Lance

Oliver wanted to talk to me.

"What's on your mind, Queen?"

"I've learned to really respect Laurel over the past two years. You know how much I love her."

"Yes, I do."

"I want to spend the rest of my life with Laurel. I'll always honor, respect, and cherish her."

I sighed deeply.

"Can I ask Laurel to marry me?"

"Yes. But if you break her heart, you better run."

"Yeah."

Oliver

Three days later

Laurel and I were laughing as we arrived at the restuarant I made reservations at because I'm gonna propose.

"Oh, my God. It's Oliver Queen."

"You clearly have a fan."

"I have multiple fans." I responded, walking forward with Laurel behind me.

"Queen."

"Right this way, Mr. Queen."

They sat us in a middle seat next to the window cause I asked for a window seat.

"Hey. Can we do the Champagne, Oliver?"

"Yeah. I got to choose last time. Champagne, it is."

"I'm Tony and I'll be your waiter. Can I start you off with something to drink?"

"Two glasses of Champagne."

"We only serve it by the bottle."

"Then a bottle of Champagne."

"Coming right up."

Few minutes later

He arrived with two Champagne flutes.

Tony placed them down in front of us.

"Thank you." Laurel thanked him.

I took the bottle from Tony when he was having a hard time uncorking it.

I easily opened it with the bottle opener.

"Thanks."

"Can I talk to you real quick?"

We moved away from Laurel.

"Will you tell the Chef when they bring out her dessert to write "Will you Marry Me" on the plate?"

"Of course, Mr. Queen."

"And if she says "Yes," I'll leave you a 200 dollar tip."

I walked away from the stunned waiter.

Tony came over, still stunned.

"Can I get you anything to eat?"

"Um... Cheese Ravioli."

"Make that two, please."

"It'll be here shortly." He stated, putting his notepad back in his apron.

Tony (Waiter)

"Hey. With this table, when they order dessert, I'll tell you what plate to put "Will you Marry Me?" On."

"Okay."

Oliver

20 minutes later

He came back with our cheese raviolis, wich had two sides of French Fries.

We started eating.

"I have to tell you something." Laurel told me once she finished and I did too.

"Okay."

"I'm pregnant."

I laughed.

"No backing out now, Oliver."

"I would never leave you."

"Anything for dessert?"

"Um... I'm just going to do Strawberry Cheesecake."

"And I'm going to do Oreo Cheesecake."

"Okay."

Tony

The dessert orders were filled.

"Write "Will You Marry Me?" on this plate."

"Got it."

It said "Will You Marry Me?" in red drizzle.

Oliver

Tony brought the plates out.

She saw it.

Everything went silent as I went down on one knee in front of Laurel.

"I'm so grateful for you. You can never know how much. You've stood beside me when times were darkest. You are the one who lights my way. Dinah Laurel Lance..."

She laughed.

"Would you make me the happiest man on the face of the Earth?"

Laurel nodded her head.

"Yes?"

She laughed.

"Yes."

I slid the 10 carat five row Princess cut diamond Engagement ring on Laurel's left ring finger.

We kissed.

We then ate our dessert.

Tony came back with the check.

I paid the check.

I left him a two hundred dollar tip without Laurel seeing.

We were in the back of my black Limo.

"Wow, it looks even bigger in here. Oh. But to tell you the truth, I don't even care about the bling. All I care about is you."

We kissed again.

"We are not telling your mother yet. God help us all."

I laughed.

"Yeah. She'd go overboard."

"You can tell Robert because he doesn't tell Moira what goes on between the two of you."

"Mm. Your Dad already knew I was going to propose to you tonight. Let's go tell Dinah and Sara."

"Yeah."

"To the Lances' house, please."

"Okay, Mr. Queen."

10 minutes later

We arrived.

"We'll be right back. Don't go nowhere."

"I won't."

Laurel opened the front door.

"Meet the Mrs. Queen-to-be."

"Oh, my God! You're getting married!" Sara yelled.

"Yes, we are."

Dinah and Sara hugged me.

Quentin and I shook hands.

Dinah and Sara hugged Laurel.

Quentin also hugged Laurel.

Next Day

I was lounging around on Dad's couch in his office.

"How'd your date go last night?"

"Good. Laurel accepted her early Birthday gift from me."

He looked up from the paperwork he was doing.

"You proposed to her, didn't you?"

"Mm-hmm. And another thing: She's pregnant."

"You do know better than to not have your mother informed, right?"

"Ah. We're going to throw a huge Dinner tonight. She'll find out then. You, Quentin, Dinah, and Sara are the only ones that know. Obviously, Quentin because I went to ask him for permission to propose to her."

"Cause you're a good man."

"Like you. Like you and Mom raised me to be. And now I'm going to be a husband and a father in a span of one year."

"God help us all."

We both laughed.

Oliver

Later that night

Laurel and I were sitting at the head of the table.

I cleared my throat.

I stood up.

"My father, Dinah, Quentin, and Sara are already informed. Laurel and I are getting married. We're engaged."

Laurel stood up beside me.

"And on that note, I'm also pregnant. He's going to be a father and a husband within a span of a year. Lucky him. He gets to be with me for the rest of his life."

"And I'm fortunate enough to be able to be with you for the rest of my life.

I kissed Laurel.

I dipped her backwards in my arms.

"Well, that's certainly a surprise." Tommy's Dad, Malcolm commented.

"God help us all."

Laurel burst out laughing.

She almost fell but I caught her.

"Cheers to Laurel and Ollie!" Thea announced.

"Cheers!"

We all clanked Champagne flutes. Or Wine glasses.

Thea's and Laurel's were filled with Sparkling Cider.

Robert

Laurel and Oliver were sitting at the head of the table.

Oliver cleared his throat.

He stood up.

"My father, Dinah, Quentin, and Sara are already informed. Laurel and I are getting married. We're engaged."

Laurel stood up beside Oliver.

"And on that note. I'm also pregnant. He's going to be a father and a husband within a span of a year. Lucky him. He gets to be with me for the rest of his life."

Oliver kissed Laurel.

He dipped her backwards in his arms.

"Well, that's certainly a surprise." Malcolm commented.

"God help us all."

Laurel burst out laughing.

She almost fell but Oliver caught her.

"Cheers to Laurel and Ollie!" Thea announced.

"Cheers!"

We all clanked Champagne flutes. Or Wine glasses.

Thea's and Laurel's were filled with Sparkling Cider.

Thea and Oliver were laughing as she downed it.

"Like brother like Sister much, huh?" Moira whispered to me.

"Mm-hmm."

Tommy was already drunk.

"Okay. You're done." Malcolm stated, taking it from him.

Tommy was laughing.

Oliver was laughing.

"What can I tell you? My son's a troublemaker." I whispered to Malcolm.

"So's mine. They rub off on each other."

"I heard that!" Tommy yelled.

"You're going to go sleep this off. Come on."

Oliver threw him in his room on his bed.

"Um... I think Tommy's not coming home tonight." Oliver announced when we heard Tommy snoring.

"Reminds me of his mother everyday."

"Yeah." Oliver stated, sitting back down next to Laurel.

"Can you believe how old our son is? He's 21. Jeez. Where did the years go?"

"I don't know. You got a lot of next generation of Queens with these two. And or his."

Thea looked at Malcolm.

"Ignore him. You are a Queen by blood."

"What? Hers?"

"That is not necessary." Oliver stated.

"Or am I even hers?" She questioned.

"I look nothing like her. I look like him. God help me when I grow up." Thea pointed out before stomping off to her room.

"Smooth, Robert."

"Somebody had to tell her the truth."

Thea

Mom and my step Dad had trusted me with a piercing tool and nose rings, belly button rings, lip rings, and eyebrow rings I got from my friend's Mom.

I pierced all up my right and left ears.

I put diamond studs in all of the pierced holes, so they don't get infected.

I pierced my nose.

I put one of the nose rings in it.

I pierced my belly button.

I put one of the rings in it.

I pierced my lips.

I put two of the rings on it.

I pierced both of my eyebrows.

I put two rings on the both of them.

I walked out of my room.

Robert

Oliver laughed.

Laurel's jaw dropped.

I turned around as did Moira and Malcolm.

Thea had pierced up both of her ears, which had diamond studs in them.

She pierced her nose with a nose ring in it.

Thea pierced her belly button with a belly button ring in it.

She pierced her lips with two lip rings on them.

Thea pierced both her eyebrows with two rings on each.

"Are you insane? Did you seriously trust her with a piercing tool?"

"Blame her. Not me. I told her not to let her have it. But she doesn't listen to me.

"I like it." Sara commented.

"Good God. Now, we learned a lesson. Do not let our child anywhere near a piercing tool."

Thea sat back down.

She was smirking.

"I wonder where she got this rebellious spirit from."

"Oliver."

"Thanks for blaming me."
