- Ella explained and she started singing and dancing towards other contestants, eventually dancing past Beardo.

-Cha! Chikuchiku! Song!- Beardo beatboxed while Amy, who was near him, got weirded out by him.

-Ugh! A weirdo! Swap places with me, Samey.- Amy ordered her sister as she changed places with her and started backing away slowly, before bumping into someone tall.

The camera then zoomed back and revealed that Amy had just bumped into a quite tall, black-skinned girl with black hair, styled in a ponytail. She was wearing a white T-shirt that revealed her belly button, as well as a vest on top of it. She was also wearing shorts, combat boots and an adventurer's hat.

Amy then turned around and as soon as she saw the other girl, she screamed.

-AH! A GIANT!- Amy screamed in fear.- Samey! Take me away from her!

-Are the two of us gonna 'ave problems?- The taller girl replied with a thick Australian accent.

-Everyone, meet Jasmine.- Chris introduced the tall girl.

-Wow, you're really tall.- Beth commented with disbelief.

-Um…It's really nothing special.- Jasmine replied.

-It isn't special? I wish I could be this tall.- Beth replied after a second.- Anyway, I'm Beth. It's so nice to meet you.

-Well, right back at ya', Beth.- Jasmine replied and then shook hands with the smaller girl.

-Look everyone!- Ella suddenly spoke up.- Another person nearly arrived already.- She cheered happily as the camera showed the next boat.

This time, the boat carried a girl with big, curly, blonde hair, who was wearing a pink top, navy blue pants and pink platform shoes, and who was waving to everyone.

-Howdy y'all! You better quit now, cause Sugar just arrived!- Sugar yelled in her thick southern accent as she waved to everyone.

-This is Sugar, everyone!- Chris introduced the Pageant Queen as she arrived at the dock and approached him.- Welcome to Total Drama Island, Sugar.

-Yeah! I'm hella excited to be here, Chris.- Sugar replied with a smile on her face.

-Just so you'll know, we picked you only because we found the idea of you in a cow costume really entertaining.- Chris revealed honestly.

-Oh, yeah! I knew I rocked that commercial! Ma, Pa, look! I'm finally gonna be famous for real!- Sugar exclaimed to the camera and waved to it.

-Hi, Sugar!- Ella greeted the new arrival with a smile as she approached her.- My name is Ella, and I hope we're all gonna become the best of friends.

-Oh, I sure hope so too!- Sugar replied with a smile while Ella clapped happily and soon both of them went towards the others.

-Hey, everyone!- Chris interrupted them.- Meet Mike!- Chris announced as the camera showed a dark-skinned boy, standing on a boat that was driving towards the island. He was wearing a teal T-shirt, blue pants and a pair of athletic boots. While his black hair was sprayed to stand up.

-Umm….Hi everyone, it's n-nice to m-meet you all.- Mike waved to everyone with a smile on his face.

The boat then stopped before the dock and Mike started approaching its end so he could leave it, but unfortunately for him, he tripped, fell from the boat onto the dock, and hit his chin pretty hard on the dock and fell into the water afterwards.

-Ooh! That was bad.- Sugar commented as she started laughing at Mike's unfortunate.

-Guys, he could be seriously hurt.- Jasmine commented as she ran towards the end of the docks with Sky alongside her.

-Jasmine's right! What if something happened to him?- Sky added as she helped Jasmine pull Mike back onto the dock.

-Is everything alright?- Jasmine asked Mike, who now looked quite different. For now, he was slightly hunched back and his face looked as if he had wrinkles.

-Ugh…don't touch me you little whippersnappers!- He suddenly snapped at them, now sounding like an old man.- You youngins always find ways to complicate life! Like this dock! Back in my days, we didn't have docks! We simply drove our boat to the beach and stopped them there!- He complained as he continued yelling at the girls.

-Um…okay.- Sky said, quite weirded out by the boy, when suddenly Mike grabbed his head and looked like he was an internal battle in there before he returned to his senses, straightened up, and looked at both girls with an annoyed look on his face and his hair fell over his left eye, creating a bang.

-Forget what I just said.- 'Mike' said with a deeper voice.- You see, that was just an act. I aspire to be an actor in the future. I hope you liked my old man impression. He he…- 'Mike' chuckled evilly while the two girls stared at him in disbelief before joining his chuckling.

-Wow, I must say that this was really impressive.- Jasmine complimented the boy.- I almost believed that it was your actual personality.

-Me too. But I'm glad you're not really an old man, it would be troublesome.- Sky commented.

-Why? Are older people bothering you?- 'Mike' asked, sounding really angry for some reason.

-What?! No! Of course not! I only meant that it would be troublesome cause I believe that most challenges will be strength-based. And some of the more elderly do tend to be weaker. It's just statistics.- Sky explained.

-Sky's right. After all, with age, bones tend to shrink in size and density, weakening them and making them more susceptible to fracture, as well as making muscles lose their initial strength in the process.- Cameron explained.

-Oh, I'm sorry for my outburst then.- 'Mike' apologized and moved along with everyone.

-Well, it's great to see all of you making friends and all already. But first things first, we need a group photo for the promos!- Chris announced to the cast.

-Oh, yes! Finally!- Dakota exclaimed loudly, as she probably waited for something like this.

-Everyone, on the end of the dock!- Chris ordered while the camera showed everyone slowly approaching the end of the dock while Chris jumped onto the boat, with his own camera in hands.

The camera then showed the campers posing for the photo. They arranged themselves into three rows facing the camera. At the center of the group was Leonard, sending a wide smile to the camera. He was flanked on his right by a grinning Topher, confident Sky, and a smiling Beth holding onto Jasmine's arm. To Leonard's left, towards the water, were a posing Dakota, still soaked Sam, smiling Noah that was leaning on Geoff's shoulder and Beardo who had both his hands in the air.

The front row had Amy and Samey, leaning on each other's backs in the middle. To their right, on the inland side, were a kneeling Ella and Sugar as well as a smiling Lindsay. On their left was Ezekiel who sat at the dock, hugged his knees and was grinning happily at the camera.

The last six campers stood in the back row. Closest to the lake was Heather, standing there with her arms crossed and a smile all over her face. Next to the queen bee was a grinning 'Mike', followed by a smiling Cameron. Leaning forward with a hand on Leonard's shoulder was Scarlett, followed by Duncan who was raising his arm, showing a rock sign with his fingers and at the end, quite separated from other campers, stood Shawn, who probably didn't want to risk anyone turning into a zombie.

-Okay! One, two, three...Oops! Okay, forgot the lens cap!- Chris explained while the contestants looked at him with raised eyebrows.

-Okay, hold that pose!- Chris said as he clicked the button on the camera.- One, two...oh, wait! Card's full. Hang on!- Chris said this time with a smirk on his face.

-How hard it is to prepare a camera beforehand?!- Sugar questioned Chris.- Just take a goddamn photo already!

-Got it!- Chris finally said.- Okay, everyone says "Wawanakwa"!- Chris said as he prepared the camera.

-Wawanakwa!- Everyone started to say when suddenly the planks of the docks cracked and the entire end of the docks fell apart, sending everyone to water with screams while Chris took a few photos in the process, one of them showing Amy, Samey, Beth and Sam all gasping for air from the surface of the lake, Dakota holding both her hands above water so she could prevent her extra, hidden phones from getting wet and Noah and Geoff holding onto one of the planks.

-Okay guys! Dry off and meet me at the campfire pit in 10 minutes!- Chris ordered as the screen went black.

The camera then showed Chris standing behind the campfire pit while the camera slowly moved backwards and revealed all of the contestants either sitting on the stumps around the campfire or simply standing next to them. The people sitting from left to right at the top row were: Sugar, Ella, Topher, Lindsay, Sky and Scarlett. While at the bottom row, from left to right were sitting: Amy and Samey, Ezekiel, Dakota and Cameron. Behind the top row were standing: Geoff, Noah, Sam, Duncan, Jasmine, Shawn, 'Mike' and Beardo. While alongside the bottom row, were standing: Leonard, Beth and Heather

-This is Camp Wawanakwa.- Chris started explaining as the camera focused on him.- Your home for the next eight weeks. The campers sitting around you will be your cabinmates.- Chris said as the camera showed Amy and Samey simply glaring at each other, then Lindsay and Sky smiling happily at each other and finally Beth trying to peek over Dakota's shoulder to see what she was typing in her backup phone, while Dakota was simply too focused on her phone to even notice.

-Your competition.- Chris explained further as the camera focused on Cameron and Heather as the boy waved awkwardly to the girl with a smile on his face while the girl rolled her eyes in annoyance.

-And maybe even your friends, ya dig?- Chris asked while the camera showed Sam and Duncan as the Gamer Guy smiled casually to the Delinquent who in reply threatened him with his fist, causing him to back away.

-The camper who manages to stay on 'Total Drama Island' the longest, without getting voted off, will win one-hundred-thousand dollars!- Chris announced the winning prize with enthusiasm in his voice.

-Excuse me.- Duncan suddenly interrupted the host as he walked next to Heather.- What will the sleeping arrangements be? Cause I'd like to request a bunk under her.- Duncan claimed as she pointed at Heather, whose eyes widened at the request.

-They are not co-ed, are they?- Heather asked, sounding a little concerned.

-No.- Chris shook his head.- Girls get one side of each cabin and dudes get the other.- Chris explained.

-Excuse me, Kyle!- Lindsay interrupted as she raised her head.- Can I have a cabin with a lake view since I'm the prettiest?- Lindsay asked, which unfortunately for her caused some of the other girls to start glaring at her.

-Um…excuse me!- Dakota interrupted her.- Wrong! I thought it was obvious that I'm the pretty one here.- Dakota said, totally disagreeing with Lindsay's statement.- I should have that cabin with a lake view.

-As if those two skinny girls are the prettiest!- Sugar interrupted them.- They totally look like those shepard's sticks we use back home!- She grumbled as she folded her arms.

-Oh, Sugar. If it makes you feel better, then I think you're the prettiest.- Ella complimented the girl sitting next to her, and put a hand on her shoulder, while Sugar raised an eyebrow and glared at her.

-Okay, chill out girls. If it makes you stop arguing, then you're all pretty. Happy?- Chris said, trying to calm them down.

-But now that I think about it, it's a good question.- Scarlett said as she raised her hand.- I mean, would any of us get any special treatment for winning the challenge, like the new cabin, or a trip to the mainland?

-Yes, and…yes.- Chris replied.- There would be occasional rewards for those who win the week's challenge.- Chris explained.- Although, nobody would get any personal reward until we reach the merge section of this game.

-But when will that happen?- Sky questioned Chris.

-Shush…if you just let Chris talk then he'll explain everything.- Topher shushed her and then turned to Chris.- I'm really sorry for her, Chris. Please, do continue.

-Thank you, Topher!- Chris thanked his Wannabe with a smile on his face.- And to answer your question, Sky. The merge would occur probably around the halfway through the game. So I would say when there would be ten or eleven of you remaining.- Chris explained with a grin on his face.- Anyway, now, let's divide you into teams.

-Ugh…as long as I'm not with Samey, I will be happy!- Amy suddenly interrupted as she threw her hands into the air.- I swear, she can make everything even worse than it was. Like that one time when we were training that new move at our cheerleading practice and she dropped our friend on her head.

-But it was you who dropped Tiffany on her head, not me.- Samey mumbled quietly, looking slightly irritated by Amy's claims.

-Um…oink, oink…attention hog much?- Amy asked as she turned towards Samey.- How dare you try to turn this around and put the blame on me?!

-But I just said the true.- Samey replied meekly.

-Yeah, according to you, not everyone else on the team!- Amy snapped back.

-Ladies, calm down. Now's not the time to be arguin'.- Jasmine said as she stood in between them, trying to calm them down.

-Ugh…those two are so annoying already.- 'Mike' grumbled under his breath as he stared at both twins.

-At least they do not act like total psycho, like that dude!- Shawn exclaimed as he pointed at Duncan who was in the middle of giving a noogie to a deer.

Beardo was then shown making the sounds of a deer.

-Ugh…I am so glad I would not have to sleep next to them.- Scarlett commented with her arms folded.

-But you still might be on the same team as them.- Sky told her.

-Please, do not remind me of that.- Scarlett talked back and looked away.

-Here's the deal!- Chris interrupted them, trying to gain their attention.- We're gonna split you into two teams. If I call your name out, go stand over there.- Chris explained and pointed to a spot off-camera.

-Jasmine.

-Mike.

-Heather.

-Topher…..Lindsay.

-Beth.

-Cameron.

-Ezekiel.

-Ella…..Sugar.

-And Noah.

-From this moment on, you are officially known as...- Chris started saying as he threw a green banner to Topher. After a moment the banner unfurled, revealing the silhouette of a gopher in a fighting stance and wide-opened mouth.- The Screaming Gophers!- Chris announced the team's name with enthusiasm.

-Oh, yeah! Amazing name, Chris! The best you could've come up with!- Topher complimented the host with the look of excitement on his face.

-Darn it! I was hoping to be on the same team as the wizard!- Sugar complained and pouted.

-Oh, but look at the bright side, Sugar! We're on the same team!- Ella cheered as she turned towards Sugar, who was now glaring at Ella with an even more questioning look than before.

-That's….great…- Sugar replied, gritting her teeth in the process.

-The rest of you, over here!- Chris ordered the remaining eleven campers.

-Geoff…Sam.

-Leonard.

-Shawn.

-Amy…Samey.

-Scarlett.

-Beardo.

-Duncan.

-Sky.

-And…Dakota! Move! Move! Move! Move!- Chris suddenly started yelling which caused the Fame-Monger to start running towards somewhere.

-What?! No! I demand an instant change! I refuse to be on the same team as Samey!- Amy yelled, obviously not happy with the team that was chosen for her.

-No! I demand an instant change and I refuse to be on the same team as Amy!- Samey yelled as well as she stood up.

-Oh, stop doing what I'm doing, Samey! Could you be even more unoriginal than you already are?!- Amy questioned her sister as she pointed her finger accusingly at her twin.

-Whoa, chill down, ladies.- Geoff said, as now it was his turn to calm them down.- I'm sure it won't be that hard. I mean, you're sisters, right?

-Yeah…and so what?!- Amy yelled at him and walked away with folded arms and a look of displeasure on her face.

-You guys will officially be known as...- Chris said as he threw a red banner to Leonard, who was standing in the middle of his team. The banner then unveiled, revealing the silhouette of an angry-looking fish.- The Killer Bass!

-Yes! Perfect! After all, the essence of the bass is what we need exactly for the elixir of victory!- Leonard exclaimed happily while others sent him questioning glares.

-Alright campers! You and your team will be on camera in all public areas during the competition!- Chris announced.

Confessional-Chris

The camera now showed Chris sitting in the large outhouse toilet with a few flies buzzing and flying around.

-You will also be able to share your innermost thoughts on tape with video diaries, anytime you want. Let the audience know what you're really thinking! Or just get something off your chest.

Confessional-Samey

-This is, so, not fair. I auditioned for Total Drama to get away from Amy! And, now, she's here, trying to make me look like a bad twin. But it's not like that! I'm the nice twin! Not her!

Confessional-Sugar

-I know it may sound weird since I only know her fer a couple of minutes…but Ella stinks fer me. It's like my ma always said. "Watch out for overly nice girls, Sugar! Cause they're always after your man and your fame!"

Confessional-'Mike'

-They all do not matter to me as long as they do not find out our secret. After that…Let's just say that it ain't gonna be pretty. Ahahahahaha!- 'Mike' started laughing before stopping for a second and grabbing his head before opening his eyes again, his hair getting pulled up again.

-Whoa…why am I in the outhouse toilet?- Mike asked, looking quite confused.- Wasn't I at the boat, just a second ago?

Confessional-Lindsay

The camera showed Lindsay standing up and having her back turned towards the camera as she looked around the confessional.

-I don't get it. Where's the camera guy?

Confessional-Topher

-Aah! I'm making my first confessional! This is so exciting! I can't even describe how happy I am to be here! This is the best day of my life!

-Alright! Any questions?- Chris asked a rhetorical question.- Cool! Let's find your cabins!- He announced happily.

The camera then showcased two cabins, standing not that far from each other, each with two doors and a railed-in porch in front and stairs leading to the said porch. The cabin on the left was turned towards the right side while the other cabin was turned towards the left side. Chris then entered the view from the left side of the camera, with his back turned towards the camera.

-Gophers, you're in the east cabin.- Chris exclaimed as he pointed to the right cabin.

-And Bass, you're in the west.- Chris added as he turned around and pointed at the left cabin.

The camera then focused on the front of one of the cabin's doors. They were then opened from the outside, revealing the inside of the cabin: a large, circular rug lying in the center of the room, a small stool standing under the window on the back wall, with shabby curtains alongside it. And on either side of the room were bunk beds with one set on the left and two sets on the right. Finally next to the bunk beds on the left, stood a pot bellied stove.

The camera then revealed Heather as the person who opened the doors.

-Bunk beds?!- Heather questioned.- Isn't this a little 'summer camp'?- Heather asked as she raised her eyebrows when suddenly Jasmine entered the cabin, walking past Heather and putting her things on one of the beds near the exit.

-I mean, what else would you expect at the summer camp?- Jasmine questioned her.

-Fair.- Heather replied, while entering further to claim the bed of her own, with Lindsay and Beth soon also following her.

The camera then showed Ella, who danced happily into the cabin while singing a song.

-Oh, the cabin I'll share with my dear new friends!- Ella sang as she made a pirouette in the middle of the cabin.

-Through this song, my deepest love for you, I portend!- Ella ended her short song while Beth and Lindsay both clapped their hands with smiles on their faces.

-Shut it, Snow White Wannabe!- Heather yelled at Ella, visibly annoyed by her display.- This isn't a musical, in which you have to sing all the time!

-Oh, but when I love singing!- Ella exclaimed happily.

-I also love singing, but you don't see me yapping my mouth at every possible moment!- Sugar exclaimed as she entered the cabin with her suitcases.

-Oh, Sugar! You finally arrived.- Ella said with a smile as she turned towards the Pageant Queen.- I wanted to ask if you wanted to share a bunk bed with me?

-Oh, shoot. Sorry Ella. I already promised Jasmine that I'll share a bunk bed with her.- Sugar revealed, in the most fake tone ever.

-You did?- Jasmine asked, obviously confused by that statement.

-Oh, I see. Well, I guess I'll have to ask someone else then.- Ella replied, not losing her smile.

-Oh, yeah, sorry once again.- Sugar apologized, although it didn't really sound like a real apology.

Confessional-Sugar

-Of course I lied about me promising Jasmine anything. I mean, as if I let that fake girl sleep above me…or below me…It doesn't matter. What I meant is that it would make me vulnerable for her night attacks. After all, every good pageant girl has at least one or two of those up her sleeve, in order to make sure their enemies don't arrive on time for the pageant!

The camera then moved outside of the cabin and showed Topher and Cameron walking together towards their cabin, with Chris slowly following them, making sure if anybody needed something.

-Where are the outlets?- Lindsay suddenly spoke up, catching the host's attention.- I have to plug in my straightening iron.

-There are some in the communal bathrooms just across the way.- Chris replied with a smirk on his face as he pointed to the bathroom building, not so far away from the cabins.

-Communal bathrooms?- Topher asked as his eyes widened.- Oh, man, Chris! You gotta be joking!- Topher said, obviously not happy with that fact, although he wasn't showing it.- I can't maintain my morning beauty routine properly if I need to share a bathroom with others.

-Wait, but I'm still confused.- Lindsay interrupted him.- I'm not catholic. So why should I use the communion bathroom?

-Not communion, communal.- Chris corrected her.

-It means that there are no private bathrooms, we share them.- Cameron explained to Lindsay.- The showers are in one place, separated into stalls, and toilets are in the other part of it. At least I think that's the case from what I read about them.

The camera then showed Lindsay as her eyes filled with tears.

-OH…NO! C'MON!- Lindsay whined, gaining the attention of the other three boys in her team: Noah, Mike and Ezekiel, as they peered, from the entrance to their side of the cabin, at the scene.

-Wow…is it really that big of a problem to share a bathroom, eh?- Ezekiel asked, visibly confused by Lindsay's whining.

-It depends on whether you are a farm freakshow or a town snob.- Noah replied while rolling his eyes.

-What?- Ezekiel asked, not really understanding.

-Noah meant that she probably grew up having her own bathroom, so she's not familiar with having to share one.- Mike suggested nervously while rubbing his shoulder.

-Oh…the girls are kind of weird, eh.- Ezekiel just commented and then returned to the inside of the cabin.

-Well, it's gonna be his funeral.- Noah deadpanned.

-You think so?- Mike asked.

-My bet is that he would be the first one out.- Noah commented and then returned to the cabin.

-Well, as long as it's not me…- Mike mumbled nervously under his breath and also returned to the cabin.

The camera then showed Chris smiling at the scene that just unfolded until he got called up by someone.

-Excuse me, Chris…- Geoff spoke up from the porch of his cabin, while Sky was shown entering the cabin.- Is there a chaperone of any kind in this facility?

-You're all sixteen years old.- Chris replied shortly after.- As old as a counselor-in-training at a regular summer camp.- Chris said and shrugged.- So other than myself, you'll be unsupervised. You've got half an hour to unpack and meet me at the Main Lodge! Starting now!- Chris said after he looked at his wristwatch and walked away

-Nice!- Geoff cheered, until he noticed Shawn, who instead of getting his things into the cabin, was getting his things away from it.- Hey, Shawn, where are you going, dude? Our cabin is right here.

-Uh, yeah, no! There is no way I'm gonna sleep next to people who can turn into the undead at any minute and feast on MY brain!- Shawn exclaimed.- If any of you need me, I'm going to be in the woods.

-Um…okay.- Geoff said, not really understanding what Shawn meant by that.

In the same moment, Beardo, who peered from the boys' side of their cabin, commented on the scene he just witnessed by making the sounds of a zombie and pretending to walk like one, causing Geoff to chuckle at the joke, but before he could reply, a loud girly scream started coming out of the girl's side of Bass' cabin, causing both of them to run inside.

The camera then showed several other campers, including Geoff, Beardo, Sam, Heather, Duncan, Sugar and Beth, peeking into the cabin through the doors.

-Wow, that girl screams really loud.- Beth commented while the camera showed Dakota standing on the stool, frightened by the sight of a single cockroach crawling on the ground.

-Ewwww! Kill it! Whatever it is!- Dakota yelled, really disgusted and frightened by the bug.

-Ugh! Samey, go down and kill it already!- Amy yelled at Samey, both of them sitting at the top bunk of one of the beds.

-Why me?- Samey asked.

-Um, hello! Cause you're the one for the dirty work!- Amy exclaimed.

The cockroach then started approaching the people near the doors, causing them to scream as well until Beardo ran inside and started stomping his feet around, trying to stomp on the cockroach in the process. The camera showed Sugar and Geoff joining him while most of the girls, including Heather, Beth, Sky and Scarlett stepped on the bunk beds to be as away from the bug as possible.

The camera then showed the cockroach escaping to one of the beds and crawling onto the middle of it when suddenly Duncan appeared in the cabin with an ax in his hands. He immediately raised it up and the camera focused on the cockroach as the words "Help me" could be heard before the punk cut the roach in half, destroying the bed it was on, in the process.

-Well, that's for sure a handy way to kill a cockroach. Although I'm sure we could've just used a banishing spell.- Leonard commented as he raised his finger.

-Awesome!- Geoff commented with awe.

-That was my bed though.- Samey commented with a sigh.

-Oh, stop whining, Samey! Not everything must be about you!- Amy yelled at her sister.

-Dakota, are you okay? Do you need anyone to help you?- Sam asked as he approached the Fame-Monger, who still looked quite disgusted by the whole situation.

-Um…no, thank you…- Dakota said slowly while backing away slowly from the Gamer.

-Oh, okay. But if you need any help then just tell me, I'll be happy to help.- He promised with a smile.

-Oh…okay…- Dakota nodded, not really knowing how to reply.

-Pft…I'm in the team of weaklings.- Duncan commented while rolling his eyes.

The camera then focused on another building, looking really similar to the cabins as the military drumline started playing in the background.

The camera then showed the inside of the building, there were two tables, one closer to the exit, and one closer to the kitchen and around both of those tables were stumps who were supposed to be substitutes for regular chairs. Currently all the campers were waiting in a queue leading to the hulking, black-skinned, man wearing a chef's hat on his head and white apron and had a stern look on his face. This man was better known as Chef Hatchet.

-Listen up! I serve three times a day, and you will eat it three times a day!- Chef ordered angrily.- Grab your tray, get your food, and sit your butts down NOW!- Chef yelled so loudly that all the dishes behind him started rattling.

-Excuse me, will we be getting all the major food groups?- Beth asked, looking a little bit concerned about the quality of the food that the Chef was putting on her tray. He was currently putting a scoop of the red meat-like-slop onto a bun on Beth's tray. After that both she and Cameron, who was standing next to her, took their trays.

-Beth's right.- Cameron said.- Without a balanced diet our bodies won't be able to operate at the maximal efficiency that we need for this kind of show.

-They're both right.- Scarlett, who was standing behind them, also joined the conversation.- Not to mention that without them, we would be at risk of both starvation and possibly even dehydration if we do not get properly filtered water.

-Oh, you don't need to worry about those. There is only a little bit of SHUT THE HECK UP INSIDE THESE!- Chef exclaimed angrily and all three personas backed away quickly.

-Wow, that guy is louder than my aunty Muriel when her favorite TV show starts.- Sugar commented to Noah, who was standing right next to her.

-What was that, you fat girl?!- Chef yelled at the broken girl, who got startled by the sudden outburst of Chef.- I didn't quite hear you?!- He questioned Sugar and beckoned her forward with one finger.

-Oh, I just said that you remind me of my aunty Muriel. She always wasn't quite right in her head, too.- Sugar commented as she took her tray and walked away.

-Oh, you did not just say that!- Chef yelled at her, getting even angrier than before. Then he turned his gaze towards Ezekiel.

-You! Homeschooled kid! Gimme your plate!- Chef ordered and Ezekiel nervously did exactly as Chef told him while Chef put a second dose of red-colored slop on top of Ezekiel's plate. Then, somehow, it jumped back to the scoop and caused Chef to throw it at the plate with even bigger force.

-Did that just clung back onto the scoop, eh?- Ezekiel asked with a nervous smile on his face.

-I think…it just did.- Noah commented, looking slightly concerned himself.

The camera then focused on Sky, Amy and Samey, as they were the next in line.

-So, you girls are a part of a cheerleading team, then?- Sky asked the twins.

-Oh, yeah.- Samey replied with a smile.

-We're like the best cheerleading team in our state! Of course, thanks to me being our leader.- Amy bragged with a smirk on her face.

-Um…but the coach made me the leader…- Samey corrected her.

-So what? You would be an actual leader if you weren't so meek and weak all the time!- Amy complained.- The team needs someone competent, not someone who only cares about the spotlight!

-Um…does it really matter who's the leader?- Sky asked.- In my gymnastic club, we just share our training regimes and help each other out. We don't really have a certain leader.

-Ugh…some parts of cheerleading may include gymnastics but it doesn't make it the same thing!- Amy complained.

-Oh, sorry! I wasn't trying to insinuate anything.- Sky defended herself, thinking that Amy perhaps got the wrong idea.

-Eh, whatever.- Amy sighed.- Samey, grab our trays already and let's go sit down. I'm so bored of waiting in this stupid line!- Amy ordered her sister, after which she left the line to find a seat for herself.

The camera then showed Samey sighing and grabbing two trays of food from the Chef.

-You know, you shouldn't let Amy boss you around this much.- Sky said to Samey, sounding a bit concerned about her.

-Why does it matter?- Samey sighed in defeat.- I'm always gonna be the second sister, no matter how hard I try to change that. After all Amy is the more talented and beautiful out of us two.

-You're kidding, right?- Sky questioned her.- You are identical twins, you look the same. How could she be the beautiful one? I just really think you should stand up for yourself.

-Really?- Samey asked.

-Yeah.- Sky nodded.

-Thanks, Sky. Nobody was this nice and helpful for me, like, forever!- Samey thanked her and then walked away with the trays.

-I hope everything goes well for these two.- Sky then commented with a smile before getting startled by Chef.

-NEXT!- Chef yelled at Sky, causing her to jump in place.

The small time skip then occurred, to when nearly everyone, except for the last three people have already received their meal.

The camera then focused on the meat-like slop on Leonard's tray.

-Excuse me, oh, very powerful cook! Is there any chance of getting a Goblin Berry fruit in these parts? I really need them for my regeneration potions as well as to make sure my HP stays at the very high level.- Leonard politely asked Chef.

-Oh my god, can you finally shut up! You're so annoying!- Heather yelled at the LARPer, looking annoyed by the boy's attitude.

-How dare you?! I let you know that this is a very important matter! Without the fruit, I won't be able to perform as well as the others. Because of this I need…- Before Leonard could end his sentence, Chef forced a spoon with some slop onto his mouth, shutting him up.

-Ugh! Finally!- Heather grumbled and took her tray before leaving the place while the camera then focused on Mike's tray while the red-colored meat-like slop on his plate just moved slightly.

-Okay...I hate to be the one to complain on the first day but I think mine just moved.- Mike said while staring in disbelief at his plate.

The camera then focused on Chef as he stared at Mike and then just simply raised a meat hammer and smashed the slope with all his might, splattering it on both him and Mike

-Right! Okay, then!- Mike replied with a nervous smile, covered by the slope, and took his tray and went towards the table.

The camera then slowly panned over the main lodge, showing the campers eating their food. The Killer Bass were sitting at the table closer to the kitchen while the Screaming Gophers were sitting at the table near the exit. The camera also showed how one of the red slops on the bun crawled through the floor, between the tables.

The camera then focused on Chris entering the lodge through the main door.

-Welcome to the Main Lodge!- Chris announced happily.

-Yo, my man. Can we order a pizza?- Geoff proposed while eyeing out his plate when suddenly a cleaver flew right next to his head and embedded itself into the wall while most of the people gasped.

-Ooh! It's cool, G! The brown slop is good!- Geoff yelled out in fear while an angry Chef was shown holding a shiver knife in his hand to which other campers started agreeing with Geoff.

-Your first challenge begins in one hour!- Chris announced to the campers as he left the Main Lodge.

-What do you think they'll make us do, Jasmine?- Beth asked as she turned towards the Outback Survivalist.

-Probably something easy. It's our first day, after all.- She commented with a shrug.

The camera then showed all campers, standing at the top of the cliff's edge, all wearing their swimsuits, and looking over the edge. The camera then zoomed back twice, with each zoom revealing a bigger amount of the cliff's true height, which turned out to be the tallest place in the area, nearly reaching the clouds.

-Oh $#$#!- Beardo finally said his first words on the show as the screen went black.

-Next time, on Total Drama Island!- Chris said with excitement while standing in the docks.

The camera then changed to the view of the entire one-thousand-foot-high cliff with everyone standing on top of it.

-Your first task is to jump off this one-thousand-foot-high cliff, into the lake!- Chris announced.

Confessional-Geoff

-I'm looking at this guy and thinking, "There is no way he's gonna make it."

Confessional-Sky

-I actually thought that his body would break on impact!

Confessional-Scarlett

-Yeah…there is no way he'll actually survive this.

The camera then showed Cameron, wearing his yellow, swimming trunks, and standing on top of the cliff.

-No! I can't do this! I'm gonna die if I do this! There is no way statistically that I'll survive the fall!- Cameron protested, looking terrified by the idea of jumping off the cliff.

The camera then cut to two sharks slowly emerging from the water at the surface of the lake with their mouths wide-opened.

Next, the camera showed Cameron falling off the cliff and screaming for his life.

Finally the camera showed the terrified looks on Beth's and Jasmine's faces as they were trying to comfort a very distraught Ella as the screen went black.

Hi guys, it's me…I'm kinda back with this new idea. Sorry, if you expected the update on my SYOCs, I know that I'm probably a big disappointment and that I might get hate for that, but the thing is…I didn't have any motivation for writing them. I lost my motivation for them, and just couldn't force myself to write them anymore. I am really sorry once more, but I won't be continuing them. I am just another author, in this big fandom who canceled their stories without finishing them, at least I'm contributing to the statistics.

Anyway, I got this idea after one talk in one of the discord servers where we talked about the new cast of Total Drama, and I joked that someone should be ready to make a new Shuffleverse, using these guys as well, and that maybe I could even do it. And then someone replied by saying that they would love to read a shuffleverse written by me, so I went ahead and shuffled the cast, just for funsies, and then I fell in love with what I got and decided to actually go ahead with this idea.

This, of course, if heavily inspired by Fangren's Shuffled series, if, by some miraculous chance, you are reading this Fangren, then know that you are an amazing writer and that I loved your Shuffled series.

At the same time, I know that this idea was done a million of times already, but I'm really hoping to try and be somehow original with some of the plots that I have in mind

The Shuffleverse idea is simple, for those who don't know though, I basically put every character from TDI to TDPI, minus Blaineley for obvious reasons, into a wheel of decide, and randomized myself a cast for each season.

So…22 guys debuted here, in Total Drama Island, with them eventually competing in Total Drama Action, World Tour and All Stars as well.

2 people will debut in Total Drama World Tour.

13 characters debut in Total Drama Revenge of the Island and some get to compete in All Stars.

And finally, the last 14 peeps compete in Total Drama Pahkitew Island.

Anyway, I hope you liked the premise and the first chapter and that you will stick and help me get through this insane series.

MTDN's out…for now
