One minute, it all happened in one minute.
They were fighting against the mini-dragons from Eclipse, and Gray-Sama got near and told her that he needed to tell her something important, she thought that maybe he wanted to confess, tell her his their feelings match, but then, they hear Lyon's voice, warning them that the dragons were about to hit Juvia and Gray-Sama stood in front of her, protecting her and receiving the fatal blow.
One minute he was in front talking with her and the next he was on the ground, covered in blood and lifeless. Meredy cried out, saying that he was dead, Lyon asking for help, looking for Chelia or Wendy, meanwhile she stood there, not believing what had happened.
That was just a nightmare, yes, her Gray-Sama couldn't have died, it couldn't have happened.
And then, like a nightmare, she woke up and Gray-Sama was there once more, in front of her.
Everyone was shocked, as if they had all had the same nightmare.
Everything seemed to repeat, but thankfully, as if it were a precognition, Gray-Sama managed to dodge the attack and survive,
It wasn't till later that Juvia realized that it hadn't been a nightmare, but had really happened, Ultear had just turned back time, and had sacrificed herself for all of them.
She didn't know much about time magic, but she was very important to Gray-Sama, Lyon-Sama, and Meredy.
And she would be eternally grateful to her for saving Gray-Sama and everyone else from that terrible battle.
Author's Corner.
A little Gruvia Angst from Juvia's point of view.
I think that Mashima should have given them more space at this moment, afterall, it was one of the most impactful moments of the series for me.
I was shocked!
It was very moving,
In the end Gray isn't the only one who died nor the only one who Ultear saved, including Laxus, Macao, Droy and I think maybe Gajeel too…
I always wondered what Gray and Juvia wanted to tell Juvia that was so important.
Was he really going to confess?
It may just be my opinion, because I read that Gruvia could have been canon after the games, but then they decided not to and made us suffer even more until Alvarez.
Anyway, in my opinion they should have given more importance to this moment.
I've read fanfiction where Juvia has nightmares about this and she wakes up crying in the night, and I think that it has happened and that it was traumatic.
Ah, thankfully there are fanfictions, because the series is missing too many moments.
Thanks Botan G for the english language is the one who make this you so much,Adriana!
That said, thank you to those who read and review and we'll see each other next time.
