The following morning, Eliza was setting up an area for surgery.

"Alright, I have everything ready, now I just need to wait for Omari," said Eliza.

"I'm here, doctor," said the lion as he walked up. At the same time, Kattie came out of the camper with a camera around her neck.

"Where are you heading off to?" asked Eliza.

"To take some pictures around the area, the magazine is asking for some of a lion pride," said Kattie.

"So, I was hoping to get some of Omari's pride," said Kattie.

"They should not be too far from here over at that big boulder to the east, I'm sure they will help you with the pictures you need," said Omari while using his left paw to point in the direction.

"Thanks, and don't worry," said Kattie while petting Omari behind the ear.

"You're in the best of hands when it comes to my mom," she said.

"I already know that, but thank you for the extra comfort," said Omari. Kattie then rushed to find the pride while Eliza finished setting up.

"That's one happy cub you have there, Eliza," said Omari as he climbed onto the exam table.

"Oh, I know," said Eliza with a smile at the same time she was preparing a tranquilizer. She then stuck him with the tranquilizer before walking in front of him.

"Now count backwards from ten," she said.

"Ten, nine, eigh…t, sev…en," said Omari before he was out, his body going limp in the process.

"Okay, Omari, here comes the tough part," said Eliza while getting a device to open Omari's mouth in order to get to the tooth.
