Iruka was the first to awake, He panicked and ran to the exit which had been locked.
He looked about for something, anything but the darkness that shrouded the hallways was unnerving enough to get his blood pumping.
A note on the floor had told him to go to the cooking club to find a key. Clearly freaked out, he ran only to be caught out by a trap. "What is this? Is this… gasoline?" The stench was immeasurable. He bolted to past the cooking club to get to the boys locker room.
If only he had seen the candle around the corner.
Ayato watched as his first kill burnt to a crisp. Iruka's scream got Ayato's blood hot and pumping. He laughed loudly as Iruka fell to the floor in agony until he stopped moving.
He walked towards the back of the school where his next targets were awaiting him behind the incinerator. He had taken a lot of time to get Kokoro away from the rest of the group, he whispered to her that they were gossiping about her family. Kokoro did not take it kindly and stormed off to the rooftop.
Ayato grabbed and sedated each one as they went about their meaningless day to day lives.
Musume, Kashiko, Hoshiko and Hana were tied up and placed by the incinerator. Ayato leered down at the girls as they awoke. "I know what you did" He taunted them gleefully, playing with the keys in his hand. Musume shook her head as if to say 'What did we ever do to you?!'
Ayato chuckled sinisterly.
"You tried to bully my Taro. Bad choice girls" He muttered as he opened the incinerator.
He grabbed Musume and brought her over "I have just the perfect way to dispatch of you all. Now, you appear to be the leader so what a better way to get started than to send you to hell" He placed her inside.
Musume screamed and pleaded for her life as he closed the doors on her. "Too bad. I could have used the lot of you to help me with my goals, though they would be beyond your simple understanding. Oh well"
He turned it on and the other three girls were forced to listen as Musume was burned alive.
Ayato was clearly enjoying this, judging by the look upon his face. He sighed.
Then, the screaming stopped. "I thought she would have lasted a bit longer, I'm disappointed" He frowned as he picked up Hana and swung her over his shoulder. Kashiko and Hoshiko were dragged to the front of the Zen garden when stepped towards the steam flowing through it.
He had measured its depth earlier, it was small but would be enough to get the job done. He threw Kashiko head first into the water and watched as she struggled to get back into the air. Her purple hair floated to the surface, blocking her vision as her lungs burned under the surface. He put his foot on her chest, just to make sure that she did not escape.
She gave up her last bubbles and drowned.
He jogged with the other two girls to the gardening club, where a decently sized hole had been dug behind the shed. He led up Hana against the hedge before dropping Hoshiko into the hole.
"Why don't you take a look at the stars" He suggested while looking to the sky himself, it was a full moon and the stars looked as if they were aligned. "They'll bring you comfort in your last moments" He remarked cruelly before filling the hole, Hoshiko didn't bother screaming; he suspected that by killing her friends he must had broken her spirit.
He shrugged his shoulders as he patted the hole with the shovel.
Finally, he turned to Hana. "You were the one who started this mess that I had to clean up" He started "If it weren't for you then your friends would be still alive" He grabbed the roped that bound her, dragging her to where the shredder sat. Hana knew what was coming and made a desperate wiggle to get away or break her ropes.
He opened the lid before he noted that she was crawling away. "I do not think so" He quipped in a sing-song voice before grabbing her. Hana screamed at the lungs of her lungs. "No one can hear you, no one will hear you" Ayato taunted as he dragged her back to the shredder.
He placed her in, Hana could feel the ice cold steel cutting into her back without any movement. She winced as her teeth chattered with fear; she knew exactly what was coming next. Ayato walked away and grabbed a bucket before putting it under the pipe. She tried to wiggle to get out but that only tore up the skin on her back. Hana tried pleading with him as she cried out in pain but it fell on deaf ears.
He went to close the lid, then hesitated.
"Actually…" He pasued to think for a moment "I want to see this"
He pressed the button and let the carnage unfold.
Hana never stood a chance.
The bucket was full, he was wondering if his next prey was awake yet…
Shin awoke in his clubroom, to the shock of Ayato staring down at him. Shin realised that he had been coated in blood, he slipped as he tried to stand.
"Good, you're awake. Now, I get to kill you right here!" He pulled out the ritual knife from the skull and aimed for Shin's shoulder. The blade met with flesh and Shin let out a piecing scream. Shin tried to pry Ayato off him, but he was too weak. He simply struggled. Ayato was starting to get annoyed with Shin shoving his hand into his face.
"You're tying my patience!" He spat.
He took the knife and drove it through Shin's chest over and over. He did not stop until Shin's chest cavity had been completely and utterly wrecked, Shin was definitely dead. Bones were sticking out from the wreckage of flesh.
Ayato marvelled at his work.
There was on last person on his hunt and he was going to relish the chase.
Osana awoke in rope but she had been able to get it off and run. She ran through the school, trying to find a way out. She heard footstep behind her, her gut told her to run so she did just that. Hiding in one of the classrooms. The footsteps came and went, she peered out from the classroom to find a very bloody Ayato going into the storeroom before exiting, he forgot to shut the door as he did so. Laughing in a way that told her all she needed to know
Osana quietly peered into the storeroom. It was a Taro, asleep in a duvet, there was a bright blue bottle on the shelf which read 'Sleeping medicine'. 'He was sedated, like the rest of us' Osana knew that the science lab had ammonia in a jar, which would wake him up.
She grabbed the jar, looking over her shoulder every few seconds. Before she finally saw the storeroom and let down her guard for a second.
A fatal mistake as Ayato drive the ritual knife through her lungs.
The sharp pain was agonising as she was shoved into a locker and left to bleed out, she cried and moaned in pain until she finally gave out and died with tears in her eyes, thinking of Taro.
Taro was waking up, his mind was hazy and he had no idea who he ended up here but knew that he had eaten his lunch then woke up. It was obvious that he had been drugged.
He struggled to get up initially but he soon found the strength to walk down towards the clubrooms.
A trail of blood flowed out from the occult club and the smell from inside was terrible. He didn't dare look inside as he walked past.
Then, he recalled the voice from earlier 'Senpai…'
'No…' He thought 'Ayato? He drugged me?" He shook his head in disbelief and horror "That can't be!" He vocalised before fleeing in a frenzy. One of the three guys he genuinely liked had done that to him, what was he planning to do?
The hallways appeared to darken as he bolted through them.
His mind raced as he tried to get out, he was so deep in his thoughts that he bumped straight into Ayato. He was bloody all over. Bits of bone and brain matter was splattered all over him and he scanned Taro head to toe.
He chuckled sinisterly. "This feels familiar" He yipped playfully and held onto Taro tightly. "I was waiting for you to wake up. Now I can show you how much I love you at last!" Ayato gently pushed Taro to the wall before tying his hands behind his back, Taro froze up and couldn't move not matter how much he wanted to.
When he turned to run, Ayato simply grabbed him be his arm.
Ayato picked him up and threw him over his shoulder.
"There. That'll stop you from running away from me dear." He adjusted Taro slightly and began to walk. Ayato had taken him on a tour of the school where he had disposed of those who sought to harm Taro; the horror of seeing each person was too much for him, but Iruka and Musume was the worst because of the smell of burnt flesh. Ayato lied saying that both Iruka and Shin had plotted to get him expelled.
Taro took it hook, line and sinker.
He began to shiver and weep, petrified at what was going to happen to him. His crushes had turned on him, he friends were dead and the last remaining boy he liked had killed them all.
Ayato sensed this and started to carry Taro bridal style. He nestled the upper-class man so he could curl into the crook of Ayato's neck if he wanted."You don't need to worry sweetheart, I won't harm you. I promise." He walked to the front of the school, all the while calming down a nearly hysterical Taro, where a box with wheels was waiting. He placed a tear sodden Taro inside. "Now sweetie" He started, patting his beloved's hair "all you have to do it be quiet until we get home. Can you do that for me?"
Taro nodded quickly, he did not wish to antagonise the young man before him.
"See, I knew you would be good for me" He kissed Taro's head before closing the box. He felt the movement as the streets twisted and turned; a part of him was begging for him to scream, to make a racket, anything. He was frozen in pure, instinctive fear. There in the box he sat, barely making a sound until he heard the sound of a door opening.
He looked out of the tiny hole in the side of the box. They were entering a building but this was not the Buraza town he knew, judging by the trees, this was the woodland just outside of the small harbour town. Ayato turned the lights on and opened the box. Taro stumbled out of it, taking a deep breath as he did so.
"Here we are darling. Home at last, our new nest!" Ayato spoke joyfully as he untied Taro, who stood up and shook with fright. Ayato brought out a part of fluffy blue nightclothes and wiped his eyes. "This'll help. I picked these out just for you darling" He passed them to Taro before guiding him to the bathroom and shutting the door. He heard Ayato walk away, Taro tore off his dirty uniform and washed before he got into the nightclothes 'Why am I doing this? I should be running for my life!' His mind screamed at him.
He exited the bathroom, the door was right there. He would make it if he ran now, he could try...
His body begged to run but he did not move. He turned to where he could hear Ayato humming away to himself and walked over to him. "That was quick dear" Ayato commented happily, he pulled Taro into for a hug "I guess you can't resist me, can you? You couldn't in the maze anyway"
Taro nestled into Ayato's chest worriedly 'Fucks sake, I need to get out of here'; He loved how warm Ayato felt. 'The maze, so it was Ayato giving me those poems…' The younger man stroked his hair and played with it like a cat with a ball of yarn. He looked about the living room, it was bright but not extreme; beautiful and elegant in its wood panelling. A wood burner was the centre piece of it all. The scent of sandalwood was prominent too.
"That's right, I had this place decorated to your tastes. My parents paid for it. Just you wait until you see our new bedroom, its perfect just for us." He boasted.
Indeed he had been stalking Taro from the start of the year, he had learnt nearly everything he liked and disliked in order to craft this gorgeous home. Ryoba had personally paid for it to be built, decorated and furnished. It was Taro in a nutshell and he loved it.
His upper classman was now curling up on his chest. "Are you ready for bed darling?" Taro nodded sleepily. 'I must have given him too much of that sedative' Ayato thought as he picked up Taro, who was now holding onto his neck. Ayato liked that a lot.
The bedroom was done in a gothic style. He had been shocked to learn that Taro loved gothic style furniture and decoration, it didn't seem to be his thing but Ayato chose to have the whole bedroom decked out in it upon finding out. The walls were lined with black and blue wallpaper that shimmered in the moonlight, A large bay window led to a balcony which resembled a birdcage 'He really wants me to be his little songbird' Taro trembled.
The bed itself was the most expensive piece in the room. Nothing inferior would be chosen, Ayato had even gotten a part time job to save money for this particular bed though it took saving for a half a year to afford it. It was a massive black four poster with blue velvet bedding and a black lace canopy. The bed was beautifully craved with scenes from Taro's favourite novels, which he noted immediately. On the bed, there was a revealing rich purple cloak which would be found in a gothic horror novel.
A dark blue seduce chaise sat at the end of the bed, next to a small coffee table. The wardrobes were dark in colour too and large enough for both of them. There was also a bookshelf with each of the books that he remembered Taro reading in the last half a year, there were also some other choices made by recommendations.
Taro walked around the bedroom, taking in everything in his sight "Its beautiful." He whispered, Ayato was elated. "See! I did this all for you, my love." He was almost giddy. Taro studied the place as his mind went to war with itself.
'He did this… all for me. When the others abandoned me, scorned me, he was still there.'
'No! Don't be drawn in! Its a trap!'
'Why would he d this for me if he wanted to harm me? He wants me, he wants only me. His hearts beats for me alone.'
'That's the point! He's trying to fool you! Get away from here!'
'He killed those people because they hurt me, he created all of this for me. My lover with the fox mask.'
Taro bit his lip, his mind flustered.
'There's something wrong with me. I should be afraid of him' He admitted to himself, but he could help but marvel over Ayato's physique in the moonlight. He was still splattered in blood but something about it drew him in. Looking at Ayato was enough to feel intoxicated.
'Why am I so turned on?' Taro thought as he approached Ayato. He reach for his collar and pulled him in for a long kiss. 'He tastes so damn good. I want more! I need more!'
Ayato was shocked, but shocked in a 'I can't believe the love of my life just kissed me' way. He started to giggle cutely, pulling Taro in for another kiss with more passion and fire. "I need to shower darling" Ayato's smooth voice rumbled. Taro shifted uncomfortably.
He came to understand the truth before him. He was always mentally screaming at the female characters to get away from their murderous lovers and yet he was now ensnared in the chains that linked to Ayato 'I want to be his'Taro looked up into Ayato's cold grey eyes and felt the warmth of a raging firepit. "Please" He stammered "Hurry back to me"
'He harmed all those classmates of mine but I still want to be his. I need him'
The shower took a few minutes, Taro had put on the cloak and put the hood on before leaning into a sultry position . When his lover entered the room, he couldn't but feel slightly naked and vulnerable. Ayato lifted his beloved's chin "You look ravishing in that, my love" He started to unbutton Taro's night clothes before stripping them off, leaving only the cloak. "That looks better".
Taro pulled out a pair of handcuffs from behind him, Ayato blushed brightly. "Where did you find those?"
"The red box under the bed" Taro admitted, playing with the cuffs. "I didn't realise that this was your sort of thing" He remarked slyly. He cuffed one of his hands to the post of the bed, before leaning on it. "You said you did all this for me, show what else you can do for me" He grinned seductively before opening his legs.
Ayato made sure to ravish his beloved through the night.
