Sora quickly ran through the streets of Rafta, dodging every citizen down the street. He looks back to see a group of angry men in the distance running towards him. Sora grumbles, "Those outlaws! I can't just let this curse breath without somebody spying on me! Ugh, I hope Riku and Kairi have that trap ready.."

Sora kept running down the street and turns the corner and starts heading down the marketplace. He huffs and looks around at the shops and vendors. Trying to find the perfect place to hide out for a bit and make those outlaws lose his trail. His eye catches a familiar story that he has been into a lot of times and knows the owner very well, it was Pit's Potion Shop!

The hero huffs and heads straight towards Pit's shop.

Meanwhile, Pit was setting up his potions on the shelf that he was going to sell. He puts in a price tag on their corks and he looks at the clipboard he had. It just had drawings of potions and ingredients he had and some interesting graphs he draw to determine what potion he was making depending on the ingredients.

He was a visual learner after all, reading is something he isn't very good at..

Pit checks off a few potions he put on the shelf to sell. "Pit! The brew is done!" A feminine voice behind the counter said.

"Coming, Mom!" Pit walks over to the counter and heads towards the cauldron.

A dove flies over and lands at the edge of the cauldron, she begins to speak, "Perfect health potions! Good job, Pit!"

"Aw, thanks mom.." Pit smiles and looks back at his clipboard again. "I made sure we used the perfect ingredients."

Both the potion witch and dove heard the ring of the doorbell and looked over to see Sora entering the shop. "Sora?" Pit says. He then looks at the dove, "Stay behind the counter, I'll talk to him."

She looks over at Pit and whispers, "Okay." She then flies over to the chair behind the counter and watches Pit head towards Sora. Pit grabs the witch hat that was sitting on the counter - the hat used to be worn by his mother, Palutena. Unfortunately, it's too big for her to wear now. He set the hat on his head. .

"Good morning, Sora! Are you here for a potion? Because I just shelved some!" Pit happily points to the shelves and adjusts his hat slightly.

Sora quickly looks out the door's window. "Uh, no. Sorry, Pit."

Pit noticed how Sora seemed a bit.. squirrelly. "Is everything okay?"

"I need to hang out here for a bit, Pit." Sora looks at him, "A few outlaws saw my curse, me and my friends were going to sneak attack them but.. they sneak attacked us instead." Sora places a hand on his head out of frustration. "Now, I am relying on Kairi and Riku to prepare a trap for them so we can turn them in."

Pit gasps, "What?! They saw your curse? You gotta be more careful! If word gets out that your cursed then-"

"I'll get kicked out of Rafta." Sora sighed. "Yeah, I know, nobody likes cursed people hanging around."

The potion seller sighed. But he shakes his head, "Don't worry, Sora. You can stay here as long as you like. I'll put the close sign back up so they won't suspect a thing." Pit walks by Sora and turns the 'Open' sign to a 'Closed' sign by the door's window.

"Thanks, Pit. Your awesome." Sora smiles brightly at him. Pit simply nods.

"You can browse while you wait. Just call if something catches your eye." Pit goes back behind the counter. "I have some health potions I need to bottle."

Sora backed up from the door and started to look around the shop. It looked a lot better than the first time he saw it. Now that there was two shelves that can hold more potions. Sora stares at the decoration briefly before turning his gaze over to Pit.

He found watching Pit more interesting.

Pit grabs some empty bottles by the caldron and grabs the ladle. He scoops up some of his brew and carefully pours it into the bottle. He did this to two other bottles.

The potion-maker's injured wing twitched when he turned to look at Sora. They both look into each other's eyes and he smiles. Sora blushes a little and smiles back at Pit. Pit then shifts his gaze a little, "Uh, Lady? Lady Palutena? Would you like to check these potions out for me?"

Sora looks around and finds Palutena sitting on the chair. The dove nervously looks at Sora then at Pit. She knew that Pit needed him for something, she just didn't want Sora to know that she was turned into a bird. Palutena sucks in her nervousness, and flies towards Pit. She landed on his shoulder.

"What is it? Are you trying to get me caught?" Palutena whispers.

"No! I need you to check this potion again, it doesn't look great." Pit whispers again and holds up the health potion to her. The potion looked a little bubbly.

"Pit, it looks perfect. I promise. The bubbles will go away soon-"

"It's really sweet of you to name your dove after your mother." Sora said. He didn't hear their whispers. He walked up to the counter to look at the dove.

Pit turns his entire body around so that he and Palutena are facing him. "Oh uhh.." Pit stutters a bit, placing the health potions under the counter. "Yeah, I just.. miss my mom, you know?"

Sora smiles. "Aw, and I love how you show her your potions. You two really bonded with each other and trust each other. I really like that!"

The potion witch chuckles nervously. "Yeah, thanks.."

"Anyways, are you going to the festival tomorrow? To sell your potions?" Sora decided to change the question.

"Oh, yeah! I have a lot of extra potions on the shelf right now that need to be sold. I know I would make a great profit off of them. Then I will be ready for the competition at the end of this week." Pit said confidently.

Sora frowns a little, "I heard that Bowser Boss guy is going to be your competitor. Are you sure you will be able to handle him?"

Pit laughs a little, "That turtle thinks he can take me on, but when the competition starts, he won't know what will hit him. I can easily take him on. No problem at all."

"Even if he's rich and has a big business?" Sora was still a tad worried for Pit. He might not know much about business but this seems like a scary situation.

"Uh, yeah? I am confident and I know my craft." Pit shrugs slightly. "And I know there's people by my side rooting for me."

The hero nods. "I just don't want you to lose these competitions.. I am scared about your debt."

Pit smiles a little, "Sora.." He felt touched that Sora cared so much about his shop and debt. "It's something you shouldn't worry about. I can handle this!"

Sora smiles a little, "Okay, I like your confidence. I hope the competition goes well."

Pit nods and smiles. He looks up and noticed the outlaws ran past the door. "Looks like the guys who were chasing you just ran past."

The hero turns around to look at the door. He walks over at looks out the window. And sure enough, he saw the outlaws ran down the street. "Ha! Suckers.. thanks for letting me stay, Pit! I gotta capture these guys!"

"Wait!" Pit quickly goes under the counter and grabs a potion. Palutena flaps her wings when Pit ducked down to remain balanced on his shoulder. Pit stands up and runs over to Sora, past the counter. "Here! Your cure for today!"

Sora blushes when he gets close to him. "Oh! Thanks, Pit!" He grabs the potions and pops the cork off to drink it. After quickly gulping it down, he hands the empty bottle back to Pit.

"I'll check how your curse is going tomorrow. Stop those bad guys!" Pit said confidently.

Sora laughs, "Will do! See you later, Pit! I hope we can hang out later today!" Sora ran out of the shop and started to follow the outlaws. Trying to catch up with them, he hoped Kairi and Riku were already ready to capture him.

Pit smiles as he left and he turns the 'closed' sign to 'open'. He heads back over to the counter and started to place the empty potion in a bucket of water. "I'm so glad I got to see So-"

"You have a crush on him, don't you?" Palutena interrupted her son.

The potion witch's face turns red. "M-Mom?! Don't say that!"

"What? You seem so.. how do I put this? So bashful when you're near him." Palutena motioned her wing.

"Listen, I know I have a crush on him. But my eyes are still on the prize. Prize money, specifically. So you shouldn't distract me with stuff like that.." Pit still had a blush on his face.

"Pit, there's nothing wrong with hanging out with Sora, besides, you look like you need it. You looked stressed out."

Pit sighed. He stares at the caldron near him and starts to think about hanging out with Sora. "Fine, I'll ask if we can hang out after this shift."
